"This Charlotte Pike strip mall spot has long been a local favorite. Lucky Bamboo China Bistro’s cold Sichuan appetizers like mala beef tendon and sliced beef tripe are solid choices, as are the Peking duck and mapo tofu." - Eater Staff

Had a great meal and you can tell this is freshly cooked. This is my go to spot for Boneless almond chicken, and he does it both ways. Heavy breaded like Michigan and the traditional way. This is a must try if you are looking for a great meal. Also if you do not k ow what you want, talk to Jack tell him you don't know what you want and he will make something special for you.

We went there for lunch on a Friday and the place was empty. To me that is not a good sign, but we still had lunch. The waiter was very nice and attentive. The food was delicious. We ordered an abundance of food which is why our lunch was so costly. We like to order too much so we can have more to eat for dinner. We are not from west Nashville but if we are ever back in the area, we would definitely have lunch again at this establishment. The staff were friendly and they even let one of my friends use their bathroom. That is a tongue in cheek comment referring to another person's review. The only issue I had (and I see this a lot in establishments) is the table top we sat at was sticky. That would not be enough reason to make me not want to go back. If you are ever in the area please give them a try.

Google
The food was excellent. We had the general tso's chicken, scallion pancakes, pork fried rice, & dim sum. It was all really good.

Google
A great experience, first time having Peking duck and it was great. I also had the mango fruit tea which was delicious. My only complaint is I wish they would heat up the duck before serving, it was cold.

Google
I was hopeful going here, because they had recently been named best of their category by a the local magazine, but unfortunately they did not meet expectations. Started with the appetizer tidbits platter which came with egg rolls, short ribs, beef skewers, chicken skewers and "crab" rangoon. Short ribs were covered in a sauce akin to ketchup. Beef skewer so over cooked it was tough to bite through and chew. NO crab in the rangoons - just filled with overly-sweetened cream cheese. For entrees got the Peking duck and vegetarian spicy garlic eggplant. Ordered a full duck portion and was disappointed in the amount of meat for the price, plus it was dry. One positive, the eggplant dish was very tasty. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere with a koi pond and tasteful decor, but I can't say I'll be back.

Google
I was worried about the low ratings but I am SO GLAD I CAME!! the owner lady who works there is very sweet, she answered all our questions about the authentic Chinese dishes and gave us recommendations. I loved the mapo tofu here, it’s spicy and delicious, so perfect for a winter meal. I will definitely be coming back to try more dishes! We also tried the scallion pancake and veggie dumplings, they were tasty but a little on the oilier side. The entrees are where it’s at!!!

Google
This place does most of its business in orders I think based on the set up inside. I can see why. The food is great and the service was also amazing. They had fish to keep the kids entertained and even gave the kids food to feed them. Was nice of them. I would definitely urge people to support this place and definitely go next-door to the grocery store. It’s one of a kind. We will definitely be coming back here to eat many many more times the food was just so good and we ordered so much of the different things I couldn’t even specifically say which one was the best. But it was all really authentic and really good.

Google
This place is so delicious. I’ve had it twice now and both times has been amazing. The braised beef soup and the soup dumplings are absolutely great as well as the orange chicken. The pineapple orange tea is delicious as well. The staff was nice and took care of us without over bothering us. Highly recommend this place.

Yelp
This has always been my favorite restaurant for authentic Chinese food in Nashville. The owners/managers were always very warm and friendly. I loved the cup of tea while waiting for takeout, the advice on dishes, the fish pond and lovely plants. The restaurant is closed. The K & S Market next door had no information. There is a sign on the door, but it is in Chinese. I hope all is well with the owners/managers and that they have decided to take a well deserved rest. I will miss you! Wishing you luck, Cynthia

Yelp
It's been a while since I grabbed carry-out from Lucky Bamboo, but I decided to give them another go as we'd be passing by the area at the right time and were in the mood for some Chinese takeout. Nashville gets a lot of flak from foodies for not having a lot of choice when it comes to quality Chinese takeout, but Lucky Bamboo seems to receive mostly good reports. I placed my order online (which utilizes the "Q" menu feature) and selected our carryout time. Note--if you're using your phone for this feature, you may miss the extra "zip code" box by your credit card entry particularly if it autosaves as that portion doesn't usually save. Anyway, I've always found them to be a bit higher than most carryout places, but this time around that was compounded by the fact that the portions were miniscule in comparison. Particularly for the sweet and sour--and maybe this was a weird fluke of the ordering process? So--you add the "sweet and sour" meal to your cart then select whether you want chicken, shrimp, or tofu. Then there's a box where you can "add" shrimp for an additional 2.00. Then you pick your variety of rice. So, I ordered the sweet and sour chicken, added shrimp (thinking this would add a couple of s/s shrimp), and selected fried rice. My sweet and sour meal came with a handful of shrimp, no chicken. So in effect I subbed shrimp for chicken at a 2.00 upgrade and got less than I would have had I just ordered s/s shrimp. Half of my box was made up of sliced bell pepper and onion. The rice was fine, but honestly the least impressive fried rice I've had in years. All in all, we received a decent meal with a little bit of leftovers (having planned on making two full meals per person out of this order) for $60 after taxes, fees, and tip. The meal would have been okay had I paid $30. In short, half as good as I remember it for twice the price and half the quantity.

Yelp
Lucky Bamboo is our go to Chinese restaurant. They have yummy authentic food for a decent price and large portions. They also serve dim sum on some days. Our favorites are the orange chicken extra crispy and their chicken corn soup which I don't think is on the menu anymore but you can still order it. Their steamed sea bass in ginger scallion sauce is delicious. When we get dim sum we like the shrimp noodle, siomao, steamed pork bun and sesame balls. They also have an area in the back for large groups. She even gave us egg tarts for dessert to try.

Isabella B.

Yelp
Loved the service! The people there seem a teeny bit understaffed but kind regardless. My phone was low on battery and they even lent me their charger THE FOOD... The reason I had to dock it a star. The rice crepe (Cheung Fun) with shrimp in it was great, but it was just drenched in too much sauce for me to fully enjoy it. I believe it is also served separate or with less of the sauce traditionally. I wish there was an option to separate it, haha THE AMBIENCE... reminds me of visiting rainforest cafe, in the best way possible. They have those little fountains and beautiful decor and such fun lighting! Plus there's plug ports underneath each of the booths which came in handy in a jiffy. Definitely one of the more authentic dim sum places you can get in Nashville. Especially with their variety of regional Chinese dishes re: Cantonese & some Uyghur dishes. Satiated the neighboring central Asian foodie in me :)

John W.

Yelp
Not many delicious Chinese options in Nashville, but this one was always special. The service is friendly, the food is great, and the environment feels magical with the fresh plants, the epic panda mural, and the active coy pond.

Terry T.

Yelp
I ordered the crispy fried pork belly and was a bit disappointed. The food looked great, but upon biting into it, it was barely warm and had to ask for it to be heated. Waited about 10 minutes for them to microwave it. Not sure what the delay was, but tasted better after warming. As for the taste, it was crispy and the sauce helped to add more flavor and balance than just biting into a chunk of fried pork belly. Also had the green tea bubble tea, which was good. The tapioca texture was very soft and different from what I'm used to. Order for 2 people came out to $51. Overall, not bad not great.

Caleb W.

Yelp
Always good food and good value. Owners are fantastic kind folk! Love order for pick up..

Walter C.

Yelp
It's not amazing but on the scale of delivery Chinese food in Nashville it's 4 out of 5 stars. I've ordered from here a dozen times and it's always spicy and delicious. This is our family go-to for delivery Chinese food. Stick to the classics and you will be satisfied.

Angie M.

Yelp
I ordered Twice Cooked Pork but what I got was disappointing to say the least. I know what goes in it so don't try to give me cabbage with pork like I don't know! That was not Twice Cooked Pork.

Kimie T.

Yelp
Best authentic Chinese food in Nashville. Super busy on Christmas day, but we ordered on line for pick up & it was ready at the time we requested, otherwise wait time was an hour for a table. Everything was delicious & even better as left overs. Fried rice was so-so but the duck & everything else was excellent.

Kin C.

Yelp
They serve authentic Chinese food, with Taiwanese taste or Szechuan taste. Comfortable dining experience near Nashville. Will go back if travel near the area.

Jared M.

Yelp
#fatjared say...Authentic, fast, tasty, unique, and great service, Unfortunately not a perfect experience, but we had a lot of fun coming here and I would go back. Couple of things to start with. First, to get a 5 star review from me you have to give me a perfect experience. Why? Because 5 stars on Yelp is as good as it gets, hence it is perfect, and perfect means no complaints. Also, my wife grew up in SouthEast Asia, so she really knows the food and I was able to benefit from her ordering! You can see from the photos the menu is huge. They have a lot of options, and suit any kind of palate you could have as far as flavors you like. This is definitely authentic food. The inside feels like you're at an inside/outside eating area, with covered tables, and terrace tables. The standout was the Bok Choy. Order as much as you can eat. Not only is it good for you but by far the tastiest Bok Choy I have ever had. Dumplings were definitely made fresh, everything steamed in cool little metal steamers, and while some might not like it, I LOVE the serving sizes because you get to try A LOT of things. There were a few dishes that are not shown (sorry I can only upload 10 pics and wanted yall to see the menu), but just weren't good. We were expecting a certain thing, and it was not expected nor did it taste good. Stick with the basics, the steamed dumplings, pork gyoza, and try not to get too crazy with the options, because it can be overwhelming and lead to an under average order. Overall, if you are looking for authentic chinese food, and a fun time, give this place a try. It is tucked away in it's own little Asian area of Charlotte, and totally worth it price and taste wise.

Kelly S.

Yelp
The food is very yummy. They seem a little understaffed, but it was a holiday so understandable. I love the variety of food offered. I wish the meal was timed a little better with the appetizers and the entrees, but overall very good. Our server was incredibly funny and kind. I love the pond in this restaurant. We were sat in the very back by the stage - hopefully, next time we will be up near the front and the koi fish.

Steven R.

Yelp
My previous review was done during the onset of Covid and I think it was due to poor distribution of goods because they were out of many items. This is my second visit within the past month and their food is outstanding! The garlic eggplant, Bok Choy, Mee Goreng and Sichuan Green Beans are delicious. I'm so happy I gave this place another try! The gentleman running the front is very nice! I highly recommend this place for authentic Chinese food you will find on both coasts.

Robyn J.

Yelp
Amazing dim sum! You order from a menu and they bring it to you- was mostly pretty quick except they forgot the soup so we didn't get to try that one. Shrimp dumplings, Chongqing chicken, green beans, stuffed eggplant- all delicious. Will be back!

Kate R.

Yelp
I always love the dim sum here, but we decided to make the trek to Nashville for some good Chinese on Christmas and they didn't disappoint. There was a bit of a wait, but that is to be expected anywhere that is open on Christmas. Food was delicious as usual and the staff was literally running around trying to get everyone their food as soon as possible. Can't wait to come back again soon!

Natalie L.

Yelp
Probably one of the only places in Nashville to get real authentic Chinese food. They have a very diverse menu with plenty of protein options. I got takeout and the owner was very nice and even threw in a few crab rangoons. I ordered the seafood tofu soup, beef chow fun and the beef dry pot. They have decent portion sizes and the all the food was delicious. However, I felt that the beef dry pot was very numbingly spicy - which some people do like! I will note that we tried to order online through their website and it kept saying "we are not taking orders right now" even though we double checked their hours and they were in fact open. I ended up calling in the order and that worked fine. Overall, this is an excellent place to get Chinese food and I will definitely be coming back. I am also looking forward to trying their dim sum, which they offer on weekends.

Rachel G.

Yelp
A 3.5 Birthday Celebration Spot. We ordered enough for a small army, but a good variety. The dim sum is likely pre made, but it was good. - Green Tea - Veggie Egg Roll - Crab Rangoon - Appetizer with Dumplings - Chicken and Cilantro Dumplings - Sweet and Sour Chicken - Orange Chicken - Orange Beef - Honey Walnut Shrimp - Dry Sautéed Green Beans - Broccoli Delight - Crispy Pork Belly I said a small army. The stars of the show (that I ate) were the Green Beans, Egg Rolls, Chicken & Cilantro Dumplings and Honey Walnut Shrimp. It was all good nothing was new and exciting, but a great to go and have lots to share. We all ran out of drinks about half way through and it was an absolute act of congress. The the staff is not super friendly. And the restroom was sketchy.

Coddy A.

Yelp
First time trying Lucky Bamboo.  Always like to start with the positive. We were welcomed and seated quickly.  Everyone was super friendly, and service was very attentive, with some overlap and multiple people tried to help us. Orders were taken quickly, and food served quickly as well.  Cold food cold, hot food hot.   The decor is what you would expect from your typical no frills Chinese restaurant complete with a large Coy pond in the middle of the restaurant. They offer Dim Sum, but it was brought from the back, not via roaming Dim Sum carts.  There is an "authentic" Chinese menu, along with the regular westernized fare.   We started with the Cold Sesame noodles.  The flavor was good with a bit of spicy heat.  It was followed by General Tso chicken.  Here the sauce really made the dish. The breading was thick, and without extra sauce was a bit bland.  Lastly, the sweet Sesame Balls which iare actually why we came.  The balls were smaller in diameter than what we've seen elsewhere.  They were brown and toasted.  The upside is they weren't as oily as we've had. Overall average. This restaurant is a little out our way, but had high hopes given the reviews. Overall we were indifferent and ranked it only average.

Fifi L.

Yelp
Yes: Peking duck, Sichuan noodle soup, crispy green beans and crispy pork belly Eh: soup dumplings and bao The service can be a little slow due to staffing but they are friendly. A table near us was rude to the older female server - check your attitude at the door people. If you can't, cook at home.

Nick R.

Yelp
Unfortunately the food just wasn't that good. Service was good but the food lacked in many ways.

Erin S.

Yelp
We had a party of 7 on a Sunday night. There was no wait! Here's what we got: - Egg Drop Soup: Good - Sesame Chicken: Tasted okay, but there was barely any meat. It was just fried pieces. We got it with fried rice and the fried rice was just blah - Orange Chicken: Tasted bland, but at least it had actual chicken - Sesame Tofu: Fine - Cashew Chicken: Good - General Tsao's Tofu: Very bland The portions are big. You can easily split one dish between two people. The food was really lacking though. They do have a whole section on their menu for authentic Chinese food. Maybe that's what they're known for, so perhaps you should stick to that section if you choose to dine here. The service was great. They took good care of us!

Mia Y.

Yelp
UPDATES: We are definitely WOWed by their service! Everyone was so on top of their tasks! BEST service we have had in that area!!!!!! for the servers! It's our first time here and we liked it! Super friendly staff. Prices for dim sum were cheap but the portions were decent. Two of us could barely finish those. Plenty of parking spots right outside of the restaurant. Did I mention the interior is amazing!!! They have panda and bamboo mural paintings on the wall. There is also a little fountain in the middle of the restaurant. It's a really special place and would be good to take friends and families over.

Doug G.

Yelp
So I officially came by and dined-in with a few friends and while the food portion of my review remains fairly similar, the overall visit shined a new light on this place! First, if you have never been inside, do yourself a favor and pop in to pick up food, if dine-in isn't your thing! From the sidewalk to the backroom, Lucky Bamboo is an actual vibe. The shopping center they are located in is a relic of the past and is not in the greatest of shape, and is stuck in the 90's for the most part...Lucky Bamboo follows suit and remains in this decade with décor, seating, artwork, etc...The space is quite large, but they have a massive koi pond in the middle of the dining room which is surrounded by tables plus booths that line the wall. But it doesn't stop there...if you peek behind the beach themed divider walls, you will find a whole event space with linen draped from the ceiling and walls, a dance floor, tables lined with red solo cups and....a freaking disco ball! While we were eating, an event was kicking off here and to be honest, I was a little jealous. I may or may not be planning my next birthday party here. As mentioned, service was spot on from entry to exit. The server was great, the food runner was helpful and the owners were great! Food wise, we got the usual items plus a few pieces of dim sum. The pan fried dumplings were excellent and the Sesame Chicken was the surprising start of the meal! Overall, Lucky Bamboo is still not my go-to for delivery, but it is definitely worth a visit on occasion, especially when we have visitors!

Norith S.

Yelp
I WAS A REGULAR CUSTOMER UNTIL TONIGHT. The FOOD MAKES YOU SICK. Maybe it won't matter to you, but you should read this. We spent $100 tonight and all the food was refried from left overs, including the pork. It was OLD and remade. And they know me, I'm a regular. We wound up throwing away half the food, and I hate throwing away food... but this makes you feel sick, no joke. EAT AT YOUR OWN RISK. Don't say I didn't warn you.

Clover Z.

Yelp
Went there with my husband for the CNY dinner. To our surprise the food tastes amazing, can't get any closer to the traditional Chinese flavor. Service was a bit slow on the CNY eve but still reasonable, plus the food worth the wait! Overall good experience we will definitely comeback for other dishes. We ordered 1) Xiao Long Bao, 2) half serving of Peking Duck and 3) Sichuan soupy style fish fillet. Xiao Long Bao - it's thinner skin Xiao Long Bao with the south China flavored fillings. Peking Duck - be aware this was served with buns rather than thin wraps. Sichuan soupy style fish fillet - big fish fillet with cabbage and spicy sauce base, goes well with white rice. We plan to try the beef next time!

Mia L.

Yelp
Ordered crispy pork belly, thinking the order comes with rice I didn't order an extra side or rice. The order comes to my table, the first thing is that took 30 minutes for the order to be served, second I didn't get rice, and the most important thing the pork belly had hair! I asked the waiter if thats how it cones and he said yes, the pork belly will always have hair I said well you are wrong in other places that I have ordered pork belly I gave never gotten any hair. I didn't eat my pork belly, the whole plate was left untouched. My kids ordered pork buns, they never arrived. Will never come back, I saw very good reviews but my experience wasn't the best.

Kelsey E.

Yelp
We came on a Saturday night around 6:30pm and there was no wait. We were seated at a booth by the panda mural much to our excitement! And listened to the peaceful fountain sounds that permeated the restaurant. Our waiter greeted us with fried wonton strips + sweet and sour sauce. We ordered the vegetable egg rolls, the country tofu, and combination soup noodle. The tofu had a bit of a funny flavor to it, but the rest was enjoyable. Bonus perk was the post-dinner stop at K&S Market right next door!

Daniel T.

Yelp
I dined at Lucky Bamboo China Bistro on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at noon for dim sum. This Chinese restaurant is probably one of the very few restaurants that offers dim sum in the Nashville area. I've read a lot of mixed reviews that made me hesitant about dining here, but as a big dim sum enthusiast, I had to give it a shot. I thought the interior design looked nice, but the dining tables and chairs appeared old and needed some updating to liven up the ambience. The koi pond in the center and sound of the water brought a sense of calmness and serenity in the dining area, which I found to be refreshing. Unfortunately, this restaurant didn't look like they bring in enough customers during peak weekend lunch hours (possibly due to COVID pandemic or reputation) to be pushing the dim sum carts. Overall, I thought the food quality was average at best. At face value, the food looked dull and lackluster compared to other dim sum restaurants I've been to. Flavor-wise, some dishes tasted okay while others didn't have a lot flavor and excitement. Service needed improvements. Considering the half empty dining area, I didn't expect service to be slow. It took a long time for someone to come take our order and for the food to come out; it almost felt like we were forgotten. With that being said, the food was definitely not worth the wait.

Soumare B.

Yelp
We went with Family & friends for Dim Sum on a Saturday afternoon. The service, food and pricing were EXCELLENT! They even let me feed the fish in the pond. It was a lovely experience. It's Authentic Chinese Food and service with a smile.

Chom A.

Yelp
I don't know why there are a lot of bad reviews. The food was so good. Services met my expectations. The dim sum was legit and authentic. The pork shui mai tasted exactly like what I got at China Town in Thailand when I was young. It is the taste of my childhood. The restaurant was clean and well decorated. The main course I ordered was fantastic and delicious. Everything was exceptional and outstanding. I will definitely come back with family and friends and I more than 100% recommend open-minded people to come and dine here.

Kenzie S.

Yelp
There was a giant bug in my soup dumplings and we pointed it out and no one apologized or a addressed it. They didn't give us a discount after we asked for it and paid full price. They brought us new dumplings almost 30 minutes later that we paid for and it took us 30 minutes for anyone to come by and get the check. We had to go to the front to get checked out bc no one came to check on us. The worst restaurant experience of my life. Unclean kitchen with a big bug in our food and hair in one dish. When they finally brought out the new soup dumplings they were cold and clearly the same dumplings from the first time in a new container. Don't eat here unless you want horrible service and bugs and hair in your dish.

Josie B.

Yelp
They are just so sweet here! Walked in with no reservation and was seated right away. The decor was beautiful and we were seated right next to the indoor koi fish pond. I'm a very picky eater so I can't say much about the food but I was a big fan of the wonton soup and the crab Rangoon's were a big hit at our table.

Lia B.

Yelp
i wish we had found this restaurant sooner! obsessed with the mongolian styled tofu -- so happy there are so many variations of veg options compared to other restaurants in nashville.

Tony G.

Yelp
We were looking for a restaurant that served traditional "americanized" chinese dishes, you know, orange chicken, chow mein, kung pao, etc. This place appeared to be one of the few in the area so we tried it, BIG mistake. The food is terrible, it was so bad we literally took 1 bite of each item. We got up and paid the bill and left. The lady at the front asked if we wanted boxes, we said no. They could see that we barley touched the food het did not offer to remove the charges. I was going to tell them we were not paying and just leave but we were so disgusted with the entire experience we just paid for their garbage and left.

Jarrett D.

Yelp
I have to agree with Alan W. "The Dim Sum was good not like NYC or SanFran but for Nashville. Really good." Overall this is a great spot for Chinese food. They have a good variety of options for people looking for either authentic Chinese or Americanized. We probably got four orders of the soup dumplings, those are great. I had the beef brisket clay pot with daikon, which was pretty good. Relatively solid spot overall - this is definitely a place I'd recommend.

Person X.

Yelp
Food was raw, and service was questionable. They forgot an order entirely and we ended up with food poisoning.

Alan W.

Yelp
The Dim Sum was good not like NYC or SanFran but for Nashville. Really good. The rice noodles stuffed with shrimp or Chinese bbq pork were the highlight. The turnip cakes were tasty and the chicken feet was as well. Yes. Chicken. Feet. Black bean sauce. It's an acquired taste and you should try it. The beef noodles(the wide ones) are really good. I need a bit more heat and maybe more sweet soy but it was pretty spot on. I'll be returning.

Bill S.

Yelp
While being the only dim sum place that pops up in Nashville, the food is quite undesirable. Service is decent but can not overcome the food.

Aubrey J.

Yelp
This is easily the best Chinese food in Nashville in my opinion...but I don't know if that's saying much because all the food I've had in Nashville so far hasn't been good. We got the Pork Steamed Dumpling - well done, sauce tasty. Scallion Pancake is awesome. The Kung Pao Gyoza is easily our favorite. The sauce on those is amazing. We basically dip everything in it. Also got the Dumplings in Hot Oil...ehhh would probably skip. A lot of noodle, not much meat. For something a little heavier we get the General Style entree with beef. I believe it is breaded to get it a bit crunchy. If you're expecting a beef texture, this is not it. But the flavor is good regardless. Service is quick and to the point. Inside the restaurant is best when there's not a giant party in the back room. Love the cloud roof thing over the booths. And I intend to go pet the koi after I finish this. Yay!

Stephen S.

Yelp
Lovely, worth a 2hr drive. Wish we had dim sum in Knoxville. 5 stars will eat again!!

Kira L.

Yelp
I feel bad to leave a bad review but my friend and I are actually astounded by how bad this was.. We actually couldn't eat it. We got the hot and sour soup, veg dumplings, and yellow curry. We're headed to black dynasty now to wash our taste buds

Rong W.

Yelp
No clue why people rated it so low. We had such an amazing experience. New to Nashville, exploring authentic Chinese food. And we found this gem! Ordered spicy numb dry pot, spicy fish, and garlic eggplant clay pot. Everything was great! This is not a place to get cheap Chinese food; but a place to have a real Chinese cuisine experience! The service was great too. Would definitely be a regular here! :)

Bryan V.

Yelp
me and my husband waited for 30 minutes no one came to even ask us for the drinks or anything. a Other couple walk in before us and serve them, I don't know if it's because were Mexican or what but worst experience we have ever got from a restaurant

Sydney H.

Yelp
This is our favorite neighborhood Chinese! Everything is reliably good, but we especially like the Chongqing chicken, scallion pancakes, veggie fried rice, and dim sum offerings. The owners are so friendly and treat us like family. Support local restaurants and tip well!

Joanna C.

Yelp
I'd been meaning to check out Lucky Bamboo for a while, and I finally took the dive and went with a friend yesterday. We picked a few dishes from the chef recommended/authentic Chinese section. The Chongqing spicy chicken absolutely rocked my world; it was a plate of perfectly fried chicken with lots of Sichuan peppercorns, which gave it an amazing taste and an interesting kick on the tongue, and some onion and pepper. I could eat this stuff every day. I'd go here just to try it! We also had a pork belly dish (I believe it was the Taiwanese pork belly, but there were so many options that I actually can't remember). It came with a rich brown slightly sweet sauce and greens. It was absolutely delicious and had a great texture. We also ordered the mapo tofu. I might be biased because I'm used to the Japanese version of this Chinese dish, but this one wasn't my favorite. Prepared well but not my favorite dish we had. Service was kind but not fast. With that in mind, I look forward to visiting again and trying a few more dishes!

Grant E.

Yelp
Lucky Bamboo is your standard run of the mill American Chinese restaurant. They will meet your cravings with the familiar favorites but nothing is spectacular by any means. They do an extraordinary amount of to go business which can be seen by all the hot boxes when you walk in. The staff can be inattentive and wait times longer than promised from my experience as the orders are typically not ready on time.

Yelp
Best Chinese in Nashville! Highly recommend this place. Try the Sichuan dry pot and soupy style

Yelp
Closest authentic Chinese restaurant, always amazed eating here. Wok hei in every bite of fried chow fun. Very reasonable prices.

Yelp
I always see this restaurant when I go to the K&S world market next door but I never tried it until today. It was a bit after 1 when I got there and there were maybe 3-4 people dining in, which was understandable giving the current circumstances with COVID. The booth I sat in was clean and I was served with little chip/cracker things shortly after I sat down. I ordered different kinds of dim sum and they were all pretty good. The lady (maybe the owner?) was very nice to me the whole time, making sure I had everything I needed. She told me that they are having a special menu for Chinese New Year starting next week until the end of the month and gave me a copy of it. The menu looked really good. It had lots of options and I'm very excited to try it! I cannot wait to come back again to try other things on their regular menu as well!
