Lucky Goat Coffee

We absolutely LOVE Lucky Goat Coffee. Family members turned us on to them with the Snowflake Crunch during the holidays last year. We have been buying only LG since then. I drink the Breakfast Blend on a regular basis but sometimes seotch it up with Black Forest, Crème Brulee, or Candy Bar. We like every single blend we try. In addition to their wonderful coffee, the customer service is just as great.

Lucky Goat is fantastic!! Their coffee is amazing, as is their customer service. I recently made an error while placing an online order with them. I reached out to them and they quickly responded and corrected my error. I appreciate good customer service, and Lucky Goat Coffee delivers outstanding customer service along with high quality products. I highly recommend Lucky Goat.

Love this place! Always an amazing experience. I only wish they heated pasteries in a toaster oven instead of microwave! It would make a huge difference. Still 5 stars.

I absolutely love Lucky Goat Coffee! I moved away from Tallahassee to Denver and I still order my coffee grounds from Lucky Goat. They have something special, something I cannot find an equal to out here. I have turned many people on to Lucky Goat because the business deserves recognition for how great they are. While I can't get their cold brew on tap over here, I can still enjoy brewing my own at home. ALL HAIL THE GOAT!

First off they have the BEST pistachio muffins and they warm them up for you. I love it. I had an iced match which was nice. I liked the size and it was good. They are busy and that’s because they are so good. The only downfall is because they are busy seating is tough. There isn’t much room and if you are lucky to get a seat when busy it can be pretty close to everyone else.

Chill vibe, nice ambiance, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and great customer service!! I tried their caramel chocolate cold brew and it wasn’t overwhelming which is good. They have a TON of options here (including multiple cold brews [flavored and unflavored], teas, hot chocolate, and multiple milk alternatives). Def stop here if you can!! Raven and Courtney were awesome!

This is such a great local coffee house. The coffee is delicious, the service is great, and there is indoor and outdoor seating. They also have a lot of gifts you can purchase.

I let those with a stronger addiction go and took the time to secure the best seat in the house and set up my laptop. With my cortado in hand, it was two hours of pounding away at emails until I was caught up enough to try driving for an hour. This was a great space to spend on a laptop or studying. The coffee was excellent, the seating is comfortable (they also have an outside patio that has power outlets nearby) and the wifi works well. Five stars for Lucky Goat. Iced macchiato was amazing! 10/10! Real coffee! No sauces or extra sugars, just coffee. Chocolate chip cookie was also 10/10! Will definitely be back.

The best coffee in Tally hands down. Their roasts and flavors are unique to them and adds a nice touch. Whenever I'm in town I make sure I stop here at least once. I even order their whole beans online when I'm back home. They make the drinks pretty quickly and are always friendly. Their merch is very cute as well. I wish there was a LG where I lived!

No, I like to go have coffee in the morning somewhere. I wish I didn't have to pay 3 to 5 dollars for a cup of coffee but you do ,go to Lucky goat to Starbucks you get something special I don't know what last time I did calculation, I thought it was around $.15 a cup I did say $.15 a cup. Mayo brew!!I mean everything I guess you're paying for the drink itself and the barista that made it and God knows what else but wish somebody would come up with a two dollar cup go in to get it no waiting or anything like that. All things said about the prices the ambience and Lucky Goat is attractive. I enjoy the peace and quiet and the activity.

Delicious bites, silky smooth coffee, and a great space--what's not to love? Was in search of something to eat, a cup of coffee, and a space to work in for a couple hours and Lucky Goat really came through. I was happy to find they had savory options to eat. I'm not much for sweet breakfast items (muffins and the like) and so often that's all a coffee house has. Not so at Lucky Goat! I ordered a spinach feta pastry that was nothing short of divine. If you get it and they ask if you'd like it heated. You would! It is melt in your mouth perfection. For my beverage, I got a vanilla latte made with almond milk. The espresso they use is high quality which made for a latte that was delicious in every way. They have plenty of space for working (both inside and out) with outlets to be found if you need them. All that and the service was splendid to boot! Get to it!

I come to this coffee shop every time I am in Tallahassee. Love how friendly and helpful the staff is plus they have the best coffee in town. If you want to sit to sip you Java they have great ambiance with comfortable seating. Or you can take it to go like we did today. Lots of great options and also some good specials. Looking forward to the next time I am in town.

From what I've heard Lucky Goat is a famous Tally staple, so I was really excited to goat (bahahah). This location was a little tough to get to, but once we did it was clean and extremely pleasant inside. I thought it was fun that they have a couple different house made flavors of cold brew- and I know cold brew is usually very strong but just be warned, we got one here and it was so strong it didn't get finished. But the honey lavender latte was phenomenal. It's easy to overdo lavender and I am not at all a fan of the flavor but it was very light and well blended in this drink. Now I can mark Lucky Goat off the list!

I came for the coffee, and left disappointed. The coffee seemed to have a little burnt aftertaste, and it was nothing to write home about. I also got a quiche, but it was decent (not that I have that much experience with it). It was microwaved to be hot, which didn't help. I wouldn't recommend it, the aesthetic was very nice though. I could do work there, but I'd have to bring my own coffee.

Really enjoyed stopping into this cozy and bright coffee shop. The atmosphere is light and open, and the staff is friendly. Great selection of bakery items and coffees! We'll be back.

I met my dad for coffee at Lucky Goat across the street from FDOACS (what a mouthful, huh). Turning in and out of this plaza is a drag - and parking isn't much better. But there are a good number of spots in the area, aside from the immediate private parking lot. The coffee shop has a lot of open space. Could use a little more seating, but I found a table to sit at near an outlet for my laptop. I ordered a cortado - you can choose from one of their select and special single origin options versus their signature. I went ahead with whatever Lucky Goat they had on rotation. It was a smooth cortado. It is nice that they have the shot to milk ratio on the wall for each of their drinks, too. Prices are reasonable, too, compared to Starbucks. My dad wasn't a huge fan of the cold brew - they have flavored cold brews, but he got the regular. He drinks it black, but with a little sweetener. There was a coconut flavor of sorts that he found interesting. However, he found it a little watered down - I reminded him not every cold brew is as strong as Starbucks'. Overall, I would love to be able to spend the afternoon reading or working at Lucky Goat. Thankfully, there are other locations in Tallahassee closer to my parents' house, which I am excited to frequent whenever I'm in Tallahassee.

I go to Tallahassee for work. Found this place on Yelp. I will definitely stop here every time I'm here. Cool chill vibe. Great coffee and concept. Simple. Focus is on the coffee beans. They take their time making the coffee. Coffee here is excellent!!!!

This place is hip! It was packed at 3 PM on a Saturday when I went, full of, it looked like, college students who were cramming for exams. It was hard to find a seat! I ordered a latte which was very good! I also got a Cuban coffee and a single source coffee to go which my family members liked a lot too. I will definitely come back here!

This excellent coffee shop is barely visible from the street side. Thanks to Yelp we founded it and intensionally drove there. It was a good decision. Excellent cappuccino. Love the size of the cup and with the extra double shots made perfect one. My wife enjoyed her americano. Both of us noticed immediately low acidity of the coffee.

The original Lucky Goat Coffee location and still the home of the best cup of coffee in Tallahassee! Lucky Goat is everything that you could ever want in a coffee shop. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the coffee is quality and tastes like black gold, and the staff is happy to teach you something new about your favorite drink! The Goat Bomb is an absolutely must-try, especially as a electric shot of energy during the hot summer months. Seriously, I didn't know a cup of coffee could go down that smooth. Otherwise, I typically order their cappuccinos for a nice breakfast drink and throw in a fresh pastry from Tasty Pastry that they always have in the case. As a caveat though, the seats fill up quickly on the weekends with students and other people studying and working, so come in early to stake out your seat. And, as a result of this, parking can be hard to find too. Nevertheless, Lucky Goat, you are truly my favorite cup of coffee in Tallahassee!

Holly cannoli Batman!!! This is a legit coffee joint!! I am so excited I found this place. Now I have a reason to stop in Tallahassee as I'm making my travels back and forth through area for work. The GoatBrew is filled with an unbelievable amount of earthy buttery notes. Like I can close my eyes and see the love of the workers picking the beans and the person roasting it to bring it to the grinder and have the oils and aromas just burst in my mouth! Yup I'm in coffee heaven. Wish I could come back daily and like 3 times a day it's that good.

Cortadito. If you haven't gotten one, you need to immediately. I remember my first time at Lucky Goat when it first opened a few years ago. The baristas would talk to you for hours about the various types of coffee and would offer tastings of each single origin blend. The nitro cold brew coffee was a new one for me, and I became obsessed almost immediately. While this place has changed so much and opened several new stores, it is still my favorite coffee shop in Tallahassee.

My husband and I travel a lot and one of our favorite things to do is experience local coffee shops. This morning we visited this sweet little gem. I ordered a honey lavender latte and my husband ordered a vanilla latte.... Delicious. The end notes were more than honey and lavender.... Almost a fruity finish... we will be stopping by on our way back from this latest trip. What a find!

Lucky Goat used to have storefront in a small strip mall, down the street from this location. They've exploded since those days, and it's easy to see why. Their cold brew is infused with nitrogen, which gives a frothy, creamy mouthfeel even without added dairy. Cold brewing generally results in a milder, fruitier, and sweeter taste. They serve it in a pint glass and I order it without ice which makes me feel like I'm drinking a beer before noon, but in a socially acceptable way. You can even get it with a shot of espresso ("a Goat Bomb"), flavored, or with vanilla/cream ("a Tallycinno"). They once told me that the Black Gold French Roast is the coffee they use in the cold brew. I've made it myself overnight in a french press. While it's quite good, theirs is better. I have their growler and occasionally treat myself to a 64 oz refill of cold brew. When you want a few glasses, that's the most economical way to go. A pound of their freshly-roasted coffee is my go-to hostess gift when I'm visiting someone out of town. If I'm not choosing a single origin, my personal favorite is the the Billy Goat breakfast blend. For someone who prefers flavored coffee, consider the Southern Pecan. This is a great place to study on weekdays when it's a little quieter. When it's busy, you can park in the gravel lot on the far side of the building. Their baristas are knowledgeable and skilled if you'd like to order a drink that isn't merely poured from a tap. My favorite pastry is the neon green pistachio muffin that tastes like the batter had a nice douse of pistachio (or almond?) extract. The cold brew brownie is a close second.

I love this place! I went in to treat myself to a Friday afternoon cafe au lait and pick up a bag of coffee. The young ladies who work there were so helpful. I asked about the different coffees. They told me the Guatemalan was smooth and somewhat sweet and that they were sampling it today. They also told me it was 10% off this month because its the coffee of the month. That was an easy decision. My cafe au lait was smooth as usual. Love the vibe in there too. Makes me want to hang out in there all day.

The first time I had Lucky Goat was at Lofty Pursuits. I was stunned at how perfect the taste was, not the crappy diner coffee I was expecting. I have since crafted an acute obsession with Lucky Goat coffee on account of there literally being nary a bean that can compete. I had tried the coffee at different venues but had never gotten anything from the source. On my way to Tom Brown Park, my extreme, newborn-related sleep deprivation kicked in and I stopped in for a (hopefully literal) pick me up. The cafe itself is nice; not too over the top as some nouveau riche cafe's can be. It's cozy with plenty of seating, wifi, and lots of stainless steel appliances: what more could you ask for? The barista was not super friendly, but not pretentious and he made a damn good latte. As was expected the coffee was nutty with zero acidity or bitterness: it was perfect. My daughter was very content with her m&m cookie and mama got the kick in the pants that I needed before chasing my toddler around the playground for 2 hours. Lucky Goat: I love you.

Been twice now - once for a takeout coffee and once to sit in and enjoy some baked goods (a quiche!) and a coffee. Both times, the service and products served have been second to none. Wish I lived closer though not being closer make visits a bit more exciting!

In my previous review, I expressed my curiosity in watching Lucky Goat grow in the community. Lo and behold, in merely a matter of weeks I'm updating my previous review to the highest accolades Yelp offers. Can I get a drumroll please? (drumroll sounds) Five stars to Lucky Goat and the BEST ICED COFFEE IN TALLAHASSEE. Their cold nitro brew comes directly from the tap. They even serve it in a fitting pint glass. After consuming, you'll never want to have another cup from those chain coffee monopolies ever again. This is a true work of art. And damn, it goes down smooth. After being privileged enough to attend their grand opening, I only have the highest praise for the master coffee roasters. Ask the baristas for their expertise, because they are as knowledgeable as they come. I'm even updating this review from Lucky Goat as I type! The word is out. Lucky Goat now has patrons coming in and out or occupying their wonderful spacious environment at all times. The coffee bar vibe excels on every level. This is the finest craft coffee Tallahassee has to offer. And if you can't already tell, I can't get enough it.

This is the best coffee in Tally. I'm currently hooked on the southern pecan flavor. They do offer almond milk and the almond milk latte is frothy and delicious. My daughter got the kids hot chocolate. She was very impressed by the extra chocolate pump and the design on top. There weren't enough chairs so we got ours to go but the inside is nice also.

Cool name, great coffee. Best cold brew in town can be obtained here! Tallychino is my usual go to but I decided to look at the menu last Saturday. Cuban Style coffee in a non Cuban cafe? My interest was piqued. I ordered the 12 oz. My adventurous spirit was rewarded by what came out before me. It looked great but did it taste good? To be honest, most Cuban cafe I've been to have great coffee but presentation wasn't the focus. The cup of coffee before me had the look and the taste. Maybe I should try a different coffee each time I visit?

I was very impressed with this little coffee shop. I ate here twice during my stay and had their iced coffee "goat tracks" and on another day a chai tea. I also sampled the spinach and feta pocket and their cheese danish. All were DELICIOUS! Actually, I think the cheese danish was the best I've ever had. The staff was kind and gave good recommendations on the menu, which I greatly appreciated! I will be making more visits when I return to Tallahassee.

Absolutely love Lucky Goat Cuban. If you are a lover of stronger flavor this should be your pick. Only downside is that it doesn't come in a 5 gallon container...

Cute little coffee spot that we stopped at while passing through town. We ordered vanilla lattes. The vanilla latte was decent but not sure it is the best I ever had. They also had a case with some pastries. There were some giant muffins in it as well as some cookies. There is a good amount of seating with tables as well as some comfy seats/couches. They also sell growlers of their coffee.

Our favorite coffee shop in Tallahassee we enjoy the sugar free almond lattes and we always look forward to coming here. Our only complaint is you can buy the coffee cheaper at the co-op and online and the prices are way more at the coffee shop. They have great gadgets for all your coffee needs. Little on the higher end. Overall I always enjoy the coffee and look forward to going there any chance we can.

I am not a coffee drinker so I have not tried the coffee however, I can tell you that it is spacious and the ambience is nice. The baristas were also very friendly.
