Giving 5 stars even though my experience today should yield 1 star. Came yesterday and paid for 200pc fried chicken to be picked up today between 11am-12pm for my event starting at 12pm. Arrive around 1120am and it's not ready. They said some lady called and pushed her order back to 4pm.🤷♂️ok so what does that have to do with my order?🤦♂️Obviously that's a different order right? The ladies apologize and say it'll take another 45 minutes to get that done now. Oh well, what can I do? Just wait. So I'm sitting here waiting and I see a 50pc done... Then another 50pc done. It's about 1210pm now and I'm sitting here thinking, alright half way there. All of a sudden someone shows up and says they're here for their 100pc and there goes that 100pc that was just made. Not even paid for yet mind you😡🤦♂️. Alright, forget about the guy who been waiting for an hour🤷♂️. Anyways, it's now 1235pm and still no chicken😔 if you haven't noticed, I'm sitting here writing this while I'm waiting for my chicken😮💨. It's 1245pm now and I see another 100pc done. I could've been outta here by now if they never gave that other 100pc away😁. It is what it is I guess. Kicking myself now because when I first came and they told me what had happened, I remembered this morning a thought that had crossed my mind that I should call Lucky's to make sure everything was in order. I didn't. So here I am. 1252pm and just 1 more 50pc to go. It could've been really easy for me to make a big fuss about all this but I get it. Stuff happens. While I wait, I can see how hard Liz, Kelli and Alonzo are working and helping all the customers. It's pretty much non-stop. So, even though I feel somewhat wronged, I can't help but think it's my fault for not calling this morning. It's why I changed my mind about my 1 star review. Well, 107pm and Alonzo just brought the last 50pc to me. I'm out! 🤟
