FYI - the map marker on this is off, and it is about 1.1 miles from HVH. WORTH THE TREK. You'll find it sitting amongst small little shops on Main Street and this cute little house brings warm feelings to your chest from the moment you see it. I was intrigued to walk here after a night of binge drinking based on their Yelp review, but one particular one caught my attention: a 1-star review from some entitled New Yorker who tried to bring 14 people unannounced into a 20 person MAX establishment. How dare you, sir. I, too, am from New York and understand that service will never seem as fast as it does in the city, but dude, you're on an island and tried to bring 14 people into a restaurant with THREE employees. ... I digress.
Anyway, so my husband and I trekked here one morning and were quickly greeted and seated with our drink orders taken (OJ, delicious; coffee, strong). I ordered the Oak Bluff Omelet and my husband ordered the Lobster Benedict. Both were AMAZING. The flavors in my omelet complimented each other so well (they even serve local eggs) and, I am the first to say I do not like home fries, but these were SO GOOD. My husband is crazy about hot sauce and when he asked for some, he was quickly brought homemade green sauce that was delicious. We struggled to eat it all as our heads were pounding from the night before, but we wish we had one more day to come back and try it again. I also ordered the short stack and they were cooked perfectly, were light and fluffy, served with an appropriate amount of powdered sugar and pared well with our more savory dishes.
If you're on the island, make a point to stop in at Lucky Hank's. You'll love its quaint charm, its simplistic décor and patio seating and feel right at home! The pricing is average compared to the rest of the island.
