Lucky's Roadside Stand - Roxborough

Award winning? I can believe that easily!! One of the best constructed burgers I’ve ever had. Came with two patties that were cooked perfectly near to a medium cook and that’s without being asked which is perfect. Solid bacon and enough cheese to beautifully coat the patties and the bacon. The only problem I had was the amount of the creamy peanut butter that was on the burger because instantly it was drooping off and was everywhere. Nonetheless in all the mess, it’s a combination that I’ll get again. Decided to pair the sandwich with the roadside fries which was probably the best decision I’ve made all month. Light, skinny and crispy French fries that’s smothered in an old bay seasoning and an amazing cheese that could easily rival chickie’s. Great customer service from the two that’s in the front of the shop. Definitely a must visit in the area!!!

Easy walk on the train station. Had an amazing Burger. Definitely looking forward to bringing friends here. Very friendly staff and there are even games to play.

This place had one of the best burgers I've had in a long time. I ordered over GrubHub, and from the food to the delivery to even the packaging, everything came out well. The fries that came were still crispy and nice when I got them. Plus, I've been watching Bobs Burger's, and the burgers on that show have the touch of a quirky artisan, much like the burger's here. And it's delicious.

Wonderful staff, wonderful food. Their food is just as good delivered as it is eaten right at the location. And they’re so kind! I mentioned having a rough day and they wrote me such a cute and funny note. And you know what? It really did drown my sorrows away. Thank you to Luckys and their wonderful people for the delicious food and for always cheering me up. Whoever the girl who wrote the note is, if you see this review, know that you made my day!

Drink selection is awesome (where else can you get cheerwine in Philly?), all three of the in house restaurants are fantastic. Recommend any of the lucky’s burgers, sunshine BLT and tuna are both phenomenal. Crinkle cuts rule. Don’t love the cheese sauce but that’s personal preference. Eda’s pizza also very good. If you’re in walking distance there isn’t a better takeout spot, would also recommend as a pop in for lunch.

The burger?! Incredible! The dog?! Incredible! The Mac and cheese?! Incredible! The person that checked us out ?! Incredible! No but forreal this place has delicious food and the staff was super nice! Highly recommend the peanut butter and jelly burger!

This place is great! There are 3 picnic tables inside with a few other tables to dine in, too, if that's your jam. Service was SUPERB!!

All around great restaurant. It tasted very good and was well priced.

Bangin' drinks selection*, not the most comfortable seating (but I have pain issues, so...), veggie dogs and burgers available, turns out, "natural casing" hotdogs aren't gross, tots were too salty, great music, attractive little place with friendly service. Outdoor seating as well as indoor picnic tables for larger parties. We lucked out, but parking is definitely an issue. When everything is open, you have your choice of burgers and dogs, sandwiches, and pizza. We didn't try Eda's pizza, but it looked good. There's also a nifty selection of candy, much of it in fun containers (e.g. jelly beans in tiny soda bottles.) We look forward to coming back, even if we have to do takeout because of the parking. *Coke AND Pepsi, multiple flavors of Joe's Lemonade, Boylan's, Warheads, Bubble Up, Cheerwine, butter pecan and banana cream?!! and more.

Loved my burger and fries! Great flavor and portion sizes. Food tasted fresh. I will definitely come back again soon.

I am really happy that Lucky's has this option available to the loyal customer base and I am sure they are making new fans and customers along the way with this location! Sometimes you just want take-out from your local favorite hamburger place! When I come to the Roadside Stand...I save at least $20 because whenever I go the the Main St location I will order a few drafts while waiting for my takeout! Lol If you didn't know about this option ...now you know! Enjoy!

So glad to have a Lucky's delivery option! I just moved back to the area and Lucky's has always been my favorite neighborhood bar with amazing eats. I had been working through unpacking a sea of boxes in my house and plus was having car trouble, so being able to get Lucky's delivered was key! Since my kitchen wasn't in a state of being able to cook yet, I got quite a few items to last me a few days as I continued to unpack. My feast consisted of the Coney and Sgt Pepper hot dogs, PB Bacon burger, Main Street tots, and Roadside fries. One of my first loves of Lucky's from years past is the amazing PB Bacon burger which absolutely did not disappoint - I will never get tired of this burger and it sure did shine with delivery! The tots were deliciously nice and crispy as usual, but unfortunately they messed up my fries order - it wasn't Roadside at all - I think they maybe made them Main Street as well which was kind of a bummer because I wanted all the good stuff on them. But I know this location is new and I heart Lucky's so much, hopefully it was just a one off. I didn't have the hot dogs until the following days and they were still just as delicious being leftovers heated up. Lucky's Roadside is definitely an awesome option for those that love indulging on Lucky's but aren't able to go in person or pick up. I hope to be going back to the OG location in person soon now that I have my house more unpacked, but will def keep this as an option for future laziness.

I ordered through DD. The burger was huge, I ate half n gave my husband the rest. I wasn't happy with the fries that was supposed to have extra bacon. They could've been cooked a little longer and come in a CLOSED container. Not worth $6 Will never order fries again. Maybe pick up is better.

Wonderful take out option with fast, friendly service and just perfectly cooked burgers. Don't sleep on the tots either.

Got a habernero burger sub impossible patty They now charge $4 to swap out a meat patty for an impossible patty. Tonight they miraculously managed to cut the impossible patty down to a third of the normal size (I've had impossible burgers a million times & 2 times before at this location iykyk impossibles are thick boys). I requested extra tomato, lettuce and jalapeño. I only received half a piece of lettuce and only one tomato which was really thin but also thicker than the burger lol. I got half the amount of the jalepeno I should've gotten had I not asked for extra. One slice of cheese. And of yeah some of these extras were paid for. Went to call them to ask if the patty was even an impossible but also they dont answer their phone so now I gotta write this review just to feel a little heard. So I love the location in SOUTH Philly but this one here in Wiss is so bad it blows my mind. They really rush and skimp and it's NEVER hot. I've waited in there for food for my bf & I ...one thing will be ready 15 mins before the other and then they'll scoop in cold fries. They are overpriced and not that nice. We keep overtipping in cash in hopes it will make someone there actually smile. Like they're Not at all mean, just not nice either if that makes any sense. Not even sure why I'm mentioning this part bc I really respect whatever mood anyone's in at whatever time I guess the mood seems to be on par with the food they serve so I guess that's why I feel compelled to blurt it out will prob regret later. We've ordered on a Monday we've ordered on a Saturday - they can't be in the weeds the same amount every night. They make the food deliverers wait for ages. I've witnessed it all and somehow they have a high star rating. this may have to do w there not being anything else like it on the Wiss side idk but it baffles the hell out of me. My bf loves their pickle monster - his food always looks decent so I'm sure I'll be back for that reason but I'm not letting him buy me dinner here ever again. Even tho it's not my money it still bothers me a lot they get away w this. Maybe they don't like vegetarian stuff bc they don't have the veggie dog like the other locations and now they're removed the veggie burger as it's own offering so if that's the case I say if you're not vegetarian just stay far away.

Missed biscuit lady but got to try Lucky's. Was very happy with my pb and j burger. My friends all know I love my pb, but their jelly sends it over the top. Burger is just how I like it - thin and easy to eat. I got the junior size and it was perfect for a mid-bike ride fuel recharge! The house made jam is to die for. Would recommend!

Great burger (went with one with blue cheese and mushrooms) and tots. It's a good concept with a few different offerings inside - a good sandwich shop, pizza, biscuits and the Manayunk branch of Lucky's. Highly recommended

Do not eat here, you will get sick. My husband ordered a regular cheeseburger for delivery. He had violent food poisoning overnight and into the morning, for more than 12 hours after consuming the burger. We've filed a food safety complaint through the app he ordered from. I called Luckys directly today but was put on hold for over 10 minutes before hanging up.

The food is not bad. But it takes soooo long. It took about 10 mins for someone to come out to take the order and then what felt like another 30 to get the food. When I finally got the food the burgers were room temp. Idk if they are severely understaffed or if the processes are just bad but if you go call ahead then wait before you go.

Great service. I had the peanut butter burger which was pretty good. Main Street fries were good too. Looks like most of the business comes from take out, though there are a few picnic tables inside. I was the only diner the entire time I was there.

I think you will give Lucky's Roadside Stand a 4 or 5 if you love big, hearty burgers and fries or tots. I give it a 3.5 because the size of the burgers (huge) and seasonings just didn't work great for me. I ordered a Pickle Monster burger with an Impossible Burger patty, and the flavors and textures (regular dill pickles, of course, and fried pickles, relish, American cheese, aioli, and pickle-flavored potato chips in top) didn't jell. The chips got soggy, and I think I'd stick with either cheese or aioli, not both. If you order Roadside tots, get ready for a MOUND of them. They're fried with onions and peppers and have Cajun seasoning. For me, too salty and heavy. But I can see how other people with a bigger appetite for big, salty food would really dig it!

Lucky's Roadside Stand recently opened up and I was excited to try it because I'm a fan of their other location. I ordered a Classic cheeseburger with habanero mayo and the Main St fries which has old bay seasoning and cheese. The burger was delicious! I could tell it was made fresh and the portion was perfectly sized. I'm rating this 4 stars because they gave me the Classic fries instead of the Main St fries. For a new business, I was a little disappointed that they messed up my order. I didn't realize that they gave me the wrong fries until I got home (I did a pickup order). The Classic fries wasn't anything special. Overall, I really enjoyed the burger and will be going back. Hopefully, they won't mess up my order next time!

The service here was EXCELLENT, very nice gentleman helped me despite me showing a bit late (got confused with the main location on main st) and I ordered a peanut butter bacon burger, it seemed weird when I ordered but I do food reviews and let me tell y'all, it did NOT disappoint! The flavor was in the burger, bacon was crispy and just right and the peanut butter really bought the sweetness of the bacon and itself out!

Was pleasantly surprised to see a delivery option for Lucky's finally! I've been going to Lucky's Last Chance for years and our delivery meal was just as good as the OG location! Everything looked perfect, was hot, and tasted amazing! We will definitely order from Lucky's Roadside again! 10/10

Food was good, but missing items. My pb burger was missing jelly on the side and my girlfriends burger was missing bacon.
