Lucky Buck's Rooftop Bar

We absolutely loved our time at LB’s!! They hosted a meet up for our annual convention and it was everything we wanted it to be and more. Chris and Ariana were fantastic bartenders. DJ Carlo was playing bangers. We couldn’t have asked for more!! Oh, and the drinks are really good too!!

I recently visited this bar for the first time. The cocktails were ok and the menu offered a tasty but limited options. While I understand the bar is a more casual setting from the hotel restaurant itself the simple menu did have me wanting and in a more timely manner as well. However, I was disappointed with the cleanliness of the establishment. During the two hours that I was there, I noticed that none of the staff cleaned any of the tables. In fact, it seemed like the customers were the ones taking it upon themselves to wipe down and clean the tables before sitting down. It was quite off-putting to see the lack of attention to cleanliness from the staff. I understand that bars can get busy and it can be difficult to keep up with cleaning, but it was a slow day and it was clear that the (4) staff were not making an effort to maintain a clean environment. They stayed behind the bar the entire time. This definitely impacted my overall experience at the bar. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and make improvements in the future as we are planning to visit the hotel restaurant soon.

The views, hospitality, food and relaxed welcoming atmosphere is a true gem. They were brave enough to host our convention attendees and were on top of their game every step of the way. Recommend 100%

Great service, great people. If you go, ask for Jenn. Drinks were great. Only thing I’d change is the Learned Dr’s drink swap lime for the lemon ingredient.

I’m not one to typically leave reviews but we went to Lucky Buck’s for the first time a few weeks ago to celebrate my husband’s 40th with friends and I could not tell you enough about how absolutely WONDERFUL Michelle, the hotel’s event coordinator, was! From planning to day of, she was so helpful and so accommodating! Good times, great vibes, and such a cool spot for downtown Waco.

I didn’t get food, but the bartenders were great- kind, respectful and made a fantastic margarita :-) the atmosphere was so much fun!

We had a wonderful time dancing, singing and hanging with friends last week. All the staff went above and beyond to help us feel welcome.
