Lucky's Steakhouse

The value and service was very nice there and had no complaints. I only wish they allowed for reservations for smaller tables but I understand their reasons. Overall a slam dunk of a first time going there.

We stopped in at the end of May and noticed several groups celebrating recent graduations from Davison High School. It was heartwarming to see so many families gathering to mark such a meaningful milestone in a place that feels both upscale and inviting. Our waitress was friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. The food? Absolutely fantastic. From perfectly cooked steaks to delicious drinks, everything hit the mark. Whether you're looking for a spot to host a celebration, enjoy a relaxing happy hour, or have a productive networking lunch, Lucky’s is a solid choice. It’s an upscale restaurant that still manages to keep that warm, hometown feel. Highly recommended!

It wasn’t great or awful. Being a steakhouse I ordered the filet mignon, medium. It was way over cooked, dry, and almost chewy. I don’t think it was actually a filet mignon. Not worth $27. Mushrooms and onions were barely cooked. My husband’s strip steak was better than the filet mignon. The atmosphere on the dining side is a dated and oddly open. Kind of felt like a coney. We probably won’t return.

We love dining here! Everything we have ever ordered has tasted absolutely delicious, and is cooked to perfection. The customer service we receive is always on point. Had a great experience, good food, polite staff, didn't wait long at all to get our meals.

We went in at the end of the night, on a Saturday. We were promptly greeted at the door and seated shortly after. Waited on by a lady named Sarah. She was very pleasant and attentive. She had many tables and sent over other staff members to check on our table when she couldn't. All our food was amazing and cooked as expected. It's always a great visit at this location.

This is for the Davison, MI. location. I gave our server 5 stars because she was AWESOME! My food... Not so much. I ordered a Filet cooked medium well with au gratin potatoes and a salad. My filet was so tough I couldn't hardly cut into it. I almost knocked over my water glass and extra zip sauce, trying to cut into this, what seemed like a "leather football". My "au Gratin" potatoes were horrible as well. Its just a baked potato with some cheese thrown in it. We go down to Troy all the time to eat, were we could get good quality food. It used to be I could tell everyone to go to, Lucky's Steakhouse, as well because their Filet Mignon would be on the level of Morton's Steakhouse and the other expensive restaurants there. I'm sorry to say, I will NEVER go back unless they go back to the quality food they use to have and not serve the lowest grade of meat they could find. I'm not even sure it was an actual Filet, because how can a filet be that tuff terrible??!!

Went here with my family for my daughter‘s 21st birthday dinner. The restaurant we intended to go to was closed due to a water main break in town so we ended up here. Wait was only about 15 minutes to be seated. Service took quite a while to come to the table and get a drink order along with some appetizers. Service was extremely slow and I understand they were busy but very little of our visit was enjoyable and on par for a restaurant at this price point. Once we received our salads we again had to ask for silverware and that took another 10 minutes to have it delivered to the table. We ordered the key lime and peach martinis that were each served in rock glasses and not martini glasses. Drinks were not very good but we drank them. Food was fine, but nothing to brag about. Had to ask for refills on drinks multiple times before they were delivered to the table. Overall experience with subpar and I do understand they were busy, but four people to have dinner and drinks over $200, the expectation is much higher than what was delivered. This might be a one time thing due to the emergency in town but either way not a good choice if you have standards or expectations. Would suggest a different place for sure.

I don't know why this place only has a 3.3 rating. The food was fabulous. It started with warm herbed French baguettes. The fish tacos on the appetizer menu were delicious. I highly recommend the crispy chicken Mac and cheese with bacon and drizzled with BBQ sauce. My husband ordered the French onion soup and said it was the best he'd ever had. The portions were very generous. Beer was ice cold! Staff were welcoming and prices were reasonable.

I have always liked the feel and ambience of this steakhouse, which has stayed true since they opened so many years ago! Our service was good, but the restaurant was still busy at our arrival at 8pm, which limited the amounts of check-ins we received and the time it took for drinks to arrive, which were crafted well! My Ribeye Gorgonzola, medium-rare, was cooked to perfection, and smothered with crusted Gorgonzola (hence the name), mushrooms and onions. My girlfriend's Bone-in Strip Steak, also ordered medium-rare, was bone dry. Her Mac'n'Cheese lukewarm. She didn't want to complain and continued eating, but when I finally convinced her to get it replaced and take it to go, Lucky's did so without hesitation. While the replacement steak looked like it was moist and exuding its juices, once we got home and cut into it, it was yet another dry steak. Very disappointing. When leaving, we overheard the neighboring table also returning a steak for being dry. Considering the difference between our steaks (succulent Ribeye vs dry Strip, both at medium rare) I can only assume that either, the cook is inexperienced with lower fat content steaks, or that the strips were of low quality. Either way, when we return we will not likely order another strip steak from Lucky's.

Stuffed mushrooms came out cold. Chicken Marsala was drenched in Marsala wine. Wasn't cooked off enough. Plating was sloppy and just thrown on the plate. Been going here for years and it's just steadily going down hill. Second meal here that was very disappointing.

Usually Lucky's is really good. I ordered the Chicken Piccata to go, which is on their online menu. What I received was Chicken, with no capers, and covered in mushrooms. I hate mushrooms and would never order a dish that had them. I called and the manager said they took the Chicken Piccata off their in-store menu, but it's still online and they will still make it if requested, but this is how they make it. She was very unapologetic. This isn't Piccata (it's Marsala) and they shouldn't try to pass it off like it is. It would be like ordering Spaghetti and getting Alfredo, and them saying, "well, that's how we make our spaghetti".

Good service but the food. Ordered the combo appetizer the ribs were ice cold. Like they just sauced them and put them on the plate. Mac and cheese that was just noodles and bread crumbs. No sauce no cheese and barely warm. My grandson ordered a rare ribeye steak and the top was grilled charcoal black with all the nasty flavor that goes with it. Clean your grill. It's truly a shame this use to be such a nice place to go

Dark wood panel walls in the dining room and bar area. Plenty of seating at 7 PM on a Tuesday so our party of two had our choice and we sat in the bar. Nicely warmed bread with herbs and garlic and salt was brought to the table with whipped butter first thing. I had the 16 ounce ribeye with the side of the Redskin, mashed potatoes and Caesar salad The Caesar salad was chopped Romain with mostly crisp leaves, but there was quite a bit of dressing. The anchovy is in the dressing, though I would have liked to perhaps have a strip of anchovy on the salad as well. The steak itself was perfect. Nice size and well marbled with fat. And a little fat at the end to chew on. Two good size scoops of the Redskin mashed potatoes were also delicious. My rye old fashioned was a good accompaniment Always worth eating at this location when I am in town.

Did not have a good experience order draft beer got bottle. Order steak med rare got blood rare. Ordered broccoli got salad. Baked potato was cold served. Had to ask two different waitresses to get our waitress. There was several more a serious disappointment.

After 50 minutes we never received food. We ordered Calamari a steakhouse salad, a chicken salad and chicken. Fuck this place and fuck their horrible service. We actually thought the "server" quit because she never made it back to our table.

The service was good with a good ambiance. I ordered lamb chops they were cooked well but under seasoned. My mom ordered steak as well it was under seasoned as well. When they get the seasoning part perfected this will make a great restaurant.

It is one of my favorites to stop at when I'm in town. The crab-stuffed grouper is fabulous. It's topped with a lobster cream sauce, and if you pair it with a salad and baked potato, you will likely waddle out of the restaurant a bit overstuffed. They do serve a lovely hot bread, but it's often a bit too salty. I tend to wipe the loaf off with a napkin before tearing it into it to help remove some salty seasoning. The service is usually decent, and you can count on the place being packed any day of the week. Getting a seat usually takes 15-20 minutes, but the food is worth the wait.

Salad, broccoli rotten, prime rib was hard to cut. Bread was hard. They lost my business. They forgot my broccoli I had to go in and get it. It wasn't busy it was a 4:00 on a Monday.

My dad and I stopped in for an impromptu dinner, and were pleasantly surprised. We had a GREAT meal, but the best part of the evening was our waitress, Lindsay. She was amazing! Attentive, sincere, helpful, cheerful, and professional. If you go to Lucky's in Davison, you want her section!

We had a great waitress. She was super friendly and stayed on top of everything we needed. She earned a nice tip. Three of us had burgers, a chicken sandwhich, side salads, french onion soup and the house bread for lunch. Everything was fresh, delicious and the portion sizes are terrific. Next time we will have come back for dinner so we can order steaks! We will be back soon!

We came in as a group of 7. This restaurant was very good. We started off with complimentary bread which was amazing. I ordered the seafood pasta which had salmon, scallops, shrimp, mussels, and clams. My pasta was perfectly cooked and hit the spot!

Not happy with their handling of cash because my recent to go order had my wife's entire, ENTIRE credit card information left on a sheet of paper near the kitchen. Food is tremendous. Methods and practices of taking transactions turns me off and May have sent me away.

It was my first time at Lucky"s Steak House. My boyfriend and I came here for lunch . Overall service was good. We didn't get any special drinks so service was less attentive. I evaded but ordering the BQQ Bacon Cheddar Chicken sandwich. Sandwich was delicious and large in size.

Horrible experience on my daughter's birthday today. We have been frequent customers for years with no issues. My kids ordered the kids' steaks, and th meat smelled, and the taste was foul.There was also hair in one order of the mashed potatoes. We informed the waitress, and she indicated she would let the manager know. The manager, Jeff, never came to our table and refused to do anything. This place is going downhill, and the lack of response from management is infereriating. The one star is only due to the waitress who was patient and kind.

Wow! Who knew the best restaurant in Flint is actually in Davison (that's close enough to Flint, right?). Anyhow, I was in Flint to take my spectacular Grandmother to dinner for her 93rd birthday and asked her to pick any spot she wanted to go, and Lucky's was our lucky place. Well, suffice it to say, my Grandma has great taste! My meal started with a bowl of the French Onion soup which, although unpretentious, was packed with excellent flavor and was delicious to the last drop. The complimentary bread served with our meals was a nice addition to the soup. For dinner I enjoyed the Gorgonzola ribeye, and I was certainly not disappointed. Warning: if you are a steak purest, which I usually am, and you aren't wanting to buck your trend, then you should "steer" clear of this choice, because the mushrooms and onions drowning in G-cheese that smother this generous slab of beef are so full of flavor that the meat takes on more of a complimentary role as opposed to the main edition, but on this night it was an excellent choice for me--no complaints from my finicky taste buds. Overall, this steak joint is not on par with the Ruth's Chris, McCormick's and Schmick's, or Fleming's level steakhouses, but it is what I might characterize as a great "family steakhouse"--An upgraded alternative to the packaged-for-the-masses Outback or Lonestar type franchises. Lucky's absolutely packs a punch in its own right, and as for this red meal connoisseur, I would pay the place another visit without hesitation. Head on in and see for yourself.

Well well well Davison, I guess this is the place to be. So much foot traffic and multiple handfuls of people just waiting to be called on and seated. This place can be described as having a homely atmosphere in a relatively small town, family and friends vibe, where everyone knows one another. Though we waited the waiting wasn't entirely too long and we did get seated and served right away. Our waitress was lovely and informative and checked in on us when needed. I have never been here before, but I was invited by family who have been, and they enjoyed it very much. I tend to overindulge if I go to a place that is far away from home (different state). So, I got their coconut shrimp it wasn't too bad but just a little too crispy for my taste. I also got a piece of meat with a lobster tail which was nice and of course you can't forget the dessert. I had their carrot pie which was so huge that it took me a couple of days to finish. Tasty. And do not worry there is ample parking, you should be able to find one quick.

The food is always good, we usually get prime rib and we have never had a bad piece. The potatoes are huge and are a meal themselves. The waitress have all been good and take good care of you. The only bad thing to say is the restroom is so small that if there is more than 2 people in there, you get hit by the door.

Solid local steak house. Great steaks to pasta. Even my kids love there sirloin kids meal. It's great I've snuck a bite. Best Ranch around.

Terrible customer service ordered the pasta dish and it was nothing but over cooked noodles with no sauce the manager refused to give me my money back or replace it with something else. I will never patronize this establishment ever again

Made reservations for ten i had my party of eight already there they still refused to seat us until all ten were there then they split us up all while seating another family behind us with only four at that time at a ten person table after complaining they pushed tables together for us oh and this was my birthday dinner that they ruined everyone was spending good money my meal for three was almost 300 dollars my prime rib was thin cold and tasteless the lobster tails were cold no butter or brown sugar on my yam sent food back to reheat and it came back worse I really think they didn't like us no one was satisfied and you tipped yourself for this awful experience

We dined here with family on a recent visit. The place was packed and there were groups of people waiting outside. We waited about 15 minutes for a table for 5 people. The service was stellar from the start of the meal to the finish. The steaks were cooked perfectly and seasoned well. Oh.. and that fresh baked bread was magnificent.

very large menu that will accommodate the taste of everyone in your party! Service is very friendly and the staff seems well versed and knowledgeable regarding the menu, and every meal i've ever had here has been cooked to order and delicious. The Jumbo shrimp scampi, the Big Ribeye, and salmon new orleans are 3 can't miss choices and the fish tacos on the appetizer menu are wonderful. prices are very competitive with other steakhouses but the attention to detail and presentation seem above par compared to others. always been a great experience when we've gone to Luckys

Wife had stuff groper. With sweet potato and a salad. I had prime rib shoestring Potatoes and potato soup. Love the bread. And the cheesecake is to die for. Service was very good

All the steakhouses have the same style and the steaks are pretty much on par with one another but few stand out in my mind as unforgettable. Sorry Lucky's but you didn't make the grade on this visit. I enjoyed the restaurant design, the friendly staff and the attentive waitress but the steak was sub par at best even though cooked the way I asked and served up nicely I was disappointed. The steak had a of flavor and not juicy at all. New your strip cooked Medium should have some taste and juice! I was happy with the salad and bread. Both were very fresh and enjoyable. The restaurant was busy and the cleanliness was evident throughout. Plenty of parking and the bar served great mixed drinks. The manager was friendly and visited the tables during the evening. That's always a nice touch having a entertaining/upbeat manager that genuinely enjoys making his clientele happy. I can't recommend this location but maybe the other entree's on the menu are better. I'll give them another chance and let you know afterwards.

We stopped here between lunch and dinner time on a Sunday and even at an "off" time, this place was packed. We were seated immediately despite the parking lot being pretty full. There were so many amazing choices on the menu. The crab stuffed mushroom appetizer was delicious! Our dinners also did not disappoint. Delicious, good portions, friendly service. We will definitely stope here again when we are in town!

This place has good food but they obviously don't need my business. I called to ask if they do anything special for birthdays. "No". Okay, that's fine. Can you help me with a reservation "We're not taking anymore reservations for today". It's not for today. It's for Sunday. "Oh, okay, what time would you like". 5:30pm "Oh, we don't take any reservations past 5pm". Okay, that's fine. We can come earlier. "How many people?" Two. "Oh, we don't take reservations for parties less than six people". Oh, so you can't help me at all then. "....silence" They hung up.

The best food and service hands down. The prices are very reasonable, we love coming here!

We love the other locations for lucky's but this was not as good. My potato was not cooked and was just plain, my steak was good well but my husband asked for medium and his was raw. The waitress never really came over to ask us if we needed anything.

We haven't been to Luckys in a long time. But decided to go for my birthday this year. Regretfully. I ordered a once delicious dish the chicken tenders. Which used to taste like they were handmade and dipped and deep fried. Now? They taste like frozen chicken baked in the oven the same kind you buy at the grocery store. But overcooked in top of it. They were awful. The baked potato could have used another half hour to cook it wasn't fully done. Their food has gotten worse since the last time we went two years ago if that's even possible. Won't go back and don't recommend.

They haven't gotten worse over the years. Au ju can be very salty at times. Steaks and side dishes are cold. Very load atmosphere. Cramped seating. I would rather cook my own steak.

I have eaten here quite a few times now, and I will say that service and food have been very good overall. My steak was a little over cooked on my visit last week, but that has not been my typical experience. I've tried several items on the menu and have been pleased with most. The prime rib and lobster tail is my favorite. The wedge salad is great too. They are usually very busy, so plan to wait at peak times.

I just want to reach out and say thank you to this establishment during these trying times. My wife and I always seem to rely on this place as being our local GO TO restaurant whenever we want the best food at reasonable prices, served by courteous and friendly servers. Quality is always excellent, and the portions are amazing, usually sending us home with lunch for tomorrow. The bread is fantastic and the carrot cake is amazing but be prepared to share it with a friend. We were pleased to learn just today that this restaurant will be offering take out items even though most of the restaurants in the chain are still closed. We have had many good meals at Lucky's Steakhouse in Davison throughout the years, but today was a huge disappointment from receiving the wrong food to being treated poorly by the female manager on this Sunday afternoon, July 16, 2023. We ordered a take out order and I ordered a Surf and Turf filet mignon butterflied with a lobster tail. I opened my meal to find a very flat sirloin steak in my order, no butterfly cut and absolutely not a filet. Because I was not ruining my husband's meal by having to return it and have it corrected. I ate the sirloin and it was fine, but it was not what I paid for. I also ordered French onion soup as a side. I dug into it and was enjoying it when I came upon some cooked, shredded chicken. I called to explain. the nice young man apologized and said he would take it to his manager. I was on the phone 7 minutes waiting and the manager came to the phone. She insisted that the steak I got was certainly a filet and not a sirloin. She said that some cuts of filets look like that. Then she tried to tell me that the shredded chicken in my French onion soup was a large clove of garlic. When I told her that we are frequent customers that eat there often and I know what I received, she disregarded my complaint. I explained that I've haf filets and I had sirloins. I know the difference. She basically told me I should have taken pictures and she is right, I should have. She then told me that she had researched this for 15 minutes and tried to find the answer. At this point, I had been on the call for 8 minutes. I guess I thought that good customers who have rarely had a complaint would be believed when a complaint was made. I was wrong. No consideration was given. It will be a long time (if ever) before we will dine at Lucky's Steakhouse in Davison again. I hope that telling a customer she is wrong was worth the lost business.

Service is top notch, very fancy, the bread loaves taste so good, the steak and burgers are amazing and there French fries taste great!

Went here for Valentine's day with my boyfriend. The food was delicious as always and the waitress was just lovely. I wish I could remember her name. My only complaint is they said the wait would be twenty minutes and we were left waiting for an hour because the hostess forgot about us. I'll still come back happily! Mistakes happen.

The experience you will have at Lucky's will vary HIGHLY based on what you order. Their chicken dishes are pretty good, their seafood is pretty good, but I would not recommend spending your money on a steak here. The best and most consistent items on their menu are definitely their sandwiches, the potato soup, and their bread.
