Bartenders are amazing and it’s a shame this place is no more. I consider all of them family and have been coming here since it opened… bartenders are the best and all have treated me with awesome respect and their humor and banter is the best and the reason why we all come here so if you can’t handle sarcasm might wanna stay home with mommy.

I've been coming here for a while and this is still one of the places I can stand going to downtown. The bathroom attendant, Yolanda, is phenomenal and gives great advice. All in all, this place is alright! I think they can replace the wobbly tables outside...

So, my friend and I were visiting. We were excited to check this place out. The bartender with the blue/greenish hair was very rude and dismissive. Very aggressive and it made me uncomfortable to want to order AS A PATRON… imagine? She mocked and made fun of people who wanted service? Maybe this is not the profession for her. I will NEVER attempt to order a drink from her ever again.

Decent music and the vibe is alright after hours. Didn’t try the food but the tap selection was decent

My husband and I were on vacation from NY and stumbled upon this place. Atmosphere was awesome, we were walking down the street looking for a place and heard emo music and knew this was for us. Laid back environment, quiet before the night crowd came out, top notch service and music before the DJ came. Would definitely come back if we ever find ourselves in FL again.

Yummy frozen margaritas! Usually has lots of good specials all throughout the week, even on weekends. A nice vibe, lots of pink lights, and even the occasional country live music. Kelly was the sweetest.

Never been here before last night, seeing my son’s band- I’m a huge fan of this bar, would love to have my name on the wall one day for knocking down all 100 beers.

visiting from st pete and tried to find a dive bar to hang at for the night. bartender with the blue hair barely said hello and got us a drink then proceeded to play darts with her friends. we were the only ones in the bar and had empty drinks for at least 5 minutes before we just left (had card on tab). I’m a bartender so i get chilling on a slow night, but out right ignoring your only pay customers is wilddddd. get a grip girl

This "rowdy" bar in the Himmarshee area is known for its no frills vibe. As a downtown bar, it is mostly favored for its beers/drinks and as a late night venue. It's had its mix of clientele over the years. Even the tourists and spring breakers have enjoyed coming here. As I'm not much of a drinker, I usually just enjoyed all the crazies -- that is the people watching. And sometimes the music -- in my younger days. We would sometimes stop in after a show at the Broward Center to wait until the traffic died down. Locals should make sure they go there this week. I recently read that they will be closing at the end of this month.

When I say this is one of the most safest securest find this place to be around I mean that when I say they have security at the door and is very spacious with a Lotta very fun things to do ranging from dancing playing pool tables and socializing with friends this place is so clean and the atmosphere from the employees make it a better place I have not experienced one bad time at this location this location has me addicted to the point to where I come out every Friday just enjoy myself the bartenders I really good and professional nice and do not overdo things as other ones do I recommend this place for any young person that likes to experience an old-school vibe Come Check It Out Dj djrokwell And the bartender Kelly

Dylan was great. Helped us out from the beginning with friendly and attentive service. He let us know all of the specials and even offered to make us a cocktail when we couldn't decide. It was yummy! It was our first time here and we had a great time.

We went down to celebrate my friend's birthday in Fort Lauderdale, with the nights involving us hit the bars in Himmarshee and Las Olas. Obviously, with the former, we crawled from one bar to another and Lucky's was one of them. The bar is like most typical college-20-something hangouts: open late; neon lights, DJ booth, dance floor, multiple drink specials for the price of one, but with a sizeable craft beer selection, all the standard spirits, and drinks made fast by experienced bartenders. All those points are fine and dandy. Dandy and fine. But nothing more than that. Space has been interchangeable with other similar named bars for a while now. Lucky's is the latest. But it is a solid watering hole, I'll give them that. The bar fits in well with the Himmarshee bar scene for young lads and lassies to drink until they think they are the lord Bacon Ra, and jump into the New River because they think they can fly. But with the first drink, I was brought back to a few years earlier when I lived in Fort Lauderdale and drunk off my ass a few days a week. Lucky's is a good spot for good times and buzzes that turn into drunken lullabies and humongous hangovers.

Great experience! Easy to get in. Fun dance floor with quick access to the bar. Not hard to get drinks even if it's packed. The vibes were great. Music was all over the place but definitely tried to cater to all.

Houston was great with the shots and friendliest bar tender I've met! Great vibes at this bar for chilling with friends :)

Someone walked up on our dart game and started playing, and after being confronted about it he started trying to fight our whole group and the bouncer kicked us out and screamed at us saying "don't talk shit to my people" "idgaf" "I'm not listening" over and over??? We were in a group of 15 and had been there for a long time. Had zero problems before. The bouncer had a long white beard and caused all of us to leave. DO NOT COME HERE!!!! There is a reason this place has been dead for years. Extremely disappointed and will never come back!!!!!!!!!!

I haven't ate here. But Houston is by far the friendliest bartender I've come across. Being I'm not from the the suburbs. Music is laid back but super fun at night. The bartender even comes out and swing dances with me since it's not my area normally

I love going to Luckys! The music is always great and it's always a fun time! Dillion and Houston are the best bartenders! They put on a great show and make awesome customized drinks. Definitely a must to visit!

This is a difficult place to rate, as what one might think of it definitely depends upon what day of the week or what time day or night that you are there. I've been in here a few times and it and it can really hop and be with it on weekends when they have entertainment and the bartenders generally hop along with the crowd pretty well. Other times, like week days somewhat dull and divey, generally only be patronized by a few beer guzzling regulars with whom the bartenders will be chatting in a sort of killing time manner. They are well known for having one of the largest beer selections, something like 113, and I understand may even have some award together with hangover bragging rights if you manage to drink one of each. Once inside you'll see a huge blackboard with an incredible number of selections, most interesting being those that are brewery custom crafted. Every night is also generally designated as some sort of special type of night like a "Ladies Night Wednesday," if that is what they want to call some of the drunken girls I've noted there, an "Acoustic Night" and so forth, but you might want to check out their web site in advance to see whatever action they have going as I've generally found that, unlike many other establishments, Lucky's seems to keep their site up to date and accurate. Their entertainment has been, from what I've seen and heard, generally been pretty good. Most of the patrons seem to be of the 20 or early 30 somethings and, at least of those I've met, more so local than tourist or vacationers.

On a night out, check out this little gem on Las Olas. The crowd is mixed ages depending on the season. (But that's FL right ‍) Dylan is a gem!!! He makes great drinks and really friendly. They have games and a decent DJ playing your rock favs.

The security and Houston are cool. The mother fucker who kinda looks like Houston but with more tattoos is a bitch. Imma take a pic of him then I'll be back with another review he's rude

Over 60 craft beers, so the husband was in heaven. Full liquor too, so I was content. Las Olas has a hipster secrion, near the very end and this was in it. There is even a nightclub near but we didn't go as it was supposed to open at 9 but wasn't yet at 915 so we decided to go to the other end of Las Olas.

I was visiting Ft. Lauderdale last weekend and had a blast at this bar. It's the place to go if you're up to party. Maria the dancer made it super fun, she livened things up even more plus she was a sweetheart! Definitely will be back next time I visit.

Great time with great friends! We went here for our friends birthday. He turned 29 1/2 and had a great time. His name is Matt. He is shy but a ladies man. Now Sammy is the best bartender. No others come close. Mark had fun. Dillon also is a great bartender.

I went twice, once on a Thursday and then the following Saturday. Thursday was great no problems(was empty). But Saturday the bouncer would not let my friends in due to being black. They let me in every time I wanted but when it came to them who were dressed well, not hood, They said they were full capacity. They had empty tables all over the place due to covid but still said that. We stayed outside and tried to come back in multiple times and each time we were turned away. They also turned away a group of trans which also just shows the ignorance of the owners. I am not gonna say it's like that every time but Saturday night if you're a group of black men and women I would not go there.

This was our second bar hopping stop on a given Friday night. On the previous stop we just couldn't get the drinks from the waitresses fast enough. This place was not very busy that night so we came thinking we should be able to get our drinks quicker here. A very typical bar: a full bar at one side of the wall, a few tables on the opposite side, and a lot of empty space in between, which I assume is intended for dancing? Well, none of us was in the mood for dancing and no one was dancing anyway. We ordered a few drinks and we saw there was a huge Jenga game on a table in front of us. Its a lot of fun to play while having a few drinks. We had a great time there!

Dylan and Houston are some of the best bartenders I have ever seen. They took care of everyone in our group and always were there when our cups needed a refill. Loved the vibes.

Literally one of the best bars around Fort Lauderdale, ladies night free drinks on Thursdays are the way to go. This place never disappoints! The bartenders are always really nice and always a good vibe

I have never felt so compelled to write a yelp review before but what this bartender did was utterly disrespectful. The bartenders were great at first, very accommodating and a lot of fun. We were about to leave, after spending $100, and just asked to play one song. Being from new york, we wanted to play a song to tribute 9/11. We were the few left in the bar and all we wanted was ONE SONG. The one bartender, named Dylan, kicked us out for this one request, saying "I don't care." I work at a bar and absolutely hate yelp, but I feel the need to try to get this out to anybody who sees this because the fact that this bartender disrespected 9/11 the way he did shouldn't go unnoticed. If you ever end up at this bar and come into contact with the bartender named Dylan, can you please give him a huge Fuck You from me and all of my friends and family in New York, who lost everything on 9/11. He is an absolute disgrace.

went in there with a date last night .. ordered 2 shots of Patron, 1 Amstel and 1 Redbull .. the pretty bartender handed me the tab for $71.. i asked "are u sure?" she replied yes .. $71 + tip = $85 !!!! ouch ! Not Lucky.. we got outta there immediately

Fun vibe. Very casual and laid back. It's located within walking distance of tons of other bars on riverfront so it's great for bar hopping and they do not charge cover which is awesome. I usually always stop in when I'm in downtown fort lauderdale. It's a great place to come on the weekend as its usually pretty busy.The weekdays are slower depending on the special they are offering that night and the crowd usually thickens on Thursday. Young vibe, I'd say mostly 35 and under. Great place to come for beer drinkers. The bar has a huge selection, 113 different beers to choose from. Not great on crafted cocktails however. They offer basic well drinks- rum and coke, vodka soda, jack and coke etc- which is pretty standard of the dive bars in downtown fort lauderdale. The drinks are affordable and the bartenders are quick and attentive. The music is loud and bumping, They play some of the latest hits along with old school jams. They have some interactive games to keep the night going. You can also play a game of giant jenga or beer pong while you listen to the tunes. The only thing I don't like is how smokey it gets inside, but that's trivial is it a bar after all. I would recommend if you're into the dive bar atmosphere it's a laid back fun place to go.

Definitely my favorite bar in The downtown area! 113 beers! Who else does that?!?!? This place is a great places to try some new beers!! The staff is so super friendly!! Especially the hotty Shalom!!! This is Fort Lauderdale number one Chive bar also, so if you don't know about the Chive, Better learn soon!

If there was an option for zero stars I would have selected that. We get to the front of the line and are told that the bar is at capacity. Waited outside for a few minutes and saw people leaving and a line forming again. So we wait in the line again and then are told that there's no room again. As we see plenty of open tables inside because people had left. We get out of the line and see several people entering afterwards. We then see them turn down several trans people for the same reason. 4 out of the 6 in my group were black and multiracial. This all happened Saturday. Not our first time inside went several times before. Don't go to this place unless you're white unless you want to grovel at there feet to let you in.

Sat at the bar for roughly five minutes. Bartender made eye contact, but was serving a few other patrons. Bartender walked over to his phone, picked it up, leaned against the bar, and started texting. Tons of other places in the area, apparently didn't want our business. Later!

Never really partied at Las Olas till last Friday. It was pretty fun but then again I was pretty intoxicated so of course everything is fun...till the next day. Well we went to some other bar where I forgot to check in :( But I did remember Lucky Tavern cause I had so much fun. After coming back from eating some bobm empandas from around the corner, my friend and I met up with the rest of the group here. I'm not really a club person so I enjoyed Lucky Tavern Bar. I guess the music was on point that night. They had some girls dancing at the bar and some pervs can go underneath them and they put theit nsweaty stuff all over the men. Hey I'm not hating but ewwww. Maybe I'm too old to be in this type of environment, I just thing it's gross. Entertainment I guess. I didn't buy any drinks but I heard my girlfriend say their bottled water is $3. Normal for a bar. I've paid worse. I would def come here again because I loved the music the DJ was playing. Las Olas is def a college town, so be prepare to party.

OMG horrible place to go to. Did not like the crowd at all! never again. Decided to try going to Ft. Lauderdale but I don't think I'll be going again anytime soon.

Favorite place to be in Broward. Friendly, Family-Like staff. Reasonably priced (and well made) drinks. 113 beers to choose from - all ice cold. This place seems to draw mish-mosh of crowds, probably because of the welcoming atmosphere. Lights are dim, but bright enough to see all the action ( great for people watching lol ). The DJ's seem to watch the crowds and cater the music to suit, plus it's great when they play videos too. My biggest complaint for the OTHER bars downtown is the music is too damn loud to have conversations - not at Lucky's. It's quiet enough to have conversations without yelling, but loud enough that the people 5 feet away won't know you're talking shit about them lol. Also the bathrooms are sparkling-clean and the attendant is friendly. Overall a great place to be.

Awesome bar.. Stiff drinks.. Inexpensive.. Bartenders kick ass. Get rid of the bathroom attendant. What a joke to see a rude a$$ of a bathroom attendant in such a great downtown spot on a Saturday night. Fire whoever thought this was a good idea. The guy is an a hole and makes you customers feel uncomfortable. We all learned how to wash our own hands along time ago. Get a real job. My 2 cents. The only problem with this bar.

A solid bar. Not too crowded, nice choice of drafts, good specials. $10 buckets on a friday, I approve! They also have live bands, beer pong, as well as tables and 2 bars. A great place to start or end the night.
