This place caught my eye while on the Universal City Walk. I assumed because this place's logo was a 'mean chicken' that they must've had a 'mean chicken sandwich'. I was soooo disappointed. I got the Cordon Bleu Chicken Sandwich, and the chicken had no flavor. My boyfriend agreed and was equally if not more disappointed because I was the one who chose to eat there 😭. The fries are ok. If that cut is your preference, it was too soggy potatoe-y for me.

Though the customer service was great the food was not. The over battered chicken was very bland. The croutons on their salad were soggy and the only tasty thing I had to was the ranch! This is a negative ghost rider on my places to eat!

Our of all the locations, this place looked the most appealing as well as the menu but looks can be deceiving. Note, there is no seasoning on the food. These fries we had were fresh but that was the only part of the meal that was somewhat enjoyable on my 2.5hr drive back home. The chicken...ohhhh the chicken...I dont know what was the thought when making this. It had no flavor and no chicken. As you can see in the photo, my chicken was like this. I had to dig out whatever was chicken put on my salad. This experience definitely changed my good mood. Do not go here if you are hungry or looking to eat healthy. I still can't see how $7.49 (if I recall) turned into over $18.

Sincerely disappointing. I paid $49 for two chicken sandwiches, one chicken fingers, two fry sides and two cokes. Everything was bland and uninspiring at it's best and down right terrible at the worst. Save your money and just suck it up for the wait at Popeye's....

A little pricey but their fried chicken sandwiches are good theme park fare. The food was slow to come, despite us being the only patrons. Staff were unfriendly.

Spent $12 for popcorn chicken and got less than 10 pieces. Check out my picture of the open box. Cashier was rude and food was super expensive.

It’s a decent sandwich at a decent theme park price. There is usually no wait or a very short one and the food comes out quickly and hot. The sandwich itself is decent. I wish the breading were thicker and crunchier, but the bird was cooked through and wasn’t dry when I was eating it. Next time, I would definitely try the popcorn chicken next time as it probably has more breading.

Very expensive for food portions bought much cheaper at any fast food restaurant. The taste of the food was nonexistent, especially the popcorn chicken, even though it was advertised as being "better than how your mom makes them". Popcorn chicken seemed as if it was microwaved and they threw a pinch of spices on it and it had no flavor. Also asked for barbecue and got handed a container with like 5 drops of barbecue in it which ended up being a favor because it tasted awful. Was the first time I've been so disappointed in what I've been served that I had to make a review to save others the time and money.
