Sunny New Parakeet Cafe Brightens the Work Week in Beverly Hills | Eater LA

"I see Lucifer’s Pizza has landed its fifth city location in Burbank at 3116 W. Magnolia Boulevard in the Magnolia Park area, with an opening slated for Wednesday, September 6; it will operate daily from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and sell regular and build-your-own pizzas, salads, sides, and spicy pizza options." - Farley Elliott

Pizza dough is raw. This pizza doesn’t even feel like it belongs to the Lucifer chain. It tastes more like something from a cheap pizza place, definitely not worth $35. The same pizza we ordered from the Studio City location was completely different: thinner crust, better tomato sauce, and cooked perfectly.

Ate here 7/22 Service was quick and friendly. Love the decor. It's very Halloweenesque We ordered a large Sicilian. Slight critique is what they consider Sicilian really isn't. A true Sicilian is rectangular and has very thick and airy crust. This is honestly a margherita pizza with meat on it. The pizza itself is fine and one of the better pizza places (altho so far nothing in Cali has touched pizza in NY). And as typical in the LA area the prices are on the more expensive side. 3.5/5

The service here is awful, at least today. The guy running the cash register is an absolute rude jerk. He took his sweet time acting like he was to busy to take our order. He wasn't doing anything, just pretending to be busy. The tables weren't even cleaned. The staff was incredibly slow and lazy. What a mistake it was to come here. 20 minutes wait for a small pizza. What a joke. The photos are of the only available tables. Filth. We already paid, so there's no going back. The music is garbage and too loud.

I had the cauliflower crust veggie pizza with the regular spicy sauce. It wasn’t that spicy for me! Next time I’m going to extra spicy. 🌶️ The pizza was delicious!

Really love this place when he first walk in the employees greet you which I love very nice and considerate. Heard about this place on TikTok. It did not disappoint. I had just a plain pepperoni pizza. My girlfriend had a similar one and she had the hot honey sauce on it definitely would recommend you guys come here. Plus they got a cool box and check out the surrounding stores when you’re in the area.

I had high hopes for this place because they offer only two sizes: personal and extra large. I figured there must be a reason for this—it must be a very popular spot. An extra-large pizza, with tax, costs nearly $30 out the door, and that is the smallest option available for more than one person. I admit that the crust is delicious. However, as shown in the picture, there was a strangely large chunk of tomato, which does not seem appropriate for a sauce—especially since I did not order tomato as a topping. I ordered a pepperoni pizza, yet some slices had only one piece of pepperoni, placed oddly. For this price point, I would expect extra-large pepperoni slices and at least a couple of pieces per slice. Based on my previous experiences at other places, the small pepperoni slices seem out of place for what I paid. That said, I really liked the crust, and the sauce was flavorful. I just was not a fan of the large tomato chunks, which felt excessive. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience but only worthy of three stars.

We were there during lunch times on a week day and the only people in the restaurant. Service was quite poor and we felt like we were in the way. Chairs were up on the table and no one up front so we asked if they were open. Got a simple yup, and had to wait a while for someone to take our order. The food was definitely made to order with good quality ingredients and nice crust. The wings are not sauced but do still have great flavor. Some of the skin was a bit flabby still but they were golden brown so maybe just cooked at too hot for too short? Flavors for all food were good but the service was so troubling, Id only recommend dine out or Uber eats.

I didn't want to do this but here I am. I have dined at Lucifers Pizza off of Hillhurst for some years. Everytime I have gone the workers are always so down to earth and welcoming. I went earlier this year and although there was literally like one worker at some point handling online/telephone orders, diners and walks ins all at once while still working the kitchen, he was still friendly and checked in with us to make sure everything was well. I was in Burbank and my three year old decided she wanted pizza for a later dinner. Lucifers popped up so we stopped by. Online it says they are open until 11pm. It was about 9:30pm when my party entered the restaurant. Multiple guys were behind the counter working. My husband said Hello and grabbed a menu. Not one person said a word. As we turned towards the booths, an older gentleman literally rushed to the tables to start placing chairs on top of them. My three year old was being cut off by this man and she was so confused as to what was going on. There was a family with a table full of food towards the end of the dining area. The man never said a word as he continued to rush getting those chairs up on the table. He was so cold. It was so rude. Not one person behind the counter said a word. My husband asked if they were closed for dining in and they said yes. But seriously WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT ABOUT? is it really so hard to say, "hello welcome, unfortunately we are closed for the night, no dining in but we can still take your order for take out?" The OPEN sign was still on. It was such an ugly experience. I will NEVER RETURN TO THIS LOCATION. Communication is key. That's all I have to say.
