If it weren’t for the tasty flight of beers and being able to have a GF option for my celiac friend, this would have been a 1 star review. Like a couple other reviewers said, we felt very unwelcome. When we walked in and said we came from very far away to taste their beer, the kilted bartender was unmoved and had a blank face. We asked if he was ok, and he said he was in his final hour of his shift, after a 70-hour week. Seems like he needs a break, for his sake and for the sake of this business’s reputation.

Google
Unfriendly staff. Highly recommended any other brewery. Plenty in this area that will treat you much better. Someone working here aggressively approached us and we’d love to talk to management. This is an extremely unsafe environment. Edit: turns out the person that aggressively approached us was the owner, so I’m sure there will not be a response. If you read their reactions to other people they don’t take any constructive criticism and you are much better off going somewhere else to avoid the terrible customer service.

Visiting from Ohio, went two nights in a row and had an absolute blast hanging out with the bartender and enjoyed the amazing gluten free beers! My fav was the Scottish but they all were really good (I’m celiac)! Space is big there are games to play while you have a flight (or two or three). Highly recommend!

Google
Such a great experience at the brewery today, Saturday September 30! The beer was absolutely delicious! The flavors were phenomenal and none of them disappointed in the least. Service was extra good! Friendly staff, so wished we were closer as we would definitely be regulars. I have celiac disease and this is one of the very few DEDICATED GLUTEN FREE breweries in the whole United States and I’ve been to the best, as we plan our trips around that. BTW my wife who has no allergies and is not celiac thoroughly enjoyed all the brews, This establishment is super clean and you could probably eat the delicious GF Whoopie Pies that they offer right off the floor! Lol, not that I would do that, but I really am here to tell you, don’t miss out on this brewery if you have a chance to try it. Gluten allergy or not. it’s Incredible!!!! Thank you for the fantastic experience here. Staff there today was absolutely awesome!!!! ❤️👏🍻🍺

Google
Five stars because it’s good beer. It just so happens that it is gluten free. We stumbled across the Lucky Pigeon by accident. I assumed I was going to be drinking seltzer, soda, or suffering later… but was absolutely delighted to find out they are exclusively gluten free. The beer is great as well. Really like the BLDG 13 (American Lager) it has a nice full body for a lager and a bit of a toasty/roasted aftertaste that I love.

Wow... Was just great.. Thanks Eon, so great to chat. Beers were Very good. We enjoyed them all. Btw the GF whoopie pies were really good too. Thanks to all there again for the great gf beer and a really comfortable atmosphere. Eon, you were really nice to spend a bit of time with us..explaining Maine to us. ;) Keep up the great work guys. We Celiac's love you! If we lived here we'd come every day. ;)

Google
Made it a point to stop here on our way to Portland. The location is amazing and the beers are delicious! I was recently diagnosed with celiac and knowing I'd be missing out on breweries was a little bit of a bummer. These beers are the real deal, even my non celiac husband loves them! The only downside is its 2 hours from where I live! Ha! The merch is so cute too!

Google
We are from New Jersey and it is so hard to find decent gluten free beer. We got way more than decent beer. We got incredible beer with so much variety! We could not be happier with the products that the Lucky pigeon produces. Not only are the owners incredibly sweet, knowledgeable, and helpful, but they are also such down to earth people. We are will be taking home cases of this incredible beer!!!

Yelp
I liked the vibe. A chill and friendly environment. Everything is neat and clean. We were here to pick up beer for a party and ended up, staying for a few samples because it was just a warm and inviting setting and there were seats available. The flavors are lovely and not overwhelming. Almost everything we tried was flavor forward with a mild finish. The staff at the bar, were super nice and welcoming. Very patient as customers waffled while deciding on a beer. They also can make suggestions if you aren't sure. We loved Flocktoberfest and were glad to be able to snag a case before they sold out. They have a few dedicated parking spots - which we lucked out in getting one. We will definitely be back.

Yelp
A fabulous gluten free brewery! We came here on a Thursday evening and there was plenty of seating available. Both my husband and I got a flight of beers so we could try various options. The beers are great and they taste pretty similar to the regular beers.. I'm tempted to have my beer snob friends try and figure out if they are gluten free beers. My absolute favorite was the nut brown ale. They don't serve food but there are a lot of options that serve gluten free food options. I will definitely visit again if I'm in the area.

Yelp
Their drivers are dangerous on the road. Onserved one of their vans again this morning driving extremely erratic. Speeding, changing lanes without their blinkers, cutting other drivers off etc. My personal vehicle was almost hit by one of their drivers this morning! Ive seen enough! I reported them to the local police departments so they are aware of this erratic driver or drivers behavior on public roadways! For a business vehicle to be putting other people's lives in danger is not professional nor acceptable.

Yelp
Gluten-free brewery in the Pepperell Mill. Beers taste great, would never know they were GF! This was a fun destination to meet up with a friend who has a gluten allergy. Good variety of IPAs, stouts, and sours for a small brewery! My favorites were the Wingspan DIPA and the Skua sour. The owner was kind and suggested some gluten-friendly lunch options nearby.

Yelp
A pioneer in the world of gluten free beer, lucky pigeon is setting a new standard. All their beers are masterfully brewed to taste, look, and feel like regular gluten-y beers. Gluten intolerant or not, you will not be disappointed with the quality of their brews. Also, a fun safe space for karaoke and trivia! Hottest bartenders in Biddeford!

Yelp
Loved the beer and the staff. Great place to hold an event for those who drink beer to see what gluten free beer can actually taste like when made well.

Yelp
Just happed to stumble upon this place after having lunch near by. So happy we did!! Absolutely loved the logo, lucky pigeon... had to get a zip up sweatshirt and a long sleeve shirt immediately! Than it was too me to try their beers! We have a lady in our group that's gluten free so it was a huge surprise to see that all their beers are gluten free!! Great back story about g Hoe their founder Kathleen "pidge" Pigeon also is gluten free and had this great idea to create a brewery with all GF beers! I went with a flight, enjoyed the rock dove ipa, pink footed a session ipa but my fav was their wingspan... a amazing double ipa. Really love this new brewery in the historic peppered mills place. Great addition!

Yelp
All things Gluten Free!!! Especially beer! If you have celiac or cannot have gluten, welcome back to drinking beer without the fear of getting "glutened" (not a word I know but if you know you know). The service is exceptional! Always friendly and inviting. They generally have a live band, Karaoke or a guest foodie (gf of course). Come on down, the beer is amazing !

Yelp
Did not tell my husband that this was a gluten-free Brewery. When I told him after the first beer, he did not believe me! All their beers are so good! Staff is amazing! Love their taproom! Highly recommend! Can't wait for them to distribute near us!

Yelp
On a quest to find the purveyors of tasty, gluten free beer.....success! A little hard to find after dark, signage subtle, and strange parking lot. The ambiance is Spartan with simple tables, simple bar, and a great view of the Brewery. You can buy cans to go or stay and enjoy a pour. The beer is very good. Did I mention it is gluten free? They have four or five items to eat with your beer. We opted for the mini whoopie pies. Awesome! Although, the beer exceeded expectations, it was the service delivered by the bartender that stood out during our stay. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and funny. Thank you for making our pit stop most enjoyable. We'll be back next time we're in town.

Yelp
Hosted a class reunion here and Bev was phenomenal! Responsive, answered any and all questions and was super helpful the day off. The beer was delicious and there was a wide array of options. When we needed space for our food, she was quick to help and offered support throughout the event. Overall, would recommend the spot to anyone who likes good beer and welcoming, attentive staff!

Yelp
Fell upon this beer at Maize in Brunswick and had to check out the brewery after falling in love with the Little Brown Job brown ale. The brewery is GREAT, we chatted up with Bev who shared some history and recommendations, which fed into our (ever growing) flight. My non-gf beer snob husband loved it and grabbed a couple 4-packs to go. Would love to see them mimic Brunswick's Flight Deck setting with outdoor seating and rotating food trucks, where people meet up with friends and their families and spend hours. I do happen to tag along to the flight deck but can't partake other than the gf food truck options and KNOW I could convince my clan to follow simply because the beer tastes every bit as good as non-gf rivals and the people are amazing. Cheers to you LP, hope to have you around always!

Yelp
I am not gluten free and choose to have Lucky Pigeon over nonGF beer. A wide selection of types, gluten free, and doesn't compromise on taste - unheard of. I search out Lucky Pigeon at liquor stores to avoid the bloated "after drinking" feeling. If you like IPAs try the Rock Dove, it's one of my all time favorite IPAs. Brewery itself is a revitalized textile mill. Very cool atmosphere with cozy vibes and friendly staff.

Yelp
I am THRILLED to have a gluten-free brewery in Maine!! My husband had a sensitivity, but is a super craft-beer lover, so we have been (not-so) patiently waiting for this brewery to open! We came in on opening day, parked close by and walked over. If you follow the path (outside) to the left of Sweetcream they're down a little ways on the right. You can enter through the building as well but it isn't quite as straightforward. All of the folks working were so friendly and we loved learning more about how/why they opened (one of the owners is GF). The beers were great! We had very low expectations, because typically GF beers just don't quite do it, but we were so pleasantly surprised just how good they are. I loved the blonde and my husband loved the IPA! We thought the brown was surprisingly good too. All of them were very flavorful and super fresh. The vibe is your standard brewery with an industrial feel and quite a few tables and booths. They also have some board games to keep you entertained. I look forward to many more visits!! Thanks Lucky Pigeon!!!

Yelp
Cool little place down in the growing mill area in Biddeford. All gluten free beer in different varieties. Owners are great to chat with and passionate about the business. Sublime Taco had a pop up inside to offer some great bar food with the beer. Even non-gluten free patrons love the selection.

Yelp
4 stars for being all gf! I am not completely gf, but avoid it when possible as I have a sensitivity to it. The beers here were good considering they were all done without gluten. The sour and ipa were the best. Service was super friendly and the building is cool. Not necessarily the best beer if you are a connoisseur, but a solid choice for gf.

Yelp
We went to Lucky Pigeon for a work outing. That atmosphere was super chill and inviting. I had the sour which was incredible. I also loved that they had a lot of events such trivia and karaoke. It was cool to see they were going to sponsor an event to support the Trevor Project.

Yelp
Great brewery for gluten free beer that doesn't taste like GF beer! They had five different beers on draft and they were all excellent, (the blonde IPA was my favorite) they even have a GF food truck outside. I know how hard it is to find Good GF beer, Lucky Pigeon is 100% GF! First in the state of Maine! Check it out!!

Yelp
Was in town to visit the University of NE, and went here with my gluten intolerant daughter. Absolutely fantastic beer, and had a great time talking to "Pidge" about all things beer, Biddeford & Maine. I could not tell the beer was gluten free - it tasted THAT good. One interesting bonus: after having a couple, I did not get that "full belly" feeling from regular beer. I may have brought some home with me :)

Yelp
Such a great experience on our way from Boston to Portland. Customer service was phenomenal.. had great conversations about beer. You literally couldn't tell the beer was gluten free. I had 5 different styles and all delicious.

Yelp
Finally stopped in to check out Biddeford's newest brewery! While I am not gluten-free, I appreciate the concept and recognize the importance of having spaces like this. You can park out front right off of Main Street and follow the signs to find the tasting room, or you can go down Laconia Street (side street) and park down there to enter the brewery more directly. When we walked into the tasting room, we were so impressed with how put together everything was for having just opened. I loved that they had all of the details up and running from day 1. They have all the details, including apparel, signage, plenty of seating, and self-serve water. The space was friendly and open. Staff behind the bar was great. There were only 3 beers on draft, so we decided to grab a flight of 4 to share (we doubled up on one of the beers). Overall, the blonde ale was our favorite- we did not care too much for the other beers but recognize that we are not regular gluten-free beer drinkers. Happy to have this place in Biddeford!

Yelp
Very friendly tasting room. Family friendly. They have games if you would like to unplug!!

Yelp
Lucky Pigeon is a dream come true as someone who enjoys beer but follow a gluten free diet. Great service and a variety of delicious brews to try.
