We were in the area and kept driving by this spot. Their wrestler logo is definitely eyecatching. It's a California inspired taco and burrito spot. I am a fan of that food so I had to check this spot out. There were plenty of seating and service was friendly. It's setup like a Subway where you can see them making your food. I opted for the 12" Cali burrito which was surprisingly good. It had fries, carne asada, cheese, pico de gallo, sour cream, and guacamole. Wow, so good. Overall, a good spot for some tacos and burritos and id go there again!

We stumbled on Luchador some years ago. It’s well located on the main strip, White Mountain Hwy. The menu is simple – tacos and burritos, nachos, quesadilla or salads. The ingredients are fresh. The portions are generous. It is nothing fancy but worth the stop.

Google
Home town feel with big flavors and AMAZING 😍 hot sauces!!! Go hungry because you can get a HUGE burrito or protein bowl with 70 grams of protein 🤯. Excellent location and easy to get in and out of. Kid friendly. Sauces to purchase. Apple Pie Churros were unreal!

Google
The chicken burrito i had was awesome. The ingredients were fresh and the online ordering process was very easy. It was exactly as i ordered it. The spicy sauce was very good. I'm glad I finally tried this place. Next time I'm up there ill try something else on the menu perhaps tacos. Definitely stop in here if you like good Mexican food

Google
Food was great, little pricey for what it was, but I appreciate that spicy was actually spicy. Looked like they wanted to sell merch as much as tacos/burritos, so that’s a bummer. Outdoor seating could use a spruce up.

Google
I usually tend to have a light appetite, as does the person I dined with today, and we almost always end up leaving any restaurant we visit with a to-go box in hand. Not this time. He got the street tacos, I got the supreme nachos with carnitas, salsa fresca, their special sauce, sour cream, nacho and shredded cheese, and a healthy addition of pickled red onion. They were STELLAR. The house made chips held up incredibly well against the weight of the heaps of toppings, and everything was fresh, succulent, savory, spicy, absolutely perfect. I even got a bite of the street tacos before they were gone and once again, no notes, absolutely sublime. I've lived in NH all my life and traveled a ton all over the country, and this is by far the best Mexican food I've had in all of New England.

Google
I came her to eat on vacation not knowing what I was about to discover. These tacos blew me away. They were SO good. The rice was so good and homemade. It melted in your mouth. The atmosphere was so nice and the food was fairly cheap. If you are in the area you need to check this out. Best tacos ever🌮

Google
This burrito bowl was next-level amazing. Every bite was packed with fresh, bold flavors that tasted homemade with so much love. The perfectly seasoned protein, fluffy rice, and fresh toppings all came together like a knockout combo. You can tell it’s a family-owned spot — the portions are generous, the quality is top notch, and the service makes you feel right at home. Luchador Tacos isn’t just serving food, they’re serving comfort in a bowl. Easily the best burrito bowl I’ve had!”

Yelp
Service was great and the food was delicious. I got the cowboy tacos and my husband got the Luchador burrito. Our server was happy and friendly and everything he made for us was perfection. Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
They have some of the nicest staff! We stopped in for lunch. We have been before and It was pretty good last time too. I had a rice bowl which I thought was pretty good. Better than their rice bowl competition. The chicken was delicious. They do double portion on request. If you are hungry I would totally do It. The lime rice was yummy. And the food was fresh. The inside of the diner area was a bit to hot to sit in but there is seating outside. I think all the windows made It like a greenhouse in there. Bathroom a were clean and plenty of parking. We will be back.

Yelp
We greatly enjoyed our late lunch at Luchador Tacos! As native southern Californians, it's difficult to find good Mexican food in the northeast. Luchador gave us a bit of spice and a taste of home. We felt awful for the very friendly and efficient employees, because the a/c was out and it was stiflingly hot in there! Definitely cruel and unusual working conditions! Unpleasant for the customers, too, but at least we could escape! The owner really needs to get on that.

Yelp
First time to experience this taco place. Simple, clean, and festive place. Outdoor seating appears to be available in warm weather seasons. We stayed indoors, because it was freezing and snowing outside. We tried a sampler basket of three different street tacos. Every ingredient was delicious. Chicken, beef, pork, guacamole, variety of salsa. Each basket included beans and rice (choice of black/pinto, and white/seasoned). A great value. Friendly service. Fun experience. Only thing needed to make this a perfect experience: beer. Looking forward to a return trip.

Yelp
As a Texan visiting, verdict simply is "It's good but not great". We got: * kids tacos * Americano Burrito * Taco Sampler * Protein Fitness Bowl (+ Chipotle sauce) For a taco-fix, it'll do!

Yelp
Finally tried this place! It was tasty!! Busy for sure but the workers kept the line moving! I was hopeful about the guac but it was squeezed out of a ketchup type bottle. But I would def go again and try something different . There is seating for dine in
google avatar

Yelp
Great street tacos, carne asado is the best in my opinion. No options for a la carte, only full meals.
google avatar

Jason E.

Yelp
Americano tacos were awesome. Customer service was outstanding! Great experience!! I'll definitely be back.

Yelp
Gosh, I really love luchador tacos! Hubby and I were pretty hungry, and this place just totally hit the spot for a late lunch on our way to our hotel. The flavors are on point! My only beef is that the portion sizes aren't a hint larger. Service was quick and efficient, and the interior is very cute. Bathrooms were clean! A solid place to catch a quick bite to eat.

Yelp
The best Cali Burrito I've had outside Cali! I'm really picky about my burritos having sampling many on nearly yearly trips to San Diego and the Cali here really stands up. The carne asada had the nice little pieces ladled with some tasty juiciness. The fries were the legit thin ones you get in San Diego and the pico was super fresh. The portion sizes were huge and the burritos were stuffed as big as they get without bursting. The 3 people working behind the counter were really kind and knowledgeable and very willing to customize the order. Additionally, we deal with nut allergies and this place is nut free! Totally recommend this hole in the wall to others in or around North Conway!

Heidi G.

Yelp
We've visited in times past with good results. Today didn't work out as well. About 80 bucks got 4 lunches with tired overcooked meat and old lettuce with brown edges, mushy overcooked lime cilantro rice and guacamole "pudding" that was brown on top. The best part was the buñuelas dessert with choc sauce. And nice people were working there. In retrospect, we probably just should have walked out. Here's hoping our lunch doesn't cost us any more than the bill itself.
google avatar

Penny K.

Yelp
I've been eating here for years-- always appreciated fresh food and chunky, homemade guacamole. Not today--they gave me a squirt of their new guacamole. From a dressing-like bottle. So bad! Salty, runny, and a brown color. Won't be going back any time soon.

John K.

Yelp
My wife had the sampler tacos and I had the cowboy tacos. The food was served hot and fresh. The ingredients tasted like they were sourced with care, and the attention to detail in every dish was evident. The prices were reasonable for the quality. This is hands-down our new go-to spot in North Conway. If you're looking for fresh, flavorful tacos and a welcoming vibe, Luchador Tacos is a must-visit.
google avatar

Yelp
If you have $30 you want to get rid of and also need a quick cold snack then come to Luchador. The luchador burrito was fine, they're really skinny and the tacos were incredibly small, cold, and disappointing. This place is rated the best tacos in NH, well I don't really see any other taco places so yes there is no competition so story checks out. Service is fine, just kids working here and the decor is pretty cool so a couple of stars for that. Try it out!
google avatar

Yelp
I stopped by this place and was greeted by an upbeat and vibrant staff! I could tell that this place was the real deal by the way they greeted their customers, and how happy they were to order! I ordered a Cowboy burrito that came with rice, black beans, chicken & cilantro! I also added peppers and some delicious salsas!! This burrito was booming with flavor! It reminded me of Mexican food that I have had in Arizona & Mexico! The ingredients are mighty fresh, and the staff is making the food with love also!!! Check this place out! You are in for a treat!

Yelp
I've been driving past this place for ages. Seemed like a campy little taco shop and finally got that chance to try it. Hubby was happy with the protein/fitness bowl. I got the taco sampler and chips and salsa. Normally I love salsa verde, but this place goes in an unusual direction with adding cloves and/or nutmeg to the salsa. It was overpowering and just didn't work. I expect salsa verde to be bright and tangy, with the tomatillos taking the lead. This...was neither. I can forgive a chef going in a direction I wouldn't. But the biggest complaint was that the red hot salsa tasted like "fridge". This tainted everything. They no longer have the selection of hot sauces, so we bought a bottle of the hot sauce. It also tasted like "fridge". The rest of it was fine. Not spectacular, but decent. The rice and beans were a little bland for my tastes, but not bad. Overall, though, I liked can't get past the fridge taste and weird salsa spices. I think we'll be passing on this place in the future.

Yelp
Yum! Who knew that New Hampshire has such good Mexican food!? I tried both the carnitas and carne asada and they were both great. The Mexican rice was good. The nachos were excellent ( the menu said they were $8.50 but they rung up as $9. They probably should change the menu but totally worth the price) Also the decor was very cute with retro posters, a bright blue wall, and rainbow umbrellas. Highly recommended!

Yelp
We need some thing to hold us over until dinner time so we split a quesarito. They have a variety of proteins to choose from and a couple of different beans. We chose carnitas - my go to protein and refried beans. They then go over what you want to add - lettuce, pico, cheese etc and make it in front of you They were very accommodating and cut it in half for us. It needed to sit after being rolled a minute to make sure it held together when cut. How thoughtful is that if the employee! No time to take a pic, very hungry. It was tasty, very tasty and we both enjoyed it a lot. Employees were all very friendly. Would definitely eat here again. Skip those national chains, this is a local treasure

Yelp
On a road trip from the Bay Area, Luchador Tacos satisfied the craving for west coast flavor! I ordered the veggie burrito and it did not disappoint! The rice was fluffy and seasoned perfectly, the grilled vegetables were not over cooked (which I appreciate), and the guacamole tasted like it was made just moments before and had a perfect punch of lime. The beans rival my Abuelita's... so tender and flavorful. I'm not a big eater, but I'm not kidding when I say I ate the whole thing...I couldn't stop it was soooo delicious. My husband and sons ordered street tacos. They said the chicken and carne asada were amazing and they definitely want to come back before we leave. The servers were patient and very helpful! ** came back the next day and had tacos! The tortillas were so good! But the real MVP was Will! He was so incredibly friendly. I appreciate how hard he was working while still making small talk with us. He gave me great advice on how to purchase merch (I loved the "tacos before vatos" work shirt). Will is a gem!!!

Yelp
Best tacos in town! The flavors are authentic, and the ingredients are always fresh. Highly recommend this place

Yelp
We snagged a few taco orders from this place to join us on the journey on kamcamagus highway. I'm vegetarian and GF has a high meat-trusting threshold so we bothered the vegetarian tacos. The only vegetarian option for tacos is "veggie WITH guacamole" which is misleading because what it really is, is just guacamole. You may be expecting some stir fried peppers, onions, whatever else comes standard in vegetable tacos but you would be mistaken. The vegetarian tacos are literally guac inside a shell covered with whatever toppings you select. There's certainly nothing wrong with this but I found it unusual. For toppings, the options include onions, cilantro, cilantro/onion mix, pickled onions, lettuce, cheese, sour cream, jalapenos, and a bunch of salsas/sauces. Because I'm petrified of onions, this left me with a flour tortilla, guac, lettuce, and jalapenos which, needless to say, aren't the best tacos I've had in my life. I imagine that if you eat meat and/or enjoy onions, your experience will probably be much better than mine. I will say that you can select two sides. Because I'm masochistic, I chose both pinto beans and black beans and both were tasty. The other options are mexican rice and cilantro-lime rice. GF ordered the veggie taco with cilantro and pico de gallo. She adored her tacos. The ingredients were fresh and I like what they're doing here, especially by offering vegetarian options, but I think they need to make some adjustments to the vegetarian tacos.

Yelp
Good for the area , but definitely gone down hill since I last was here 3 years ago. My street tacos really didn't have any flavor , just tasted the corn from the taco. Horchata was on point though. Like I said it's good for the area but...
google avatar

Marshall G.

Yelp
We need something simple and they only have burritos n tacos n bowls of same. Beef or chicken. Wait in line to order. In and out seating. Soft drinks only. I had one of each and black beans on the side Looked good. Lucky I got in , I think they close at seven. Hope they are as good as they looked. Update: both were excellent. The black beans were kind of dry. They did serve small yellow Chili's and cilantro on the side. I would def go back if I was staying in town longer. VG Burritos.
google avatar

Nima P.

Yelp
Simple and good. Salsas were delicious. Service was quick. Could have been a bit less messy but it was busy
google avatar

Yoshi C.

Yelp
This is New England Mexican fusion. Several of the burritos have French fries inside of them. Many include nacho cheese sauce. If this is your thing, you won't be disappointed.
google avatar

Jon C.

Yelp
Stopped in for a quick lunch. The two ladies at the counter were awesome. They were quick with their service and very friendly. The Americano tacos were delicious. The only reason this wasn't a 5 star was the chips. Looked and tasted like basic cheap store bought chips.
google avatar

Eric C.

Yelp
I'm gonna go against the grain here and say that the food was mediocre. It's a step below Chipotle. OK, fine the prices are fair considering the city you're in. But that's about it. The staff at times just seems like they are present and that's about it. They don't seem to have the most knowledge of the food. Also, they don't serve guacamole. It's just not offered. That's kind of weird. especially considering I spied a box of avocados under the counter. Anyway, I guess go here if you were desperate to save money and the Mexican place down the road was filled. But otherwise there's no real reason to go here.
google avatar

Jennifer B.

Yelp
Ordered take out tacos from here on a weekday evening. Very easy on their website. There was quite a wait as this place is popular, so our food wasn't ready when it should have been. Took some time for bean tacos, but worth the wait. They load you up with toppings like onions and cilantro. They even double up the tortillas which is the right way to do it. Plenty of authenticity in their food. A handful of plant-based, vegan friendly items. It was good and we'd get takeout again. I think they are open for inside dining, but it looks like a fast-food restaurant inside so we'll keep getting to go orders.
google avatar

Betz V.

Yelp
Carnitas Bowl with cilantro rice, three types of sauce, pickled onions, black beans, lettuce, salsa...Tasted better than Chipotle. $25 for a bowl and burrito + drinks
google avatar

Jenna W.

Yelp
Delicious tacos, friendly staff, casual atmosphere with seating inside and out. My kids each ate every bite of their tacos and the adults were happy too! Nice selection of drinks (lots of Jarrito flavors). The food was very fresh. We will come back!
google avatar

Rick L.

Yelp
Excellent Very efficient operation and the food really excelled. He makes it right in front of you and you can pick your add ins as he makes the tacos!

Tyler D.

Yelp
I had a Luchador Taco and it was awesome I also added hot salsa and it was sweet and spicy. The food was made pretty quick and the workers were all nice. I really recommend this place.
google avatar

Mary W.

Yelp
Have been going here since their first little food truck across from the court house in Norway ME! I have always liked their stuff. And would definitely recommend it to others to try. Only critique would be the rice does seem overcooked most of the time, and looks like the employees sometimes need a little uplifting. But overall, have always loved this place, and will always come back.
google avatar

Anca P.

Yelp
Food is always great! Perfect for take out , although we have set down and eaten there, but mostly outside, during the summer months.
google avatar

Emma S.

Yelp
Hands down one of the best burrito bowls I've ever had! So fresh and flavorful! Plenty of topping options! The staff was incredibly helpful and nice (as it was my first time here) will definitely be coming back here again and only here!
google avatar

Shawn H.

Yelp
There is no good food in this entire town apparently, as evidenced by this taco place having 4.5 stars. It's certainly better than Taco Bell, but it's not really anything to get excited about. I have kindly rounded up to 3 stars but it's really about a 2.5 star taco place. No Barbacoa, No Lengua, and out of Carnitas when we came. Also, no Hispanic people anywhere to be found (employees or customers) which is evident in the lackluster flavors. Also ordered Salsa and was given Pico de Gallo. Not sure if this was a mistake or if they really don't have a proper salsa. It was ok. Sadly, it's probably the best thing in this town based on reading reviews of other restaurants in the area.

Yelp
Every summer our family visits North Conway to tube on the Saco River. The part of the trip I anticipate the most is eating at Luchador Tacos. Delicious food, the friendliest staff and a nice view of the mountains. I highly recommend checking it out!

Yelp
Being from Arizona, we thought twice about having tacos in NH, but we needed something different after eating our way through New England. But there isn't much to say besides it was "fine." 3 tacos with some beans and (very mediocre) rice for 12$ is an ok deal. They are "street tacos" which are on the smaller side, but the plate did fill me up. Unfortunately the only options for their tacos are corn tortillas, though they do have large flour ones for their burritos. We also ordered chips and salsa. I tried both kinds. Their hot was decent and spicy enough, but their green salsa was either spoiled or had a weird spice that was a real turnoff. By the by, on Tuesdays they have all you can eat tacos, which I did not partake in. Overall, it was a fine spot to stop in this tiny town where most restaurants were closed (on a Tuesday afternoon?). The staff inside was pretty friendly and the food was decent for what it was.

Yelp
Every time we come up to North Conway , we always pass Luchador Tacos. We needed to try this place and wow I wish I tried this place sooner !! Everything from the lettuce to the rice beans and chicken was fresh and delicious. Staff were so kind and quick. The inside was clean and outside there were benches to eat outside. I loved the food so much I will visit next time I'm up this way.
google avatar

Erik U.

Yelp
Mediocre at best. Chipotle is better. This some water down fake Mexican food. Chipotle ain't mex either

Yelp
Visited Luchador Tacos in North Conway on this gorgeous 67 degree 1st of May! I ordered a Luchador Taco (carne asada, rice, beans, cilantro, hot sauce, pico de gallo, and cheese) My companion got a burrito bowl (steak, fajita vegetables, lettuce, pico de gallo, sour cream, cheese, and green salsa) because she is counting carbs for medical reasons. Everything was exceptionally delicious and full of flavor! The veggies were crisp and fresh, meat was tender and seasoned perfectly, and you could tell that the sauces were made fresh in house. To top it off, the employees were friendly and helpful. Place was clean-including the bathroom. Don't mess with Chipotle (1star). I would recommend Luchador Tacos! FYI- the hot sauce is hot! And I like it that way! Thank you guys!
google avatar

Vanessa E.

Yelp
This place is fantastic! I stopped by on my way he to Massachusetts and enjoyed a burrito bowl with veggies and guacamole. Staff was very kind, professional and polite. The bathrooms were open (phew! Some are closed during COVID19) and very clean. I will be back!
google avatar

John S.

Yelp
They were doing a business and they were friendly, but I'm not sure if those burritos stack up. I don't like to compare independent places to something like a chipotle, but with a chipotle in town, I felt like I could get a tastier and fresher burrito there.

Bee G.

Yelp
There is good reason there is always a line here. Tasty, fresh Mexican! The restaurant itself inside is decorated well, if a little crowded. The food is the star. Steak is delicious, the toppings have a million combos. I really enjoy the freshly cut jalapeños (unlike most places that are canned). The Pico De Gallo is outstanding. Guac was awesome too. Don't skip this for a filling, delicious bite!
google avatar

Jeremy T.

Yelp
Stopped in to check out the restaurant after driving by a few times. Friendly staff and excellent food. I had the luchador burrito and it was incredible. My son had the quesadilla and gave it a 10/10. Definitely recommend this restaurant.
google avatar

Katie D.

Yelp
Just had lunch at Luchador Tacos, very unassuming outside appearance but don't let that fool you! Amazing food! Ingredients tasted very fresh and flavorful! Best veggie burrito I've had in a while, first burrito I've had that didn't fully fall apart while eating. Perfect size, price isn't bad for the product. Nice fast service, she really made sure we got everything we wanted. I will be back!

Joaquin C.

Yelp
Friendly staff, nice place, good location, nice tables inside and outside. The beans were very bland, flavorless, the rice was also very bland. As a Mexican it is very disappointing to see this bland food associated to a Mexican restaurant. The green salsa was watered down. It has potential but needs much better basics in Mexican food.
