"Lucy’s feels like a small-town cafe that was teleported to Roscoe Village. It’s the type of place where decorative punny signs make you wonder if it’s a Home Goods-sponsored restaurant while you sit in a comfy booth and the staff has a quick stop-and-chat with regulars. And it’s clear why people keep coming back—the food at this vegetarian spot is great. Google
The food is great, service was great. My only complaint was the cost. For 3 of us, we had 1 pecan waffle, an order of bacon, 2 chocolate chip pancakes, a coffee and 2 chocolate milks came to $38.

Google
Great place, Great people, good food and good prices. Always been more than expected service . A real good go to place for a quick bite and basics of what is needed in a Dinner Type of place. Dine in or take out . Just watch the hours. Highly recommend. It is my adult kids and grandkids fav place when visiting. Keep up the great work. You guys are awesome !!!!

Google
Disappointed! As you scroll through reviews and wonder how this place got near 5 stars. Remember they’re offering a chance at $500 for it. Smug atmosphere, very basic deli menu. We have tried to eat here many times only to find out they’re open 10hrs a week! 12-2pm M-F. We were greeted by a very rude staff member after waiting nearly 10 minutes to be asked if we needed anything. Go somewhere else to eat. I give credit when due but will not stand for fake reviews. The response they gave to this review is also incorrect.

Google
Went recently for the first time. The breakfast was great! I had a veggie omelet. Very big portion and good. My husband ordered eggs with biscuits and gravy, for something different. We both commented on how good the gravy was. I will be going back.

Google
Went for breakfast. Always great! Good portions and the menu has something for everyone. Service is always friendly and welcoming. Prices are so reasonable. I had the blueberry pancakes. They were covered with homemade blueberry sauce and fresh blueberries with whipped cream. Then add bacon. Yummmmm!!!!!

Google
The food is great. The service is fast, the waitress is very friendly. I am very pleased that the interior reflects the history of the village of North Prairie. All in all, a special place.

Yelp
Homemade cooking. Everything is good. There is a large menu. Lucy is so friendly and kind. Charming location in an old train depot.

Yelp
No thrills; just classic, simple breakfast. Great, family owned, and operated business with good service. A place where they remember your face.

Yelp
This has to be the best small eatery in southeastern Wisconsin. Lucy and her family are absolute treasures and they not only have unbelievably good food, they also have the best and most wonderful service! You can order anything off the menu and be blown away with not only the quality but the craftsmanship of your meal. All the food is fresh and screaming hot when it comes out! What an absolute treat. The price is absolutely right and I couldn't recommend them more!!

Yelp
Although I have never actually eaten inside, my family and I do order the fish fry often. It has to be the best fish fry i've ever had and it has a great price as well. I would easily recommend them if you are looking for a good fish fry. I have been inside the restaurant a few times when picking up orders and it has a really unique interior, the building's original purpose being a train station. Whenever we have picked up our food service has been good.

Yelp
Lucy's Cafe is a quaint family run restaurant that I truly enjoyed. I was visiting a lady friend in Mukwonago and her parents took us out for brunch. This place is tiny! And on a Sunday they were definitely steadily busy. We thought the wait was going to be long, but luckily for us it wasn't. The service was awesomely friendly and not intrusive in the least. There are not a lot of options for gluten free people, but I ordered Lucy's famous potatoes and this was pretty good. A little more oily than I'd have liked, but good nonetheless. I also had a side salad that was simple and good. Everyone else ordered various breakfast And lunch options. The family I went with loves Lucy's and loves their food. I'm definitely here for supporting local and family restaurants. I'm sure I'll be back at some point.

Yelp
Clean and cozy. Good food. Good, friendly service. I had a Grandpa's skillet and possibly the biggest cup of coffee I've ever had. I'll definitely eat here again.

Yelp
We stopped at Lucy's Cafe for lunch on our way to ride horses in Eagle. The location is small but portions surely weren't. We had 4 kids meals (french toast, scrambled eggs, over medium eggs, bacon, hot dog and chicken strips). I had the patty melt medium rare and it was fantastic. My husband enjoyed an omelette that was the length of the plate. So big he couldn't finish it all. We also enjoyed the fries and cheese curds. If we are in the area again in the future we would stop again.

Yelp
I eat breakfast there quite a bit. They are very friendly on top things. The portions are large and the food is good. It's a small mom And pop place that I enjoy a lot.

Yelp
Very good place for breakfast. Enjoyed the super tender country fried steak (I don't know why I can't make cubed steak that tender at home!). Eggs were perfectly cooked and the biscuits we subbed out for toast were very good as well. No frills, good food, just what a local diner should be!

Yelp
I've been coming to Lucy's (they used to be at a different location) since I was a small child, and it's a family favorite for breakfast and lunch. The location it is currently at has had a few tenants over the years, but I'd say Lucy has a following. Once you know about her, you'll keep coming back. The service can sometimes be on the slow side, but it's a small operation and they are always kind. The food is typical diner food, and you can't go wrong with any of the classics! Heads up: Some entrees come with a choice of fries or chips. I LOVE their fries, but they're actually cut more like chips and the perfect texture between a fry and a chip!

Yelp
This location has been just about every kind of restaurant you can imagine. Lucy's cafe is its current resident that features a variety of breakfast and lunch meals. Walk in and there is a hostess stand someone will seat you. They also have bar top seating in the first room you walk in to your right. I shall begin with the positives first. The lady who was our server / owner was a real gem. Atmosphere was clean and had a modern feel to it while still keeping the integrity of the history that is the train depot. Service was unbelievably slow . Besides my boyfriend and myself , there were only two other people dining inside. The whole experience from beginning to end was over an hour and a half long. Food was okay. No flavor ... needed some seasoning , any kind of seasoning .Our hashbrowns weren't fully cooked and therefore had some cold spots in them. Meat quality in the breakfast meals were okay. We had an omelette, Denver breakfast sandwich and biscuits and gravy . Best thing out of the entire meal for me was the biscuit in the in biscuits and gravy. Portions for all the meals were great especially for the price. We had all this and two coffees for under $30. Random note: I saw some crinkle fries and they looked amazing ...you don't see crinkle fries used to often when you really think about it. I will for sure be back for lunch. My little pet peeves about this place would be the menu layout. It was confusing and not very informative. For instance,on the breakfast page of the menu it says certain things come with your choice of potatoes but no where on the menu does it inform you of what potato choices there are for you to choose from. Same with the breakfast sandwich, it never informs you of what kind of bread it comes on and if you even have the option of choosing your bread at all. If they make the menu more clear of what stuff comes with and what overall options you have to choose from it would be way more informative for the customer.

Yelp
Lucy's Cafe in North Prairie WI in the old train station is an excellent place to eat. The owners (Lucy-server and Andy-chef) are the kindest people. When Covid hit they renovated the seating area to be safe for the customers. It is now more cozy than ever. I have never had a bad meal there from breakfast to fish fry Friday. Go out and give them a try@!

Yelp
So when we walked in the server behind the counter looks up and not so subtly says "Oh my goodness." It was 12:30 on a Monday and they didn't appear to busy. After the server finished putting together a large Togo order, all the while still no acknowledging us, she goes in the back comes back out and asks "party of three?" We are clearly a party of seven so I say "seven" she then sighs and tells us it's going to be 10-15 minutes at least. We can see an open eight top. She glares at us and we leave. I'm thinking they should change the name to "Locals Only" or maybe "we don't want your business" little did she know all of us either currently work in hospitality or have in the past and she her best tip of the month just walked out the door with her blessing. PS you know you've had a bad experience when you eat somewhere else and before the food even arrives the 8 year old in the party says' "you know, Blue Bay is the exact opposite of Lucy's. They're clean and bright and pleasant and super welcoming."

Yelp
This is my favorite place for breakfast! The food is outstanding ( I was a breakfast Cook in my youth so I am very judgmental). The selection is broad and high quality. The place is clean and comfortable. The staff is attentive and friendly. It feels like a authentic small town diner. It is!

Yelp
We wanted to get a table for eight on a Sunday morning at 0800 and were told that a group of locals have the table for coffee daily. This blows my mind that you reserve the table seven days a week for the same group. I guess you don't need our money!

Yelp
Food is good, service is attentive and polite. Portions sizes are good. I love the old train Depot decor of the building, feels a bit rustic. We haven't tried anything off the lunch menu yet.

Yelp
Great food in a historic train depot...you might even feel a train going by if you are lucky! Wonderful hosts and yummy foods with large selection to please everyone!

Yelp
Friendly hosts and delicious food. Worth stopping in. Breakfasts are hearty and the lunch menu has a lot to offer. Nice atmosphere in an old train depot
