Yelp
"Busy Brew Pub with Great Food & Cool Misters."
The desk clerk in my hotel recommended this place, and it was a good recommendation. It was easy to get to, with plentiful diagonal parking in the center median.
During the crisis, they have to be careful, of course. Wait at the front entrance for the hostess to seat you on the patio.
This is obviously a popular place with the locals. I was seated in just a few minutes on their expansive outside patio. It's fully covered, so don't worry about getting sunburned.
They also have misters overhead. Sometimes the mist comes down and mists over you, but that's okay. It's sort of like when you have a lawn sprinkler pointing the wrong way.
They have several different type of light dishes, such as wraps. I ordered the BLTA wrap, which proved to be an excellent choice. It's bacon, lettuce, tomato, and avocado with their homemade red pepper sauce. Just a little spicy, but not too bad. If you're looking for a light dish, this wrap is a good option.
I was thinking of saving the second half to take to the hotel room for a late snack, but I couldn't resist. I gobbled it up.
I paired my wrap with their Luke's Original American blonde ale. That also proved to be an excellent choice for a light beer. In fact, I liked it so much I got a second pint and also a four pack to go.
So overall, a very good visit. My only criticism: I think the evenng servers have a tough time keeping up with all the business. Oh well--Sort of a good problem to have.
The servers here are incredibly hard-working. They are almost running back and forth to help the guests. For my order, I'm sure they WERE running.
It's a tough time for small businesses. Please support our local businesses.
