Food was delicious and staff were friendly and accommodating! I had black pepper pork cutlet special with milk tea. We also had wonton soup and curry beef with rice. Overall, very delicious. The mango pudding is nice and sweet.

Hmm, I don't really like trying new thing especially new food and new restaurant. Hee we go, Lucky House Asian Cafe, first time coming to this place, I'm going to say the service is great and the restaurant is clean. We order egg tart and pan fried dumpling is fresh and yummy, my daughter love it. Overall the food is great, all the food that we order is delicious. Just wanted to let you guys know, they serve breakfast and lunch. Go and check it out ..

Live in Vegas for the past 15years. As a Chinese food lover, I have to say that this is one of the Best Cantonese restaurant in town. Love the flavor and freshness of the seafood.

Google
New HK style cafe that took over one of my past favorites KJ kitchen. Lots of favorites from my visits to Hong Kong like Ying Yang coffee/tea. They serve dim sum which I went to try out. They were ok but not great and didn't taste as fresh as they could be like they were frozen or not made in house. Price wise it seemed a litte higher than other places. Lots of other things I want to try but I'll pass on going for dim sum. Service was generally good overall.

Google
First time going since it changed owners from KJ Kitchen... The interior has been remodeled and definitely more available tables and seating. The staff was friendly and the prices seemed fairly reasonable. Ordered the Salt and pepper squid, Mongolian beef, Beef dried Chow Fun noodles, Chicken fried rice, and potstickers. All delicious and almost like how they made it back in the days of KJ Kitchen. The only critical comments would be the fried rice could use a little more flavor and the dumplings were a little small. But overall, our family really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend it to others and go back again!

Nice Hong Kong style restaurant. There is a good selection of dishes. The food tasted tasty and good

Google
Update 12-5-2023 Went there and found out the place closed down !! Too bad., Update 10-20-2023: Change ownership, become a Cantonese seafood restaurant, live lobster, crab and fish. Food is authentic Cantonese, has lunch specials daily, good price, good food...dim sum too.... Authentic Hong Kong style restaurant,, has everything, even dimsum, taste good, must try if you are in the area

Yelp
Paul was a great employee. He looks like he loves his job which is very rare nowadays lol. Anyways, food was amazing especially with this season were in rn. I know now what toppings to get next time. I commend this place for having a systematic flow when dining in.

Yelp
Jasmine and Paul are the best! Exceptional service. They both have such a bright energy, it instantly lifts up your mood. Love them lol. The food's great. Inexpensive and selections change often so you always get to try something new.

Yelp
Limited vegetables selection. Too oily for my liking. Just personal preference I would not spend $30-$40 for a bowl of soup that not good. Just a cool concept but nothing special. I believe it is $16-$17 per pound The guy who worked there was nice and friendly but all the females employees look like they were force to be there. They are unfriendly and didnt talk to you if you have questions. The table assigned to us was dirty because customers just left so we asked her to help clean it. She looked us in the eyes and walked away without wiping it down (she got all the cleaning supplies on hand because she was cleaning another table). All good we went back to the male employee and asked to switch table.. I guess it's a good thing that there is a free water and tea. Maybe this is the only Mala Tang in Vegas so they did not care to keep up with the standard.

Yelp
Absolutely nothing to say about the service-- 10/10, exceptional!! The kind woman working the night we stopped in was extremely helpful and friendly! She guided us through all the steps of the process and was extremely cheerful and bubbly. The restaurant is large and clean. We didn't have to wait at all to get a seat. After we were seated, you can create your own sauce at the bar. They were out of green onions, which was a bummer, but we made it work. They also have complimentary tea, which was a nice touch! Our party shared the beef bone soup and dry pots. The flavor of the dishes was great! However, the beef was very tough, and I would've appreciated if they cut the napa cabbage into smaller pieces rather than just giving the entire leaf. I also felt like, with the amount we got, other places would have given a bit more soup. Overall a pretty good experience. I don't think there are tons of mala tang places like this in Vegas, so it's definitely a fun try.

Yelp
Omg... went here for the first time a couple weeks ago and let me tell you, I have been dreaming about this meal since!!! It is delicious!!! Theres a great variety of options so that you can put together the perfect bowl!! The service is great and the system they have to make sure everyone has a table is amazing. It feel like á cafeteria set up.. they have a little bar where you can concoct your dipping sauce. Honestly if you have been thinking about it... do it!!! I cannot wait to go back!

Yelp
Great place for picky eaters! They can choose what they want!! Walked in and was immediately greeted and asked if we needed help. 1. Grab a bowl and a pair of thongs and then choose what you want. So many things to choose from veggies, noodles, tofu, seafood, meats. Something for everyone. 2. Choose your soup, the weigh it, then pay. 3. They let you know what table and you go create your own sauce at their sauce bar and self serve water or sweet tea. We really enjoyed our meal here and will come back.
google avatar

Yelp
The staff were welcoming and food was fresh. Loved all the options for sauces to make each hot pot your own. They even have aprons for you to use since , things do tend to get messy. I will definitely be back .

Yelp
It started off with amazing service from Kuya Paul!! He's super fun and energetic and brings up the vibes of the place. It was lunch time so almost every table was full but we still managed to snag a spot! Now I see why it's so popular! You pick your toppings & meat that you want to go into the bowl, they cook it for you, and bring it out! Be careful what you pick cause it can get pricey depending on how heavy your bowl is! They have bottled drink options as well as free water and sweet jasmine tea. We absolutely loved our meal and I would highly recommend and come back! I love the personal touch you get on creating your own bowl! Everyone will leave happy.

Yelp
Great for build your own hotpot with options for everyone. Build your own style accommodates to both picky and adventurous eaters. I appreciate the wide selection of toppings from veggies, tofu, seafood, noodles, and meats. The soup bases seem to change, but I think they are still trying to find out what is popular. The soups have gotten better since they opened. You can dress up your hotpot with sauces from the condiment bar, which is upkept and clean. My go-to is the tomato soup base with mala prickly ash oil and extra green onions. They offer free refreshing tea along with water. I find myself coming back often.

Yelp
There's a few ways you can enjoy hot pot - at Mala Town you grab a large bowl at the start of the line and you add different veggies, proteins, and carbs to the bowl and at the end of the line you tell the cashier which broth you'd like and they weigh the contents of the bowl and that's how they know what to charge you. Then they cook everything in your bowl with the broth of your choice and bring you your bowl once it's done. While you wait you can head to the sauce and condiments bar to help yourself. I opted for the mala broth and it was fantastic, savory, and spicy. I definitely over ordered but it was super enjoyable and I would come back
google avatar

Yelp
really yummy build-your-own hot pot in vegas! the quality of all the ingredients is great. you put whatever raw ingredients you want into a bowl, choose the broth, and they cook it for you. the personalized hot pot experience is really fun! service is great and ambiance is standard/casual. i would say the pricing is a bit expensive especially since it just goes by weight. however, i would recommend it if you are craving hot pot!
google avatar

Alisa R.

Yelp
I went here with my friend again last week, and I realized I should have chosen the another item. This time, we chose beef broth with medium spicy. I still couldn't taste the mala, I guess it is just fried chili oil sauce, but it was really good. I really loved it so much. I felt it would be perfect for the day when I want malatang but prefer something not too strong. Same as before, I love their jasmine ice tea, and the sauce that we can make ourselves. The staff were really friendly, and the ambiance was clean!

Yelp
So many options and such a great price to weight ratio. Hard to get tired of this place when you can make a different combo each time. The server guy is always so nice to us. Always a good go-to if you can't figure out where to eat.
google avatar

Yelp
My favorite Mala place in town! Excellent food with amazing customer service :) You get to pick what goes in your hot pot and it's extremely hard to fail. Ingredients are fresh and all soup options are delicious. Everyone working there is friendly but Paul really ensures customers are satisfied with their food and experience. I've been there about 7+ times and I'll be back!

Yelp
The best hot pot option in town if you don't want to stuff yourself with AYCE. The ingredients are fresh, and the broths are fire (can't go wrong with beef or chicken.) At $15 a pound it is cheaper than other weighed offerings here. My only gripe is that sometimes they overcook the meat, but they have to ensure everything is cooked to meet Vegas health standards. Their sauce bar is elite. We go here at least once a month if not every other week.

Yelp
In Las Vegas, this build-your-own hot pot venue offers a unique dining experience, where patrons can engage in a hands-on culinary adventure. The experience begins with the selection of a bowl and tongs, followed by the presentation of a vast array of fillings, encompassing a diverse range of vegetables, meats, and specialty items such as quail eggs and fish balls. For an optimal dining experience, it is suggested that thinly sliced meats be chosen, as the thicker cuts may be less palatable. The pricing structure for the fillings is based on weight, with a fixed rate of $14.99 per pound. Upon completion of the filling selection process, diners are then presented with a variety of broth options, including beef bone, sweet and sour tomato, and chicken. Notably, the medium beef bone broth is distinguished by its robust flavor and pronounced spiciness. The restaurant also featured a sauce bar with a vast selection of options, including satay, soy, sesame oil, chill oil, garlic, green onions, cilantro, peanut sauce, sugar, and salt. This allowed me to explore different flavor profiles and create a customized meal that suited my palate. Additionally, I was pleased to find that they offered free drinks, including jasmine tea and water jugs that were conveniently positioned next to the sauce bar. I would definitely eat here again and I do highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great dining experience, but considering the price point, I think an all-you-can-eat hot pot option might be a better value. There are tons of locations on this street that offer this type of service, which could be a more cost-effective option for those looking to try a variety of dishes.
google avatar

Robert R.

Yelp
Pretty basic concept. You walk in grab a set of tongs and a bowl. Then go to town. Yous start over by the veggies then move into seafood then noodles and meats. You take what you want, but beware it's charged by the pound @ 14.99 per. Easy to end up with 2 pound bowl before you know it. You then go to the cashier weigh your bowl, pick a broth or dry mix and pay. You're assigned a table and then hit the sauce bar. By the time you've got your dipping sauce your food is cooked and on the table. I opted for the Malatang broth and it was spicy and numbing. Just as I like it. All the items I picked.were well cooked and I left full and happy. Definitely coming back

Yelp
MALA Town is a build-your-own hot pot spot that's perfect for anyone who loves customizing their meal down to the last detail. The process is simple and fun: grab a large bowl and a pair of tongs, then make your way through aisles filled with an impressive selection of toppings. From fresh vegetables and tender meats to a variety of seafood options, there's plenty to satisfy any craving. Just be mindful--at $14.99 per pound, it's easy for your bowl to get heavy fast. My tip? Start conservatively. After some trial and error, I've mastered the art of building a 1-pound bowl, which keeps my meal at a very reasonable $15. For that price, it's an unbeatable value considering the quality and flavor-packed experience. Once you've picked your toppings, you pay at the counter and then take a seat while the staff cooks up your personalized hot pot and brings it to your table. One thing that sets MALA Town apart is its friendly and attentive staff. Every time I've visited, the employees have been welcoming, happy to answer questions, and quick to assist. Their warm demeanor makes the experience even more enjoyable. And don't forget to check out the extensive sauce bar, where you can craft your perfect blend of dipping sauces. Whether you like it mild or prefer your food with a serious kick, the options are endless. All in all, MALA Town is not just a meal; it's an experience. It's a place where you can experiment, have fun, and enjoy delicious, personalized hot pot without breaking the bank.

Yelp
We've been coming here since they first opened, and while we've had some great meals, the consistency just isn't always there. One of the biggest changes we've noticed recently is with the medium spicy bone broth--now they add a scoop of spice, and honestly, it's way too much. It throws off the balance of flavors we used to love. One of the highlights of this place is Paul--he's hands down the best employee they have. He's super helpful, enthusiastic, engaging, and really elevates the experience. They used to offer a great variety of ingredients, and while the quality is still solid, we've noticed some shifts ever since they went viral on social media. Hopefully, they find a way to maintain what made them special in the first place while handling their growing popularity.

Yelp
The vibes, the food, the service -- all wow! Jasmine was literally the sweetest thing. She was all smiles and welcomes. She made my experience so much better because of how social & friendly she is. My friends pretty much guided me since they've been there a million millions before me. At the entrance, you'll need your own bowl & tongs. Throughout the line, you'll choose your toppings, proteins, carbs, etc. Towards the end, you can choose your type of broth, or you can have it "dry"-- either way, your foods going to be cooked perfectly. I chose the dry option. You'll be assigned a table when you pay, and you get to make your own sauce!! This was so fun. Don't forget the sesame peanut sauce! It was so delicious, and I didn't even finish it. I had much left to spare. I took some home for leftovers, and I gotta say it's worth the money for the food, the environment, the DIY sauces, and free tea. I'm so excited to eat there again!

Yelp
Pretty good selection of meat and veggies. $15 per pound of food. I was surprised they don't differentiate the price of meat and veggies. No alcohol so sad... service is hybrid of cafeteria style where you pay first so you have to tip before you get your food.... Lots of young clientele

Yelp
Delicious vegan options! Got the tomato soup base and loved it!! So many noodle and veg options and everything was delicious including the sauce bar. Ambiance is very cute and they have unlimited jasmine tea for free!
google avatar

Desiree H.

Yelp
This was a typical DIY noodle bowl place that was very similar to the Chinese restaurants back in Los Angeles. I loved how many options there were to choose from and they were constantly refilling each bin. There is a choice between a "dry" or a "soup" version of all the items that you put into your bowl. Personally, I like the dry stir fry style more so that's what I opted for. The staff were friendly and quick to cook my bowl up for me. My only suggestion to those visiting is to be wary of how much you put into your bowl. It is charged per pound and everything starts to add up! Since I couldn't finish my lunch meal, I split it into lunch dinner! (It still tasted great reheated!)

Yelp
Jasmine is a gem she is the star of the show get smiley face and her constant hospitality makes this incredible the ramen is fire you will not be disappointed or hungry

Yelp
Such a fun way to make your own personalized hotpot! I really enjoyed coming to this place especially since the weather has been a bit chilly lately. Parking was a bit packed but it's worth the struggle because this place is such a gem! I really like the system they have in place on busy nights where the register will give us a table number so we would already have a seat waiting for us upon placing our order. The toppings are endless and there are so many options to choose from with the meats, noodles, veggies, and anything else that would go great with your soup. As for the broth there were a few options available and I opted for the tomato based soup. Be aware that the toppings are weighed prior and it would be really easy to get carried away and get too much. Although I think it would still be great to take to go to eat later. After paying for the food I was given a number for a table and I went ahead and mixed a few sauces to dip my meats and toppings in. The food came in really fast and it tasted amazing. The soup was very rich and everything was cooked nicely. I recommend going here especially now during the colder months! The service was fast, friendly, and the food tasted very comforting!

Yelp
This is easily one of the best hotpot broths I've had and I eat a lot of hotpot all over the country. All broths are really good and have a lot of depth. I got the tomato broth but tried all of my friend's. You really can't go wrong with any of them. The Tomato broth was rich and was packed with lots of umami. It had a lingering pleasant flavor versus other spots that is one dimensional. The service was extremely friendly and the meats that they offered were very tender. I really liked how clean their sauce bar was too. You can tell that they service it often. I'll definitely be back!
google avatar

Aly W.

Yelp
Delicious, affordable, and unique! So happy we found this place. We loved that we were able to customize our own bowls. There's a vegetables, seafood, noodles and meats to choose from. After you fill your bowl, you choose a soup broth, and they take it back to the kitchen where they add your broth and present all your food beautifully in your bowl! It's $16 per pound, we need up paying $50 for our 2 bowls pictured. I also loved the sauce station you could use to add things like garlic, green onions, cilantro, sugar etc, to your bowl! Lots of seating, and very clean!

Yelp
A really fun build-your-own hot pot spot in Vegas! My friends and I celebrated Labor Day weekend in Vegas and stopped by here before our flight out. The owner was super nice and accommodating to our group of 10! He pulled some tables together for us and even made space for our bags since we had just checked out of our hotel. He went out of his way to make sure we had a good experience, and also chatted with us at times. He even gave us cute aprons to wear so protect our clothes from splashes :) I truly appreciate his attentiveness and humor! Grab a bowl and tongs, and select the fillings you want - they have a TON of selection. So many different veggies, meats, and other items like quail eggs, fish balls, fish cakes, noodles, etc! I found the thicker cut meats are tougher to eat so I recommend selected the thin sliced meats! Each pound of fillings is $14.99, which is weighed at the end. Then you can select a broth - they have beef bone broth (mild, med, hot), sweet & sour tomato, chicken broth, sichuan malatang, and even a dry mix. I got the medium beef bone broth, but the spiciness is quite strong. My bowl of toppings ended up being 2lbs so it was quite hefty - I was stuffed! They also had a sauce bar with a ton of options - satay, soy, sesame oil, chili oil, garlic, green onions, cilantro, peanut sauce, sugar, salt, etc. I appreciated the free drinks as well - jasmine tea and water jugs next to the sauce bar. This is a great spot for any soup fan!!

Yelp
Food: The best quality hot pot meats I've ever had! Service: Outstanding! Ambiance: Clean and organized I'm a lover of hot pot! I had to try Mala Town while visiting from Atlanta! I'm so happy we did! I love that you get to choose every item for your bowl! I tried the beef tendon, sausage, shrimp, marbled beef and quail eggs! Everything was DELICIOUS! I plan to go back on Wednesday, the day before we leave!! I wish they had a location in ATL!

Yelp
This spot singlehandedly saved me from my weekend in Vegas! As hot as it is during the summer, my group of friends and I were all in need of soup and the reviews here did not disappoint. We were met with exceptional service from Paul! His friendliness and comedic personality really made us feel welcomed. We got some cute aprons to wear which was fun! The ordering process is simple: grab your own bowl of toppings, choose a broth flavor, and pay by the pound upfront. Then, make your dipping sauce while you wait! I went for the signature beef bone broth with mild spice. The difference between mild and medium is quite drastic so I would stick to mild and add on chili oil to your liking. They had a jasmine tea and water for beverages. The tea was slightly sweetened and was refreshing! There were a variety of veggie options, proteins, and noodles to add on. I do think the meats could be served in a bigger tray as the marbled beef ran out very quickly. The other lean brisket I had was a little tough to chew on once cooked. The broth was heartwarming and flavorful even with the mild spice. Really great pick that I would highly suggest as a visitor that frequents Chinatown when in Vegas!

Yelp
I needed to update to 5 Stars. Been here a few more times and now that I ordered right spice, the hot pot dish is so much better. I love the numbing oil too. Tupac enjoyed his selections so this is a winner. Shout out to the 2 Filipino workers. The Filipina lady working during the day and the filipino guy working at night. 5 Star Service. ------------- OLD REVIEW: Grab a tong and large bowl and start choosing the items you want in your hot pot. Great selections, and I'm glad this is not an AYCE. I can't stop myself if it was. Had vegetables with pork and beef meats. I also added fried tofu. For my broth, I ordered the Signature Broth Medium spice. Let me say that it was extremely HOT / Spicy. When you get to the end of selecting your items, the worker will weigh at, and that's how you will be charged. I say, leafy vegetables are light. (You're welcome. It'll be cheaper. Lol) When you get your receipt, look for your table assignment and have a seat. Overall, it's a great spot for a hot pot, and I'll return soon.

Yelp
I love the concept! It's basically chipotle style shabu. You select what you want in your bowl, ranging from seafood, vegetables, noodles, and meat. Then they weigh your selections and you select your broth and they cook it all for you. After trying several options, I've narrowed down my favorites. The fish cake cheese ball, very interesting and exactly what it is called. It's a fish ball with a nacho cheese center. Quail eggs, because I love quail eggs. Wagyu beef! They don't charge this at a premium so my next visit I will be loading my bowl up with this. I was able to try both the beef bone and chicken broth. The beef bone can be personalized with spice level and the chicken broth is without spice. Even at mild the beef broth had a slight kick to it. My son got the chicken broth and I surprisingly liked that more. It was definitely a lot saltier, which personally is what I like. They also have a good sauce bar and water water station with free cold jasmine sweet tea. The restaurant was clean and tidy. Any spills at the sauce bar were promptly cleaned up and the food choices were constantly filled.

Yelp
Have been looking for a make-your-own hot pot place for a while and finally found it Pros - excellent selection of items to put in your bowl. Fresh ingredients and plentiful. Friendly staff and good seating area. Also have a reward card system Cons - none! Definitely check this place out for a tasty customized hot pot. Great for hangouts and dates

Yelp
Arrived to Mala Town for Thanksgiving meal. It did not disappoint. Entering the restaurant, we were greeted by an employee who explained the menu and offered some great tips as a first timer. The buffet style vibes started off with the veggies, then frozen seafood, noodles and lastly meat. They weight your food and pay. They gave us a ticket for a table that we requested to be delivered to our family table in D-3 area. The sauce station offered chili oil, sesame oil, soy sauce, numbing sauce, cilantro and green onions and so much more. We sat down and soon realized our food was delayed from everyone else. We waited at least 20 minutes. I went up front to check out food and it was sitting by the cashier. They finally delivered it to us. Still warm which was good. If it was cold, it would have been a different story. The food was great! We both got the mild and that was perfect! The upper level might have been too hot for us. Service was good except for the mix up but other than that we enjoyed our meal. I'd come back again!
google avatar

Yelp
The veggie, meat, seafood, noodle and broth selection are all amazing! It gets easy to go overboard since it's hard to choose between what you want but everything is delicious. The male cash register is always friendly upon entering and paying. The restaurant itself is bright, open and clean. And love that they have a water and tea station easy accessible and free. Mala town also has one one of the best goma sauces I have tasted.

Yelp
I stumbled upon this MalaTown location while driving around Chinatown recently. I had been to one off their locations in California, but didn't realize they opened one near my AirBnB. Malatang cuisine is from China but differs from traditional hot pot in the staff cooks the food for you. Upon entering the restaurant, grab a bowl and a pair of tongs, then walk down the buffet and pick from the large selection of meats, vegetables and noodles. At the end of the buffet line, the bowl is placed on a scale, and you pay by the weight of your food, along with choosing a broth or dry mix. After paying, the cashier will direct you to a specific table (also listed on your receipt), where another staff member will bring out your cooked food. Before then, you can also customize a dipping sauce at the sauce bar. You can also get water and sweetened green tea from dispensers by the sauce bar. When the food is brought to your table, make sure you wait a moment before diving in, as the broth is very hot! But these moments are worth it, as the broth is very flavorful (especially my favorite, the beef bone broth). You can also dip your food in the sauce, or just pour your sauce into the bowl directly. The server will also give you a pair of chopsticks and a soup spoon (forks available upon request). If you are like me and can't decide on what food to get, you'll probably get more than what you can eat in one setting. No worries, just ask the staff for a to go container, so you can enjoy the leftovers at home!

Yelp
Good food, can be relatively affordable if you order a "normal" meal amount, nice service. I've come several times now and have always had a good experience! Grab a big bowl, and work your way through the ingredient line to get veggies, balls, others, noodles and meats :) lots and lots of options!! Tbh more options than some of the ayce hot pot places around town. There are a lot of protein options and also noodle options that I really like!! After you choose your ingredients, you'll be at the cashier and you will choose which broth/seasoning you will like. Soup and dry options are available. Head to a table and make your sauce. Then enjoy! The spicy soup is REALLY hot. Spicy hot and temperature hot!!! Also beware of how much food you weigh out!! The price of your meal depends on how much food you get. It's not ayce so really picture how much you think you will eat so you're not paying a lot for leftovers. If you know you'll eat a lot or want to stuff yourself that day, an ayce option might be a better deal. Otherwise, food is good and the seasoning is yum

Yelp
Make your malatang which is similar to hot pot but not the same as what we used to. You get a bowl, pick your ingredients (they have a huge variety of options) and paying by weight. They charge $14.99 per lb and you get to choose between beef broth, tomato soup, chicken soup or the dry mix. Malatang has its origins in the Sichuan region of China translating to "spicy, numbing soup" using mala sauce which has Sichuan peppercorns and dried chillies. You get to choose your spice level. Mild is perfect for me. Got the beef broth and love that they boil it for several hours. You can taste it on the soup

Yelp
Here you get the ingredients in a bowl and give the cashier the bowl and they give you the hot pot. The prices were reasonable and the staff are friendly. The mild broth has a little of the hunan numbing spice so it is not completely mild. The atmosphere was casual.

Yelp
Interesting concept, had to give it a try given hot pot's one of my favorite foods to eat. Arrived around 6:00 PM on a weeknight and there was no wait. There wasn't anyone to explain the process but everything was pretty straightforward and intuitive, accompanied by the small signs with information. Ingredients seemed to be fresh, and there were so many items to choose from. Got about 1.3 lbs of ingredients and the meal was about $24 excluding tips. Remember to ask for a stamp card! My pot came out in just under 15 minutes, but I had to ask for my order of white rice on the side, which was missing. The staff was pretty quick to grab a bowl of rice for me right away. Loved that there was a self-serve sauce station + ice cream water and tea available for customers. Many tables and seats, and the staff seems to be pretty on top of cleaning the tables once customers finish. For the price, this certainly isn't too pricey of an experience, especially since you get to customize the ingredients included in your pot. Flavor-wise though, I wouldn't say it's nearly as good as Tasty Pot or similar concepts. As time passed, more and more people flowed in, and many of the customers, from what I could tell, spoke Asian languages, so in a way, that's a pretty impressive stamp of approval to have. Take it how you will. Two gender neutral restrooms in the back that were clean. Will return in the future only if craving customizable hotpot specifically.

Yelp
The food is amazing, the service is quick and friendly. There's so many options, just grab a bowl and load it up it's about $15 per pound and when you check out you choose your broth base. If you don't do spicy do the chicken broth. I tried the beef broth and it was still too spicy for me. The place is clean and nicely decorated. Definitely want to come back and try even more things.

Yelp
I am absolutely obsessed with Mala Town. This restaurant has been a wonderful addition to the Asian restaurant scene in Las Vegas. Honestly, I think this place might be in my top favorite restaurants in Vegas. I've been about two times in the past week and I am already itching to go back again! The best way to describe this place: delicious Asian comfort food. When you first walk in, you grab a bowl and a pair of tongs to build your own hot pot. There's an assortment of fresh vegetables, meat, and other typical Asian hot pot items. At the very end, you choose a broth and pay $14.99 per lb of your bowl. It's an interesting concept that works - you get to choose how much you spend! The staff, restaurant, and quality of the hot pot ingredients are phenomenal. On both visits, the staff were so delightful, friendly, and amazing. They went above and beyond each time. Paul is an absolute delight -- honestly, he's the absolute best! So far, I've been averaging around $20-$30 per bowl, which isn't too bad and I get to choose whatever I want! Yes, the price is a bit steep, especially when you're comparing it to other Asian restaurants and/or AYCE places; however, I would choose Mala Town many, many times over. I've had the Beef Broth and Sichuan broth so far, and both are equally delightful. Overall, I'm a big fan of this place. Definitely add this to your must-visit spots in Vegas, if you haven't been already!

Yelp
Went and tried Mala Town with a friend and was met at the door by Paul who welcomed us in with a warm smile and explained the whole process to us. He truly made our experience incredibly enjoyable. It's rare to find people who actually care and show kindness to customers. I will be returning for this reason alone. He made sure we got exactly what we wanted and made sure we enjoyed what we got. He was never annoyed or bothered by our questions or needs! Thank you for your kindness Paul!!! Now!! THE FOOD! What an incredible idea to create your perfect ramen dish! The taste was indescribable. The flavors were so mind blowing. Truly the best broth and ingredients I've ever had. We left with full bellies but still craving more! Went back again and was served by Jasmine this time. I can't get over how inviting and kind the people are that work here. I was hesitant to go in with my baby but I was really wanting another ramen bowl. I was pleasantly surprised when Jasmine took care of me and my baby and made us feel MORE THAN welcomed and my sweet baby spent time talking and playing with her. She even rushed over to double check and double sanitize and clean and set up a highchair for us! She made sure I was enjoying myself and not stressed and she made sure my baby had everything he needed to eat and made sure he also had what he liked to eat. She was so kind and so helpful and I have to say this is my favorite place to eat because of the food for sure but MOSTLY because of how kind the people are.

Yelp
Beef bone broth with medium spice was delicious. Paul at the register was great at recommending which soup to get especially since it was my first time eating here. I will definitely be coming back.

Yelp
Yay! A malatang restaurant in Vegas. Clean, spacious, and fast restaurant. Think of Chipotle but with hot pot. Plenty of topping and soup broth choices. My party and I tried all of them and they're all delicious. Their mild is extremely mild, so I'll be asking for medium next time. You also add your own numb oil. The service was awesome and very courteous. Enjoyed complimentary sweet jasmine tea (that wasn't too sweet!) and lime water. My only caveat was that my soup(meat and noodles) was overcooked so the meat was tough and noodles were melting.

Yelp
Customize your own fusion Asian hot pot soup dish, or a mala dry boiled ingredients mix. We've been eyeing this place near us and finally visited. In love with all the different veggies there! Including seafood, and meats. Lots of variety! I'm not much of a hot pot person, but I do like boiled food. Similar to Yunnan Tasty Restaurant. Be careful how much you're getting!! Recommend strolling to see your ingredients before you accidentally overload like us. Ingredients definitely include those with Tawianese taste in hot pot to custom boiled dish, like rice blood cakes and fried chicken. The thick noodles are a must for me now. Not all ingredients are in top shape so be wary. They offer in array of seafood like clams, squid, octopus, fish filet, fish balls, and more. Veggies can include the usuals and more...lotus roots, fungus, Chinese cauliflower, yam, bamboo, pea sprouts, mushrooms. Different noodles and tofu is available too. And for meats...braised beef shank, por belly, spam, inners (tripe, etc), lamb, beefs. We tried the tomatoe soup, and the dry mix mild this time. We got carried away and each got at least $25 worth of goodies in each of our picks. We got take out. Dry mix is bomb! And any leftover soup can be reused to cook another soup dish. You can ask to sample to soups. They were all good!! (SO tried the dairy beef broth, and enjoyed it too). Staff Paul is a great instructor! Ask him your questions! Also, - Yelp review after your meal. And bring it in next time for a free drink! - Locals can ask for a stamp card! - Sauces, Water and Jasmine Tea is included! At first I thought it was going to be like a Taiwanese grab fried/boiled bag of goodies to go. Very similar but a fusion and soupy version. All they need is the Tawianese version which is boiled in herbal mala soup but not a hot pot soup. But dry mix mild to medium spicy is pretty similar.
