ATV Records Review - Downtown - Miami - The Infatuation

"This Downtown club is a descendant of the Electric Pickle, a beloved Wynwood spot that closed. Regulars of the Pickle will probably recognize the huge, colorful disco ball that now sits in the middle of ATV, which is a small room that’s mostly dance floor. They book solid DJs here and also put a little sticker over your phone’s camera before you come in - so this is more a place to dance and appreciate music than buy shots and take pictures with your friends. It’s also attached to Melinda’s, an outdoor bar and restaurant. You can step outside for a drink if you need some fresh air." - Ryan Pfeffer

My son and I had the best time checking out Lucky Records on a recent trip to Miami!! We scored some great finds and really enjoyed our time at the shop. Definitely make a stop at Lucky Records if you're shopping for vinyl in Miami!!

Google
Dont let the small size fool you, its always packed with a great stuff! Grab a nice drink at the bar and start digging. My man Tony is a Bible of knowledge and can always recommend something nice based on your music taste! I consider Lucky, my home away from home, attention like no other and great titles to grow your collection. SUPER RECOMMENDED! and no, im not affiliated with the store but I will be a customer for life

Stopped by Wynwood to grab some lunch at 1-800 lucky and in the entrance of the food hall is a record store. I have a turntable at home so I decided a would peep in really quick to see what they had and maybe grow my record collection. The space is small, but the selection is phenomenal and uniquely curated. The guy working the store which I later found out was the owner, was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. You can tell that this is his passion. He would ask the right questions in order to have a better idea of what you are into and what he can suggest. Definitely will be coming back to Lucky Records!!

A-to-the-O !

Google
Grab a drink first and then start digging at this small but pretty nice record store down in Wynwood which is full of nice and rare ones. Try every crate here, it’s worth it. Some prices are a bit too high when it comes to grading though.

Google
A small store but with excellent taste, they have a very good selection of used and new records. Manuel is always with his good vibes willing to help you.

Google
Lucky Records is a very comprehensive store that has an assortment of strong new releases and an extraordinary selection of used LP's & singles. Rock, pop, hip-hop, jazz, soul, dance music, reggae, soundtracks, Latin, and world music. There's collectibles & wall pieces for true heads. There's edits, 45's, and DJing digs. It's founded by a prolific DJ and collector in the Miami community. There are some records there where you might ever see just once in your life. And a store like that is to be deeply respected and loved.

Yelp
My husband love music and records, so we went in to check out what they had...he browsed for a while and found a copy of Chick Corea, an album that he did not have and that he loved the songs in it...so he paid $8 for a double album!! What a deal.. He was in heaven. I was busy checking the food hall in the back of the building and he was happy as a clown checking out all the old LP's in the front of the store. Nice fun place, not very big, but with a lot of oldies that many people who love music cherish.

Yelp
All music lovers this is the place right now for your vinyl needs and wants - And right after you purchase your records walk on over to 1800 and grab some delicious lunch while you listen to some great music.

Yelp
A cool shop located in the Wynwood area of Miami. The layout is comprised of two different areas - the record shop and the bars/restaurant section. The record section is just left of the entry and is rather small but contains a number of used and new albums of different genres. The bar/restaurant areas are super cool offering both indoor and outdoor seating options , Japanese food and DJ booth setup. A great place to hangout and get the party started !

Yelp
Opened in 2017 this 600 foot boutique record store resides at the entrance to the 1-800-Lucky food hall. The idea of the store was conceived by COYO TACO confounders Alan Drummond and Sven Vogtland and partner Gabi Chiriboga. Containing 2,000 vinyl records, the collection is curated by Devin Horowitz from the hip hop label Nature Sounds and local DJ Ynot. In addition to the records it's a convenience store selling lottery tickets, bottled water, 1-800-Lucky souvenirs like T shirts, and Japanese snacks, candy, and Ramune soda. My daughter is a vinyl collector so she stopped to look over the collection but since there was no Punk records she left unimpressed. Besides selling things the store also hosts social events like album release parties, singing events, and signings. Vinyl fans will want to pay this store and visit and when done there is treasure trove of food treats to sample in the adjoining food hall.

Yelp
This place is great, selection is broad, prices are good. Have purchased many many records here. The first time I visited I was sad, and a guy behind the counter named Tony gave me a hug and a kiss on the forehead. I've been a regular ever since. Great customer service nonetheless. Yelp
Not a bad shop. It's small and I didn't find anything I wanted that day I was there but they did have some interesting used items in the bins. I wasn't seeing lots of bargains but definitely not as overpriced as a few places in the area. Recommended, it won't take long to go through the crates in this store.

Yelp
Lucky Records is the 5th record store in Miami-Dade, Wynwood to be exact. Not too many options huh? Some think records are a thing of the past but for some collecting vinyl is a hobby and spinning vinyl is a talent that only a few still have after technology has made Djing as simple as pressing a button. Lucky records is a 600 square foot store inside of 1-800-Lucky, an Asian food hall concept. Lucky records leads the entrance to the food hall and the only way to enter. It has more than 2,000 vinyl records in stock. Lucky is curated by Devin Horwitz, founder of the Brooklyn-based hip-hop label Nature Sounds, and local DJ Ynot (AKA Tony Garcia). Not only do they sell records but they plan to have exclusive releases and will bring in acts for signings and performances. They have a large used and new vinyl section; everything from hip-hop, jazz, rock, R&B, world music, dance etc. They also hope to have pop-ups within the store where they put Dj's & producers collection up for sale. Street parking is available in the surrounding area. A cool place to check out on your stroll around Wynwood!

Yelp
Lucky Records would not take back two warped records they sold me. Thankfully, Chase Visa Card got involved and resolved the dispute in my favor. If you go to this store and purchase new records you need to know that if you buy it you own it and they don't back up their merchandise. This is the only Record Store I've been to since 1974 with this policy. Beware!

Yelp
Great record shop! Friendly owner and a nice selection. Highly recommended! Stop by this place any time you're in Wynwood if you pibe Vinyl.

Yelp
An amazing little gem of a record shop! They pack SO MANY records in such a small space. There's also amazing food within the same building. It's a great spot.

Yelp
Love Lucky Records! They always make it easy for me to find the records I need. Easy to get in touch with and super friendly customer service!!

Yelp
Wow, this is THE SPOT!! Amazing selection of new and classic LPs, great ambiance and super helpful staff. I was blown away with the knowledge and rare records I was able to find at Lucky Records. It was a true pleasure to kick it with Tony while he told me about the lengths he goes to dig for some of these hard to find gems. If you're in Miami or out of town, the selection and staff are reasons to stop by every time you're close to Wynwood. Highly recommend, you won't be disappointed!

Yelp
My favorite record store in the Miami area! Lucky has a great selection of records and new stuff coming in all the time. Friendly staff and they are quick with the recommendations. Plus you can shop and grab a bite at the food court in the back! A win win.

Yelp
overpriced + limited selection = very meh. The bar and the food are totally independent of this review. If you are purely in the market for some vinyl, save yourself the hassle. The young woman working the front counter was so passive and not helpful whatsoever. Go to Brooklyn Vinyl or Sweat Records if you truly looking for a worthwhile vinyl shopping experience.

Yelp
This is one of the only few record stores I could find in the whole Miami area. It is a cool place located in the front of a sushi restaurant called 1-800-Lucky. When we walked in, a worker came up to us right away to ask if we needed any help. I had a few questions for her about how the bins were organized and she was super knowledgeable about it all. The bins were organized by genre, not alphabetical so since we were looking for some very specific albums, that made it a little difficult. But if we went in just to browse than it wouldn't have been an issue. They have a really great selection of albums here.

Yelp
Highly impressed !! this place is literally the best if they don't have it then it really isn't that great anyway... Just kidding but in all seriousness the curation of this shop is top-tier!!

Yelp
Great music, great food options, awesome atmosphere, which ranges from underground asian food market to your typical hip hop club to an upbeat and chill house vibe. Love the diversity and overall scene, definitely my favorite spot in the area!

Yelp
Small store, but great selection. The owners are extremely knowledgeable about music and are helpful. I think he's name is tony ? I'm so happy with my purchase !! Definitely coming back. They also have a huge $5 bin section with so many options. They have cool hip hop socks, hats, t shirts and gear.

Yelp
When I walk into Lucky Records I feel at home, not because I live in an Asian food court, but because of how warm and welcoming Lucky Records is. They will play records for you, special order records for you, and have vinyl nerd conversations with you. I gladly pay THE ASKING PRICE, cause you're supporting a local small business and that's what it's all about, plus you can get drinks at the bar, eat a chicken sandwich, and come back to dig all within the same complex.

Yelp
Lucky records may be small in size but what they have to offer is anything but little. Whether you are looking for classic rock or a but more obscure salsa records, they have plenty to choose from and at a fair price. One of the owners (the big fella) is also an amazing dj. Highly recommended!

Yelp
I was so excited to hear there was going to be a record store in wynwood because I mean... Why isn't there one already?? Well turns out this is a record wall.. And I guess I can't blame them for the lack of selection with the lack of space they're working with. Most of the records are new so if you're a bin digger looking for dollar gems, this isn't the spot unfortunately. Of the used bins that were sectioned off by genre there wasn't much variety and the prices were okay.

Yelp
The other day I had the best time ever at this little record store in the heart of Wynwood. Don't let the size of this place fool you it's packed with heat. The girl at the counter Amaris was very entertaining attentive and knowledgeable. She's a huge asset to your company and I will definitely be back. If I could give this place more than five stars I would. Congrats and I wish you guys many years of success.

Doug S.

Yelp
Was meeting people at the restaurants in Wyn wood and discovered this place. What a gem, was shocked at how well the staff knew the inventory, led me directly to what I was looking for. Cool place and great vibe! I live in west palm and emailed the store with a minor issue when I left and Tony(guessing he's the owner) responded to me and dealt with me timely and professionally! He didn't have to go above and beyond to remedy my problem...but he did! I love when you go into a small business and they clearly have a stake in their success, it really shows!
