I am a dessert lover and I am a girl. “There is always room for dessert” is what I say everyday. When I got to know about Lucy Pearls, I knew I had to try their cakes. The atomic cake was interesting. There were three different flavors; chocolate, yellow, and banana, in a slice. It was like buying 3 cakes for the price of 1. While the chocolate and banana flavors went hand-in-hand, I’m not too sure about the yellow cake’s presence. The banana cake had the perfect sweetness but it could have a stronger banana flavor. My favorite was the carrot cake. The flavor was authentic and the cream cheese frosting was perfect. I saw sweet potato pie slice on the menu and I was intrigued. Sweet potato is one of my favorite vegetables to make into desserts (doesn’t matter Asian or American dessert). But what I received was a small sweet potato tart instead. The crust was slightly thick and the crust could have baked a tad longer. However, the sweet potato filling was great. As for the confetti cupcakes and cookies, they tasted like typical cupcakes and cookies. They were good. The lady at the counter answered all my questions patiently. Great service! The kiosk is at the back of the food court where the X staircase is. I couldn’t find the store initially as the bright lights from the surrounding stores confused me. There are two paid parking entrances and exits to the parking lot in front of POST. Parking could be a challenge during peak hour as the parking lot is rather small. The parking fee could be paid online but have to exit within 30 minutes.

Lucy Pearls is a great little dessert spot inside POST Houston. They’re known for their cakes, pies, and cupcakes. Granny’s Cake was absolutely delicious. Every cake we order was very moist and extremely tasty. The key lime pie is more sweet than tangy, but still very delicious. The owner Lucy was super nice and very helpful. I will definitely be returning to try some of the other cake flavors! Other items sold include: bagels, cookies, croissants, and pies.

As I tasted the carrot cake it reminded me of something from the past. Almost like a taste of home. Good is an understatement. Velvety softness and smoothness are about the only words that come to mind right now but that carrot cake has been on my mind since Saturday morning. Definitely need to go back. Would recommend 1000 times over. Run, don't walk, for this cake. It is cake so it is sweet but not an overpowering sweetness. The cream cheese frosting was so buttery and soft. Please visit this spot at POST Houston. It will not disappoint.

Google
I don’t usually leave reviews but this place was incredible! I ordered the 8” Brooklyn blackout cake for a graduation about five days in advance. It looked amazing, tasted amazing, and stayed fresh for at least two days after. We got so many compliments on it. Picking it up was super easy and straightforward, and it was well packaged for transport in the car. Overall, worth the price and would order again!

Lucy's Pearl's Lemon Blueberry Cupcakes literally put the icing on the cake for our wedding day. I'm not a huge cake person, but got the chance to try these heavenly treats during their soft opening at POST and instantly fell in love with them. I knew I wanted them instead of a traditional wedding cake when my then fiance (newlyweds) proposed. Everyone at the wedding marveled over how delicious they were! Nicole and her team are the very best. They are professional but warm, make the most delicious treats, and were so thoughtful and caring about every detail. Stop by and try them, you'll be every bit as amazed as I was!

Where do I start ! Everything was Great! I’m always seeing and passing Lucy Pearls when I’m at Post Houston. I knew the cakes were extremely good because my Wife and Mom are there every week. No seriously! They’re either ordering the Granny’s Cake (their favorite ) or ordering and trying their new soon to be favorite. I always get the cookies because I’ve only seen vegan options in cookies until I asked. In short, Lucy Pearl’s has the BEST Vegan Cake in the city. They are truly a blessing, and with that one bite, so many memories came rushing in. I haven’t taste cake like that in years. Quickly, you can start to realize and see that everything is Great here. *Note. I was even kind of difficult, I wanted the Granny’s Cake but Vegan and they delivered 1000%. The customer service is truly an experience and you will feel like family. You have to visit this place with your family and friends. Thanks Lucy Pearl’s! Keep being Great.⬆️

Had the chance to visit Lucy Pearl's and I have to say the customer service from Mercedes was phenomenal. I wanted to try something different and she suggested the gluten free cupcake and this amazing cake. She took her time and answered all my questions. Hands down both were exceptional. I will definitely be back!

Lucy Pearls - inside the Post Market off Franklin Street. This place has one of, if not my favorite - Bourbon Pecan Pie! It’s a must try! I’ve had several of their pies, cakes, etc. if your a Banana Pudding Cake, to a Carrot Cake, etc. They got it! The employee’s are always super helpful if your torn between flavors and combinations. Let them know what you like and they will be glad to point you to a few suggestions. Quick to serve, knowledgeable, and friendly. The parking is the only thing that can be a pain. Or if you visit during an event / weekend. It can get pretty packed during the prime time hours. During the week at around 4pm it’s pretty quite and easy to get through it all. Stop by and try some of these delicious treats!

Yelp
A random late night craving for cake had me stumble upon Lucy Pearl's, which was the only bakery serving cake that was still open. And what a serendipitous encounter it ended up being. We chose a Betty Lou slice. I was SHOOK after the first bite. It was the best cake I can remember having. SO moist and surprisingly, "not too sweet", the ultimate Asian dessert compliment. The coconut taste is also not overpowering so non-coconut lovers would enjoy it too. At this point we had also already done 4 wedding cake tastings, all of weren't up to hubby's standard. For him the cake had to be moist. But Lucy Pearl's? Immediate approval after the first bite. The process for putting in a wedding cake order was also super easy. We did a free tasting with Nicole, where she let us try all the flavors we wanted. We went over the guest count, how many tiers we wanted, and the flavors. No extra charge for multiple flavors. We then paid 50% of the quote to secure the date. They only cater one event each day and bake the cake as fresh as possible. Her price was super reasonable and affordable. We even paid extra for double sized portions and the total cost was less than $1000 for 125 guests. Note that the quote was for the cake itself only and did not come with a free anniversary cake, which other bakeries did offer. Nicole will let you know if anything is wrong, so no news is good news. And I probably seemed like a bridezilla with my very specific design instructions, so I was so so happy when they delivered the exact vision I had for our wedding cake design. Not gonna lie, I was slightly apprehensive as I didn't see any examples of previous wedding cakes they had done. But I was floored with the results. We had no issues with the delivery and they were on time. The leftover cake was still moist even days afterwards. Multiple guests asked me who our cake vendor was, and I feel so happy to support local minority small business owners. Note to future newlyweds: order less cake than you think you will need. We definitely overdid it with the double cake portions.

Yelp
I don't often make room for dessert, but I'll always make room for Lucy Pearl's. As one of my favorite stalls within POST Market, they've been one of the most consistent and highest rated businesses in the building. Their decadent cake slices would make eyes roll back in indulgence and their variety makes them the most versatile dessert spot in the whole building. That aroma, especially during the afternoon while they're baking is intoxicating. Whether it's their banana pudding cake, carrot cake, or their incredibly rich double chocolate cake, Their tiramisu and pecan pie are to die for as well, and the key lime pie is fantastic. While good, I think their tres leches, NY cheesecake, cake pops and red velvet won't outdo the rest of their selection. I personally enjoy coming here and trying something new each time, but there are just some things they offer that are heart stoppers. For folks who are willing to spend the money (#1), I would order a custom cake for a party, and marvel at all the folks who are licking their lips and foodgasming. While I don't see the owner here too often, the young staffers that do work here are always friendly. I know they're moving to another stall within the food hall; downsizing to a more manageable size. I'm just glad they're remaining at POST and look forward to my next visit again. ___________ (#1) And it's definitely a premium price tag.

Yelp
horrible service and bad food. Do not recommend when there are so many other great places to go.

Yelp
Whew .... I have no idea how to even describe the cookie. You know how a listerine strip when you place it on your tongue it just melts. That's what the confetti cookie I had did. It was so moist and luscious, I was disappointed in myself for eating it because I craved so much more of the cookie. It was just that good. I will definitely recommend this place to others. I plan to stop by and try more of their wonderful desserts. If one cookie had me star struck I could only imagine the love added in the cakes and pies.

Yelp
They have closed down! Wow, finally had something I liked and then POOF they are gone....

Yelp
I had the most amazing slice of strawberry cake that made my tastebuds dance for joy! It was a party in my mouth! The softness of the cake was light yet flavorful. The icing is creamy and delicious. I was sad when it got down to the last piece. I can't wait to go back for my next slice! I brought friends from out of town to experience this wonder, and I smiled, seeing their eyes close from delight taking that first bite. They took slow bites to make sure that slice lasted as long as it could...lol. Needless to say, don't wait, enjoy the experience of Lucy Pearl's as soon as you can. Trust me, your tastebuds will thank you for it! Service? Charming, sweet Southern hospitality. Food? Simply delicious Price? Well worth the quality of the baked goods served Ambiance? Located in Post Houston, a little busy but it's totally ok.

Yelp
I spent $70 on desserts just to write this review. Ok, that's not completely true- I spent $70 on desserts because I have a serious sweet tooth and love supporting black owned. Here's what $70 will buy you at Lucy Pearl: *1 giant cake OR *1/2 a giant cake - this easily fed 5 people, and could certainly feed more. We chose German Chocolate it for what it's worth it was "my father" approved. *a slice of banana cream pie - I sizable portion. For what it's worth it was "my mother" approved. *a slice of turtle cheesecake- the cheesecake texture is softer than most other cheesecakes I've tried. Certainly a must try *one salted caramel macaroon- which is certainly larger than your average macaroon *a slice of Brooklyn blackout cake- are we sure this isn't the Matilda cake? It's incredibly decedent, rich, and fairly moist. I'm a chocoholic, so chocolate coating my mouth is certainly a turn on, but if that's not your jam, this may not be your cake. I certainly will order this one again. If you want something special (like a whole cake) I'd highly recommend calling, but otherwise ordering online is fairly straightforward. I had trouble finding my order when I arrived, but the ladies at the counter were very helpful. Note that Lucy Pearl is located inside of post market SO if Post is hosting an event, you might have to deal with parking conjugation. Overall, there's so much more worth trying. The selection is fantastic, the baked goods fresh, and the service on point. We're glad they're here.

Yelp
I ordered a cake for my Mother's 65th birthday dinner. It was beautiful, delicious and was ready ahead of the pickup time I scheduled. They were great about me changing the plans at the last minute and will surely recommend them to anyone seeking tips notch service, they are such a reliable bakery! Thanks again for making this birthday a special one for my mother, she was thrilled by everything!

Yelp
With its incredibly moist cakes and Texas-sized portions, Lucy Pearl's is one of my top cake spots in Houston! I love the Brooklyn blackout, which is super chocolatey for those chocolate cravings, but the Italian Cream flavor takes the cake for me-- I'm not a fan of coconut or cream cheese (and this cake has both), but the frosting wasn't too sweet or heavy on the cream cheese, and the cake was sooo moist and soft. It has a sort of vanilla/almond flavor. I ate 3 slices of it yesterday, so it's really, really good!! I recommended their Italian cream cake for my friend's birthday party and it was a hit. They preordered a double layer half sheet cake with a printed image on top. It was ready on time, and they even wheeled it out to our car to make sure we didn't drop the heavy cake, so nice! The bday girl and guests enjoyed the cake. A double layer half sheet cake serves plenty; we cut about 50 portions out and still had about half of the cake left! A bit out of the way for me, but they'll see me again for more yummy cake :D Their single serving slices are precut and packaged so it's really fast to grab one... or two along with any cookies or cupcakes too. Unlike most bakeries, they are open late! Check them out when you're at POST or in downtown!

Yelp
Grabbed a couple of cookies and some edges from here. The cookies were really good. Had to add a few seconds of heat, for me. I would've preferred brownie edges vs the sweet potato pecan pie edges. Not a fan. But the flavor was there. I would stop back by if in the area.

Yelp
This little gem is worth knowing about it. It is black owned and the desserts all look excellent. Upon walking up, you will be welcomed by the owners. They are a very kind couple and super informative about their desserts. They also took the time to share their story about how they started, which to me further explains why their desserts are so delicious. I tried the tres leches and they by far exceeded my expectations. The portion size is large, number one. Then the moistness/wetness of the cake is perfection, which was a pleasant surprise as with tres leches it could definitely be hit or miss. Lastly, the firm, but soft (a whole contradiction lol but if you bite into it you will get what I mean) texture AND the taste, quickly brought their tres leches to my number one spot. Will definitely visit again for the tres leches and to try their other options.

Yelp
Dropped into Lucy Pearls and picked up my usual favorite, the strawberry cake. It was as scrumptious as ever. My daughter enjoyed it too, mentioning the icing was spot on - not too overwhelming, just perfect. It's a place that consistently delivers on taste. The wait wasn't long at all. Next time around, I might just venture out and try a different flavor. Maybe...

Yelp
YES YES AND UMMM, YES!!!! I came here after our YES event and I wasn't keen on the idea of having sweets so late at night. However, I'm glad I did. I sank my teeth into a moist caramel cupcake with butter cream icing. It was absolutely spectacular and I was thoroughly impressed. Sweets are not my thing but I'd eat that cupcake anytime!! The best thing about Lucy Pearl's is the customer service. We had the pleasure of meeting the owners and they are as sweet as their products!!! I highly recommend this place and I can't wait to take my kids here!!

Yelp
This spot nestled inside the post is perfect for a sweet treat. Their slices are amazing but they also are a full service bakery. I have ordered cakes in a pinch and am always impressed. Extremely professional service. The sleeper hit here is their breakfast sandwiches. They are massive and served on flakey buttery slabs of pastry. I had no idea they offered these until I wondered in hungover looking for pho. The pho place had shut down and I aimlessly searched for a replacement and discovered these sammies are super well priced and perfection after a night of drinking. Well deserved 5 stars across the board from me!
google avatar

Hillary S.

Yelp
SO GOOD! I tried the vanilla cake slice and the Italian also. The frosting, which is usually the highlight of cake for me, was delicious, but the cake was out of this world. I have eaten cake all over the world and the texture, moistness, and flavor of this cake was up there with the best. The service was friendly and fantastic. The gentleman helping me warned me that my frosting might melt on a 20 minute walk home, and if he ever wonders, it made it just fine!
google avatar

Laura M.

Yelp
Inside Post Mall Food court. Strawberry cake was moist and nice, i liked that it wasn't too sweet, but would have liked more strawberry flavor. Overall an 8/10. Bought a small cheesecake for a friend and he said it was good. The praline a 3/10 was not up to this southern girl's standard. Will come back and try a different flavor cake.

Danielle H.

Yelp
Love Lucy Pearl's bakery. I went to go visit only to find they are no longer at Post Houston (very shocked). Customer service and all the baked goods are nothing short of amazing. I'm looking forward to them coming back in 2025!

Yelp
After finding out I was too late to order pies from my local bakery, I started looking for another place to get them for our Thanksgiving dinner. I was so lucky to find Lucy Pearl's We had 14 people coming and my oven doesn't work. For the first time, I got a lemon meringue pie that was as good as the ones my grandmother made. The pecan pie went very fast. Everyone was pleased with the desserts and I will certainly be going to Lucy Pearl's again. They were able to accommodate all I wanted and even brough the pies out to me at the loading dock a the back of the POST Market, so I didn't even have to pay for parking. COuldn't have been more convenient. I can't wait to get into their cakes for other events at our house. It's almost worth not having an oven. Couldn't attach a photo because they were all eaten by the time I though to do a review. Oh, I can't believe I forgot the Peach Cobbler. It was delicious, and a half sheet left us a ouple of servings the next day to have with our left-overs. It was just delicious. The only way it could have been better was to have been a cherry cobbler (our favorite here).

Yelp
Delicious! What a great idea to sale cake by the slice at a food hall!!! Not just any cake either, this cake is delicious, moist and made with real ingredients!

Yelp
This is my..hmm, I've lost count on my visits! This is definitely a place to go when you need a sweet treat! Trust me you won't be disappointed! Lucy Pearls definitely has quality baked goods that will leave you addicted. Stop by and give 'em a try!!
google avatar

Coya A.

Yelp
Ok..I must admit I was a bit concerned about the taste of the dessert I ordered from a food court, regardless of how trendy the place is. Nonetheless I was feeling adventurous and decided to give Lucy Pearl's a try. I was not disappointed! I ordered the banana pudding cake. They provide you with a decent portion for $10 bucks. Think about going to a sit down restaurant and move past the price tag. The cake was perfectly moist and it wasn't overly sweet, so I felt a bit healthier eating it. Service was super quick so the cakes are premade but still super fresh. It is definitely good for an occasional "healthy" treat. They also have vegan delights so everyone can find something!

Yelp
Yummy and plenty of variety. It is one of the best strawberry cakes I have had plus big slices!

Yelp
I went to Lucy Pearl's and didn't get a single cake. *hits own face* I did however get several pies. Key lime Pie: One of the best key lime pies to ever grace my face. Unbelievably creamy, tangy, tart, sweet, and light. I would have no problem eating a whole key lime pie from Lucy Pearl's by myself. Banana Cream Pie: The banana cream pie was okay but erred more on the side of cream rather than banana. It was beautifully light, but I wish there had been more banana. Pecan Pie: I haven't had a decent pecan pie in years... but this pie is not just decent. It's NUTS! *heehaw* You know when you're walking in the mall, and the creepy roasted nut vendor lures you in with the smell of his sweet toasty nuts?... That smell is what this pie tastes like. It's chock-full of whole pecans, and barely any of the gelatinous goop most pecan pies have. I've already added Lucy Pearl's pecan pie to my holiday menu, and we haven't even made it to summer yet! I love that these classic desserts were not bogged down in sugar, and none were too heavy. My brother said the cakes were just as good. I also loved that their staff was so sweet and patient with me. They took the time to talk to me about my whole order. POST has plenty of dessert to choose from, but none are worth the calories like Lucy Pearl's! NOTE - there's apparently a thing called The Yummy Box, like a contactless pick-up locker for cake. If you're ashamed of eating an entire cake by yourself, you can totally just pick up from the Yummy Box to avoid all judgment. https://lucypearls.com/online-orders/

Yelp
Their cake is moist and not too sweet. Would recommend. The service is bad though especially the one inside The Post. The guy there literally dont want to work and was rude to customers trying to buy.

Yelp
I spotted this sweets shop on my first trip to Houston while sitting at a bar called Return to Sender. I was greeted by a kind lady who I believe was the owner and she willingly assisted me in my indecisiveness lol. She gave suggestions based on what I liked and informed me of her most popular items. Even though they all sounds and looked amazing I decided to get a pineapple coconut cake she suggested that she mentioned was her aunt's recipe. IT WAS SO SO GOOD!! If I lived in Texas I'd be fat because I'd stop in all the time! The flavor was delicious and the ingredients were fresh! The cake slice was also a good size for the price. I ate it too fast to get a photo but you can't tast a photo anyway! I also must note this is a minority woman owned bakery using family recipes which I love so much as a Black woman!! Now stop reading this and go grab you something sweet, sweetie!
google avatar

Requel P.

Yelp
Located in the new POST HTX building but with the mom & pop vibes! We were exciting our Yelp Elite event and overheard that this was a Black Owned business. We definitely stopped to check them out! They were actually closing but were so kind to talk to us about their business and we all bought a cupcake. All of their cupcakes looks like they were made with love. They all have buttercream icing which is my absolute favorite! I hope more people check them out!

Yelp
I been in Houston for just over a year and I finally found my bakery. Lucy Pearl's is sweet person heaven. My mom came across the establishment on Facebook and I decided to give it a try because you want know, until you try it, right! I ordered a strawberry cake for my daughter's 7th birthday. The cake was price at $65 which is very reasonable compared to other bakeries in the area. Which are overpriced, nicely decorated and dry. I don't know about y'all, I want my cake to taste as good as it look. The strawberry cake decent size size and I was surprised when I cut into seeing that it was three layers. The cake was made with real strawberries on top and in the filling. I believe the frosting was made with sour cream because it was not overally sweet. My family was very satisfied with Lucy Pearl's and I won't go to another bakery as long as I'm in Houston. In the past we been wasting cakes but that strawberry cake didn't stand a chance!! Lucy Peal's is in located at Post Market which is inside a building with other food establishments. If you're at Post Market and craving sweets, Lucky Pearl's will definitely fulfill your sweet cravings. They have daily cakes slices, cookies, pecan candy, cupcakes and a lot more. I also purchased the tres le cake and a bag of pecan candy. The slice of tres le was priced at 9.50 and the bag of pecan which included three medium candies was 6.50. Pretty expensive but it was very delicious! The tres le cake was very moist and it was the best tre le cake I had had!
google avatar

Michelle O.

Yelp
I got a slice of the Brooklyn Blackout cake, which is a layered chocolate cake with fudge. The cake was super moist even at 8:30 at night and several days after. The service kindly explained the difference between similar looking cakes. It's a little pricey at $9.50 a slice before tax, but there is a large variety of flavors, it was tasty and it lasted more than a meal.
google avatar

Lourdes P.

Yelp
Their cakes are bombbbbbbb!!!!! Banana pudding is their most popular cake and it was so yummy. Moist and perfect. The other cake I tried was called the Atomic and it had three different cake flavors. One layer was chocolate, the middle was yellow cake and I feel like the last one was apple pie or something. Each layer was divine! Highly recommend if you are a cake person because let's face it, if you're reading this review then most likely you are!
google avatar

Kay L.

Yelp
I saw that Lucy pearls had a keto cupcake and was excited to give them a try. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. The cupcake arrived via Uber eats. It was in a clear plastic container and looked normal. However, the cupcake was hard as a rock, ice cold (as if it came out of the freezer), tasteless, a dull brown color, and seemed...OLD. If you're going to provide keto options, produce a quality product. What I received was appalling. Thankfully Uber eats gave me a refund. I will never order from lucy pearls again.

Cynthia V.

Yelp
Delicious desserts paired with genuinely friendly customer service! It was hard to pick what I was going to try for my first time here and everything looked so good, but I ended up getting a slice of Key Lime Pie, a slice of Caramel Apple Pie, and two cake pops. Everything was delicious and clearly made with love - great fruit flavors in the pie and the moistest cake pops I have ever had! It was a joy to get to hear about the history of Lucy Pearl's from the owners who are the personification of service with a smile. This will definitely be a spot I stop by every time I come to Post to pick up a sweet treat!

Yelp
I love cake. Bodacious Brownie Cake from Chocolate Bar, the chocolate cake from Paper Route in Austin are amazing. To add to that super short list is the carrot cake from here. I don't even really care for carrot cake. My girlfriend loves carrot cake and she said it's the best she's ever had. It's not overly sweet, great in texture, and very flavorful. Don't get me wrong, the banana and OMG Oreo cake are great but the carrot cake has me biased. Owner and workers are also super nice. Will always get the carrot cake everytime I come to Post. 3 most memorable parts of Post: the nighttime skyline, the nice bars in the middle, and this cake shop. The pictures are of a partly eaten banana cake after I realized I should probably take a picture.

Yelp
We have already been 3x in the last couple of weeks. Absolutely the best desserts in the Houston area. The staff is so pleasant; it's like picking up a sweet goodie from a close friend. So far we've had german chocolate cake, strawberry cake, cherry pie, tres leches, keylime pie, carrot cake and vanilla cake. ALL DELICIOUS!
google avatar

Goldie O.

Yelp
The customer service from the owners was everything! They are so polite and engaging with their customers. I ordered a 3 pack of the pecan pralines which are my absolute fave so I knew that wouldn't disappoint and it didn't. I also ordered a caramel cupcake which was okay. It was very soft and moist and the icing was delicious but I think I'll try the actual cakes next time.
google avatar

Liz N.

Yelp
Omg these cakes are delicious!!! They have so many choices to choose from that it's hard to pick just one! Because I couldn't make up my mind, I got a slice of the atomic-it's 3 layers of cake but each layer is a different flavor with a different filling. The cake flavors were banana pudding with banana filling, vanilla cake with strawberries and chocolate cake with a buttercream frosting. The cake was so moist and delicious. I honestly can't wait to go back to try the other choices!

Yelp
Another decent food place in post Houston. They serve a large variety of baked goods. Cool thing that they serve is gluten free cupcakes and macaroons. Also have keto cupcakes if you're into that.

Yelp
My husband and I were really excited about this place. The display was a bit confusing, they have all the slices on top of the refrigerated cases, and other things inside, so it took us a minute to see that they did have all the flavors you see online for sale. I did not get to interact with whoever was working, my husband went and he opted for the red velvet cake. I waited to write this review, because I wanted to like this place a lot. The red velvet cake was almost completely flavorless. Really dissapointing. My husband, who can devour desserts, only took a few bites when we got home, and then "saved the rest", which is very unlike him. We both agreed that this was the kind of cake that if I had made, I would have thrown away the recipe. I thought to myself, I should probably go back and try something else before giving a one star review, but at around $12 a slice with tax and tip, I'm just not willing to waste that much money on a not very good piece of cake. I hope if you are reading this you go and try something, but not the red velvet cake. Let me know if I really just missed the boat in what was picked.

Yelp
Cookies, cakes and warm and friendly service. We tried the banana pudding cake, red velvet cookie, double chocolate cookie and the m&m cookies. By far our favorite was the m&m cookies. Simple but perfectly executed. The cupcakes look lovely, as do the cake pops. We will have to try them next time.

Yelp
Lucy Pearl was able to make a cake for us in such a short notice. On top of that, the cake was very good and our entire office loved it. Usually, we would get cakes from HEB or Randall's, but oh boy, now knowing there's Lucy Pearl's in the area, we will get them here next time for our office events.

Yelp
I just added a review regarding the Wonderful Carrot Cake I had sent to my Neurosurgeon down in the medical center. I forgot to leave my name. It is Sandra Willis. And the reason I picked Lucy Pearls is because her bakery is among the top 10 in Houston. Number two to be exact but in my opinion it's #1!

Yelp
GET THE ATOMIC!!! It's like having 3 of the best cakes around town ALL in one cake! All in one slice! We sampled 3 flavors: carrot, atomic, chocolate. I kept going back to the Atomic: it's like Neopolitan but even better Bc the vanilla layer is replaced by yummy moist banana! Each layer had its own filling/icing next to it. ALL were so moist, delectable, and not overly sweet. I would start with a forkful of banana, then move to the vanilla and strawberry as my 2nd bite, then chocolate and it's surrounding icing......then start all over again. I'm ordering a whole cake now as we speak for a friend's bday tonight.

Yelp
Yum! Beautiful cakes that are moist and obviously made with love. On my first visit to Houston Post for lunch I couldn't resist getting a piece of cake for "later". Needless to say I couldn't wait and ate most of it as soon as I got home. The slices are generous, easy to share but you won't want to!

Yelp
My son decided to elope and invited us. Coming from CA to TX I had no idea where to buy a cake. I stumbled upon Lucy Pearls....and I'm so thankful I did!! Ordering online was a breeze and when I got nervous and left them a message to confirm my order, they quickly called me back and reassured me. I was so thankful and super happy with the staff. She was kind and caring and even had the cake delivered to our hotel (an angel). The red velvet cake was superb. It was literally the very best I've ever eaten. The decorations were perfect....totally perfect for this small Gen Z wedding. Lucy Pearls is a new favorite. We will go every time we come to visit our son & his new wife in Houston. Give them a shot. They will not disappoint you....and you might just find you found your new favorite place too!! Thank you, Lucy Pearls!! You guys are THE BEST!!

Yelp
Grabbed a slice of cake to go on a whim on my way out and was surprised to find that this cake was actually the star of my meal that night. I got a slice of the Blackout cake and it was incredible. The folks working behind the counter were so sweet and patient. If there's a line for their cake, it's definitely worth waiting in!! All the cakes looked delicious and the slices are very hearty portions. I've got my eye on the slice of Tres Leches and will have to try the cupcakes as well!

Yelp
Lucy Pearl's banana pudding cake is a game changer!! The cakes are so rich and moist, unlike any other. WOW is all I can say! The owners are such wonderful people. Very welcoming and friendly. The service is quick and efficient. They even pass out samples of the cake for you to try. I also think they are in a great location at POST Houston giving you the opportunity to get a good meal from one of the other restaurants before enjoying one of their delicious desserts. Definitely check them out when you get a chance. You won't regret it!

Yelp
Stole tips from my card that I did not authorize then was rude and disrespectful to me after I called them out. Please check your transactions with this company because they will add $1 to $2 to your transaction even if you selected no tip on their iPad. Hate to see a black business conduct themselves like this but please spend your money else where where they don't steal from you

Yelp
OMG...the tres leches is my go to. The cake is drenched with the milk just like I like it. So deliciously sweet and decadent. The staff is always nice.
