Needed livescan and they were listed on the website. Alan answered the phone when I called to make an appointment and a same day appointment was made. Arrived a little early but Alan was able to accommodate me. The process was quick and simple, everything was digital so my fingers never got dirty. The whole process took about 15 minutes. The cost for the livescan was one of the best in the City but it was the convenience of Lucky Spot more than the cost but saving a few dollars or $10s of dollars doesn’t hurt. While there I also bought lottery tickets, savings from other places. They also sell scratchers! I would use them again.

Used their notary service here. Alan was very professional, efficient, and knowledgeable. There are very few notaries are open on the weekends so we were happy to see that this place is open Saturdays. Alan also said they open Sundays during Tax season. Price is pretty is good too - $15 per signature. They also offer mobile services starting at $30. They offer other useful services like passport renewal and photos, and livescan fingerprinting.

UPDATE: They moved across the street to: 1944 Irving Street now. Thank goodness. I've been using Alan the accountant over there for many years now. He is very patient in professional. They also have a lot of side business stuff in a side they're like traveling and Lottery and other knick-knacks.

I have my live scan done and Alan provided excellent service. He explained the whole process to me and the scan took less than 15 minutes. I highly recommend this spot.

The notary girl helped me with the notary of my claim for total loss of auto. Very helpful to point out the date of notarization I wrote in was incorrect.

don't come here u will waste your time they never have big wins like 100$ and up they are always doing bad business and abuse the customers while they play scratchers they owe me a lot of money.

My current employer requested all security employees have fingerprints provided to them. I had called Lucky Spot to see if they could take me at Noon. He asked if I could make it at 11:00am, but I wasn't available at that time. He told me to come in by Noon and he would accommodate me. I walked into Lucky Spot just before Noon and asked if they performed inked fingerprinting for another potential job, which they unfortunately do not. However, my current employer requires Live Scan be done, so this would still work out for my needs. The technician helped me right away, explaining everything he was doing while performing the fingerprinting through the Live Scan system. He was very kind and very accommodating, which I very much appreciated. I also received an emailed receipt of payment for the services he provided. For Live Scan fingerprinting services, Lucky Spot is the place to go!!

Vary nice and convenient place everyone there is so nice good customer service 5 star!! It is open 7 days even on holidays another 5 star!!!! They do many kinds of different services. Notary, tax, passport photo, muni lifeline renewal, and recently started livescan finger printing. Go here for everything. Usually it's not busy but if it gets busy they also have scratchers and lottery to keep you distracted. Come here you might get lucky :-)

We used Lucky Spot to send money to relatives in China through Western Union. The staff at Lucky Spot is very efficient and helpful! We also used their Notary Public service. They are fluent in English and Chinese. We highly recommend them if you need those services.

Lucky Spot is an appropriate name for a place that sells lotto tickets. video rentals and sales no longer happen here. items available here: -lucky envelopes- like to receive them but don't like to pass them out -girlie mags from hong kong: has anything changed in the last thousand years. -newspaper, yep got a newspaper here .60 -travel agency inside : travelinng after i retired. -lotto: never can win at this so passed. sights: -place was busy, no one reading the mags though.

This place people come for Lottery tickets, fast passes, phone cards and Western Union Services.. Other than these I don't know what they sell. Friends came here for phone cards and money transfer to China before. My friends only spent $20 some odd dollars for their $2k transfer to China. And they occasionally $20 on phone cards that sometimes gets discounted very often.. I came here for the first time for a wire transfer to Indonesia today. My $2k cost $114 in service charges..

Notary public is very knowledgeable. He helped me with the Power of Attorney documents notarized and to get apostille from Ca Secretary of State so the documents could be used in Macau.

Went there to receive a Western Union money transfer. Other customers were there for the same thing and only had to show a piece of paper with the senders name and the receivers name along with the amount of money expected. I however was forced to complete a form. I didn't have all of the information on the form and he would not assist me. They are racist. They ignored me and treated me awful. If you are not Asian, don't go there.
