The food is delicious. I thought they would be a very meat focused restaurant but when I looked at the menu I was surprised with the vegan and vegetarian options. The sauce on the forager Hot plate was amazing normally the vinegar takes over but this was perfect and I loved the flavor of the mushrooms. We also got the Brutus salad. And it was amazing sauce and cashew parm, if you order both the rice is a good thing to add when munching. The service is good, They text you when the order is done and you buss your own table. I love the location and how the building looks inside and out.

A cute “fast causal” spot in Sisters that was super tasty. We stopped here during the quilt show and were extremely impressed. We ordered the pancakes (super fluffy), the “it’s all gravy” and “scout” burritos. The burritos were crispy, packed, and full of flavor. The restaurant was opened by their grandparents and seem to be continuing on the tradition of quality food and good people. Even though I won’t be needing it this trip, I loved the idea of providing hot camping kits for adventures. Bus your own table and be on your way!

After a beautiful hike on the Metolius, we came in for a burger, fries and beer. We had the Backpacker burger with huckleberry compote, blue cheese, and bacon! It was amazing. And the fries were delicious. Great, fast, friendly service in a cute spot that welcomes everyone. We’ll be back for the nachos and poutine!

We ordered the chicken basket and BBQ chicken wrap. Both were delicious! The dipping sauce for the chicken was delicious and the seasoning on the fries had a very slight sweetness that I really liked. The staff were super friendly. It was the perfect day to sit outside while we chow down!

Super disappointed. We were excited to come in and have dinner outside after a hike and liked their outdoor space and that they use local ingredients. The female at the counter was nice. Ordered one of their burgers and fries and my sister got the lumberjack. She said they would text us when the order was ready, so I gave them my number, which was verified, and sat outside to wait for food. It took 45+ minutes for them to remember that our food was ordered. We were confused. We only went in to inquire because people who had ordered well after us were receiving their food through the pass through window. I received no text or any sort of shout through the window that our food was ready. When they “found” our order, they gave us food that had sat in the boxes for long enough to get maximum sogginess. Like gross soggy. Homedude cooking clearly didn’t care, nor did he check the food. He sort of just randomly found our lost food and threw it into a to-go box. He didn’t say a word to me or acknowledge his mistake. What we received was soggy gross, greasy, tasteless food. The fries were too seasoned, but with no salt, so they were somehow dried out and flavorless. We totally understand that stuff happens, but it was not busy, they tried to pass off their poorly prepared food they forgot about and then insulted us by giving us this gross mess. I gave them a 20% tip, which brought the total to $54. So it feels even further insulting. This is the reason why I am writing a review, and the reason I will not return. Good food only goes so far if someone can’t prepare it properly. Ingredient were top notch, but the cooking, service and follow-through was bad. Not worth it.

Went for some hiking around Clear Lake and was famished and looking for a good place to eat. I’ve tried other burgers at other pubs in Sisters and have been pretty underwhelmed. Found this place based on the good reviews and decided to give it a go. The owner was the one running the place; super helpful and great service. Can’t wait to come back and continue to support Jackson and his business. He’s very good at what he does and prides himself in his food; you can taste the passion with each bite. It’s unfortunate I don’t live here or I would be eating these burgers weekly!

Jackson is a wonderfully kind and passionate guy running an amazing little food spot. The burgers were phenomenal and there are many gluten friendly/free options (including gluten free chicken tenders and fries). This will be a go to stop each time we are driving through sisters. Only regret was that I wasn’t able to try more menu items at once! The food is fantastic but the owner/customer service will be bringing us back.

I stopped here 40 min before closing, the two staff working there were amazing and friendly. I ordered the lumberjack and omg that was the most delicious brisket. Too bad don’t live near ! :(

I love everything about Luckey's Woodsman. Jackson is awesome. He's so friend and passionate about food and life! All of the entrees are amazing. I've been lucky enough to have his catering, too, and it is equally as good as the food in his brick and mortar. Every dish has a story. It's so refreshing to meet a young chef who's so prolific. Run don't walk to Luckey's Woodsman!

This place was a pretty good spot to grab lunch while traveling through Sisters. It's about 1 block off the main historic street. There's no AC inside, although they do have lots of fans going. It was empty when we happened to hit it (Friday for lunch). I ordered the Wildfire Wrap with tempeh (LOVE that they have both meat and vegetarian options for a lot of the dishes) and my partner got the Backpacker's Delight burger. My partner said it was a solid burger. Delicious berry compote and cheese made it very tasty. The Wildfire wrap was SPICYYYYY (which is what I like!). I love spicy food and saw it had a little fire sign next to it on the menu. Generally most restaurants don't actually make stuff too spicy ---- just a heads up that this one is actually fire! Has some ghost pepper cheddar, roasted jalapeños, and a habañero aioli. It KICKS. It was delicious, unexpectedly spicy in a good way, and I had to take a break halfway through to let the spice calm down. So beware if you only foray into spice a little bit! Only thing I thought was odd was that the worker that took our order needed a phone number and my name to text me when our order was ready....in a dead empty restaurant. Kind of odd. Now I need to unsubscribe from texts most likely. I also wish we could have gotten the side of fries without so much seasoning. I love my seasonings and flavors, but this was too much. I could only eat a few fries and it hurt to throw them in the bin.

Such a unique spot given its wide array of thoughtfully crafted food. Nice selection of beer and friendly staff. Plus, hosts great live music. It's a local go-to!

Incredible burgers! Everything in Sisters tastes great, must be the mountain air and the sweet community here! Lucky's Woodsman has been around since 1956, but they're serving delicious modern flavors with their unique blend of burgers. The Backpackers Delight burger, truffle fries and pesto dipping aioli sauce is my recommendation. Enjoy!

We had 2 different hot boxes: lumberjack and the Sasquatch. Delicious and healthy. Amazing flavors and local beer. Will definitely be back soon!

Not your typical burger joint. Had some interesting choices do tried the Backpacker Delight. Tasty but messy. Truffle fries light on the truffle oil but Pesto Aioli was nice addition. Key lime pie was light and delicious. Service was pleasant and ambiance was good although seating is unusual. Two large tables with stools that every one shares and then a smaller table

Deliciously sloppy burgers. Easy to forget to chew it's so good. Great staff too! The interior vibe is cool and outdoor setup is nice in the warmer months. Happy to support these guys.

Food here is always immaculate, the atmosphere is SUPERB (music is always great and the friendliest, chillest staff ever!!!) my favorite place and always try to stop by here, as much as possible when visiting!!

This restaurant not only has amazing food, the service for catering is impeccable. They catered a wedding rehearsal dinner & Jackson, the Owner, had excellent communication with us & was super flexible w the menu & pricing. Our event was at Pole Creek Ranch in Sisters & we're from Salem. He went to the venue beforehand & made sure his team knew exactly how things should be set up & 2 of his top employees set up & monitored the buffet the entire time. They packaged up all leftovers afterwards & were very professional. Everyone raved about the food! Top quality, classy operation. Highly recommend!

Almost immediately after walking in, a greeting was extended from behind the grill, nice! Although he was busy, he said he'd be right with us. It was our 1st time in, so we needed a few minutes anyway. Our orders were fresh, tasty & cooked to order. I had the Home Grown burger (medium rare) with truffle fries. The whiskey onions were delicious on the burger & the truffle fries were perfectly seasoned, crispy on the outside & soft in the middle. We chose to sit outside, however there is plenty of indoor seating with air conditioning. I'll be back to try another menu item!

I just went here for the first time last week. I was pleased to see several vegetarian options. The prices were very reasonable and the service was great. I am a local and will be visiting again soon.

Wandered in while walking streets of Sisters for the first time. This place is fantastic. The menu is simple, but unique, and the flavor and quality of the food is outstanding. Service was excellent Saturday mid-afternoon! And while we didn't engage in any conversation with him, our favorite part may have been listening to the owner, Jackson, share his personal insight and local perspectives - as a native of the region - with inquiring customers. TOTAL local feel, and 100% I will visit again when back in or through Sisters. If the restaurant was in a slightly more visible location with better exterior curb appeal the line to enter would be a mile long. LOVED it.

We just stopped in for lunch and it was fabulous! I had the Wanderlust Wrap, and it was so flavorful. My husband was happy with Forager dish. Really loved it all!

Their signature Camper Nachos are absolutely delicious. So many different flavors in their light queso sauce, arugula aioli, carnitas, beans, pico, and cotija. I think they might be the best nachos I have ever had! The staff were very welcoming. Casual atmosphere for all ages. I was there in the winter but a Great place to sit outside in the summer.

Dream beans. Divine burgers. Looking forward to seeing them move to a Sisters venue with character befitting the food and service. Also, a full bar would be nice.

The food was good but didn't feel amazing or anything special especially for the price. Everything was kinda thrown onto a small plate which was fine but just didn't seem to be as appealing. $6 for tiny tiny sides maybe 3 bites worth. The service was decent but not anything spectacular. Very casual feel to the place. I'd probably give it 4 stars if the price felt better fitting to the experience and taste of food. However, it did not seem to fit the price.

This might be the most under-rated restaurant in sisters! The burgers are to die for, the staff is super cool, and this place is overall a good time. I appreciate that they ask how you want your burgers cooked. Breakfast burritos are also bomb

This place was AMAZING!!! My friend and I split the Expedition Wrap and truffle fries. IT WAS FANTASTIC!!! The person who took our order was super nice and helped us to decide what to order. I will be returning for sure!!!

This place had great food and varied options, the breakfast burritos were top notch. The take away camper meals look and sound delicious although we don't try them. It's an order at the counter type of spot with lots of tables in and outdoors.

One of the best burgers that I have ever had. I have the Woodsman burger with truffle fries and pesto aioli. All were outstanding. My wife wanted something spicy and opted for the Munch Wrap Supreme. Had really good heat without overshadowing the burger. Service was quick and attentive. The environment fit the vibe of the restaurant. This is our new favorite lunch spot in Sisters. Living only about an hour away, we will be back very soon. Total cost for 2 adults, fries and non-alcoholic beverages was around $55 dollars before tip.

We ordered online for a later pickup time, which is a nice option. The burgers we had were the best we've had in a long time g time. Everything we ready when it was supposed to be. The truffle fries tasted more like BBQ than truffle, ut were still good. Not a lot of ambiance, since it's mostly take out, although there are a few tables.

Several friends have been raving about Luckey's Woodsman, and particularly about their nachos. My wife and I finally tried it today and it did not disappoint. Sooo good! The nachos were amazing, but more like mountain outdoor nachos than Mexican. We also shared a bacon cheeseburger, which was delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the place was immaculate. We even enjoyed the mountain style music in the background. A fun, delicious experience. We'll be back.

This is our favorite place in Sisters. We have been here many times and have loved everything. The crunchwrap burger is one of my favorites but I've liked it all so far. I really appreciate that there is an online ordering option for quick pick up! And that breakfast burritos are served all day. Burritos are big and nicely priced as well. Only $12 with the early bird special before 10 am! The staff are always friendly and accommodating and the owner is always involved and cares. We will continue to be steady customers!

Wonderfully gourmet fare without being pretentious! Great selection of beers, the truffle fries are unbelievable, and the burger was great. The restaurant is casual, but that means it is perfect for a stop after a day on the trails.

We demolished a "Home Grown" burger and cooked to perfection fries. This place is the real deal. Don't miss it!

If you haven't tried Luckey's Woodsman then you have no idea what you are missing. The food is amazing and a delightful change from a lot of places I have been. The Mountain Nachos are a must try! The staff is just as great as the food so it's a win all the way around!

Awesome food, all locally sourced, something for everyone, which is awesome. Great service and they really care about how you are enjoying your meal. A must stop place in Sister's. Especially this spring/summer when you can sit outside and enjoy beautiful central Oregon in there large grass, picnic table area. You won't be disappointed.

We came here for Saturday brunch and it was SO good!! The huevos rancheros were delicious and protein packed, and my fiancé loved his burrito bowl. The service here is prompt and friendly, sitting out on the lawn on a sunny day was the icing on the cake. A must try spot for breakfast and brunch in sisters!

Had the best burger I've had in a very long time. My husband and I split the burger and we both wished we had gotten our own. The Cajun fries were delicious as well. Service was good, and the place looked clean. I do recommend this place.

A good friend of mine and I decided to try "Luckey's Woodsman" (Okay, first thing; 1) Who was/is "Lucky"? 2) Who is this, "Woodsman", with whom he/she/"they", have such a culinary fondness for? The name raises many questions and draws many possible - perhaps even amorous - conclusions) one weekend and we ordered a couple of their cheeseburgers; she, their basic burger and I, the "Woodsman". We also ordered a small order of their regular fries. She went over to pick them up and pay for them and returned quickly. As soon as she walked through the front door with the food, I could smell the deliciousness coming from the boxed burgers and fries; when I bit into my burger, it was delightful! Also, when we ordered, we were asked how, "done", we wanted our burgers, "Well Done", "Medium", "Medium Rare" or "Rare"; I chose "Medium Rare" and it was cooked, perfectly! My friend loved her burger as well. And the fries were also done perfectly AND were wonderfully spicy! Since then, I've ordered online from them twice more and have never been disappointed, EXCEPT for the fact that their online ordering form offers curbside delivery, but they don't actually do that; that's (I found out the hard way and was very disappointed) something the management of "Luckey's Woodsman" should eliminate, if they aren't actually going to offer that considerate service!

Much Wrap Supreme burger was absolutely amazing!!! Perfect Heat. They warned me that it could be spicy. They nailed it. My wife got the nachos, so we got best of both worlds.

So we gave another week hoping that they would come back to the first time we did visit. No luck! Our orders got worse! Last time was today. We got a cheese burger and Brussel sprouts $33.00! Burger was completely overcooked and there were 6 half slices of Brussel sprouts. Waste of money! I don't care where they get their meat! As far as offering to deliver.. Didn't happen! I get that you want to defend your establishment but while you were talking the time to write this lengthy rebuttal.... You could have been thinking about how to offer your customers better food! Cooked properly!

My family had a recent wedding reception in Sunriver & Luckey's provided our food. Everyone LOVED it! Everything was great - the Beans, Mac & Cheese, Brisket, Chicken, Brussel sprouts, and rice were fantastic! Jackson was so easy to work with and provided everything we needed to set-up our buffet. I would highly recommend Luckey's Woodsman for catering and their Nachos and burgers in their Sisters restaurant are excellent!

Basic spot with counter service. Creative menu. Tasty food, with creative chef's flair prepared with passion for quality. Friendly service. Worth a visit. Would come back.

wow..Sisters hit the jackpot with Lucky Woodsman coming to town. We shared the Woodsman burger and truffle fries. Definitely a hit!

The food options were different than my usual go to menus. It's more vegan or "clean" food. We tried their Sasquatch bowl and surprisingly it was good to me! Loved their rice and the sauce they used on it. We also ordered their truffle fries with mango habanero aoli sauce. The sauce was so good. The truffle part was very mild. You probably could just order a regular order of fries and still be good.

Thanks for the explantion. We'll come back some day and give it another try during the week.

Delicious food, very reasonable prices! I had an order of nachos for lunch and it was so good I decided to order some poutine to take home for dinner.
