Lucky's Burger & Brew

We had a really good experience. The service was great from the beginning but we did beat the dinner crowd. I had the Memphis bloodhound Burger which was really good. The pickled onion added that sour note and the mango barbecue sauce was a good compliment to the burger. My wife had the pedigree Burger but substituted the candied bacon. Both burgers were well prepared as requested and super juicy almost to a fault as the bottom of our buns got a little soggy. My fries were crispy and tasty and her onion rings were in my opinion very good but notice that they had pepper. That might be off putting to some. We also got the big dog dessert burger which was unique and an interesting take on a hamburger. The funnel cake fries were really good and the star of the show was the raspberry sauce that came with it. I gave his place four stars as this is my first time there. I try to reserve five stars to confirm that my first visit is typical. If I I'm in the area and come back, then this place might be due for an upgrade.

We’ve been loving coming here! The atmosphere is very laid-back and welcoming, making it a great spot to relax and hang out. There’s tons of outdoor seating. The live music has always been great and adds to the fun vibe. The food is consistently delicious. My boyfriend says the burger is his favorite in the area, and I can’t get enough of the fried pickles. Highly recommend checking it out!

We decided to try Lucky's Burger & Brew on Wednesday, February 26, 2025. I had a Mushroom Swiss Burger with homemade Kettle Chips. My husband order a hambuger with an egg and fries. It was delicious. My chicken sandwich was the best I have ever eaten in a restaurant. It was not overcook. Our waitress was wonderful. The restaurant was based on the Owner's Golden Retriever, Lucky. The restaurant has a Dog House for you to eat with your furry friend. The chef will even make homemade doggie biscuits. I so wish we had a restaurant like this in Locust Grove, GA. 30248

A huge thank you to Ted, Jackson, Chris and the team at Lucky's for helping to make our (hubs and I) 70th birthday party a huge success. Most of our guests had not been to Lucky's but left telling us what a great party and a great location. We were a large group, all arriving within an hour and they did not miss a thing all evening. This is a great Roswell location for lunch or dinner, a party, or listening to talented local artists and bands while you enjoy an evening outdoors.

Bring your own dog water bowl, those aren’t provided, though I didn’t ask for one either. I did have one that was complimentary from another place—OTHERWISE, we sat in a nice, covered patio with ceiling fans to help everyone, including my pooch, from getting too hot. I got the Double Stack, I think it’s called, 2 patties w/ cheese and fries. Even my dog approved of the food! The dessert burger was delicious , though the cookies were pretty hard, but the heat melted the vanilla ice cream—so it worked out!!! It’s so nice places are starting to recognize that us pet owners want to include our furbabies in our fun activities like having a nice meal out! 5 stars from me just b/c they love dogs, too!! Looking forward to visiting again!!!!

Did not expect to love my burger as much as I did! I kept it simple since I was sharing with my daughter, but it still totally blew me away - juicy, tender, and full of flavor. Hands down one of the best I’ve had in a while. Shoutout to my server, Casey - she was professional, attentive, and just overall great. Consider me a fan - I’ll definitely be back!

Delicious local burger joint. Great selection of food for any appetite - burgers, chicken sandwiches, nachos, fried pickles, etc. HUGE outdoor space great for dogs and children. I love taking my pups here, they always get a burger on the side!

Very friendly staff Brought the dog and were able to sit under the fans on the patio. Win win!! Grandsons enjoyed the corn dog and Mac and cheese My salad was fresh and tasty. Great place!!

Came here with no reservation for a group of 6 adults and one child and we're seated right away. Limited cooling outside so be prepared if you go in the summer. Got drinks and a few appetizers to split and everyone was satisfied. Very casual spot with bar food. Hummus, fried pickles and pimento cheese bites were all good. Everyone was satisfied with their burger and left full. Wings were also tasty. All in all a good spot with friends and easy parking which is not to be said for more of the downtown area.

It's been years since we've been here to see the changes: all for the better! We had a hike along the Chattahoochee which wrapped up in time for lunch. There were four in our party and we scored a curved booth just inside the door for seating. Our server Gaarvan greeted us right away and brought our waters while we perused the adult beverage options. We go for the PBR or Genesee Cream Ale for old times sakes. When Gaarvan returned he also took our food order as we settled in. Quick return with beverages and rapid delivery of our burgers after that. My wife selected the Chihuahua and my choice was the Retriever (both subbing the black Bean burger). Together these two meals were $47 including tax, CC fee, and tip Our goal for today was half here and the other half during halftime during the NFL halftime later today. All enjoyed our meal and the memories of dining here over many years.

This place always hits whenever we visit! We split some veggie nachos with a house salad. The house salads are HUGE for the price! I wish the cheese on the nachos could be poured evenly instead of always at the bottom of the plate but it's still pretty delicious. They have their own parking lot which is a huge bonus for a place in Roswell!

Food was delicious. Lots of different Turkey and beef burgers variations. Salads ,chicken onion rings and french fries. Beer and drink menu was excellent. People can bring their dog for outside seating. It is a cool chill atmosphere.

We stopped in while visiting my sister in law in Alpharetta. We didn't have our German Shepherd with us but was delighted with the beautiful weather and outdoor eating experience. Our server was prompt, courteous and efficient! Sorry I didn't catch her name! She delivered excellent service!!! And deserves recognition. The burgers were ANAZING! We ordered a customized burger with coleslaw. The burger was very juicy, perfectly cooked and flavored. Loved the bun too! The coleslaw was very very delicious!!! We were super pleased. The kettle chips were fresh, warm, crispy and delicious!!! Kudos to the kitchen staff. We will definitely come back when we are in town!!! What a nice restaurant and fascinated by learning Lucky's story and how much the company supports the community and vice versa.

What a great find!! Their pimento cheese fritters are amazing!! All of our burgers were cooked perfect and very tasty. The staff was super friendly!

I've always liked Lucky's but today they went above and beyond and it made such a difference! I was dealing a toddler having a meltdown and I was so embarrassed. I asked for the check and a box so I could high-tail it out of there. As I was about to leave, a lovely woman walked up to me and said "do you want to stay? I'm Lucky's mom. Let me get you some ice cream." So she went to the back and our server brought out some ice cream. After that, my daughter calmed down and ate her food. Our server asked how old she was and related to me by saying he has a 4-year-old. Everyone was so kind and made me feel so welcome. I was so worried about causing a scene with my daughter but they made it all better. Lucky's is a great place to eat but those people there are pretty special. Faith in humanity restored.

Went went on a Saturday for lunch and it was packed, even the patio with outdoor seating was so loud you couldn't hear each other at the table. Once it calmed down, it was much more enjoyable, so just keep in mind if you go at busy times the noise carries. Our server was kind, but rushed us from the moment we sat down. Two people in our party had to go orders they requested to be put in later. She put them in the second our food hit the table so their togos came out before we were even halfway done eating. So, the kitchen is at least efficient. I had the chicken nachos, they're stacked high on a large plate. They were delicious, but definitely couldn't finish them all. Checks were dropped after our food hit the table, so we couldn't ask for a togo box.

Great Friday night experience! Never tried this place before but will definitely be back. We were easily able to get a table for 8 around 5:30 on a Friday night. Service was super quick which was great as we were trying to make a 7pm show. We had 5 kids who were all able to find something they liked on the menu. I tried the chihuahua burger with onion rings. Burger was great and cooked perfectly. But the best part for me was the thin, crispy onion rings and the dipping sauce! Definitely will go back just for those o'rings! Drink selection was also great and we were easily able to make our show!

We have only gotten takeout, but the food is absolutely outrageous. I cannot speak about the service. The ambience looks fun for your puppy. Definitely recommend the burgers. They are top-notch.

Food was ok nothing great, service was a little lacking. Our server might have been busy but it was no excuse for being inattentive. It would be helpful to train your servers to be more attentive to their customers.

Excellent burger! These folks know how to make a burger and the price point is good. I am not a fan of pet friendly places but if you are looking for a good burger, this is the place! I will be going back! Oh, good service too!

We were immediately greeted & seated. Our server was great! She was friendly & very attentive. Everything we ordered was delicious! I tried the Memphis bloodhound with fries and Nashville hot chicken sandwich with onion rings. Note: onion rings are really like onion straws. Both were tasty! We definitely would come back!

Cockeyed setup - hard to find the front door. Really bad design. This building has tons of space but only about 5 booths. So unless you want to sit in a backcracker then it's a no go. The booths were full so we turned around and left.

I really like the burgers here , the food is always good . We had the 5 lbs burger , it was very good , we did not like the bun but that's ok , the rest was really good. Sorry wish I had a picture , prices are good too , I really like this place

My family and I rarely take a new restaurant risk mid week, especially during the hangry witching hour. Mom wanted a salad and glass of wine, the husband and kid wanted good burgers. Quick yelp search reminded me of Lucky's and we went on a whim. The hostess and crew couldn't have been more welcoming, RARE in this day and age and a great first sign. Then our waitress, Rachel, gave more care and consideration to our table than most servers put in to their entire work week. She was kind, fun, engaging and on point. When she realized at the very end that it was our first time, and how next time we wanted to dive into their epic desserts- she surprised us with the dessert burger, to go! Back in my hospitality days, this was the kind of server that I'd pay good money for and I hope the owners realize what great people they have on their team. So hard to find these days, and they clearly all gave a damn. It was so nice to see. Now, my family isn't into beer, or sports, so that wasn't the draw, but the food and service was such a good value, we'll definitely be back, regularly and soon.

Tasty food, great outdoor space for kids and pet owners to enjoy! Can get busy on Friday so get there early, also if they have live music outside expect a wait.

I found this place in the middle of the pandemic when I was starving and didn't want to sit inside a restaurant. Since then, I have been back multiple times, brought friends, framily, and family, and even ordered via door dash. Why? I like "burgers" but don't eat beef. Their turkey burgers are terrific and the burger combinations are funky, fun, and quite tasty. I also appreciate that every single burger has an option as to what type of meat you would like for you "burger". And the non-beef option isn't just a beef tasting soy concoction. Thank you Lucky's!! When I'm there in person, I nearly always sit on the patio. It's really relaxing to order a pitcher of beer, some burgers, and enjoy comfort food and friendly cheer. It seems others have figured it out too as I often see fury Fidos with a nice bowl of water under the tables. Highly recommend this place!

Burger bliss... a must visit staple around here Lucky's is a goto for a reason! If your looking for a top notch burger in a nice venue then look no further... pick you meat, pick all your toppings, or go with one of their selection... either way you are going to have a burger from the culinary Gods. Cooked to perfection, lovingly constructed, and served up at the top of its flavor perfection. The fried pickles are done well as well... lightly breaded chunks of pickled happiness... crisp and delightful. The service was exceptional... we had a 6 person party and none of us ever wanted for anything long. Our server was a seasoned veteran that knew how to handle a group of needy individuals. This is a must stop for those looking for burger nirvana... I highly suggest making it over to this little slice of heaven and enjoying what just might be the best burger in town.

I am a burger fan, nothing more American than a delicious hamburger that you will brag about. Do you love dogs? Then this is your place!!! Lucky's Burger & Brew is that place. It is literally dog friendly, the Roswell location lets you bring your pup and enjoy the outdoor patio or picnic pavilion area. The Marietta location with the food court bar and seating showcases some painted artwork created by ME! I am a huge fan of Lucky s and their burgers, you can't go wrong with any of them. The staff is super friendly and always nice to chat with. The fries arrive hot and crispy also they have fried pickles if your into the crispy salty crunch that's deep fried. YUM! Come get your fill of good food, great conversation, and puppy eyes while dining at any of the locations. come for the burgers stay for the dogs and conversation

Happy Veterans Day from Luckys! Sat down for lunch outside on the porch with my pup (not Lucky's breed. She's a Boykin). Ordered the Lucky burger with fries and a coke. America! Great burger. Finished up and had a nice chat with the waiter. He asked if I had served in the military due to a Navy hat I was wearing. A humble yes was my answer, and he immediately picked up the check. "Thank you for your service, sir. And all of us at Lucky's appreciate be your service." Amazingly nice surprise! Thank you kindly.

We have been going to Lucky's in Roswell for many years and always have a good experience. The food is great. It's family friendly and the staff is always fantastic. I love that they really give back to the community. Thanks Lucky's!

The live bands at Lucky's Live evening events are top notch. Parking is tight. I suggest parking at the soccer complex on Woodstock St. and take the short walk by cutting through the cemetery. Don't park next door or across the street or your car will be booted or towed. The evening I attended, the covered patio was unavailable because of a private party so the wait for an outdoor table was over 40 minutes. Once seated, it was difficult to flag down a server to place our order. Even though it's a dog friendly place, please consider leaving your pet at home on live music nights. The band is too loud for their sensitive ears. Additionally, the wait staff couldn't hear us place our order over the music so we had to point to the menu items. The "patio menu" has limited options however you can still order off the regular menu which has more options. While the live music venue is also family friendly and there's a printed recommendation for parents to supervise their children, many of them run freely between the tables, pulling landscape/shrubbery and tossing mulch even though there is a fenced lawn area for them to play in. My dog took refuge under the picnic table to avoid getting stepped on. The $13+ burger is plump with countless add-on ingredients with fun names however my beef patty was thin and bland. It's a nice concept and pretty popular for those with little kids. Come early to find parking and consider leaving your dog at home on live music nights.

Love this place. There's lots of outdoor seating, dogs are welcome, and they make a good standard bar food, as well as some original sandwiches. I don't remember the name of my favorite one, but it's fried chicken on a bun with Brie cheese and apples. Delicious and different. Also, best tots in town! The lunch burger is the best deal in town - 4oz hamburger cooked to order with fries and drink - $12 or thereabouts. Be aware, it's very family oriented, so prepare for a lot of kids out on the lawn on a nice weekend. This is not a complaint, just something to consider.

I love this restaurant!! It's a fabulous concept: good food and doggie friendly. You can sit on the patio area with your pup. You have a great time and so does your pet. We've had many different menu items! I like to start with a basket of sweet potato fries ($4). They are delicious!! My favorite sandwich is the French Poodle Chicken Sandwich. It includes fried or grilled chicken, Granny Smith apples, Brie, and caramelized onions. It's perfection on a bun! You can also build your own burger or chicken sandwich. We've had the wings as well which everyone liked. The environment is nice and service is always attentive and friendly. I'd highly recommend this restaurant.

Wow. This place is disgusting! It looked as if the floor hadn't been swept in awhile! Young staff gathering by the bar and chatting! Our food came out on paper plates! Pale, tasteless fries! The only reason I gave two stars is because the burger was descent. Management/ownership needs to get this place in shape!

Can't trust them. Won't be back. Ordered a whiskey with ice and they charged $1.50 for the ice (not a large cube, regular ice) When I challenged this the server said she'd remove it. After she chatted with the bartender she said that the $1.50 was actually because they poured an extra 2 oz. (false). I pushed back once more and she removed the charge. Something phony is going on at this place. Even if the server was telling the truth: What reputable business up-charges your drink without asking? What profitable business automatically doubles a $9 drink for only $1.50? What organized business itemizes a drink upgrade as "on the rocks"? I was excited about trying this place, but they violated my trust and I won't be back.

We have been to the restaurant several times. New wait staff, seems like The manger gets rid of staff constantly. Service is slow.

Busy on summer nights, great outdoor seating/eating. Burgers are big, messy and good. Lots of kids running around some nights. Trivia is fun here inside or outside, but better in the summer months. Decent beer selection.

The loaded potato dippers were to die for!! Loved them! Multi cheese too which I love. Good peach mai tais! And they had a special on them. Greta patio and dog friendly! Server was chill and place was clean. Hostesses we're so sweet! Good music as well

Came here to try the grim reaper burger challenge and let me tell ya, quality is not lost on quantity here!!! Incredible service, wonderful food, and a very chill atmosphere with friendly staff! The owner let us record the construction of the massive burger and we enjoyed it down to the very last bite! This burger joint is well worth a side trip! Highly recommend!!!

Loved our visit to Lucky's. The restaurant is adorably decorated with dog items and photos of the owners' dog Lucky. They have great outdoor seating options that includes space to bring your dog. The food was delicious. We got lemon pepper wings as an appetizer and they were honestly the best wings I've been able to find in Georgia since moving to Alpharetta 5 years ago. Quality meat and a great size for each of the wings, they were cooked with a slight crisp on the outside which is my preference compared to the soggy way many others serve them. Cannot wait to go back and try their Buffalo wings as I expect they're just as good. For my entree I tried their new Nashville hot chicken sandwich. It was good overall; however, the honey portion was all piled on in one spot in a thick glob, resulting in an overwhelming amount of honey in that portion of the sandwich. I'm terms of Nashville hot sandwiches, not the best I've had, but it was still a decent sandwich with high quality meat. Overall we loved this restaurant and can't wait to go back and try more items on the menu as everything looked delicious!

The sign at the door says, "Lucky's Burgers and Brew... and Man's Best Friend. They definitely love their doggos. They are proud to be dog friendly... I assume outside since they have outdoor seating as well, but we were inside in the cool and clean dining area. Since it's our first time here, I went with a bacon cheeseburger and upgraded to tots, which they say is what all the regulars get. My son ordered chicken tenders and fries and I have to believe they're good because the chicken disappeared super fast. We're on the way to get my hair done and had only about an hour and were concerned since this area is usually congested and hard to get into... but not only did we get immediate seating (around 520pm on a Thursday), the food was insanely fast... like maybe five minutes! Don't get me wrong, the vibe here is casual, diner, with a full bar. The bar was full when we walked in and the dining room was mostly empty, but has since started to fill. The sounds are calm and happy chatter. I doubt you'll ever see someone dancing on the bar, but who knows. Haha... Definitely a great place to bring family and enjoy conversation, some tv, and a couple of drinks. Prices are reasonable, especially for the Canton street area. If you hate dogs, you might think twice, but if you hate dogs, maybe the Canton street area isn't the best area to find a restaurant ... haha. I'm a cat girl, but coming through these doors brought out my dog-loving side.

We had a great time when our friends invited us over for their dog Moogli's birthday. We were able to bring our 2 pit bulls with no problem. Someone ordered burgers for the dogs that were on the menu, so they were happy. I got big juicy turkey burger that hit the spot, especially with some tater tots . lots of kids running around in the outside area. The waiters were very nice and accommodating.

I went here to take on their burger challenge. I made sure to call ahead because they have to custom order the enormous bun. The staff was very chill and engaging. The place was pretty packed for lunch and I can tell why. Even though it was an eating challenge, the meat was really good, the bacon was thick and crispy, and the bun had a nice buttery flavor. The manager kept coming by making sure everything was ok. Even the patrons are chill people. The entire place is decked out in dog-related décor. Very much a sports bar and grill. I cant wait to go back to use the gift card I won by beating the challenge!

I love coming here. The food is amazing, and there's usually a few pups to make your eating experience rather enjoyable. I love ordering the pimento cheese ball to top any burger I choose, because it just adds that extra bit of amazing, although ordering them as an appetizer also does well. They've added a loaded potato type plate to their appetizers; it's the equivalent of large fries with shredded cheese and bacon on top, sour cream too, if you'd like. It's really filling. By the time I received my burger and tots, I didn't even have an appetite. I asked for a box with it so I could take it to go, plus with the wind it can get pretty chilly outside on the patio, but I had to wait another 15 minutes. By then I just wanted to leave. It was a shame to spoil my stop there, but the service was so slow I just wanted to be home and warm again. My favorite is to take this to go, which, until things open up and you're not being served on disposable dishware, is really the way to go!

Meh....I mean there's some real possibilities that this place could be much better unfortunately my experience was just ok. First the positives, the location is great. The outdoor area including the dog house is really nice. Lots of places for the kids, dogs, everybody. They have live music as well which is always a good thing. The place was clean inside and out. The bad..service was sloooooowwwwww. I mean painfully slow. We sat at our table in the dog house for way to long before seeing our waitress for drinks. Then it took forever to order our food, which took forever to get to us. If the weather wasn't so good, and the place so cool to hang out in, it would have been much worse. Onto the food. The onion rings were excellent and plentiful. The burgers were a let down. The waitress asked if medium was ok on the temp, but all of ours came at well. I may give the place another try since the vibe is really cool, but I won't be ordering a burger...and I won't come hungry..

Consistently good service and food! I've tried many menu items, and my favorite has been the Undertaker burger! It's so fun that you can bring your dogs with you! Love this restaurant environment and definitely would recommend to all

This place is awesome! Food is great (try the fried pickles) and the service was quick and friendly as well. It can definitely get crowded on the weekends, but it's so nice sitting outside we didn't really mind the crowd/wait.

The dog pictures everywhere are so cute! Great hangout / sports grill vibes. Food is unique and tasty! Must try to mozzarella appetizer. Burger was huge - prepare for a To-go box!

Finally made it to this dog-loving establishment and was very pleased with my visit! The owners were on-site and their passion for the product was clearly evident. Owner Diane sat down to chat and pulled servers over to show off their wares and made suggestions (she was right when she pushed the amazing sweet potato fries). Excellent burgers and attentive servers; well worth a return visit!

Great, relaxed atmosphere with tasty bar food and burgers. Great shoestring onion rings and nice variety of craft beers and well drinks. Restaurant has expanded to offering outdoor space with both table, dog friendly area, and music pavilion. The owner Ted has done a great job at evolving this restaurant into a place that pleases everyone.

Our local Lucky's closed a couple months ago. So, we were happy to be near the one in Roswell. Server was to our table quickly. Food was really fast! We had chili, hummus, and a burger with fries. Everything hit the spot! So glad we found this Lucky's. As good as ever. Just wish it was closer to where we live.

We asked the friends we were staying with where was the best place to get a good burger at a locally owned place. Everyone in the house agreed that this was the place to go. They were right. The decor is a lot of fun. It was a warm sunny day so we got to sit outside. People are able to bring their pooches and there were some cute ones there that day. My husband had the taco Burger without the bun and said it was really amazing. I had a double cheeseburger with American it was so juicy and seasoned just perfectly. They have tater tots! This always makes me happy. I really can't recommend it enough. Everyone should try it if they are in the area.
