Lucky Penny at Green Valley Ranch

I cannot believe the amazing quality food for the price! The late night menu starts at 11 and it’s all Great! Consider me blown away; the pancakes delish; the steak for a thin slice was so well cooked! Eggs perfectly cooked. I will return! Erin our server was on the ball and the proper amount of attentiveness.

The food is worse than denny's!!?? I wonder if they have a different type of food for their special deals. Sort of like the cheaper eggs or the older sausages. Everything felt old and stale. I suppose you can't ask for a lot since we paid for $4.99 per dish. I was hoping that casino food would be much better than that. The hash browns were stale and the sausage was very dry and chewy. I might better have ate the biscuit and gravy, and she said, it tasted stale and old. The only thing that was truly consistent was the white toasted bread with butter. She even had a latte which tasted like burnt coffee with some foam. To be fair we came here at 2am. The staff appeared to be half asleep though they were trying.It is a tough shift to cover. We had to remind the server three times that we ordered the latte. I did talk with one of the servers, and they did mention that it just happened to be exceptionally busy.The whole night as well. We got there and there was plenty of tables open, but maybe short of staff. I highly don't recommend the cheap eat foods if it was anything like what we had. I am open to eating the regular dish, but then again, there are nicer restaurants surrounding the area.

A lucky finding within a green valley station. Addressed at 11011 Green Valley Parkway. I remember finding this restaurant. Within the far backside of a Staion Casino. On the early afternoon of September 11. Televisions in the counter seating had no mentions of 911 rememberances. Otherwise a dimly lit atmosphere. Surounded by fine dining mannered servers. We pondered the nenu from our spacious table booth. Each appealing brunch selection written like an interwoven story. Still, noticing that no news references of 9-11. My lunch date spoke softly from across the table, asking me. "Do you know what you want?" I replied. Yes, To give them a review they will never forget. Suddenly a warm draft of delicious cooking aroma filled the air around me. A sense that felt reinsurance. Like the comforting words of a leader named Abraham. The food had arrived.Just before my first bite, a soft sound like a background television . Sounded like responding hymns. In time my fellow man.

Came for the late night steak and eggs that they have after 11 PM daily. The steak was kind of tough to chew which is not surprising given the price. It was nicely cooked and flavorful, but not tender. The eggs and hash browns were good. I have the $4.99 eggs, bacon, hash browns, toast deal and that was eggcelent for the price. Late nights, the dining area is usually empty. The hostess was friendly as was the waiters, but the waiters are usually slow to serve you. Be prepared to wait for service and your food.

We asked the server for biscuits and gravy and requested them extra hot after bringing them out. We called them over because they were just room temperature and he told us there’s no way to heat them up because the chef took out the microwave from the kitchen which he could’ve told us that to begin with we would’ve ordered something else oh, and this was Valentine’s Day morning for breakfast. You really need to be upfront with your customers.Thanks chef.

Tried this place for the first time and it was "ok". Would return and try something else. Priced right and nice location. Note- you need to walk thru the casino to get there. Service and atmosphere was nice. Menu was relatively diverse and priced reasonably (about $20 an entree). Salad was fresh. No real complaints minus some salad toppings were few and far between. Dressings seemed homemade and were good! Wouldn't get chicken parmigiana, will stick to Italian restaurant.

The food tasted great and was well seasoned. The portions were adequate and priced accordingly. The fresh squeezed orange juice although a little pricey was vey good. The dining area was clean and well kept. Our server Arturo was pleasant and exhibited good customer service. He ensured our water glasses remained full throughout our meal and was available for any requests. He also took a little time to chat with us which, was appreciated.

I brought my out of town guests here on a Sat night. We had a late dinner and upon walking into the restaurant was not impressed with the cashier or hostess. Their conversation with one another was more important than the customers in front of them. Our waiter Josè was phenomenal. He had great recommendations and was very friendly and attentive. The ambiance was welcoming and the restaurant was very clean. We were impressed with the food and prices. For that reason I would recommend.

Eduardo on the midnight shift... Thank you! We had breakfast during the wee hours of the morning and had one of the best servers ever by the name of Eduardo. He continued to make himself available during our meal, which is a rarity, and we had everything we needed to enjoy our morning breakfast. We eat out often and this gentleman did a wonderful job of making sure everything was perfect and to satisfaction. I'm very picky lol and Eduardo did everything with a smile, his friendliness and light conversation felt welcoming. He made sure my meal was exactly how I wanted it. Perfect! My husband and I received the best friendly Customer Service which was Excellent! Eduardo is definitely an asset to this business. Oh and my breakfast was yummy. We'll be back! Julianne and Robert

Well... Sat down at a table. Tawana is on vacation it would seem--Candice isn't there today- I don't see any remodel, what has changed? Everything looks the same? The waiter took our drink order straight away--Coffee for my brother--a Pepsi for me. Then about 15 mins later took our food order--Tomato soup for me and Eggs and Hasbhrowns--My brother got the Chicken Fried steak... 25 mins later my soup came out. about 15 mins later the food came out. The waiter was nice but looks like he is the ONLY one on all of those tables.... The food was good... The Bill was $70-- Not sure why it was so much, its never been that high--I ordered 3 eggs and 1 hashbrowns, even if the waiter put those in as sides that is $20 + drinks and my brother's chicken steak... but whatever... Then the woman at the front (wasn't the regular lady whose name I can never remember--Mai Mai maybe? was not her--was not Stephanie-- Those two ladies are always friendly and wonderful to us--It was someone we didn't know, she says to my brother, You have no points to pay the breakfast with, he is like, wait--I gamble here a lot and I am a President (You know the card level?) and she kind of got snarky--YOU ... have .... No... Points.... Like he is 5 years old, I almost said something but then she walked off to take care of something and I turned to Stephanie and I said hey there--can You check his points and she did and he had $50 on there. Were not going to not come back to one of our favorite breakfast places but it was just such a strange experience, usually everything runs so smoothly here--The waiter was a nice man but I think he was overwhelmed as he had all of the tables to handle and even the manager (Greeter who I assume was the manager) was bringing drinks and food to customers.... It didn't seem any busier than any other day when we are there... Just for anyone reading this--Its slow right now so make sure you have time to kill--The food is great though. You still need a plant based option--like The Beyond Burger, that would be awesome to see or Impossible sausage for breakfast--as it is, all I can eat now is Eggs, Hashbrowns and Tomato soup and avocado toast if I 86 the feta....

That wasn't quite as grand as I'd hoped. Lucky Penny at Green Valley Ranch, or simply "GV - Cafe" on their receipt, is a 24/7 sit-down spot inside the casino. Located in a corner closer to the Paseo Verde entrance / garage, it's more of a place to go to if you're already here than anything else. Unless you're like me and have seen the ad campaigns for late night deals and an all-day $5.99 cheeseburger special. The latter is why I stopped by tonight. I got seated quickly and received my food a little less quickly; maybe it's just one poor individual in the kitchen at night. The burger is okay. It has a soft bun, a slice of cheese, a bunch of veggies, and an orange burger type sauce. But the single patty is really tiny and you'll taste more of everything else than you will the beef. Actually, the whole portion is small and is more of a light lunch or large snack. he fries looked mostly pale and maybe could have been salted a tiny bit more aggressively, but at least they had enough of a crisp and the server brought out ketchup unprompted. I don't see myself coming to Lucky Penny anytime soon. The burger special just wasn't meaty enough. Sure, you can pay for this or any other menu item with points from your Station Casinos player rewards card, but why not save them up for a better restaurant instead?

This has nothing to do with the staff staff is fine. He has my problem. Avocado toast. One piece of toast. It used to be two. A side order of toast. Coffee. $30!!

This is Green Valley Ranch casino cafe. They have some of the best late night specials in Vegas after 11pm; steak & eggs for $9.99, and other pancake and all day breakfasts. The bakery section is excellent too!

24 hours diner at the Green Valley Ranch. Organized like old school Vegas restaurants it is really hard to find these days. Friendly staff, large menu and pretty good food. Clean! Downside - it is in casino and smoke is everywhere which is pretty much par for the course. Food is pretty good but not a five star quality. Other than that I would say coffee is overpriced. 4 people can eat for sub $100 if they don't drink coffee. Black coffee at $4.99 is overpriced.

Pros: Food and value Cons: Bit of a wait for an empty restaurant Detials: We wanted to try the burger and fries deal. Like I said for the con, the place was 80% empty and we still had to wait 10-15 minutes to be seated. But the service itself was fast. You have to be part of the station players club for the burger deal but it was delicious. Compared to fast food burgers of the same price it blows them away.

Had lunch with a friend...I had the chicken quesadilla and my friend had the cheese panini and soup. We both thoroughly enjoyed it. Great diner in the casino...highly recommend it

We always end up here for a meal whenever we stay at Green Valley Ranch. It's your typical hotel cafe so nothing really special but they have great late night specials 11pm - 6am for less than $6. We've come here early for pancakes, since you can't beat the price, but we actually like most is getting a caramel apple to go from the cafe counter. While there are better options off campus this is a decent place to grab a meal late/early. The staff is usually friendly too.

Mai Mai made my coffee and recommended pastries for my son. Super friendly and helpful.

12/19/24 Had a few hours before heading back to the airport- It's great to see yogurt and granola offerings.. Went with the granola and yogurt, side of bacon and a short stack.. Server was great, especially when I asked if she could split the yogurt.. Food was hot and just enough..

They are actually doing the best they can since they are very short of staff. One customer in the bar said to the bartender "its busy today" and she replied "Stupidly busy", It was sad to hear the staff say that to a customer. Then another staff said " this is shit". My husband and I look at each other like damn. We were actually lucky with our waitress, she was so sweet and always checking on us. Even though you can see that she was very overwhelmed. Food delicious as always! The ambience was ok just wish that they had more people working so the stress wouldn't show.

As a frequent flyer to the Brass Fork, the Lucky Penny offers the same specials as they do. Which was great because we came for the late night menu. If you can tolerate a late night meal, consider the specials. Service was very good, our server was very delightful and attentive. So if you're on this side of town, consider stopping in.

Give me a coffee shop open 24 hours with old school keno and I'm happy!! We ate here twice during or brief stay. The breakfast was yummy, the tv's and short walk to keno desk was great and the price was right! Our waiter was so sweet and overall a great experience. It brought me back (in a good way) to my childhood picking keno numbers for my grandmother! I'll never not love a casino cafe!! Thank you Lucky Penny!

First time here the Prime Rib I requested was medium and I received well done not a good reflection of the cook who can't time meat. The Cast Iron Cinnamon Roll was great along with the service. I will try the prime rib one more time to see if they can get it right. Prime rib served daily at 4pm

This place is so clean and busy! The penny Denny was ok other than the fact I asked for the eggs to be extra poached and the were not. The hollandaise sauce was really whipped and pretty good. It being on sour dough break made it really delicious. The Denver omelette was good!

Lucky Penny is a cafe located in Green Valley Ranch casino. I honestly havent eaten at the cafe in awhile BUT there is a bakery counter at the front entrance that i frequent a lot! Lots of different specialty desserts such as Tiramisu, strawberry pastries, cookies, & muffins. Dont walk past - i urge you to try the desserts as they are very yummy!

One of the many options at the fabulous Green Valley Ranch resort in Henderson. Open 24 hours ( it also services the hotel rooms). Diner type but more. It has a bakery display in front with many delish house made choices. From the simple omelettes & burgers to fluffy lemon-blueberry ricotta pancakes, prime rib, fish & chips. Craft cocktails & many coffee options. Play Keno as you eat! ( right next to Keno parlor) Breakfast was great every morning and the $15.99 Chinese Chicken Salad with iceberg, cabbage, crispy chicken, red bell pepper, scallions, mandarin oranges, cilantro, almonds, sesame seeds, crispy wonton strips, rice noodles, sesame vinaigrette was huge, yummy, and well worth the price. Very good food, nice portions, and open 24 hours !

For some reason I didn't expect much from my hotel casino diner but I had to work late so I settled for it. Luckily I was pleasantly surprised. My avocado toast was flavorful and filling without being too heavy. Service was good, the place was busy and it didn't take too long. I guess I should fix my bad attitude.

So far I've only had breakfast foods, but those were really good. Pancakes are super, plus their eggs and hash browns always hit the spot. Service has been excellent, both with the food order and checking in afterwards. Really cool little oasis of comfort food in the middle of a nice casino. Wish I had the schedule of my younger days, where I could take advantage of their specials from I believe 11 pm - 6 am. But I wouldn't hesitate to visit any time of day or night.

In the casino, and 24 hours open!! We've been there for breakfast, lunch and dinner- everything is great and the service is super too!

The Lucky Penny is a small but clean cafe. The wait staff was pleasant and very attentive. The cashier had a bit of a attitude especially towards myb3 year nephew who is 3 had his hands on the bakery display glass looking at the cute cakes and cookies. She rudely shouted "Don't touch the glass". I was confused since there was another guy touching the glass a few moments later. The food was okay. My steak and grilled shrimp taste it burnt. But I think it was because it was grilled flamed. Overall a decent experience

7/25/2025 My auntie and I went to eat late dinner last night at Luck Penny restaurant inside in the casino. The foods so delicious and the service was great and super quick and fast, we waited for ten or fifteen minutes. The ambiance was okay. I love their chicken wings.

Ate here on Oct 4, 2025. Lots of available tables. Your wait is at least 20 to 30 minutes to be seated at a table. Then you'll Order your food and WAIT another 40 minutes. People who got seated after you, get served before you. Pancakes were flat cakes. Cheeseburger bun soggy as though they dropped a glass of water on the bun. It's under renovation. But, I don't think I would ever return.

Have been coming here for year the service and ambiance are both great.I like the ambiance because it's not super busy in here and it's a calming environment. The food whatever you may order is great. You definitely get what you pay for here. Love that it it open late. Good portion size as well. Food is never salty , and good selection from meat eater to vegetarians.

Lucky Penny is a solid option at Green Valley Ranch given it's large menu. I have ordered it both dining in and as takeout to my room. Staff has always been friendly and the venue very clean. The cinnamon roll is a decadent standout item, but share it because it's crazy sweet. Downside is that it's quite expensive, but all things are, especially in a casino.

So I went to Bingo decide to get some breakfast. My breakfast was made very fast within two minutes impressed with that I got to go, but the ambience of the restaurant was laid like Sunday morning should be. My to go experience was at the bar in the service pretty good. I've had a French toast before and it is delicious.

Service was great, but food was disappointing. I had the Chinese Chicken Salad which I won't order again. Tons of purple cabbage and hard or barely edible chicken pieces. Tasted like the chicken had been refried several times.

Love it! Taste Good! Ariana the server was great! Grilled salmon is Pricey but yummy and well presented, cooked freshly. Highly recommended

Had a good breakfast here on a Friday morning. Was somewhat busy but the staff kept things moving. Split a denver omlet with my husband, which was tasty but quite heavy on the oil, next time I'll ask for the toast butter on the side. Had a latte which was pretty small and not very warm, probably since the server had to go over to the front cafe area to pick it up. In the future I'd do a drip coffee instead as my husband's was piping hot and came out much faster. The desserts and pastries in the display case looked amazing, next time I'll go for those!

We LOVE Lucky Penny at GVR and a huge part of that is because of MaiMai!! She is fantastic and always takes care of us. The food and drinks are always on point, but MaiMai has become a real staple of our trips to GVR and Lucky Penny. She has been there from the beginning and always makes us feel warm and welcomed. Thank you MaiMai!

I absolutely love this place for brunch! I've been here twice and have not been disappointed. Lucky penny is not hard to find. It does get busy on the weekends. Service is pretty much on top when I come here! I saw many people do order take out. The first time I came here I had the Lucky 3 way which they served one of the best and fluffiest pancakes ever. Omg it was so good that I had finished it all. This time I got the Chilaquiles. So you don't come here expecting a small portion okay? This isn't a fancy shmancy restaurant. You come here to eat your heart out! The plates here can be shared if you wanted to, but who likes to share?! The chilaquiles was amazing! It still has the crunch to it and the ranchero sauce was on point!! So filling. I thought I couldn't finish it! But I did lol. Ambiance is casual. Do get here early on weekends! My favorite part is the smell they produce when walking in the district early mornings. I love this place!

Tried the cheeseburger special. Can't beat the $5.99 price. Not the greatest, but it was decent and came with crispy fries. Staff is friendly as usual. 3.5 star for the combo.

Best experience from valley parking to bellhop to the room most especially to Lucky Penny Restaurant at this place, Green Valley Ranch Henderson. Ms. Mai Mai assisted us promptly and have our table ready in less than a minute. Very energetic and very attentive to our needs. Thank you Ms. Mai Mai for letting us have a good dining experience. I will defenitely recommended this place to my family and friends.

Ate after spending a night at the Poker Machines at the bar, watching Sunday Night football. Decided to grab dinner at The Lucky Penny, I told my husband that I was having the meal that i would choose if I was on Death Row and had to choose my last meal. Dramatic? Perhaps? I had the Salmon with burned Brussel sprouts and sweet potato puree! It was SO, SO good. Not the best picture but trust me, if this your thing, it was close to heaven. Hubby had the Prime Rib, he said it was good. Service was good. Would return. Ambiance is dining room, not fancy, just very comfortable.

Stopped in for some appetizers with a friend. The bartender was very nice but after ordering my drink, he informed me that he doesn't drink and had never actually tasted his cocktails. Which wouldn't have been a problem except my drink (a cosmopolitan) was awful. We had the calamari and chicken nachos. The nachos were good and filling but the calamari was pretty chewy.

Located inside Green Valley Ranch resort. Lucky Penny is open 24/7. I came at 2pm and was immediately seated. The restaurant is super clean and lighting is great. You can play Keno while dining here. I ordered a Caesar salad with shrimp and their clam chowder. The Caesar salad had 5 giant shrimp and the clams in the chowder were tender. Salad tasted very fresh and the temperature of the chowder was excellent. Overall, an excellent experience for a 24/7 diner. I would definitely eat here again as there is a great selection of food.

Good food and service. We ate here twice. Once late night snacks... or we thought! The portions are huge! Food is really good. Had French dip, fish tacos, turkey club and nachos. Everyone was happy with their selections. No one finished their meal. Could really share. The second time, had the fruit platter (the fruit/melon wasn't ripe). The waiters are pleasant and efficient. Deco is old but I hear Green Valley plans to remodel next year. It doesn't take away from the experience tho. It's on the edge of the gambling area, so you have a moderate amount of noise.

The food was really good. Service was quick considering it was 4am and there was only 1 person waitressing. Overall a nice place to grab breakfast on the early morning.

Lucky Penny is just ok. I've tried many items from the menu. Hash browns are usually only cooked on one side. I can't tell you how many times one of my relatives have sent them back to be better well done. Bacon's pretty good. Long story short, I've found the Omlettes and the Prime Rib to be the best bets ie sure things. They usually don't leave bottles of condiments on the tables, but instead little tiny dishes of whatever you ask for. So if you douse your fries in ketchup, you may want to order 2 or 3 little dishes of ketchup. Whatever condiment you need, if they already didn't give it to you, they will be happy to get it for you. Staff is usually pretty nice. Coffee? It's not bad. I'm not that picky about coffee.

Let me start by saying the staff at this location at green valley ranch was fantastic and they always are. We as a family are regulars and love dining here. This time we walked in for a to go order and everything was quick easy and the bartender Manny took great care of us. As we left the handles of the paper bags ripped and the bag smacked hard on the ground. Everything looks good and the hosting staff offered another bag but I carried it out with my arm under the bag and it was much easier. The issue arose once we were home and found the syrup and butter containers had broken from the impact of the floor and had socked into all the bag. I called the location (this is the only issue I had is the number online is not correct and the operator connected me to the red rock location twice before finally getting me to the lucky Penny GVR location). Jack the manager took my call and was so helpful and understood our issue offering multiple potential solutions. I would highly recommend if you are in GvR to come and enjoy wonderful food and service, and know that they are great people working here who continue to prove great service still exists. The biscuits are so good. We also got a cinnamon roll, French toast, and the yogurt and granola. The cinnamon roll was okay, but they just serve it in a cold cast iron skillet. The French toast was very orangey and soft. Overall, unless you want biscuits, this isn't a super great place for breakfast. They seated us quickly but the food took a little while to come out.

24 hour café, located inside the Green Valley, Ranch Casino. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner and even has an in-house bakery. We came out about 9 PM on a holiday Wednesday night, and we were seated right away. The wait staff was very friendly and attentive. For my meal I had the taquitos, which is an appetizer but enough food for a full meal. The restaurant does have a full bar as well. We were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food.

Haven't seen anyone review the chicken parm so I had to try it myself..,. Got it for breakfast and I was pleasantly surprised! chicken was moist, salted and breaded to perfection! Spaghetti was al dente, but definitely could use a bit more salt. Garlic bread was soft yet crunchy. We had Nora as our waiter! She was a delight and had very insightful things to say about the menu and our food choices at 10am. Great clean place. Definitely a go to spot for breakfast, lunch AND a late night dinner.

This location is always super super clean!!!! The food is always fresh and out in a great amount of time! The refills are always super fast The staff is absolutely the greatest. They always greet us so happily and welcoming. They know the menu so well! They help make the best suggestions. Thank you for all that you do! We U!!
