Lucky's - Review - The Hamptons - New York - The Infatuation
"This contemporary steakhouse is already famous to those who vacation in Montecito, and possibly familiar to those who dine in Soho too. The latest Lucky’s outpost turns the former home of the Cow Hollow Tavern into a verified cool spot to hang and sip martinis. If you’re as tempted by caviar service as you are by tall platters of skinny onion rings, free bread with cultured butter, and market price surf ‘n turf, all served on kitschy diner plates, you’ll love it here. Keep an eye out for daily specials, like Sunday’s spaghetti with wagyu meatballs, and save room for a slice of New York cheesecake.

Absolutely LOVED the creamed corn. Me and my friend went here last week and the service and food were exceptional. Aidan was extremely friendly and was very knowledgeable about the menu items and drinks as well. I highly recommend the Mr.Lucky cocktail. If you're in the area, or even if you're not, definitely come check this restaurant out it will 100% be worth your time.

Great spot! Cozy and comfortable. It was definitely a busy night but the people at the door were communicative, clear and helpful. Our server was excellent, recommended the half chicken which had an excellent sauce and the braised mushrooms. Thank you to Luca for the excellent recommendations!

We felt truly taken care of throughout the entire experience. The atmosphere is elegant yet comfortable, clearly curated with care. Our server, Anna, was especially kind, professional, and effortlessly attentive.
Made for a very special evening! Absolutely recommend.

Lucky’s Steak House is one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in East Hampton. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the service is excellent from start to finish. I ordered the New York strip and it was cooked perfectly, tender and full of flavor. The appetizers were great too, especially the thick-cut bacon which was a nice surprise. The cocktails were also really well made and added to the overall experience. Whether you’re going for a special occasion or just a nice night out, Lucky’s is definitely worth a visit. I’ll be coming back for sure.

I actually DID double check my reservation before arriving and confirmed that it was, in fact, the correct date and time. The manager (Chris) is an upstanding individual and ALWAYS treats me with care and respect. I have never had an experience that wasn’t outstanding. The onion rings and red wine shallot sauce are both excellent.

Had high expectations based on locals feedback. The food was delicious no doubt about that. Cocktails were good, even if took a while. Service was subpar. started well and then dwindled off had to ask for water refills. Waitress disappeared after our order was placed.

Avoid this place like the plague. Everything was bad from the service to the drinks to the food.
Waited a long time to get drinks despite only three other tables already eating. They brought me corked wine to try that had sediment and was literally visibly gone off.
The fries were limp, under cooked and clearly from a frozen bag. The steak wasn’t cooked to our order. Also the smallest 28oz I’ve ever seen.
The front of house person wouldn’t let us finish one drink outside because she thought we’d steal the wine glass.
The manager was nice and replaced the fries but at that point it was too far gone.
Oh also this was my birthday which they knew about and made no extra efforts.
All around, bad.

I took my grandmother out to eat here and she thoroughly enjoyed her experience. We absolutely adored Anna, our server. Will absolutely be back when time allows.

Yelp
Tried out the newly opened lucky's. And I hate to say that we were deeply disappointed. Do not expect a classic style steak house experience when dining here. First off the Caesar salad was mediocre at best, lettuce was limp, drenched in sauce topped with a few stale croutons. Ordered a porterhouse medium, when received the fillet side was well done and grey while the strip side was medium well, and yes I know that with a porter house both cuts are usually not the same but it was literally grey! And at 160$ it was unacceptable. I wanted to send it back but my husband refused since it was dinner time and was getting busy. Then there was the lobster mac and cheese. Great sauce and texture but there were 3-4 pieces/shreds of lobster in the entire plate. Other sides were good but could not enjoy since steak was terrible. I really wanted to love this place since we live very close by but unfortunately it's a one and done for us. Good luck.

Yelp
Very disappointed after trying this new restaurant in East Hampton. My Caesar salad had so little dressing on it which struck me as very strange and don't get me wrong. I don't like a Caesar drenched in dressing but this was ridiculous. My lobster tail was delicious but they didn't take it out of the shell which was weird to me. Cookie and ice cream for dessert was perfect but the hefty price tag for dinner was baffling, considering what we had to eat and drink. Would only try again if they did price fixe in the winter. Not impressed.
