Yelp
A lot of the locals have raved about this place to us, so we thought we would give it a try while we were in town.
My wife has Celiac (and some other food allergies/sensitivities), so we were really excited that this place proudly advertised that they offered gluten free pizza. Once we sat down and asked about it, the server told us that they prepare it in a separate area, use separate utensils, but cook it in the same oven as all the regular pizzas. So, if you have a gluten allergy, you are out of luck and are almost guaranteed that your pizza will get cross-contaminated. Why they couldn't just bake the gluten free pizza on a pan rather than letting it touch the oven surface directly is a mystery. Seems like an easy win, but they wouldn't do it, even when we asked.
Almost every other item on the menu is glutenful, so my wife ended up eating a plain old Caesar salad (with no croutons) while my daughter and I split a regular pizza. Not a whole lot of fun for her.
The thin-crust Neopolitan-style pizza pretty good. No complaints about the quality. But it was $16 for a 14" pepperoni. That's pretty pricey, and not really worth it for "pretty good." If it was the most amazing pizza ever, I might pay that much for it, but I think I can get "pretty good" pizza for less than that.
The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant. But overall, it felt like a bait & switch on the gluten free pizza and the regular pizza was good but not worth the price in my opinion.
