Had a decent time. Def wasn’t a good first date spot for a Saturday night because it was so loud and packed but the food was good and they had the fights on. The waitress with green eagles sweatshirt was funny and nice and for how busy they were she was pretty quick. The bartenders were nice. I’ll be back

My biggest pet peeve are bars over charging during big sporting events. I met a friend at Lucys for game 1 of the NLDS. I ordered two surfsides and I was told $26, which is high. After I paid it I saw a sign advertising $11 surfsides on their digital displays so I said something to the bar tender and she gave me an attitude back that it included tax. I told her that still didn’t add up and thats when she slammed a receipt down in front of me. Well Mary, $11 x 2 is $22 not $24, so yes, you’re charging more than you are advertising. It wasn’t worth arguing again for $2 but its bad business practice

Came here on September 4th to see an Eagles game with some friends. When leaving the bar I had realized my glasses were still inside, so a friend and I tried to return to retrieve them immediately after leaving. When attempting to re-enter we were denied entry even after explaining the situation. He had let other people back in right in front of me, and still denied me being able to go in. Security claimed we were “removed” when my friend and I left on our own will because I had work the next morning. He then refused to retrieve someone that could help me locate my glasses, to the point that a fellow customer over heard our conversation and went inside on my behalf to look for them. They were prescription glasses that I need in order to see and I’m very upset that I was not able to at least get them back.

my partner and i went here on halloweekend—a saturday night—the bar was packed shoulder to shoulder, yet the bartenders immediately served us upon eye contact! spectacular service. shoutout to the bouncer last night (11/1), he needs a raise! it was awesome the way he efficiently got people in and cut the bs from drunk minors trying to get in. excellent service from everyone around! bravo, thank you lucy’s!

Lucy's is a sports bar with a dance floor downstairs! the upstairs is really big, and can get crowded during sports games. downstairs there is a dance floor and two bars. it can get extremely crowded on weekends. they have dollar dog night for Phillies home games. and $5 spiked huggies, which are personally my favorite. i've had the fried cheese curds and they were pretty good! hot dogs are alright but i mean... it's a hot dog i'm just happy they're a dollar. other food is kind of pricey. service is always great, staff is super sweet and attentive. just generally not my type of bar but it's fun to dance there!

I visited Lucy’s on a Tuesday night and unfortunately had a disappointing experience with the bartender, Edward. I went to the bar and asked his name, he was dismissive and rude, he made comments implying I’d be a problem customer even though I’d only ordered a drink and said “thank you.” I asked a simple question about the “Buddy System” which is a clever but vague menu item, he responded with sarcasm and a remark suggesting I should “learn to read English,” it was completely unnecessary and disrespectful. The bar wasn’t overly busy, so it was surprising to be treated this way, especially while watching other customers receive friendlier service. The tone, attitude, and lack of respect really soured the visit. I hope management addresses this, because the rest of the place seemed great—but service like that leaves a bad impression.

Came in early to try and get seating for 2 to watch the eagles and just FYI that this place treats small parties very poorly. Originally sat at a large table and was told it would have to be split which is understandable, but they had a rule that the two of us would have to be squished against the bar in the corner with no space to move. Then was an offered a high top table for 2 in the front as a “solution” but you could literally not see any of the TVs from that area. Walked out because the staff were so rude and other bars around here do not treat small parties so poorly. Never returning

I’m from Texas, so not an expert in Philly eats, but they have the best Cheesesteak I’ve ever tasted, definitely the best that I’ve tried in Philly. The fries were even on point. Ambience was nice as well.

I am now back, a year later- and I have to say. THANK YOU for improving your buffalo sauce! It's true classic buffalo sauce. I enjoyed it in your crispy chicken wrap. I did add cheddar cheese to the wrap and the bleu cheese dressing on the side but regardless wow. It hit the spot. I'll be back for the wrap.

Went here with 5 or so friends to watch a UFC fight - but unfortunately never made it in as the bouncer decided to power trip. One person in our group had just moved from out of state and this had a valid PA interim license, along with the previous state's license. When it was explained to the door guy that this was a valid ID, he was immediately dismissive and said "if you don't like it leave a review or something". If your staff are too lazy to go grab a manager to double check that an ID is valid, or to understand liquor laws - you lose business. Also the only bar in the area charging cover for the UFC fight

Thursday night DJ was on fire! We had a blast all night long. On thursdays, they have $5 cover and $1 drinks and they were great! Service was a little slow but it's because they were packed, so be sure to order multiple drinks at a time!

In my short visit to Lucy's, I had a good experience overall. I ordered a margarita at the bar, sliders, and a shrimp salad for my partner. Everything was good. Typical bar food. There are tv screens for the sports fans and there was even karaoke on a Wednesday. The bartender was attentive and the doormen were nice and friendly. I'd stop in here for a quick drink if I am in the area.

Cool new sports bar in the city - ground level is a nice sit down and eat space with a bar and huge screens everywhere, downstairs is more of a lounge/club/dance floor space with a bar as well. The staff, drinks from the cocktail menu, food and vibe were 10/10. I loveddd the chicken and potato samosas, chicken sandwiches, wings, and the fries are the perfect amount of crispy to moist ratio. I'll definitely be coming back oh here with friends!

I went to Lucy's with a friend for happy hour. It was pretty empty but we enjoyed that since we were able to hang out and have a conversation without it being too loud. The happy hour specials were pretty good and they had a seasonal cider we both enjoyed.

Perfect sports bar vibes and food is great, never been on game day but feel like it'd be fun

First time so popped in after walking by a number of times during my trips into Philly and I am happy I did. Lively happy hour crowd with the Yankees playoff game up on the big screen. One of the staff had a Yankees cap on which surprised me in Philly. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Made me feel welcome. Small bar style menu. I grabbed Wings and a pint. Fresh and tasty. Exactly what you need from a downtown bar.

I never leave a review unless I have felt that the service or experience was not worth it. My partner and I are from out of state (both have worked service) and so we have REAL IDs from out of state but even though we were of age (21+) we were denied entrance. Additionally the bouncer on that Friday night in a green jacket confiscated the ID and did not not return the ID until law enforcement was called to intervene. I am concerned that if you are out of state or international that they may confiscate your documentation. Don't risk it of you are considering traveling soon or need your ID for documentation purposes as they may not give it back. I was really excited to experience ans try the bar but did not get the experience or opportunity to do so.

A reinvention of the old Lucy's in Old City! I've only been here for happy hour but the bartenders have been nice and the prices are pretty standard for center city. You can tell it's new because it's still pretty clean and doesn't smell like stale beer lol. There's a dance floor downstairs that opens at night. Tip: if you sit at a table towards the back, bring a sweater! The fans make it quite chilly and breezy

I stopped by Lucy's early on a Saturday night for drinks and food. It is a sports bar, so I was disappointed they don't have ESPN+ and were unable to put the UFC fight night on a screen. I started off with their apple cider mule. It was a tasty, well mixed cocktail. There wasn't even any live event going on, but the bar was extremely loud. At my table we could barely hear each other speak. For food, we shared the Buffalo wings, crab balls, and fish sliders with french fries. My favorite was the crab balls, perfectly fried and full of crab. The other items were very good too, a step up from standard bar food. The food was good enough to distract me from not being able to watch UFC. Service was consistently excellent, despite the place being standing room only as the night went on and the Sixers game started. Lucy's is sure to be a success, but a sorts bar should have ESPN+. More and more sporting events are moving to streaming.

Food was good, drinks were reasonable. The bartender lacks severely in personality and hospitality. Ask a question, order a drink, the guy is just rude. I had 2 rounds and a snack, closed out right away... not coming back here again. I don't leave bad reviews, I used to work in hospitality, but this guy.... Maybe he is having a bad day don't know, don't care. Done

This shit hole kick us (a party of 2) out by midnight just because they have people waiting at the line. They told us bc "someone report us to be inappropriate ", mind u we never do anything inappropriate according to the "report". They just want us to GTFO to have space for people to come in. Never feel this ashamed and insulted in my life like this. Definitely NEVER come back again. Pretentious and fake AF. Go to Woody. Its more friendly there

Be careful going there, you can get kicked out for nothing...Saw a guy kicked out for no reason. Some other guy spills a pitcher, Lucys staff didn't know who did it and just picked the poor guy who was buying drinks. Dude its a sports bar... drinks spill, If your gonna kick someone out make sure its the right person... WAY TOO UPTIGHT for a sports bar.

Great staff, was there for bingo Thursday night and it was a lot of fun. Will be back soon!

Wow, thought I, what could be better than a bar by people who brought you Lucy's Hat Shop? Well, turns out almost anything. Good points: 1. Lots of TVs 2. Decor includes a Philadelphia Union blanket 3. Ummmm

I would not recommend this place. The wings were more bread than chicken. The staff spent more time socializing with each other, at least 10 of them huddled at the corner of the bar, than paying attention to their customers. Atmosphere was fine, but there are definitely much better sports bars with better food and staff in town.

Great new spot in center city. Quick and attentive service. Food is the hidden gem. Drinks prices are cheap and everyone is drinking but the food is killer. French onion sliders are great and the Nashville chicken sliders are amazing! Make sure you eat!

I just left out of this establishment and I definitely will not be going back. I ordered a virgin cider and they brought it to me and a paper cup which is very confusing because they're a bar so I thought they would have a mug. They charged me three dollars for a small glass of soda water with lemon. And then they brought me cold waffle fries, and when I did not eat them and just sat there for 30 minutes with them on the table, pushed away from me nobody came back to check and see if I needed anything or how the food was, When she finally came back, I told her what the problem was, and she didn't offer any kind of concession, compensation, redo, reheat refund--nothing. I was still charged for the fries,so I just brought them home because I figured I'll just pop them in the air fryer if I have to pay for them. When arrived I wasn't greeted, When the server finally walked over. She didn't even introduce herself, so I don't know this person's name, but most of the servers in there looked a little bit rude and unwelcoming, I should've just followed my intuition and stayed out of there, but I gave a decent tip. It's holiday season. I just know that I won't go there again.

We had our son and future daughter-in-laws engagement party at Lucy's on Chestnut Street in Philly and it was PERFECT! We worked with Lauren who could not have been more accommodating, she was GREAT! I would highly recommend this establishment!!

Had high hopes for this place as a local resident that loves a good sports bar. You can tell this place is amateur hour from the second you walk in. It's a nice set up in a great location that will surely be wasted because this place will fail. Bartenders are young and walk around socializing with themselves and their friends instead of being attentive to the patrons. Feels like I'm at a frat party. I have no idea who is working and who isn't. Waitresses are clearly inexperienced, overwhelmed and downright dreadful. I'm honestly confused sitting here. Takes simple math to realize that getting a pitcher or a bucket of beer is the inverse of a "deal". Just get a draft and call it a day and walk out if you want to see the place. $14 for 6 shitty wings. $17 for 2 decent burger sliders. Take the 5 minutes to walk to Cavs.

Super fun sports bar. They have lots of TV's. They also have a great dance floor with DJ's on the the weekends. The wings are amazing. Good vibes!

Came in here tonight with my parents for dinner. The bartender was very knowledgeable and friendly. She gave us great recommendations for food and drinks. We ordered the wings, octopus, fries, and pork belly. Everything was fantastic - especially the wings and the pork belly. We will definitely be back!!
