Luchini Italian

Luchini’s used to be one of my favorites on Uber eats until tonight. I decided to try something new and ordered the Santa Maria since it looked good on the app, but when I got it there was no basil pesto or almond ricotta. I thought to myself I might as well still try it (maybe it’ll still be tasty) upon picking up the slice it was so soggy when I bit into it I realized the dough was so underbaked and raw I ended up with a stomach ache. Luckily this wasn’t one of those nights where I had family or friends over because we’d order from here but not anymore. Mistakes happen with mixing up orders, but to send an underbaked pizza to a customer and leaving them with a stomach ache is just terrible !!

We loved it! First time ordered on Uber Eats - found it on seated app. Raining out but still came in less than a half hour. We got the New Yorker pizza (photo attached) and the Shroomin Pizza - both incredibly delicious. The sauce on the New Yorker was really fresh and tangy. We got the Lemon Chicken entree - superb. Not sure how the previous reviews are from the same place - but we found our new favorite Italian!

Ordered take out from here and it was bomb! Pizza and hero sandwiches were delish but don’t sleep on the chicken in lemon butter sauce!!

Questions of coincidence or pure racism….out of 4 tables the table with the black couple is the only one not being served the complimentary taralli …

I ordered thru my job Fooda /Mongo Db The 1st time the sandwich was perfect...last 2xs Ya'll burnt my bread I'm not enjoying this sandwich At all...I get this is rush time,but if u burnt it just redo the sandwich to avoid reviews like mine...

Delivery is definitely a little slow sometimes but it's worth the wait. The food is fantastic. The meatball sub is arguably the best one I've found in NYC.

Good Sicilian style pizza

Worst delivery! DON"T ORDER LUNCH HERE! I get email said it's delivered, BUT i don't see the food or delivery man!

Wow, ordered through seamless and they came on time. The rating is for their chicken Caesar salad sandwich. I had to stop eating to write this review because the sandwich is that good. Lol fries were bomb too and their mozzarella come with prosciutto inside. 10/10

I want to give this place four or five stars... it just doesn't really deserve them. They will over charge and under serve you... the foods good, okay fine, four stars because 3 doesn't seem right either. The salad I had was bogus, nothing in it and something like $18, the rolatini hero would have been good but there's no eggplant, well, they're smart, there's a peice of eggplant wrapped around ricotta, saves them from layering on eggplant, as off eggplant is expensive... the hero was large but it was like eating a loaf seasoned with sauce eggplant and cheese, lightly seasoned. It's a shame because it could have been amazing. Their flavors are there. I don't even want to go on, the cheese fondue app was a lot of thick cheese and like one meatball chopped up with sauce... tasty but not amazing like it truly almost could have been. Again, just an overpriced let down. The foods good but I'm still cranky about the experience.

The pizza and sandwiches were ok when we ordered from Luchini last time, so we thought we'd try their pasta, wings, and an appetizer tonight. Bad idea. Delivery took forever. All of the food was cold. Ingredients were missing in both pastas. The wings were fatty and undercooked. The appetizer, which was this fried mozzarella creation, was gross. We threw half of the meal away, which is unheard of in our home. After this experience, I'm far too nervous to even try their sandwiches and pizza again. 1/5.

Smoked turkey is legit, a nice huge Italian style sandwich! The bread is nice a crunch like most Italian breads are. Note they do not accept hotel room charges so you can not use your Moxy food and beverage credit here.

Luchini Italian has quickly become the only Italian takeout I order from. Old School good, quality ingredients - prepared right. ... giant heros can not be said enough! I was comfortable with my go to spot, found this place by accident on Door Dash. So glad I gave it a try. - Angry Maria Pizza - "Chicken Parm Hero Vodka Sauce with Meat (with Prosciutto)" - Italian Cubano - Olive Oil Cake ...enjoy, your welcome...

Got the Garibaldi hero about five or six times and it is great. Can't believe size and weight of sandwich.also well made with excellent ingredients and piled on so much that anyone would be satisfied after eating it. Last Saturday got it and as soon as I felt the bag I knew I was going to be disappointed. The sandwich had half the amount of usual meat and although tasted good it was leash. I'll give them one more try, and I hope it's the one I've loved before.

Vodka pizza is insane. One of the best for takeout in NYC. Ordered from here multiple times and it never disappoints.

Rainbow cookies here are heaven. Soft, moist cubes of cake with a crunchy topping. Not sure if the make these or get them from somewhere, but that should be there business. Look forward to this everytime. The pizza is good, maybe not the greatest in nyc but pretty good.

Service-- pleasant, efficient, quick,. Food--mixed grill, . ordered "medium" but meat was tougher and drier than expected. Grilled garlic was a nice addition. Some bread would have been a welcomed extra Mixed green salad. lackluster. Lasagna...flavors buried by heavy tomato sauce. Chocolate Cake-- cake was a bit dry, cream was lovely Espresso, good. I share these opinions with you because I care, and think small changes could really make this restaurant good. Not trying to be difficult. Truly.

We ordered from here for delivery with the restaurant week promo. We were able to try some mozzarella sticks, pizza, and pastas and overall everything was very good! Will definitely keep this spot in the rotation.

I order pasta with garlic sauce to go and the lunch arrived 1.5hours after the schedule delivery time. Probably not the fault of the chefs, since it might be sitting there for a while before getting delivered, but the pasta came very soggy and cold and there's water spilled all over inside the plastic bag. The taste is bland. It's just edible. 2 stars - edible

Great spot for some Italian takeout! I ordered delivery via Caviar last week and got the spicy rigatoni. The sauce is Calabrian chili, cream, and Parmesan. The pasta was cooked al dente and the portion was huge. I actually asked for extra spicy and they definitely delivered! I look forward to trying out other items on the menu, as I'm sure other entrees are as delicious as the pasta!

Amazing gluten free pizza! Seriously the best I have ever eaten - putting this place on my regular rotation!

Pizza was excellent. I did not try the restaurant. But if the restaurant is as good as the pizza. I would try it.

Ordered the Angry Maria, Margarita and spicy penne pasta. Overall not bad, just not great. I would have preferred a vodka pasta if they had one. The pizzas were a little dry even when warmed. Not sure if we would come back, but glad we tried it regardless.

The sandwiches and loaded vodka fries I had were just OK, very greasy with no distinct flavor profile but you could tell good quality ingredients were used. More of my issue is with the portion sizes. They're sooo large, which I guess is fine if multiple people are eating but if it's just you it's not worth it to drop $50 on lunch to get portion sizes you can't really finish. Would've liked if they had 1/2 or 1/4 sized subs for half price. The only thing I got that I can say was objectively a stand out was the olive oil cake. Probably the best I've had, and there's a crispy caramelized layer on the top that makes for a nice crust. But overall I don't think I'd order again.

Insanely good. Was skeptical given the few reviews but the food was delicious. Will be ordering again and again.

Although the size was decent, the Chicken Parm hero was awful! They don't use real chicken, rubbery & chewy rib meat. Short rib lasagna tasted like overly cooked and reheated meat. Crispy ziti was tolerable. Food did arrive hot, only positive. Also got rainbow cookies but don't have the stomach to try them just yet. Hopefully they didn't ruin my favorite dessert.

Ordered delivery for Restaurant Week and was not disappointed! You get your choice of an entrée and a side (from a list of about 5) for $21. Food is delicious, ingredients are fresh, and portion size is very generous. Don't miss out on the rainbow cookies!

Not surprised the business hasn't claimed this Yelp profile. I recently ordered the New Yorker pizza and got TERRIBLE food poisoning. How you can screw up a pizza is beyond me. I will never be ordering from here again and strongly suggest no one order either. It's also far too expensive. Also terrible customer service.

The pizza is consistently delicious and is always delivered hot and on time! If you haven't tried the vodka pizza, you're missing out. It's unbelievable!

Ordered in last night and food came fast, warm, well packaged, and delicious! I got the Boscaiola Pasta with rigatoni - really loved it! It wasn't too creamy/heavy which is a plus and was comfort food Italian without being the traditional penne alla vodka/marinara since I wanted to switch it up. Tao group is always reliable :) I'll definitely be ordering again!

I ordered a vodka pIzza pie through Uber Eats and no driver was picking it up, so I called up and spoke to a lovely woman named Brenda who worked hard to resolve the issue, only for an Uber Eats driver to pick it up. She immediately called me back when she saw that! 5 stars for customer service! 5 stars for a delicious pie!! I'll definitely be ordering here again!!

Oh my God, Luchini Italian was simply cool. Clean and cute mood. Pretty much every menu item that we ordered was extra fresh and tasty. Staff is really pleasant and definitely will help you with anything. I can not wait to return to Luchini Italian.

I first ordered the gluten free pizza with very low expectations, as gluten free pizzas are usually disappointing...but this was SO good! Best gluten free pizza I've had in NYC. Makes me miss Pizzana in LA a little bit less. This place has now become a regular in my take out routine. Food always arrives extremely well packaged (sticker on pizza box for safety, napkins and other things in a stapled bag. Could not recommend this place more.

Got the vodka pizza, so good!!! They also gave us Calabrian Chile, red pepper & cheese on side. I never eat more than 1 slice & ate 3. So good

This is some of the best gluten free pizza I've had! It's deep dish, thicker crust, something I haven't had in years!
