First time visiting this bar and they definitely have great customer service and very good cheap prices on their drinks! Rob and John was amazing! Super friendly, helped out with drinks as well. Right infront of the Seawall. We loved it and will be back! Definitely recommend them!

First time visit and it was great. Bartender Rob took care of us while our friends had their dog groomed at the Salty Dog. Drinks and champagne were very good. Very nice place, big patio out back and super clean restrooms. We will be back!

This place feels Right. Located across the Galveston Seawall the front patio feels like that's your spot. But once you walk in it's a whole New World. Manager Chris and the Lucky Lounge Crew of Awesome Bartenders (too many to mention) who make you feel you're one of the crew. And let's not forget the Back patio... Horrible experience! Bar tender that was off duty sitting at the bar was accusing myself and my friends as being feds (ICE). Only 5 minutes there and a younger girl was falling to the ground dropping her glass due to be wasted by 6:30pm. We had our beer and the bar tender (off duty) kept accusing of us as being feds. Horrible establishment.

Came here on vacation for the last day of our honeymoon. What’s great place! Beautiful view and the bartenders were so much fun! Great recommendations of things to do for us, and they were genuinely interested in us having a good time. Even put our games for NFL Sunday on for us. Atmosphere was fun watching the game with Texans fans. Will come back when we are in town again! Thank you for a great time!

Local gem. BOI customer base, but non locals are welcomed. Great place for juke box music, pool, and darts. Diversity welcomed...

Best bar on the Seawall! What more could you ask for? Great front patio with water view!, Best bartenders that make the best drinks with such a friendly, attentive service! Interior is comfortable, clean, and inviting! Multiple TV's for your sports watching! and then the back yard/patio...you just have to see it! We love this place so much and look forward to visiting often! They will even accommodate your special event! Don't skip this place! Lucky Lounge is our favorite sports bar and favorite place to enjoy a cold drink, and relax with a great view!

Nice little bar on the beach. Laid back atmosphere. Friendly crowd. Go have a drink if you are at Stewart beach or parked on the east end of the Seawall.

Nice local spot with friendly bartenders and amazing Gulf views! Would definitely recommend it.

Looking for a locals place? Kinda divey but in a good way? Then check out Lucky Lounge. Order some tacos or a burger out back from Tito's Tacos, then check-in with Jacqueline at the bar for a drink. Sit back and enjoy the view on the front deck, hit up the pool table, or play a game of Jenga out back on the patio. Some nights they even have live music! This is also one of our fav places to just hang out with our dogs.

Went for the t-shirt and wound up staying for some fun. Great bartender & loved talking with the locals. It was clean, well stocked and tv's all over the place. Not sure it qualifies as a 'dive' bar, but it's certainly a clean bar!! Suggestion for the owner: get the juke box fixed!!

Went there yesterday. Really cool place with a nice large patio. Parking was easy and convenient. The inside bar had a duet (keyboard & guitar) playing classic rock, blues and country at a low volume so you could comfortably talk. The drinks were large and tasty and the service was excellent. Definitely will return.

What a great find! If we lived on the island, this would be our Cheers! We stopped in for "just one drink after dinner." Three hours later my husband was pouring me into bed. Great service, great drinks (you order a double...you get a double!), and just a fun vibe. The patrons were nice and welcoming...we had fun chatting with them and playing pool.

Tried this bar out with my boyfriend one night and the bartender was fun and quirky! Had a couple beers and played a few rounds of pool. Only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because one guy was being a creep and kept staring at me with my boyfriend right next to me but that's not the bars fault overall.

Rob is bomb. Roxy rocks. Flynn is fly. Ben is bad ass. John is dope. Can't think of enough superlatives. The owners keep the place immaculate. Views are absolutely amazing. And I'm taking about the Gulf and patron and staff views.

Best bar on the island. All ages. Great jukebox and friendly customers and bartenders! Bloody Mary is the best on the island, Katrina treated us right!

neighborhood bar...very low key---NO frills 2 pool tables... $1 per game had jukebox friendly staff... lots of locals, motorcycle groups...etc will go back when i wanna slum [in a good way] :)

Ok bar.....has potential, but overall a mixed bag. Went in yesterday after being there a few times before.The barmaid informed me they had left over gumbo from fat Tuesday, gotta admit this was nice. It's a hole in the wall and I can't imagine many tourists know about it.There is no kitchen, so if you just want to drink, play pool, and play slots, this is your bar. There's room for dancing and an outside patio as well. They have pretty knowledgeable bartenders to boot.The clientele is varied but generally comprised of residents of workers on the west end.

I stopped in just to check the place out. Two pool tables, about 5 TV's, arcades and slots, pretty much something sure everyone, except high-end alcohol that you would find at specialty bars. That being said, they do have Herradura Repasado, Grey Goose and Ketel One, and a few others. The best part of this place is that it is off the main drag, reasonably priced and nice customers and bartender.

Roxie was super friendly and made us feel very welcome! I will definitely come back during my next trip to Galveston. The drinks were generous pours and the Gardettos were not past their due date. When someone offered me a barbecue sandwich for $10 I declined, but I did appreciate having the option to eat a more substantial meal.

I live maybe 3 blocks away from Lucky Lounge. 10 people in the bar at most tonight and the bartender is way too busy talking to her friend to serve anyone. We waited about 10 minutes, she couldn't be bothered to even acknowledge us so we left. As we were walking out she said " Thanks for coming!" It's really a shame. Local neighborhood bat can't be bothered with even serving locals. We will never go back!

I walked in by myself and immediately got looks of hatred. After having a beer I tried to introduce myself to another patron who responded, "nah dawg I'm good". After one beer the bartender said, you need to sign your check and go. I gathered that this is a very racist establishment and left as quickly as I could. I was at one point in fear for my safety due to the other patrons's comments which included sayings such as, "you better watch it white boy." I encourage people in favor of equality to avoid this establishment.

I really like this bar. I have always been a fan of the "no-frills" type of places that are a great stop on a late Saturday night where I don't have to wait at the bar for century to get a drink. The service here is friendly and it's a locals kind of place. They have pool tables, Golden Tee, slot machines(for entertainment purposes only of course), a jukebox and darts. They also have tv's for the games. It looks a little rough on the outside and looks like it might be a little ghetto, but you are pleasantly surprised that it's not that bad on the inside. On Sunday's they have pot-like style lunch where you can bring something to contribute if you want to. They also have specials throughout the week. Keep in mind that they do not serve food.

Rude bartender she could of been more friendly we were looking for a bar just to have a few drinks close to our hotel well we were there for 15 min or so just to finish the one beer me and a group of 6 of us. It's a nice little spot but they need to have a friendlier bartender and one who doesn't look like she doesn't enjoy her job.

As far as the bar goes, they had obnoxious casino games sitting on the bar itself, as well as a really bad juke box playing. It was super smokey and could tell there wasn't any ventilation. I rarely do reviews when I have bad service, but the fact that these people kicked me out is disappointing. Even though Texas law says you can be with your father at a bar and he can buy you drinks, I was denied service because I couldn't show ID. I had left my wallet at the hotel. OK, no problem. I don't mind just chillen and watching TV while dad drinks. I don't even care for drinking, really. Then, I was told I have to leave. "Bar policy" states that unless I can prove he's my dad, I have to leave. I'm sorry, but it's 1 in the morning on a Wednesday night and there was at most 10 other people there. If you can't bend the rules a little for this situation, then wow. Really, wow. In the end, it's what the great state of Texas has to say. This is a mom and pop joint, not a publicly traded franchise.

Cant wait till oct 19,2019 my wedding day then I will be coming here with my husband to drink and enjoy the patio.. Hope coming in a wedding dress is kool....Best drinks when we came last time at really good prices and love the outside seating area...

This is one of the best neighborhood bars in Galveston. The staff is friendly and inviting, but will still talk trash to you like you were a local. The prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is phenomenal. I must say this was one of the best times I have had in Galveston.

Very cool place if you want to dive bar and it's not really dive is actually pretty nice great people to come here I'm very critical of bars but this is pretty nice place

Neighborhood dive bar. Bartenders are friendly. Bar is smoke free and dog friendly. During the summer it tends to get pretty hot inside so I try to visit during cooler months. Just a block off the seawall away from the tourists. Good place to catch up with friends.

Nice place but a little boring, owner refuses to have any kind of music besides the juke box. If you go in to watch football they will not have sound turned on unless it is the Houston game. Drink prices great and most of staff cool

Nice little bar. Friendly staff, good prices. Smokers go outside and this is enforced. There are decent games to play, music ad pool table. We found it last year and come when errands are finished

The bad: Infested with rats and drugs. The good: they pay out on the gambling games. Bartender seemed nice. SMOKE-FREE!!! There are a few nice, clean places nearby: jack's pub, tin cup, jimmy's on the pier.

My boyfriend and I frequent this establishment as often as possible. It is not a big place however there are plenty of seating and a very cool little patio for smoking. This is one of the few places on the island with decent pool tables. Usually our bartender is Victoria, but sometimes we'll have Roxy or Lindsay. You're lucky to get any one of these ladies. They are always on point with our drinks even if it's a Dr Pepper. They really take care of you. This is definitely a great place for locals and service industry professionals as my coworkers and I come here often as well. I live within walking distance which is great because no one likes to drink and drive and even if you're just visiting and not staying close by I would definitely call a cab to get there. Everyone is pretty friendly, it's clean and drama free which is a huge plus and the manager natasha is really cool. She is always around to make sure things are going well. I really enjoy myself here and am able to entertain friends here without having to yell over the music. It's a little out of the way for most people and kind of hidden because it's on Stewart Rd but it's definitely worth it. Hands down
