Got here and the vibe was cool. Was a bit dark and like mysterious. Loved the decor! They also had pool tables! The booths by the bar are also super cute and in prime positioning of TV screens! It was a bit warm so it got a bit hot lol. The food was good. Ordered a chicken pizza and it was nice and crunchy and chicken tasted yummy. The beer was good too.

Had an absolutely wonderful time at Lucky Strike Bowling with my family! As first-time visitors, the staff's communication was excellent and made us feel comfortable right from the start. The bowling was so much fun and the food was genuinely great - really impressed by the quality! The combination of excellent service, delicious food, and a fun bowling experience made for a perfect family outing. We're already planning our next visit and will definitely be back soon. Highly recommend!

Google
Took our 5-year-old to Lucky Strike Bowling for her first time and it was amazing! The staff was so patient and helpful, setting up bumpers and getting her the right size ball. Watching her face light up every time she knocked down pins was priceless! She had the biggest smile and was giggling the whole time. The staff really made her feel special and comfortable. She's already asking when we can go back! Perfect place for kids' first bowling experience.

Vibes were great! Our server Tommy was attentive to our needs and kept bringing our little party refills on the soda…kept the pitchers coming! The Music was good and over all a great bowling experience, not to mention the over the top service we got from Tommy our server. We will definitely be back for some more times during the summer.

Google
Decided to bowl an hour while we were in town and the service and lanes were great overall. But if you’re a serious bowler, this probably isn’t the place for you. String pins had some questionable scoring at times favoring the bowler but it was fun for a social outing. Lanes were on the dry side but the house balls were decent.

Update for feb1 2025: I have been here 2x before. And don't get me wrong, its a nice place for night with the guys, a date, or even just hanging out for the night. On February 1st, we had a small gathering - a bday celebration. We show up 9pm ... crowd wasn't too large, yet only one bartender. decided to wait, its a niceplace, good ambiance. Like any other time, we thought, what's 5 min in waiting. Unfortunately, that turned into 35 min before we were even acknowledged, and sitting at the bar. The couple to our right had finished a round and couldn't get another order. The man in the wheel chair was pacing up and down the bar, and no attention or acknowledgment was given to him either. Other people showed up and were asking for to be served, yet , nothing. Orders were only being done for the waiters, for literally 30 to 45 mins. We stayed because we had already set up a meeting place. Another man came, but only to help get pitchers for the tables. Once acknowledged, they move on and took someone's order who had only been there for 5 minutes ... yet we had been at the bar seat for 35 min or more. We left, and went next door, busy also, yet we're served within 5 min; food and all. Who ever was managing that location at the time, was a doing a poor job. Old review: Snazzy place. Indoor decor was on the up and up. Great feel, comfortable, and upscale compared to so many bowling 🎳 areas. Parking is ample, and the staff are friendly. Food and drinks were delicious and well priced.

Google
We got there excited to bowl. My husband ordered drinks and the bartender forgot 3 of the 4 drinks that he ordered. When we questioned it he was aggressive and took away the one drink that he remembered. We asked for the manager and he got him for us. When the manager came out he had absolutely nothing to say about his employees behavior. He stood silent as we told him what happened and the bartender continued to antagonize us with dirty looks, laughs, and making comments about us to other patrons. Ultimately we left with no refund and very disappointed with the service and the Management, or lack there of.

Google
The place has seen better days. Though people are friendly and it's always fun to bowl.

Yelp
Drinks were good. There's just only one bartender for the whole entire place so it could take a little while to get a drink a.k.a. alcoholic beverage.

Yelp
We came here around 1pm. There is no one at the front reception area. There is a sign pointing to the back of the building (past the bar area) to sign in. We checked in and redeemed our Summer Season Bowling pass that we had previously purchased online. We were given our physical passes. We then stated we wanted to play our 2 games and were given our bowling shoes. We had an amazing time playing today. Love the cosmic/dark atmosphere. It is a pretty busy place and fairly loud inside as well. We had someone come to our area and ask if we wanted to order anything. We politely declined this time. It is super simple to set up your game (easy step by step instructions). One con is they don't have enough lower weighted balls (for kids etc). The balls we used today were all too heavy. We can't wait to come back! Make sure to grab a Summer Season Pass! You definitely get what you pay for (and then some)!! The staff members we encountered today were very friendly. Great place for parties, work events, etc. They also have a lot of pool tables to play at.

Yelp
To watch sport it's a perfect spot to get seated at the bar area. The only downfall Only 1 bartender making bar drinks plus drinks for the bowling area. Food is good

Yelp
After doing a bunch of shopping, we started thinking about what to eat as a family, and while walking to the car fully loaded with shopping bags, realized, why not take advantage of Lucky Strike and make it dinner and some entertainment for the family. We haven't been bowling in a while so it was a cool experience. They were offering a special where it was $20 all you can bowl including shoes for the night. We ended up playing four games and ordered food that included pizza, hamburgers, nachos and tacos. All the food was good and came out hot and we were able to enjoy without the pressure of being on a time frame. There wasn't a lot of traffic as it was a weekday, but our server was attentive and made sure we were good to go the entire night. I never really noticed but the bowling alley pens are actually on strings to help reset them as needed vs the old skool way with the system breaking down in the back. I've seen that before, but didn't realize it was like this at Lucky Strike. All good. Still had a good time with the family making memories is important.

Yelp
All I gotta say is Val!! Val made our experience theee best!! We complicated her work life by ordering a loooot and needing 4 separate orders. She handled it like the boss she is!!

Yelp
Service here forreal sucks. Went here on a Saturday night and the guy in the front for bowling game never text the number we left. Horrible! They said 20minutes wait and 20 minutes went by we came by and the guy acted all surprised that we even came back. $60plus for 1 hour for 2 people with shoes. Will never come back here again. For the experience and service , not worth my time. Should've went to a different location instead like the one on Orange. Smh and best believe I'll leave a bad review.

Neivy Z.

Yelp
Lucky strike has been in this location for many years, yet I had never stepped foot in there. I took my 9 year with a few of her friends to celebrate her bday. We went in last minute on a Sunday evening. Thankfully they had lanes, everyone who worked there was kind and efficient. Food came out in a timely manner and was good. We didn't have any problems with the bowling experience, and our service was very attentive.
google avatar

Aiden K.

Yelp
Kourtney attempted to gaslight our party that we received the card on tab. It was misplaced and found 20 minutes later as we stood by not knowing where it is. The lie that she handed it to us was not necessary.

Ricardo C.

Yelp
We planned a birthday party at Licky strike with Tommy beeing our server and we had amazing service. From recommendations to his favorite meals, we would definitely come back again.
google avatar

Katie M.

Yelp
Can't talk about the food since we did not order anything. The service was nice and quick! We were a little bit late due to our lunch taking forever and they were able to let us go bowling at 2:30 instead of our reservation time which was 2. The ambiance was very cool! This is a very nice bowling alley! They do not have that many lanes but they have a pool table, bar, and a couple of other fun things than just bowling! Would definitely come here again!
google avatar

Yelp
Awesome bowling alley! Equipped with a full service kitchen and bar this is the best choice for a night out with friends or an evening date with a loved one. Definitely coming back for a modern date spot. They also offer pool tables and private event space.
google avatar

Caroline E.

Yelp
All bowling lanes are too crowded. There's not enough space for the lil sit in area between the lanes.

Yelp
After I left a review about my experience with the service, I was encouraged to reach out for further discussion about the incident. I provided details about the situation, but unfortunately, it seems that no resolution has been reached. I still have a damaged bowling ball, and I believe it's important for other bowlers to be aware of my experience. Anyone looking to bowl whether for practice or just for a night of fun, there are many places that are much lower in price and within the general area of Lucky Strike. Do not waste your time or money at this location.

Yelp
Weeks ago, after trying to get a table at other establishments at this mall to watch football on a Sunday, we ended up at Lucky Strike. The more traditional places for spectators all had over an hour wait. We've come back every week since. Absolutely great service from Amanda every week. We've eaten something different each week and it's always great. The thing that surprises me is we are always the only people in there watching football and at the bar. I'm not a bowler so I had no idea this place was so nice and offered a restaurant/bar with great TVs for watching sports. They could pack this place every Sunday if they got the word out as to what they offer other than bowling.
google avatar

Rosie C.

Yelp
We went for my sister's bday on a Sunday. There was around 20 of us spread out between 2 bowling lanes and the bar area. Our server Brandon was awesome. There were only 2 servers and a runner for the whole place and Brandon did an amazing job. He got everyone's order correct and always came back to check on us and put in more drink orders. He was running around the entire place but always had a smile on his face. The food was good but the service we received was excellent and unexpected. Nowadays with so many bad service at restaurants, it was so nice to receive such amazing service.

Yelp
Definitely my favorite spot to bowl! It's the cleanest, nicest and hippest alley. The ambiance is great for a night out with friends, a work gathering, or date night. The pool tables are also well maintained. Both are pricey, but so worth it. The best part is no one under 21 allowed past 9pm. The bar lounge is a very cool spot to hang out and watch the genes on the many big screens. They've got it all here, and you do get what you pay for.

Yelp
Always love going here for a great drink and fun date night. For a regular serious bowler it may not be their cup of tee but for the casual, its more than suitable in my opinion. Ambiance: This place has a fun date night/work event type of feel although I also see families with young children here too. Drinks: The drinks are pretty solid here and they seem to update the menu quite regularly which is nice for the sale of variety. Service: On a busy night the service can be a bit lacking which is understandable but overall I've never had a bad experience here with any of the servers or their service Food: The food is tastier than you would think for a bowling/bar/pool spot. Its actually quite good. My newest infatuation is with their chicken caesar salad which is a pretty large portion and so so good. Tips: Check this place out on a weekday night when its not so busy and you'll have a great time. Overall: Overall this place is a great option for a night out with the boys or with your significant other. They even have some of the UFC fights from time to time and typically have all the current sports on at any given time.

Yelp
I used to be a regular here a decade ago, and now pop in once in a while. My husband and I stopped in for a drink after a day of shopping yesterday. We ordered two glasses of wine. The portions were very small. I'd guess them to be 4 oz pours, not the standard 6 or 8 oz. The vibes are still fun and lively. We didn't have food, but we have had food many times in the past. It's bar food, so don't expect anything super gourmet. Service was fine. Overall its a fun spot, but I wouldn't order a glass of wine again.

Yelp
Came for my husband's company holiday party and had a blast! I was impressed that they rented out the entire place on a Saturday night, fed us and had open bar from 7-10pm! Fried chicken sliders and Margherita pizzas were placed on bar counter tops and tables, which were just okay. The buffet of Caesar salad, roasted root vegetables, mashed potatoes, penne pasta and braised short ribs were pretty decent for a large catering party. They also served up speciality cocktails. I enjoyed the Choco-Jack Mint Delight, which consisted of vodka, Bailey's, dark cream cacao, and peppermint schnapps. Hubby and I had a lot of fun bowling with his coworkers too! Overall, food was okay, service was excellent and entertainment was great!

Yelp
Amazing experience. Place is vibrant and upbeat. Menu looks great, but was t hungry. Staff were very friendly and highly attentive. Great experience.

Yelp
Reservations: made online, they require 50% deposit. After 4 players everyone is free so it becomes cheaper the more you have in your group (current promotion as of this date's review). Shoes are currently $5 a person to rent. When I called to ask a few questions, Adrian was very helpful on the phone. No wait when we checked in for our game. Lanes: like a few others mentioned, the lanes seem to be thinner than normal bowling lanes, and the bowling seems off in terms of how many pins should have been knocked down vs how many actually were. Once we had them turn off the tv, the glare on our lane disappeared and everyone bowled a lot better. I really liked that each lane/group seating is a lot more private than traditional bowling centers. Food/drinks: I would recommend their pizza, Gouda mac n cheese bites, and their beyond burger. If you order the cauliflower crust your pizza will be smaller than a regular crust pizza. The nachos could use more toppings. Wide variety of cocktail options, but limited wine options. Server was very kind and checked on us frequently which we appreciated. All in all this is a fun place to go for bowling, a lot more food and drink options, staff very friendly. If you're a serious bowler I'm not sure this would be your scene but I would come back again for sure, because I am not a professional bowler. :) Tip: reducing the glare on the lane by having the tv off helped with bowling accuracy, all 7 of us in our group agreed.

Yelp
We've been coming to the Block... er.... Outlets of Orange for well over 15 years and I don't think we've ever set foot into the bowling alley. We only did this day because I knew there was a restaurant inside and wanted to check it out. When we walked in on a Sunday afternoon around 2:30, we thought the restaurant was closed, so we looked around and left. On the way out, we did see someone eating so we knew they had food. There was also a sign that said to seat yourself. However, the sound of the bowling alley is what really made us leave. Well, after checking with another nearby hamburger restaurant, and finding out there was a wait, decided to pop back to Lucky Strike and give it a shot. We sat down, scanned the QR code for the menu, and began looking around to see if someone was available to help us. The sole bartender eventually brought a menu and got our drink order. After that, it was a typical restaurant experience. The menu is pretty simple, salads and burgers along with a steak option. We ordered a couple of burgers. We both ordered our usual drinks, coke, and diet coke. Now, I don't know what it is about bar soft drinks, but they always taste funny. I can never tell if it's just the alcohol that's been infused with the glassware, or just the mix coming from their push-button soft drink hose, but dang, I wish someone would figure it out. The burgers took s a while to get to us, but dang, the burgers were mighty fine! The fries had the perfect amount of seasoning. They were both well worth the wait. Sadly, my Diet Coke was like a 12oz glass that went pretty quickly and it was difficult to flag down a bartender to get a refill. The total cost was about $30, which isn't bad for 2 people and probably the same, or maybe less than we would have paid at the 50ish-style diner across the walkway. The burger was definitely better! One note, they do make you open a tab when you sit down. I assume they expect you to maybe bowl later. We just paid for the meal in advance and were done with it, but they did require a credit card. No big deal though. We'll definitely consider this place again though, and heck might even come back to bowl!
google avatar

James A.

Yelp
It's been a very long time since I've bowled and when a group of friends suggested it, I was up for it! We went to Lucky Strike and made a reservation for us all. Prices were very reasonable considering the location and atmosphere of the place! Very cool interior and lighting. We had a few bites from their menu and it was really good! Almost forgot I was at a bowling alley!! I'd definitely come back here as I forgot how much fun bowling can be! Parking can be a pain at the Block but they do have valet for only $10!
google avatar

Loren V.

Yelp
This location served our party of 25 today. We ordered alll the bowling stuff and 3 lanes and we played for a few hours. The food was decent and we brought our own food too. The service was humble and the ambiance was clean. Parking was packed at the block but good flow of customers coming in and out. Huge bar area. Lots of pool tables. Wish there was better music.

Yelp
This place is nasty. I took my grandson for an afternoon of bowling fun and it was so disappointing. Well first of all you take a chance with these shoes to beginning with but when they come with the dirtiest oldest shoe laces you have ever seen with it's own film that I can only describe as gummy, it's pretty disgusting. I told the girl and she said they are working at replacing them. How hard can that be??? Instead you see knots along laces to keep them together. The child bowling apparatus that is used for small children to help them roll the bowl was falling apart, looked dangerous and as if someone put it together from stuff they found in their back yard. The other one they had was broken and was left in corner. Not to mention the game kept freezing and had to go tell the attendant. It was $40 for an hour and $7 for the gummy shoelace shoes. I won't be going back.

Yelp
Bowling for Father's Day for my son along with his son. I went on lucky strikes website and made reservations in advance for 1:00pm This location is at The Grove in Orange County. The parking is always packed. They offer $10.00 valet parking but you park your own car. Which is a rip off. I circled several times and was able to find FREE parking. Checking in at lucky strike was smooth and easy. I booked for 2 hours of bowling. We were able to get 4 games in within 2 hours. The bowling shoes are an additional $5.00 each pair. The shoes were filthy!! I couldn't wait to finally take them off at the end of our bowling. My son and grandson ordered a pepperoni pizza at $16.00 an Pretzel bites with dipping sauce for $14.00 The pizza was just okay as you can tell it was frozen pizza. My son said the Pretzel bites were pretty good though. Our waitress was attentive and checked in on us several times. I spent approximately 170.00 for bowling, rental bowling shoes and food to include a tip. Quite an expensive outing today but we all had a good time bowling.

Yelp
The place itself is pretty nice. If you're looking for a good bar experience that has a bowling alley then this might be the spot for you. I am unfortunately critiquing them on the bowling part. I came here looking for a bowling alley that had a bar. Unfortunately the bowling alley or should I say lanes for whatever reason were subpar. I like to put a bit of a curve on my throat, but at this particular location, my balls were curving like no other. Made me question some stuff lol Overall, the experience was good, do you pay a bit more for the name, but I just wanted to bowl, and it seemed for whatever reason the lanes weren't oiled up as much as they should be. I honestly won't come back just for that reason. As I mentioned, I have a good curve, but when my balls curve, more thin, Greg Maddux curveball, then I know if there is a problem lol

Yelp
Was so surprised to come here on a Saturday and get a lane to bowl. Out server was great and the drink was filling.
google avatar

Yelp
I bowled here twice last year; the prices have exceeded excessive and exorbitant, and have evolved into the extortion range. Never again...

Yelp
Great service and staff! The manager last Saturday (2/3/2024 between 3-5PM) shift was awesome! Thank you for your great service! Food, drinks, and Bowling was on time and served well.

Yelp
Had our work Christmas Party at Lucky Strike last Thursday. The buffet tables were decorated festively. It was fun and our host/server was very attentive and made sure we had food, drinks, etc for our event. For food we got the chicken tacos, sliders, Bavarian pretzels, boneless wings, chicken tenders, pepperoni flat bread and m&m crispy marshmallow treats and dessert sampler. Always a good time and they let us do our white elephant gift exchange in the bar area since there was only one other work party. Fun was had by all!
google avatar

Karen N.

Yelp
My fiancé and I went here yesterday and played 2 games. For reference we went at 5pm on a Monday. We enjoyed the place especially because we basically had it to ourselves as there was only one family next to us and alllll the other lanes were open. The place was clean and they recently remodeled so everything has a fresh look to it.
google avatar

Aika O.

Yelp
This place was really cool! Shout out to Malachi he was really cool and attentive. I appreciated his recommendations which were all super good! The Toffee Martini was so yummy I got 2 lol not very strong which was for my own good lmao Bavarian pretzel- So good! I loved the coarse salt on it. Mac and cheese bites- i liked these a lot! the texture and taste were solid Boneless wings (buffalo flavor)- when i crave wings, these are the kind of wings that hit the spot! not too breaded and the buffalo flavor was a nice tangy that i liked. birria tacos- there were 3 in an order and they were surprisingly delicious! i wouldn't have expected a bowling alley to serve good tacos lol Calamari- i didn't eat much of it but my family seemed to really enjoy them my only gripe is that the couches and tables are so low and close together that eating was kind of uncomfortable and i had to climb over my mom whenever it was my turn to bowl. i guess i get the vibe that they were going for but not functional.

Yelp
Had an awesome time great atmosphere food was yummy service was fast staff was friendly all around great time 10/10 definitely a return costumer! It looked like stuff had been renovated/ upgraded another plus!

Yelp
It was awesome, came here on a Sunday. Nice ambiance. Lighting was great. Played billiards with the wife. Ample crowd. And we had a great time. Will be back soon!

Yelp
Been here a few times and finally getting a chance to review the place. Rentals - Dated shoe rentals but functional. Venue - Huge place with plenty of things to do for private events, hanging out at the bar or bowling. Drinks - Well made drinks and great selection of beers and liquor. Service - Not too bad, had to waive down help a couple times but they came quick and fixed issues in the lane. Lanes - Very trendy, cool lighting , lots of screens, but the table in between the lanes is tiny and between other party and ours had a very limited space. Prices - A bit on the higher side for Rentals, games, and drinks but not too bad for a good time. Overall it's a fun place to hit up and hang out at.
google avatar

Yelp
I recently visited Lucky Strike with my niece & my man. I honestly think this place was way overpriced. It cost $22 per person & $5 per shoe rental so for the 3 of us to bowl for 1 hour it was over $80. I'm used to going to bowling places that charge per game/ the hour not charging per person so for me the price here was ridiculously high. I took her to Dave & Busters prior & spent less & we were there for longer. The positives about this is place are that the interior was very clean, it's elegant looking compares to other bowling spots I've been to & there's a nice bar inside. I'd say this place is more of a date spot or if you're out with friends. As far as it being a budget friendly place to go with kids that's a big hell to the no.
google avatar

Esther M.

Yelp
My boyfriend planned a date for us here and we had a blast drinking beer and eating their carne asada nachos and fried garlic parmesan wings. The bowling was also so much fun. I really would have loved to stay all day but all good things must come to an end right? They also offer billiards. They have a huge bar and dining area as well. Anysa was our server who was friendly and was consistently checking up on us which was nice. Jason is the manager and he is doing a great job running this location. I will gladly make the drive here over other bowling locations and best believe we will be back.
google avatar

Spencer W.

Yelp
Been here multiple times. Twice for a huge work event but this most recent time with a group of friends. Overall it's a cool space in the mall because they're a bar, bowling, and pool. That said on bowling we had some issues with setup and turning on/off bumpers. The food service was great, tons of water pitchers, etc.
google avatar

Lance M.

Yelp
Had an absolute blast!!! I was hanging with my 4 year old (Daddy / Son adventure day) and he told me he wanted to go bowling. So we hit up Lucky Strike and I am so thankful we did. The manager, Jason, was over the top helpful. For all of you non-parents out there, wrangling a 4 year old at a bowling alley is no easy task. But Jason recognized my struggle and stepped up to help. He placed our food order, delivered me a much needed beer, and brought the food to our lane all so I could give 100% of my focus to my son. The entire establishment was clean, well organized, and delivered 10 out of 10 service. We had such a good time I am planning on booking my next birthday party at this place. Good form Lucky Strike, and a big thank you to Jason!!!
google avatar

Steven O.

Yelp
I'm a former professional bowler and by that I mean I used to bowl every now and then but not professionally. I really had a blast with my girlfriend bowling and eating at your lanes. The ambiance is really nice and the food was really good. Jason the manager was killing it and Anysa was a bomb server, she was constantly checking up on us. We will definitely be coming back, you best believe that.

Yelp
The reviews that say that this is a nicest bowling alley they have been to are crazy. Do not come here if you are a serious bowler. The couches are rundown. In terms of bowling, there is a reason it is deserted on unlimited bowling nights. The lanes suck. They are not oiled. If you come on unlimited bowling nights you will bowl in the dark. I don't mean "in the dark" like Bowlero, It is far worse. It is far darker, and there is a lot more glare from the lights and the screens on the bowling lanes. You cannot see where you are throwing your ball. I ordered a pitcher of voodoo ranger. My boyfriend took the first sip when we poured our pints, and immediately knew we it was not an IPA. He said " What did you order? This tastes like juice, it is not an IPA." he was pleased because he does not like IPAs, but that is beside the point. He went to the bar to get the right beer, and the bartender said she poured mango cart. LOL. To make matters worse, our personal ball cracked on these lanes . Will not be back. Garlic fries were good though.

Yelp
So I'm not usually able to bowl competitively when I go bowling to these types of bowling alleys. But, I was actually surprised to learn that this Lucky Strike actually maintains their lanes daily. So I was able to bring my own bowling equipment and use it without having to worry about my bowling balls getting scuffs and nicks up from the lanes. After playing 2 games I inspected my balls and there was nothing I could find wrong. We were a pretty big party of about 15 people. We ordered some food: sliders, chili, fries, tater tots, onion rings, wraps, etc. the food was excellent. The service was perfect! We always had clean plates, drinks were always full, table was always clean everyone had a great time! I will definitely bowl here for social gatherings and for practice/fun and I can use my own bowling balls and not have to worry about any nicks or scuffs, gouges. Yes, it's dark inside but, still a lot of fun with great service!

Yelp
Amanda was a great server and checked on us regularly. Along with the good food service the atmosphere of this place is awesome. Very cool dining area and bowling setup. Overall the staff is friendly. The cons The table and couches at the lanes are quite cramped and difficult to squeeze by your friends. Not the biggest issue just a small inconvenience. There are big chunks missing out of a lot of the bowling balls, and the scoring system didn't work the entire time. Would love to see the actual infrastructure/equipment maintained a little better, because like i had mentioned, the atmosphere here is awesome. Would love to come here more, but it is not fun to bowl if I have to keep selecting the 'correct score' button every toss. Props to the staff, yet underwhelming bowling.
