Great place for all kinds of bakery and cakes and deliciousness! Highly recommended! We stop here every time I'm in town! I love their spinach croissants! Best Red Velvet cake ever: delish filling of whipped cream mousse and chocolate mousse, the red velvet layers were dense but not too hard, well balanced and moist.

Asked them to make a Five Nights at Freddy's cake for my son's 15th birthday... and boy did they ever!!! Couldn't be more happy with how it turned out! Super friendly staff as well! I hated to cut the cake at his party, cause it was like destroying a work of art....but it was SUPER delicious!!! A+++ ... will recommend to everyone I know!!!

We used Ludger’s to make our wedding cake and it was amazing! From our first consultation they made everything so easy, from picking flavors, colors and design for our cake! The cake was so delicious and we had many guest reach out to tell us how good the cake was. We had simple flavors, vanilla, chocolate and strawberry and all 3 were delicious! They brought to life my dream cake and designed it perfectly! They also had great communication and I highly recommend Ludger’s!

I got the almond croissant and the half sandwich (turkey melt) half salad. The salad was probably the best part. The almond croissant was alright, but very dry and cakey rather than buttery and flakey like how I prefer a croissant to be. The filling was underwhelming, a very dense icing consistency with heavy almond extract flavor. The croissant itself without the filling had no flavor. The turkey melt surprised me, it was nice and warm and flavorful, but had too much bread and not enough meat and veggies. It was overloaded with mayonnaise based sauce, but the toast was pretty good - just tasted like a basic white bread and was easy to chew. I wish I had ordered a couple more things to try, I’d love to give this place another shot, I’m sure that their cakes are delicious and light. The atmosphere was accommodating, with napkins and water and other things that were easy to locate. The restroom had a baby changing station with wipes and air spray, and there was plenty of naturally lit seating. I tried the croissant again after eating my other food (minus the breading) and it tasted worse the second time, considering I was no longer hungry.

I highly recommend Ludger's for your wedding cake! They made my vision come to life perfectly! I love cherries so I got chocolate cake with cherry filling and wanted vintage icing with cherry accents! They definitely delivered!! We got so many compliments on our cake and how delicious it was! Definitely one of my favorite parts of our wedding.

I have had some great food from here and some mediocre food. Tuna melt is usually good. The Italian sandwich with mixed meat is pretty good. I loved the strawberry salad but they took it off the menue. Sometimes the orders a skimpy for the price they charge. I miss old days when the food was really original, hot, and I used to get alot catered from there on 31st. Street. Not as good south. The drive through not very efficient.

Regularly going for a few years now! The food is delicious, the cakes are amazing, and the staff always welcomes me back. The store itself is very lively and welcoming. I always go inside to order instead of the drive thru, because the atmosphere is just that pleasant. The ladies at the front are always friendly and sociable, and are always working hard. Shoutouts to Katie, Madison, Taylor, and Simber especially; all are wonderful! Thank you ladies!

I pre-ordered their 6 inch Reese's Bavarian cake for my husband's birthday. It was ready on the day and time I scheduled and looked perfect. It was delicious, there was peanut butter flavor in the Bavarian filling which complemented the other layers. I appreciated how easy their online ordering and pickup process was. I will definitely come back to try their coffee and breakfast items!

It's so nice to have Ludger's out south as a great place to grab coffee and breakfast with friends. The staff is friendly and the bake goods and made to order food is yummy too. Their quiche is one of my go tos. They had a bacon and caramelized onion one the other day and it was as sooo good. They typically have two to choose from, one veggie and one with meat. They have a peanut butter and chocolate brownie cupcake that is to die for delicious. If you like chocolate and peanut butter GET IT!

I recently ordered a custom party cake (funfetti) with traditional buttercream from Ludger's, and it absolutely exceeded my expectations. From the beautiful presentation to the delicious flavor and outstanding customer service, the entire experience was wonderful. After submitting an online quote request, I was contacted quickly with detailed information, and the ordering process was seamless when I called to finalize. The cake was thoughtfully and beautifully crafted with realistic bark texture along with detailed greenery; it was the perfect forest-style centerpiece for my son's Gravity Falls party. When guests saw the cake and learned it was from Ludger's, several of them raved about how amazing their cakes are. This was the first birthday party we've had where nearly the entire cake was eaten! Thank you Ludger's!

So the business owner reached out to me about my previous review and offered to refund me for my lemon bar that I was not able to enjoy. So I went in today to do this and not only were the staff yet again amazing and friendly and helpful, but they offered to let me try something else and the manager told me they're known for their cakes. since I have never tried their cake before I decided to go for that. I tried the strawberry lemon cake and I am not a cake person, usually because they have tons of icing which is just not my thing. However, this cake does not have icing instead it has this lemon strawberry cream in the middle of the cake with some whipped cream and it is the best thing. This is now the only way that I want someone to give me cake is like this. My next birthday, I'm gonna be asking for a cake like this and I officially will be back to this place. I'm just been blown away by the customer service but also I'm thrilled that they corrected their lemon bars and now I found a place where I can actually like cake.

I definitely wanted to update my review. I visited again for another family girls' lunch. Service and food was outstanding! I had the corn chowder and it was so much better! It had just enough heat. I could have eaten a large bowl of it. I also had the turkey-bacon sandwich (half). Really, really good. I'm with holding that final star for when I have room for dessert. I would also like to try their coffee drinks, too. Maybe I need to try them for breakfast!

I went through the drive thru yesterday and had amazing service, a true rarity these days. I tried the turkey pesto sandwich and it was phenomenal. They used great quality shaved turkey! I finished my lunch off with a chai maple. If you like sweet treats, I highly recommend. Unfortunately, no photos to share, but I cant wait to go back.

The pastries and coffee are top of the line and on par with each other in regard to quality. It is rare for a pastry shop to do both well. Ludger's does it. Wow, German technology is amazing: "The egg in a basket." This was a delicious sandwich to the last bite. Designed for exceptional taste and assembled with diligence. Buttery toast, bacon, cheese and a flawless soft runny egg yolk, precisely centered in a dye cut hole. It is difficult to decide which part of this sandwich was the stand out, but that buttery toast was a remarkable feature. And a bonus; as a souvenir, they give you the medallion that was cut from the toast. Rich and decadent, was the Tiramisu Cupcake. My wife's choice, described as the best that she has ever had. She raved about it and the Iced White Mocha, all morning. My Café Mocha was equally superb. Nice bright restaurant, Order at the counter. Food and drinks that are made to order will be delivered to your table. Very impressive coffee and pastries. Now one of my top picks in Tulsa.

food - i went to the bakery near the end of business day yesterday to order to-go food, with german chocolate cake and some kind of streudel being the sweets of choice on my mind, with my main reason being that i'd read that the bakery has a strong german-american influence. nonetheless, at the time of ordering, the store had run out of german chocolate cake, so i decided to go with a chocolate bavarian cream cupcake instead, paired with an apple streudel available from the display case. while i'm less familiar with bavarian culinary traditions than german-american, the cupcake was quite tasty, and the favorite of my mom out of the two desserts, which we both tried. i'd say the apple streudel was my preference, with the pastry reminding me of a slightly more compact apple cobbler. that said, i did like the cupcake had tiny edible ball decor and bavarian cream filling in addition to frosted topping. service - the counter worker who served me, cel, was attentive and knowledgeable in helping me navigate the menu options, including the availability of german chocolate cake, the cake flavor of the month, and different available varieties of streudel. ambiance - although i ordered to-go, the restaurant seating atmosphere looked cozy, reminiscent in a sense of my favorite coffee shops, which is fitting because the bakery also serves several kinds of coffee and similar beverages. further, i like that the restaurant features a gift section, with birthday candles being my favorite of the items offered in that section because of the appropriateness to such a product at a store that sells cakes.

Ludgers is always a good choice. Whether I want a sweet bite, coffee, savory morning croissant, or a salad, this is a solid spot! I love love the cake here. My favorite is the chocolate peanut butter cheesecake-it's absolutely delicious. While I am not a pork eater so can't comment well on most places' breakfast, I can say that the feta and spinach croissant is perfect. It's not a normal croissant shape, and I don't care. I want it every day and would eat one everyday if I could justify it. If you like fun coffees, always order from the seasonal drinks list. They always are great. The interior is super cute and a lovely spot for a small friends or a mommy-daughter date. The only thing lacking are the cookies. Usually more on the dry side than what I like, but that's why you come for the cheesecake

The iced chai latte was excellent. But I tried to order food at 4:30PM. Sign says "full menu available all day." Lady tells me the kitchen closes at 4:00. But that's not what the sign says. Seems confusing. Chai latte was great though.

Terrible customer service. Ordered a cake for pick up on Monday. They made the cake early on Saturday and didn't call to let me know it was ready. When I went to pick it up on Monday, there was no cake and they told me if I wanted the cake, they would have to remake it and it would be hours later. It was a big hassle to get a refund and the manager was unkind about the entire situation. I would not recommended this place to anyone attempting to order ahead.

Wow! I've always heard good things about Ludger's so I decided to pick up a couple of pieces of cake. Since this is a "Bavarian" bakery, I expected they'd have Black Forest cake. Nope! So I settled for the carrot cake. Took it home to hubby and we were both very disappointed! Hardly any carrot flavor, or really any flavor at all. It was stodgy (overly dense), and the cream cheese icing had very little flavor either. So disappointing! :-(

I live in Las Vegas, my family lives in Tulsa so when my mom's birthday rolled around, I was looking for a food gift that wasn't going to cost me a fortune in shipping costs. Has anyone seen the astronomical prices of food on Goldbelly and other dessert delivery services? It's crazy what places are charging! I wanted something special, something unique, and found Bavarian cream cheesecakes while doing a Google search. I was able to place an online order for date, pick up time, cake and frosting flavors, a sauce and personalization without incurring any additional fees, and without having to call anyone. It was so easy. I placed the order under my husband's name and my brother went to pick it up. No issues. Super easy with email confirmation. For less than $35 I was able to get a 6" round chocolate Bavarian cream cake with raspberry sauce that was personalized. My family told me it was super rich and very good.

I was in search of a bakery for my husband's birthday and found Ludgers Bavarian Cakery! It was our first visit and the sweet treat options are endless - whole cakes, cake slices, cake pops, wedding cakes, decadent cupcakes, cookies, & pastries! They also have a variety of delicious coffee(s) along with a breakfast & lunch menu! You can dine in, sit on the front patio, drive thru, or take out! There's also a cute gift shop inside. The associate was nice and helpful in our decision. Instead of buying a whole cake, we decided to try a slice of the Carrot Cake & Red Velvet Bavarian Cream cake! Oh my goodness, it tasted so rich and delicious!!! On our next visit, we will definitely buy the whole cake!

This bakery has the most delicious pastries and cakes! We stopped by on a whim while in town and were so glad we did. We tried a few different types of pastries as well as their famous traditional cake in vanilla and lemon - we were so impressed! We will definitely be back. The service was great as well, they were super helpful.

I am working my way through the entire menu and today I ordered the T-Town Tuna Melt, the Stawberry Lemon Swirl Cheesecake slice and potato salad. I added german mustard, german mayo and bacon to the tuna melt. I have never eaten somewhere that makes every item, that I have tasted so far, absolutely perfect. It's all incredible. So much flavor and cooked/baked perfectly. I'm excited to try more.

Stopped in for a quick coffee, and I chose one of their seasonal lattes. While I waited, I was far too tempted by the dessert case and had to grab a Peanut Butter Chocolate Brownie Cupcake. Both the coffee and the cupcake were divine! But the service was top notch too! The baristas were so fun and friendly, and they truly made the experience. Highly recommend and can't wait to return!

This is a two part review. Part 1 - THE CAKES! Seriously, if you need a Bavarian style cake, want something fancy or more down to earth, either way you go this is the place to come and get it! I have had cakes here for my birthday and was blown away! I am especially a fan of the cheesecakes with chocolate. OMG they are phenomenal! I also really like the level of customization that can be done here. A consultant will come out and help with the available options and cover costs as one would expect. I also like the small area where you can buy gifts and other party accessories! Part 2 - Meal time. Where I admit I have come here for a sandwich a time or two and it was delicious, I have found better sandwiches in Tulsa. I'm not upset at what I had at all, again they were yummy, for the value I have had better in the metro. The ruben though was pretty darn good and full of meat. Overall, I've encountered friendly staff, the store is clean and they offer a drive thru for meal time. Again, the store is clean and the staff are super friendly. One time I even waiting an extended period of time on the inside of the store waiting on a take out order and a staffer noticed I had been there a while. Someone in the back misplaced my ticket and never started my order. I was gifted a box of cupcakes for my troubles. This sort of customer service really means a lot to me and will keep me coming back!

Bustling cafe on a Saturday afternoon. Really accommodating staff. I order something that they later found they were sold out. I had already paid and was just allowed to pick out a couple other things on the spot. The butter croissant is big and super flaky. The layers were really satisfying. The cream puff is small and cute. A bit too much cream for me, but it was still a pleasant food experience. Other cream flavors are chocolate and strawberry.

I'm not sure why people come here. Every time I cone the wait is over 10 minutes for premade sandwiches. Today was the last time. Lots of work to do to get this place In order.

I enjoy having lunch here...I enjoy having coffee here with one of their decadent pastries here...the service by the ladies Ludger's team is always very friendly.. Their Bavarian cake is utmost amazing! They came through with a Disney cake we requested to be a 2-tier, with "lighter" frosting colors since the venue of our daughter's birthday did not allow bright colors that may stain the carpet.. WELL DONE, and thank you, Ludger's!

Keep in mind that we only had coffee/tea and dessert. The other reviews sound like the food is great. We were in Tulsa for a brief visit and were scouting out places to have fresh-made desserts. Our first impression was the sign on the door telling people in no uncertain terms that rude behavior would not be tolerated. That was bewildering and off-putting. The other impression was that the place couldn't decide what to focus on. Is it a cake place? A coffee house? An eatery? Upon entering it was confusing as to what was happening where in the space. We had a tea (normal, but not amazing) and coffee (same) and a cheesecake brownie (tasted like something from Sysco, fine but not amazing) and a Bavarian Cream Cheesecake slice (quite tasty). We ordered and paid for two Carrot Cake Slices only to find out they were all out after we sat down to wait for our order so we ordered these alternatives on the fly. That may also color my experience. The seating and the indoor ambiance are nothing special. Not cozy/comfy/relaxing at all. Soo... the food is probably great and the other desserts might be as well (and I of course cannot comment on the cake ordering process or the taste of their cakes at all), but our experience wasn't positive enough for us to make our way back soon.

I am incredibly impressed every time we eat at Ludgers. Their cakes are amazing, customer service is amazing, and I was really pleased that all staff were wearing masks when I came to pick up my 2 year old's birthday cake. They worked with me to create a custom cake and executed the design perfectly. Pickup went smoothly and the employee even helped me carry it to the car because I ordered a coffee while waiting to get my cake. They are amazing and I will continue to give them my business time and time again.

Ludger's is quite affordable. I wanted something that's less sweet and was recommended a yellow cake or something along that line. I did not go for that thank goodness. I feel like you should always get their specialty cake when going to a bakery. I went with the red velvet. It was sweet but not extremely sweet. It was quite good. I would recommend Ludger's for affordable factor.

Lovely treats and sandwiches. I really enjoy their coffees and hot cocoa for my littles. It's such a nice place, fresh bakery, can see a lot of pride in the baked goods and the staff is always kind. Have not been for a while but last time they took the entire time we were there to bring us our coffees. It's hard to see how understaffed they are and struggle to get it all done. Hoping they can hire as they've been advertising to hire for a while. We really love it here and you just have to be patient for now. Being kind doesn't cost anything.

Tried carrot cake, turnover and an apple pie cupcake. Turnover was the best, carrot cake was very oily and fake.

Had a meeting recently where someone brought an assortment of cupcakes from Ludgers. The person who brought them said it was a Bavarian bakery, and that the icing is their favorite because they use Bavarian cream. I thought that was pretty cool! And I have to say, I agree that the icing was very good. I love how it had this fluffiness and so much airy-ness to it, but it was still thick and more dense. It wasn't thin or runny at all! I imagine it would be pretty hard to get that consistency just right like that. It had a simple flavor... it reminded me almost of a slightly sweeter version of that homemade butter (made by shaking heavy cream) we all used to make as kids for a fun cooking craft (anyone else know what I'm talking about? Haha!), which I always really enjoyed. It's kind of a creamy or milky flavor, so that makes sense. I also appreciate the amount of icing/ cream on each cupcake. They didn't skimp but also didn't overpower it, so I felt like it was just the right amount. And the actual cake part of the cupcake was yummy too! I tried half of two different flavors. The first half I tried was tiramisu. Since this isn't a dessert flavor I have often, I didn't know exactly what to expect, though when I asked I was told it kind of had a coffee flavor. After trying it, I can definitely agree with that, and I liked it. This one was also the most intricate flavors there (just more to it, less simple) and it was cool because I could really see the different layers in it, especially since I cut it in half. The other half I tried was just a regular chocolate on chocolate. I might have liked this one better, but I'm. It sure because they were both good. Again, I was glad to have cut it in half because I could see the inside, which was filled with more chocolate cream. I think it was even a slightly different flavor from the chocolate cream that was on top. The colors were a little different at least, and I kind of felt like the one on the inside maybe had a heavier flavor to it, maybe a little salty (in a good way)? I don't know, I just know it was good. The overall size of the cupcakes were pretty small to standard. From looking at their website it looks like you can get 6 cupcakes for $9 though, so that matches up pretty well in my opinion... as in yeah, maybe they aren't huge, but they aren't charging you as if they were either (and some places do), so I appreciate that.

This is the spot! It's a great little bakery/cafe with an awesome little vibe. I'm a harsh chocolate chip cookie critic and theirs have my stamp of approval; the cookies have a nice little "chew" to them, so I'd especially recommend trying them shortly after they are out of the oven.

Stopped inside to order a cake, since it specializes in them. Nine a.m. on Monday and the young lady with purple hair pretty much acted like I was keeping her from doing something better. "Can I order a cake for Friday?" It depends- we can't do anything special. "I was hoping something that goes along with your name. Something European, like Linzer torte?" We don't do tortes. We do cakes, and nothing special. "So- just a regular cake then?" You can pick the flavor- it's on the board. If you want Bavarian- that's a sponge cake. It's on the board. That's all we do. Nothing special. "Ok- I'll just make it myself." Bye.

Everything I've ever had here has been delicious (including my wedding cake!) but I came to rave about their taco soup. They currently offer it on Tuesdays, and I think it's best soup I've ever had. Definitely the best tortilla soup I've ever had. Slightly spicy, creamy with tons of flavor. Try it!!

Best buttercream frosting in the entire state of Oklahoma! I'm anxious to try the Reuben next time we're in the Tulsa area.

Its warm, friendly environment and delicious food definitely made me love this place. The inside of Ludger's is very clean-cut, sleek, and dainty. I've been here multiple times and have always loved their sweet treats: cake balls, oatmeal cookies, and chocolate cookies. Their food for breakfast and lunch are so tasty yet simple, especially the chicken enchilada soup and the hot turkey and Swiss sandwich. During special holidays and birthdays, we sometimes order a small bavarian cake, which is reasonably priced, delicious, and filling for our family of six. Please support this small, familly-run business!!

Love this place!!!! They have many options here ranging from breakfast food all the way to yummy dessert. Ill start by saying this place has a good selection of breakfast items to choose from and i chose the spinach egg puff which was so delicious and the Coffee was really good too. The cupcakes were good BUT i wasnt a big fan of the chocolate chip scone. The drizzled chocolate wasnt very appetizing but other than the scone i loved this place. Definitely try this place if your in Tulsa get some coffee and pair it up with a cupcake!

As promised an update on the cupcakes we ordered. They looked exactly like my daughter wanted them to and they tasted amazing. They were ready when promised and the staff was pleasant as always

Cool place! Delicious chocolate cheesecake. A bit pricier than expected, but the quality is definitely there.

LOVELY Cafe EXPERIENCE inside with a Wall of many different Beautifully Decorated Cakes. They even an extra private booth (if you're there in time to nab it) with a Beaded Curtain separating it from the rest of the restaurant! They make it a point to have very clean bathrooms as well! You will not regret choosing the restaurant for a Special Lunch or Brunch Date!

Ludger's is absolutely amazing! I've yet to taste anything I didn't like. They have a healthy range of breakfast and lunch options (but healthy doesn't mean tasteless at Ludger's!). And you can shop their adorable gift section while waiting for an amazing latte! I bring family, friends and clients to Ludger's. They never disappoint!​

Hateful Very Rude people that work there. The lady was annoyed that I was asking for cupcakes. Then I asked her what types of quiche. She says it's quiche!!! I said I know it's quiche but can you please tell me what kind. Then she stated slamming the box down and sack to let me know she was pissed off because she wanted to leave work by 4. It was 3:30 and I was trying to pick out candies, and a card. I definitely felt uncomfortable and unwarranted there. will never go back! The cake wasn't good either. I actually gave a whole cake away and got better one at All Things Cake. So many better places to choose from!

Ok but kind of pricey for a sandwich place. Be careful what you order. Don't like the automatic tip feature.

The cakes are amazing every time! The breakfast is delicious. As far as the ambiance inside, I prefer to get it to go. Service is okay, seems like a lot of employees but not a lot of them are sure of who's doing what. I will be back! The buttered croissant is so delicious!

Just picked up 24 cupcakes, mixture of 12 vanilla, 6 chocolate, and 6 red velvet with butter cream top. Nothing special but it costs 54$. And 12 of them are vanilla!! And the taste wasn't any different than Walmart' s cupcakes !!
