We went on their soft opening and were their first customers! Logan doesn’t have many sushi options so we were super excited for Lucky Trendy to open. We got a Ramune & thai iced tea which was amazing! Definitely get it- even if you are not normally a tea person. For apps, we got the takoyaki & spicy edamame. Takoyaki was fresh and very flavorful! For rolls we got: Rollin special roll, Monster roll, Sumo roll & Shinjuku. Shinjuku was probably the most unique with deep fried salmon & tempura onion on top! But all rolls were fresh and really good. The number of pieces depended on the roll so I would ask your server if you are wanting bigger or smaller roles. Finally we had the green tea cheesecake which was a great balance of green tea and sweetness. Overall the service, food & price point were great and we will be back! :)

We were so excited to see a new sushi spot open up in Logan and had to come try. This is going to be our weekly date night for sure. Service was excellent and the menu is fresh and thoughtful. The recommended menu items were absolutely must-try, especially the tempura eggplant! The interior is updated and so clean with modern decor. So glad we stopped in.

Their veggie sushi was delightful and surprisingly filling. The service was okay, nothing bad, but not particularly memorable. It seemed like they were busy with a steady flow of takeout orders, which may have affected the pace a bit. They have a limited number of tables, so I'd recommend making a reservation if you plan to dine in. Overall, it's a nice spot with cool decor and art that adds to the atmosphere.

Google
Fantastic sushi restaurant in the heart of Logan Square. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful with suggestions. My favorites are the Rainbow and Philly rolls with the Nasu Tempura (egg plant) as a starter. If you have room for dessert, the mango mochi with whipped cream is a wonderful end to the meal.

So excited to have such a great sushi restaurant in Logan! The Maguro Nigiri is a favorite! Honorable mentions to the Aburi Sake, Rollin Special Roll, and Three Kings Roll! This is where you need to go for quality sushi and great service!

I believe this place is new, so they are still figuring some things out! They need more servers and are currently hiring. It was packed, super busy with takeout orders too. It took quite a while to get 3 sushi rolls, we were worried they were forgotten and we weren’t the only table that had this concern. They were very tasty though! They have classic rolls and special rolls and a really good vegetarian selection. It’s a bit of a small space but the decor is very nice! Great location too.

Google
So happy we found this place ! They use super fresh, quality fish and the menu offers really creative rolls in a beautiful, bright space! The music was fantastic too, leaning into 90s hip-hop and R&B. It’s BYOB and very reasonably priced, especially considering the quality. Can’t wait to return and try even more of the menu!

Very clean, bright and inviting space with great music and truly delicious sushi at incredible prices. Huge upgrade from the Gorilla sushi that was here before. The service was second to none. Some of the friendliest people I have ever been served by. So excited to have this new great spot in the neighborhood. Can’t recommend highly enough! Restaurant is also BYOB which is great!

Best sushi in Logan Square!!! Amazing quality fish, and the service is great. Order the Nasu Tempura, it's perfect every time.

Yelp
We LOVED Lucky, Trendy Sushi. The service was fantastic from start to finish. We started with Miso Soup. Then our server recommended the Eggplant appetizer which was also amazing. The eggplant with the tempura batter was so good and fun to dip in the miso mayo sauce. Then we got an assortment of sushi. All of it was really well made. the fish was very fresh and great quality. It made perfect sushi. The desserts were also great. I've had green tea cheesecake at other places that were only a fraction as good as theirs. It was a perfect ending to a perfect meal. They also have different iced and hot teas if you want a drink. It's also BYOB if you want you own beer, wine or sake.

Yelp
Decent sushi in the Logan Square neighborhood, I'll return. They seem newly opened and still getting the hang of their service, but over all a good experience. If anything the server was a little overeager and checked in on us frequently. They also served our main dishes almost immediately after our appetizer, which was a bit odd, but I suppose better than waiting a long time for food to arrive. They have a good selection of veggie rolls for those who don't want fish. They also have lots of speciality sushi rolls as well as poke bowls.

Yelp
Maybe still working out the kinks of opening? Or maybe just not great for families/folks in a hurry. My family of 4 headed to this newly opened spot for dinner. Two things - our food came out sporadically over the course of an hour. I typically think of a place like this as a quick eatery, but this wasn't, and we were quite hungry by the time most of the food came. My kiddo was the last to get his poke bowl after an hour. The place wasn't busy when we sat down at 6:15, and 3 sushi chefs were working nonstop, so I don't know what took so long. The wait staff apologized and kept telling us the food was coming, but it wasn't. Second, they were playing music with lots of swearing. Most people don't care about that, but maybe not the best for young kids. The food was good. We might give it another try in a few months.

Yelp
Sushi is reasonable price ! I came alone , I can had 3 different rolls. Normally I can get one roll 20$ from another sushi place. But Here has option to try small roll for $6. Eggplant appetizer must try ! I will back to try their Noodles next time
