Everything You Need To Know About Barbecue in Las Vegas | Eater Vegas

"With roots in Long Beach and a presence in the Las Vegas area (notably Green Valley Ranch and a location at Red Rock Resort), Lucille’s Smokehouse Bar-B-Que leans Southern while incorporating elements from other barbecue regions so diners can try Texas-style beef ribs and brisket alongside Carolina-style baby back ribs; baby back ribs are the biggest seller. The operation smokes meat in a dining room smoker for two to 24 hours using seasoned hickory logs (about half a cord of wood per week) and moves large volumes weekly—about 2,000 pounds of brisket, 2,000 pounds of chicken, 2,500 racks of ribs and 500 pounds of burnt ends—while going through roughly 500 gallons of Lucille’s Original BBQ Sauce each week. Popular sides include mac and cheese, honey-roasted peanut slaw and roasted garlic mashed potatoes (about 200 servings of each per day), and the kitchen bakes more than 1,000 homemade biscuits daily; combo platters let you sample baby back ribs, pulled pork, burnt ends, chicken or sausage, and the décor is meant to evoke a down-South, homey feel." - Eater Staff

I ordered delivery through Uber Eats and while the food did take longer than anticipated (over an hour by the time it arrived at my home), it was packaged well and tasted great. I had a relatively large order with several meals and sides, so I can understand needing the extra time during afternoon lunch. The presentation was top notch and everything looked beautiful. My salad was very fresh and had bright vegetables. The salmon was grilled perfectly; I would definitely order again. The biscuts and honey butter were filling and fluffy. All the sides were yummy, with generous serving sizes. The brisket did seem kind of dry, and it tasted fine, but I would have liked it to have more moisture. Overall, it was a really great meal and I’m super pleased and plan to order delivery again sometime soon!!

Disappointed in how bad the quality of food has fallen. Ordered food yesterday for Easter dinner from the Henderson location. I ordered the Tour of BBQ which stated that it would be enough to feed 4 people. Also ordered the brisket combo and chicken strip kids combo. Was quoted that food would be ready in 30 min. My wife arrived to find that the French fries were not in the bag and had to wait an extra 15 min for it. She gets home and we are missing all of the biscuits with our order. The brisket combo only had 5 dry pieces. The Tour of BBQ isn’t enough food as advertised. (Included pictures). I spoke with the manager over the phone. All he could do is take down my email and phone number and stated someone from corporate will reach out to me. Very disappointed because I have eaten at this location before and had no issues. Wife stated that the location was not busy at all so I wonder why things are missing and also why the quality is so bad. I included pictures to show the portions and lack of quality. Won’t ever go back or order from them again.

Overall, the whole experience was terrible. The atmosphere of the place showed what to expect. This place is dead in the water and they're barely afloat. I ordered a 3 Meat Platter for the WHOPPING price of $23. For $23, I expected a pretty good portion of 3 different meats of my selection. What came out was a few little pieces of Rib Tip, a very tiny portion of Brisket, and Bones with Barbecue Sauce on them. Those bones were supposed to be the St.Louis Ribs, it ended up being just bones covered in Barbecue Sauce. I could have went to Cracker Barrel or even to Burger King and gotten way more food than what was presented to me, and at a much more respective price. The server forgot to bring the Mashed Potatoes out and asked, "do you still want them?". WE PAYED FOR THE FOOD, YOU WILL GIVE US THE FOOD WE PAYED FOR. I told everyone in there, go somewhere else if you want Barbecue, this place was absolutely terrible, will not be back.

We took our family out for lunch today, and as always, it was an outstanding experience! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a warm and inviting ambiance, paired with an incredibly friendly staff that made us feel right at home. Our waitress, Amara, was absolutely amazing—attentive, efficient, and on top of everything! With a party of 10, we were impressed that not a single order was incorrect, no one had to wait, and every dish arrived hot and delicious. The food was exceptional, and the service was flawless. We couldn’t have asked for a better dining experience! Highly Recommend!!

I’m from Kansas City and this place is by far my favorite. Quality meat, made from scratch sides and I loved that spicy bbq sauce. Service is great as managers table touch throughout the meal. I’m glad I found such a great bbq place in vegas. Will return for sure.

** This is written by a pseudo European tourist (not used to sweetness and portion sizes) ** I ordered an appetizer of nachos with pulled pork, coke (refill), baby back ribs and brisket with 2 sides: mac and cheese + coleslaw. While waiting for the appetizer, I was served a complimentary basket of biscuits with some apple butter - In my humble (non American) opinion, the butter was too sweet and under salty, and the biscuits were too! Nachos and pulled pork were very very good - but the portion is crazy, I could feed a family of 4 with this dish. Baby back ribs were good, brisket was cold and not tender as it should have been, mac and cheese was under salty and too wet in my opinion, and the slaw was also not very balanced (too sweet, lacks salt, and there is a harsh taste of horseradish or mustard or something to do with vinegar). Service was perfect and very kind, atmosphere was chill and cozy as well.
