Very nice establishment with excellent service. The food had a lot of flavor and you got more than enough food for what you pay. The chicken lo mein was a little disappointing compared to other places but everything else was phenomenal.

Google
My favorite Chinese restaurant in ND so far. All the points I appreciate: (1) The place is huge, (2) the floors are clean, (3) the tables are clean and the glass top was squeaky clean because I usually clean my table areas with napkins and hot water when I eat just in case, (4) no carpet (food places with carpet foot traffic in all kinds of weather tend to smell like musty moldy places), (5) no odors, (6) seats and chairs are comfortable in the booths and non booths, (7) staff were mopping the floors and the water had no dirty chlorine smell (of course far away from anyone eating), (8) the silverware was spotless, (9) they gave me hot water in a nice porcelain pot (not like some other places that use plastic) so i didn’t have to keep asking for more water and felt safe that plastics weren’t getting into my water, (10) the staff were kind and attentive, (11) my food came out in about 7 minutes tops and came out piping hot, (12) filled my rice bowl to the top, (13) it was nice and quiet and peaceful with no music 🎶 or sounds except the water fountain (I don’t like loud music or any music as it’s nice to eat in peace sometimes or talk to your friends and family and be able to hear each other without screaming), (14) the food was not oily or filled with starch and additives, (15) the mushrooms were fresh and not the dried ones, (16) the bathroom was clean, (17) and most of all this place is vegetarian friendly and I was able to have the kind of vegetables with garlic sauce I love everywhere I go. The flavors were natural and not overdone.

Google
We used to love this place. New ownership, as I understand, and it's definitely not the same. We were disappointed in our food. Part of our order was missing (delivery via DoorDash) and they acknowledged they forgot to send it and wanted us to just come and pick it up. The shrimp fried rice was mushy. The sweet and sour chicken was undercooked and tasted like flour. We tried giving it extra cooking time in our air fryer and it still was not edible. The broccoli and chicken had very mushy broccoli and the chicken had an "off" flavor. We won't be back.

Google
Slowly getting worse. We used to be huge fans but the last few times have gotten worse and worse. They changed their fried rice. This last time we threw most of the food out. The "beef" was grizzled and smelled as if it was fried with the shrimp (we didnt order any shrimp) and the "sweet and sour chicken" was mainly deep fried batter.

Google
Order taker did not speak English and could barely take order. Everyone’s food arrives but mine and as everyone is down still no food. Kid running around in kitchen and dining room screaming. Worst Chinese place in Fargo service wise.

Steph

Google
2/5 pork wonton is Crispy with great flavor but couldn’t taste the pork. The pork lo main is good, great flavor and large helping and soupy. Pork is plenty 4/5. The fried rice is very mild almost lacking in flavor 1/5 Little veggies. The egg roll was good. It tastes better then Panda Express and was fresh 3/5. Great costumer service and price!

Google
We ordered big and the food was delicious. The restaurant wasn't crowded at all. We ordered three dishes shared then and had leftovers. We also had a plate of kimchi. We ate up all the kimchi though first and no leftover kimchi. The restaurant inside decor nice for being inside a strip mall. However light bulb above us kept flashing on and off needed replacement. The food came out really hot temperature. Really we ordered one spicy dish --- garlic broccoli. We also drank hot tea. The pouring pot for tea was nice with bamboo handle. There was a lot of vegetables and cut large in each dish and much seafood in the Singapore noodle dish. I definitely can taste why this place is a local favorite and will hopefully go back there soon.

Google
Everything that is ordered tastes very delicious and authentic, the portion is also quite good for up to 2 people, just suggest dine in for the menu I ordered, because when we dine in everything is very tasty and when we bring it for to go, the texture is a bit hard because it's already cold (heated but not change the texture)

Yelp
Lucy's, LUCY'S, Lucy's!!! My literal ONLY Chinese cuisine I truly love, enjoy, and choose! Lucy herself is a treasure!! Any of their noodles/lo mein/etc. are UNBEATABLE!!! We just ordered and ate there last night via "Door Dash" Delivery-- great option! I have LITERALLY NEVER had a dish from there I HAVEN'T found mouth-watering! Some items maybe "spicy" to the mild-pallatte, but the kind that is still SO GOOD YOU CAN'T HELP BUT GET THAT SPICE IN YOUR MOUTH!! :D As mentioned, Lucy herself to get the joy of interacting with is like meeting a celeb! haha Their "new" -prob not so new anymore ha- location is very classy, intimate, and even to get a to-go order, easily accessible and ALWAYS fabulous service!!!

Yelp
The food was fine but waited over an hour dining in while a lot of take out was being picked up. Probably why there weren't many eating in the restaurant.

Yelp
Lucy's is a good choice if you would like Chinese cuisine. The food is tasty and the pricing is reasonable. It is not fancy inside, however it's clean and comfortable & the service is fine.

Yelp
Put chicken in the veggie ma po tofu... and added extra veggies and there were only 3 bok choy added

Yelp
Our favorite place for Chinese takeout! Service is quick and vegetable lo mein is my favorite!

Yelp
I was a bit of a skeptic but the food was delish! Their hot & sour soup (not shown in photo) had a good kick! The orange chicken was delish! Service was really good! The places was clean, I liked the water fountain in the middle of the restaurant!

Cheri P.

Yelp
The food appeared almost as fast as we ordered it. It was not hot nor fresh. I was not impressed at all with the taste of their food and would not eat here again.

Yelp
Awesome food, great service. It is our go-to Chinese food place in Fargo. Highly recommend.

Heather S.

Yelp
Best Chinese takeout in Fargo! I've never had a bad meal from Lucy's. Highly recommend.

Evan F.

Yelp
Food is fantastic as always and have been eating here for years. It hurts to see people leaving bad reviews. While my food has never been 'late', it's always a banger and I can count on Lucy's to serve a great dinner or lunch if ordered ahead of time. Honestly, it sucks when you ordered anything and it takes them forever to finish it. That's reality sometimes. Food industry sucks, especially post-pandemic. You never know the reason it's not done in time. Perhaps you ordered when someone was too sick to clock-in. There are bigger issues to complain about. 10/10 favorite Chinese food in F/M area and there's no other qualifying contenders.

Yelp
One of my favorable restaurant in Fargo! The waitress was super friendly. We got eggplant with garlic sauce, greenbeans, and cumin beef. Very tasty!

Jill N.

Yelp
Food was quite tasteless Not sure what else To say as we got it on take out. Soy sauce was tasteless Sweet and sour sauce was tasteless. Will not get their food again. Cream cheese wontons were good. That's it.
google avatar

Hannah L.

Yelp
Honestly, really delicious greasy hangover food. It's basically American food, so if you're looking for something more authentic- maybe not your choice. Crispy and hot when I had it delivered. Cheap prices!! The portions are huge; my small wonton soup comes with six wontons- so great compared to other places!! I asked for hot mustard and used it on my egg rolls and some in my fried rice. The sweet and sour sauce is sweet and yummy! The staff was kind.

Ava S.

Yelp
My family has gone to Lucy's many times over the years and it's genuinely never failed us, the food comes quick whether you get it delivered or in person. Their restaurant is clean and quiet, and the food comes in generous portions for the price. Couldn't recommend it enough!

Megan J.

Yelp
While the food has always been good, the wait time has increased by a ridiculous amount. I called at 4:40 pm and placed an order to be picked up at 5:45 pm. I got there at 5:50 and paid, but my food was not ready. The lady behind the counter was on the phone the entire time. At 6:00, my food comes out. I see on the receipt that it was sent to the kitchen to be prepared at 5:40. How are you supposed to make food in five minutes? Again, the food is good but plan for extra wait time. Even if there appears to be nobody else in the restaurant

Roosevelt N.

Yelp
ordered shrimp fried rice and told to add 3$ extra shrimp got back to truck stop, all the shrimp were on top of the rice boilEd and no vegetables and the worst rice I ever had.damn!!!!!!!

Krystal M.

Yelp
Lucy's is my favorite! I love the cream cheese wontons! All of the food is delicious

Bailey H.

Yelp
Awful Chinese food. Gross. Awful awful awful. No other way to put it. If I could give zero stars I would. Just bad. Sesame chicken tasted like it sat out for a day and was microwaved.
google avatar

McCathorn C.

Yelp
I ordered sesame chicken tonight using DoorDash. I'm in town for business and had no desire to go out and eat. I was craving Chinese food so I ordered from Lucy's N China Cuisine. The delivery time was perfect which was the best part of the meal process. This was the most disappointing presentation and prepared Sesame Chicken I have ever, ever tried to consume. It was like finding a needle in a haystack for any chicken hidden within the breading. I honestly may found two to three small pieces. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THIS HORRIBLE EXAMPLE OF A Chinese restaurant. See photo of my $23.00 dollar meal.
google avatar

Sydney K.

Yelp
I went here about a year ago and ordered sesame chicken and was very unimpressed by the amount of flavor that it lacked. I decided to give it another shot because it had been a little while and I was again very disappointed by the flavor of the chicken lo mein. I'm not sure if I'm not ordering the right things, but those are fairly basic staples of Chinese restaurants and they were both so bland I couldn't even put a dent in it. Would literally go to Panda Express over Lucy's if you're in the mood for Chinese food.
google avatar

Jafe A.

Yelp
This is by far the blandest and no flavor Chinese food I've ever tasted. The food was extremely flavorless. Our fried rice wasn't even fried. Their grandma's noodle was dry and bland. The Kung pao chicken was bland. The teriyaki chicken look like boiled chicken with onions. No teriyaki sauce in sight. See the pattern! It was the worst Chinese food I've ever tasted. The only good thing about my order was the 2L coke I order with my meal. Never making the mistake of going to this place for Chinese food. They really have gone downhill since the move from their original place

John L.

Yelp
I don't think I have ever received worst service in any restaurant then I did tonight. Servers were more interested in sitting an feeding there Owen faces then taking orders from people that have been seated for 15 min. Wow. Not going back
google avatar

Donegal H.

Yelp
[Delivery] Everyone in my family enjoyed their food! I was especially fond of the lamb skewers, scallion pancakes, and Chinese donuts.
google avatar

Matt C.

Yelp
The best Chinese food in town and the best General Tso I've ever had. Staff is polite, food is fast and there is ample seating so we have always been seated immediately (even on Valentine's Day!). The location is in the opposite end of town from where I live but it's always worth the drive.
google avatar

Michael M.

Yelp
Very clean and well laid out. I ordered wonton soup and shrimp fried rice, soup was nice and hot perfect on a cold day. They brought the fried rice before I was done with the soup, bummer. The fried rice was just okay. Service was a really slow, maybe they had to make some fresh Wonton's, ha, ha. It was lunch on Monday and pretty dead in the account.
google avatar

Dave S.

Yelp
Ordered fried rice wasn't fried. Potstickers we're ok seemed like something was off about them. The cream cheese wontons were good. Garlic beef was ok a little bland. The wings were great!

Mr G.

Yelp
Food was marginal but the service was absolutely terrible. When we were there was only three other tables but the staff treated us like we didn't even exist as had to ask for water refills, to go boxes and our check multiple times. Then when we finally got our check the prices we were charged were more expensive than what was on the menu. When we asked to have the prices adjusted they said they could not do it. I am very disappointed in the food and service and will not ever eat there again. If you go make sure to check the prices and be prepared to pay more than what is on the menu. If you don't mind poor food, poor service and being overcharged then this is the place for you.

Gina F.

Yelp
Tried three dishes- sent two back-looked and tasted like dogfood- my daughter just kept going to the drink station and filling her own glass- waited 45min for food, and there were only three occupied tables. Actually brought us our check before our entrees had even arrived/ completely revolting and disgusting place- don't even try it- what a waste of time

Kirsten J.

Yelp
Will never get take out from here again. Order was wrong and we received sweet and sour chicken which I would never order. And the lady read it back to me. The chicken fried rice looked like end of the night white rice doctored up. Nothing fried about it. Pure white. Maybe a couple left over peas snd chicken. I've never had 'fried' rice go so wrong. Isn't this a staple? I had always heard this was a great place to order from and now have tried it twice. The Kung pao and spring rolls were pretty typical:normal. I've never written a bad review on Yelp as I know things happen but at least give it some effort!

Yelp
Lucy's has gone downhill in quality ever since relocating from their 32nd Ave location to 45th St (awful location with terrible access slapped in the middle of a busy strip mall, besides the always dangerous traffic due to local idiots here constantly going 50-60 mph on 45th St, you'll also be dealing with slowly weaving through the mall's super packed parking lot just to get there). In my experience the lo-mein combo dishes and grandma noodles are still good, egg rolls are still good. Everything else is very dull and bland/watered down now. Also, three key problems Lucy's has always had from day one which have held it back from being a truly great Chinese restaurant have been: Fried rice that is bland with almost no seasoning or zest to it, the Kung Pao chicken is surrounded by runny, watery sauce and has ZERO spice or flavor to it (Kung pao chicken that the Tea House in Plymouth, MN serves is super spicy and absolutely delicious if you ever go there, food there overall makes Lucy's look like a joke now) and finally....no proper, house-made hot mustard. Just the terrible mild mustard in packets. I once told Lucy's son it'd be great if they had house made hot mustard like a lot of other Chinese places here and he excused this as "Well, we don't have that kind of spicy mustard where we're from." Ok. Also, they no longer have Siracha sauce bottles at the tables, you have to ask for it and they give it to you squirted into a cup on the side. Just overall cheap feeling now. Before retiring, Lucy was a wonderful, friendly host who would occasionally visit with guests and made you feel welcome. Her kids and staff act like they could care less that you're there now. Lucy's used to be very good and easy 4 star rating but those days are long gone and Fargo is long overdue for a better authentic Chinese cuisine option.

Yelp
I can't say anything about the restaurant itself as I had ordered my food for delivery. The food was delivered hot. The delivery guy was very friendly. Food was delicious. Would definitely order from them again. The wait time wasn't bad either.

Jarryd L.

Yelp
I ordered delivery. The food is so salty and smell that I can't bear finally I decided to trash the meal and never order again
google avatar

Clint L.

Yelp
I haven't been to this location but I was at the restaurant when there was one on 32nd Ave. I always enjoyed that restaurant so I thought I'd give this one a try. We started with an order of dumplings and an order of spring rolls. They were both awesome. We actually got an order to go when we were done with our meals. I got an order of Grandma's Noodles with shrimp, chicken, pork and beef. It is a huge amount of food and very good. My girlfriend had the Braised Beef Noodle Soup. The combinations of flavors in this was impressive. And so much food. We both had to bring some home along with that extra order of dumplings. The service is quick and friendly. The seating area is huge and plenty of room to maneuver with a wheelchair. All of the tables are low.
google avatar

Timothy W.

Yelp
This is probably the better Chinese restaurants in the area at good prices. The food is excellent!

Yiqi L.

Yelp
Most authentic Chinese food in Fargo-Moorhead area! Miss this taste! Quiet environment and affordable price.

Marissa I.

Yelp
Food was fresh and hot!! My only issue is it didn't have any flavor at all. I ordered chicken broccoli and shrimp fried rice. Neither had flavor. The vegetables were definitely fresh however.

Ada C.

Yelp
It's authentic North Chinese food, but ridiculous staff. We ordered using Chinese menu and ordered 芥兰 (Chinese broccoli), which is totally different to broccoli (西兰花). The dish came up as normal broccoli, when we questioned the staff, the guy gave us an unbelievable face and educated us that " in the United States, Chinese broccoli is this kind of broccoli." Having been living in the States for years and travelling all over the States, this is the most ridiculous statement I've ever heard. How pathetic, you can even get proper Chinese broccoli in Fargo?!

Scott M.

Yelp
Friendly staff, great food, FAST service. The Sesame Chicken is very popular, the orange chicken is very good. The food has always come out within five minutes of ordering. Wow the food is always hot. Enjoy your visit here
google avatar

Richard P.

Yelp
Best Chinese food in Fargo Morehead is that Lucy's with the added benefit of being one of the fastest places to get your food

Ryan B.

Yelp
This is, by far, some of the best Chinese food that I've ever had. I was a regular customer when they were at the old location, then I moved away about 4 years ago. I visited recently and went to the new location to find out whether my memory of the food was too generous -- not at all. In the new location, the meal was just as delicious as I remembered, and the service was absurdly fast. Note that if you're looking for standard American/Chinese food, you won't find much of that here. The dishes that you get here are more traditional, authentic chinese food. (The constant stream of international students who practically live at this place should tell you just how legit it is.) The braised eggplant is always gorgeous, and it's served in such a way to where it is still cooking when it hits your table. Lucy's Grandma's noodle recipe is outstanding, and you can't go wrong with a scallion pancake. One of the best restaurants in Fargo, hands down.
google avatar

Nora L.

Yelp
Great comfort food. I had what was basically Chinese spaghetti, asked for a side of chili sauce because the Midwest bland doesn't do Asian cuisine justice. Super tasty, pretty interior design. I'm sure if it was busier the staff would have looked way less bored.

Steve M.

Yelp
We generally have good luck at Lucy's but it's time to try somewhere else. The sautéed shrimp and scallions had tough shells and legs left on breaded shrimp. Awful texture and couldn't be eaten. The orange chicken came soaked and soggy with sweet and sour sauce? Not typical of what we have gotten. With no consistency in the kitchen, we don't plan to gamble with our dinner again. Sorry Lucy.
google avatar

Tamara T.

Yelp
My husband and I ordered delivery. The employee that my husband was talking on the phone with was rude. Plus they delivered the wrong meals to us. Then my husband called back and the delivery driver gave us the correct order. The Kung pow beef was slimy, cold, and tasted terrible. My husband's orange chicken was bland. Plus both of us got sick the next day after eating their food.
google avatar

Tim S.

Yelp
Awesome Chinese food... It's a northern China cuisine where they use more hot flavored oils than the typical thick tasteless sauces at run of the mill take out Americanized Chinese food. Still have all the Americanized favorites and according to my family they are really good. I go more for the authentic dishes to sample the northern Chinese cuisine and they are outstanding!! Pretty quick kitchen and always steady take out but also have traditional seating. By far best Chinese food in Fargo...as good as what you can get in Minneapolis.
google avatar

Deena R.

Yelp
The grandma noodles are worth going for on their own and the spicy food is actually spicy. Mostly great food. The fried rice is never very good though; too oily.

KC M.

Yelp
Just ordered delivery from California to a mourning family in west Fargo. The lady on the phone was so helpful. I asked for her advice on what to send and how many orders needed to feed that many people. She made a difficult task easy. Thank you so much!!!
google avatar

Kathleen K.

Yelp
Curry chicken isn't like you get in other places. Manager was "sorry" but I'm out $11 and have no dinner. Fried rice, $3 extra, also doesn't look like what you generally see, is just white rice with eggs and veggies added. Very bad delivery experience and customer service experience. Food we ate was mediocre at best.
