I recently visited Lue Thai Cafe and let me tell you, it was like a hole-in-one dining experience! As a vegetarian, I appreciated the wide variety of vegetarian options on the menu. The fresh rolls were so tasty, they were like hitting a clean drive right down the fairway. And the drunken noodles were a hole-in-one - the perfect combination of sweet, spicy, and savory. What really impressed me was how accommodating the restaurant was to people with allergies - it was like hitting a perfect chip shot out of a sand trap. The service was top-notch, as attentive as a golf caddy. And the owner is a true pro, making sure every dish is as satisfying as a winning putt. And let's not forget about the Thai iced tea - it was so refreshing and sweet, it was like hitting a perfect shot onto the green on a hot summer day. But what really took me by surprise was the cheesy noodles - it was like discovering a new club in my golf bag! Overall, Lue Thai Cafe is a must-visit for anyone looking for a fun and delicious dining experience. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, like a day on the links. So, whether you're a vegetarian, a spice lover, or just someone who appreciates good food and a good time, make sure to check out Lue Thai Cafe. It's definitely a hole-in-one!

Great food. This is a solid choice for Thai food in the area. The restaurant is small, the atmosphere is cozy and upbeat, cafe like. The staff is friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant.

What a delight! We popped in here quick for a lunch while on a work trip, and we’ll absolutely keep returning. The owner met us at our table with cabbage soup, it was delicious, chatted with us about the menu, advised on spice levels, and we both landed on two dishes we wouldn’t normally order. Spoiler alert: BOTH FANTASTIC. We started with the crispy shrimp in rice paper and really enjoyed them. I went with the Peanut Noodles, which was a comfortably dense thick noodle dish with fresh cut veggies, shrimp (you pick the protein), and a Thai peanut sauce. I got though maybe half and was stuffed. Took the rest home to devour later. My friend ordered the Curry Noodles, and it was like a next level pad Thai. Very, very tasty. This place is the definition of eating fresh and local, and it was a joy to share a meal and a conversation here.

Google
Service is great. You can tell they are short of people but the lady in floor tried her best to serve us. Food served very fast which was common in Thai restaurant. Kids food were great! The fired rice was amazing and the satay chicken was tendered. Curry food was above average. But the CU(flat noodles) was 😭 my was too sweet and my sisters’ was too slaty. The cooking way was not right either. They were too wet… Overall, recommend for Thai food but not recommend for the flat noodles(all)

Google
We checked in at a hotel across the street and the place had reasonable reviews so we decided to check it out. The restaurant is very simple and the food was okay for the price. I had the Panang Curry with chicken and they served crab chips as we started ordering. The server was friendly but our dinners came to the table with 10 min difference so we didn't eat at the same time even though there were few guests. If you like spicy be careful with the hot option, I like it hot but the medium plus I got was almost too much... I will probably not become a regular here but it was okay for a one time dinner.

Google
Cozy place with excellent food!! The pad Thai was delicious 🤤 I love spicy food and they offer five levels of heat. Since it was my first time I went with the third level which was right in the middle. There was enough to let me know there was heat in it, but next time I will definitely go for the fifth level SUPER SPICY 🌶 CANT WAIT!! The wait staff was extremely friendly and very helpful. I cannot wait to go back! They are very reasonable and pricing and have a lot of options. If you’re in the neighborhood and looking for a quick lunch or dinner, this is definitely a place to try.

Had the place to ourselves for most of the meal! Quick service and our food was delicious! Try the Thai peanut for a yummy entree- plus it came with a sweet and sour soup! Shrimp chips were the perfect starter, which come right away.

Yelp
4 stars. Good food, waiter was great at pointing out fish sauce in veggie dishes and making sure our dietary needs were met and understood. 2 stars. Kitchen did something halfway through meal that smelled so bad I couldn't eat and hd to wait outside as our bills were completed. Cleaning steel perhaps? It had a metallic smell not a burned food smell.

Yelp
The food was the worst Thai food I have ever had, literally no taste, just a waste of money and time going there. I would advise anyone to go to any other Thai joint instead.

Yelp
Came here for dinner on a work trip . The food is great , authentic Thai food . The spring rolls were hot and fresh , along with everyone's meals . No complaint from anyone .The service was great , and our waitress was extremely nice . The restaurant is small and gives off the mom and pops feel. Looking forward to coming back here .

Yelp
In an effort to support local businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic, we ordered carry out from Lue Thai. I had only been here one time before; but I'll definitely be back. I love that they are not allowing patrons into their restaurant only a few workers. They are gloved and masked when bringing food to the car and even asked if we were comfortable signing the receipt. They are accepting cash if you have exact change. It was a contactless exchange. As for the food...everything was delicious! Crab and Cheese appetizer was cooked perfectly with a generous amount of filling. The fresh rolls were as expected. It's a tight roll so they don't fall apart like I've experienced at other Thai restaurants. The Pra Ram is my FAVORITE Thai dish and not very many places serve it around here. It's a peanut butter delight! We also ordered the pineapple fried rice with brown rice and chicken; some of the best fried rice I've had! Full of flavor, cooked perfectly, and balanced with veggies and pineapples.

Yelp
They had a complimentary soup. It was delicious and great. The food that o ordered was so tasty. Service was fast. Place was nice & clean.

Yelp
I ordered food for delivery from post mates from here and I was very disappointed. Especially with this place having 4 stars. I had to stay in Detroit a couple weeks ago for a day because my flight got delayed and I was really looking forward to trying Thai food in this area. I ordered a halal chicken pad Thai in which I mentioned I didn't want certain things like sprouts in it but I wanted it to be spicy. Now I know how spicy Thai food can be and how delicious at that. This was not the case at all. It was for one not spicy what so ever. It was all sweet and tangy. Had no flavor really. The noodles didn't seem all the way cooked. Only thing that was right was the fact that there were no sprouts. Other than that this place is definitely no way close to a four. Very misleading. I also ordered a soup. Now I know for a fact that this was just microwaved. It seemed as if they just added water and the ingredients together and stuck it in the microwave. It was a supposed to also be spicy. Again it was just a tangy taste no spice at all. The name of the soup is Tom yum and I had them add shrimp because I felt it would've been a nice combo. I was looking for just a comforting nice soup. This instantly just made my stomach turn. Definitely do not recommend this to people who like Thai food and spicy thai at that. Four stars are not valid at all for this place. I recommend you maybe take a look at the pictures and reviews before you give this place a go.

Yelp
We had the chicken dumplings, drunken noodles with shrimp, pineapple fried rice with chicken, and peanut noodles with chicken. Everything was delicious. The staff was friendly, and service was very good. Will definitely eat here again.
google avatar

Matt Z.

Yelp
Love the fresh soup and the lettuce wraps. The atmosphere is beautiful and make sure you try the new chicken dumplings

John J.

Yelp
I'm sad I have to leave a not great review, but I have to be honest because this dish was not worth $21. I've eaten plenty of drunken noodle dishes and this was the worst. The noodles were inconsistent in texture; some were firm, some were really mushy and a lot of them were stuck together. What you see in the pic is what I couldn't finish. There were a total of 6 medium sized shrimp. A good portion of this dish was drowned in the sauce they used, which was pretty salty. I appreciated the 4 small bell pepper chunks, it balanced the saltiness, but there were no other major vegetables... a few bland, rubbery sprouts and scallions just doesn't cut it. I'm used to this dish having tomatoes and a variety of large bell peppers chunks. To be fair, (two stars), I ordered this just before they closed on a Friday night.

Yelp
I've eaten here a couple times now and am genuinely impressed with the service, flavors and portions. Their menu is set up in such a way that you'll know what comes in your dish, which I can appreciate. I don't have to take a guess that I'll like the components like so many ethnic restaurants. Almost everything can be made vegetarian and many meals can be made vegan, depending on the sauce they use. My favorite dish so far has been a chicken dish with potatoes and red curry. It's so rich and tasty. The service is always excellent, with waiters stopping by just the right number of times. Prices are reasonable, with most dishes running $8-$12. I find the portions (especially of the proteins) to be much better than Bangkok 96 (where you're lucky to get maybe 6 pieces of chicken in any given dish.) I never leave Lue Thai upset that I didn't get my fill. The atmosphere is the only place they don't get the highest ranking. It's very small and quite open, so it gets loud and intimacy is impossible. The decor is cute, though. I'm glad I gave Lue Thai a try. Though Bangkok 96 is around the block from me, I'd rather drive the extra mile for Lue Thai instead. They have ample parking in either parking garage behind the restaurant and there's more value in their pricing.
google avatar

Jessica C.

Yelp
I love Lue Thai! Our go-to place for Thai since Bangkok96 is always insanely busy. The keaw warn is my favorite dish, with extra eggplant. The fresh rolls are also very tasty. Only complaint is that the pad thai and other dishes have sometimes been lacking in the amount of sauce, so were rather dry.

Yelp
I had planned to visit this place for a long time but everytime I planned something else happened so today I got the chance to visit the restaurant. So to start with the food is halal so thats the first . When we entered we were greeted by a very nice gentleman who then got us a table and brought the menu. We ordered the food and duting the whole process the gentleman was very courteous. The food was fresh and during my whole time there the server came and asked about the food and service for atleast 5 times which was very nice. I highly recommend this place and I will definitely will be visiting again.

Yelp
Always good food, never disappointed here. This time tried peanut butter bowl as mentioned under house specials. Peanut is one ingredient I like in Thai food or any food. Like peanuts raw or roasted, peanut butter. Order bowl with chicken. Never had peanut butter with salad. It was different and good too. Only thing here is not a good place if you have more than 6. We were group of 8 and had to split.

Yelp
Great service and good food. The ambiance was great.Just try it.You might like it.Dearborn Heights is a great area to eat.It has plenty of restaurants.
google avatar

Vincent L.

Yelp
Kind service but the food is too salty for me. And why is all the noddle dish is watery. I recommend people to go other Thai restaurant than this one .
google avatar

Ronda N.

Yelp
Good enough for Thai but not the best. I ordered the Pow Prik fried rice with chicken medium spice. There was hardly any spice and the fried rice was not flavorful. I was craving Thai so it did the job but I was hoping for spicy robust flavor. The restaurant is colorful and decorated with ethnic art pieces. Limited parking is available in a nearby metered lot and street parking. The service is good and the employees are friendly.

Yelp
I can say with confidence that Lue Thai Café has bragging rights for some of the best Pad Thai in the Metro Detroit area. Their generous portions of these spicy and savory rice noodles have just the right amount of "bite" to them - not too hard, not too soft. They are the perfect set up for the scrambled egg, scallions, bean sprouts, crushed peanuts and protein that they incorporate into this fine dish. Another one of my go to dishes here is their Von Sen. (Called Pad Woon Sen in most Thai restaurants) Think of it as Pad Thai's Indian cousin with a big pile of chewy glass noodles, plenty of protein, a little scrambled egg and a pronounced curry flavor. If you like Pad Thai, you'll probably like Von Sen. I also have to give kudos to Lue Thai for offering complimentary shrimp chips and those cups of complimentary Hot and Sour Soup. What's not to like here? Well, let me tell you... Their service on the other hand... I mean, it's not bad, but both times I felt a little rushed in a "let's get these tables turned" kind of way. Also, while their booths are comfortable enough, their cramped table seating feels like my old high school cafeteria which doesn't make me want to linger and relax. Lastly and with no loss of stars, this restaurant doesn't offer any adult beverages...and I really wanted a Mai Tai... 4 solid stars for this one. And One Last Little Thing They aren't afraid of making dishes spicy. I'm a spice lover and they test my limits every time. Go one spice level down and ask for more seasoning, Sriracha or chilis and add them yourself.
google avatar

Shane M.

Yelp
Always good. Fresh, unique. Well prepared and the spice levels are never off. Highly recommend the pad khing. Staff is always friendly and nice.

Yelp
I really did not enjoy my dinner at this place. I was staying in Dearborn and didnt want to drive back into Detroit for food so I checked Yelp for any Thai food nearby. With decent reviews I was pretty surprised at how bad the food was here. We ordered the cabbage salad and tom yum soup for appetizers. The soup was spicy but it had a very metallic after taste. Could barely finish it. The dressing on cabbage salad was awful and tasted like the whole salad had been soaking in dish water. The cabbage was soggy and the tomatoes didn't taste fresh. that was the worst dish. We didn't eat it. The green curry was SO sweet, not in a good way. I've never tasted curry sweet like that, and it was not pleasant. We ate about half of that. My dish, the ka prow, was fine. It was spicy and the veggies were fresh. It was also on the sweet side but that dish is meant to have a sweeter flavor I believe. I ate most of it, wouldn't order it again, but it wasn't bad. I just wouldn't come here again. Prices were reasonable, staff was accommodating, and parking was free and plentiful in the garage on the block behind.
google avatar

Melissa S.

Yelp
Super nice staff, free shrimp chips. That's the end of the good... I normally say a lot more about a place or try to make the most of my experience because I hate doing negative reviews, but it was just down right bad food... I got Pad Thai, husband got Gang Gai. Both dishes had no heat whatsoever even though we ordered medium spice. My Pad Thai was nauseatingly sweet and I couldn't get through half of it and did not take any home... Not worth it...
google avatar

Lala S.

Yelp
Saw on yelp that they were the best thai food in the area and i would agree that they are correct. I ordered the pad thai and it was really good and nicely flavored compared to some that i have had.
google avatar

Deb M.

Yelp
I was so happy when a friend suggested this place for a relaxing Saturday afternoon lunch. I'm always up for some good Thai food. It is relatively new and is a bit on the small size. It looks like they do a pretty good carry out business as well. The first thing you will notice are the little details - the cute tea pots and cups, the stunning picture on the wall of what I can imagine is a street scene from Thailand, the complimentary shrimp chips, and the hot and sour soup that comes with the entrees (hint: dip the shrimp chips in the soup - delish!). The service may be a little sparse but nothing that is overly bothersome. I think the serving sizes are perfect, you will probably have a little bit left over to take home, especially after filling up on the shrimp chips and soup! Some highlights from past meals are: Chicken Pad Thai (if you say hot, they will go hot), pad see ew with shrimp (my favorite so far) and the bean thread noodles dish. The spring rolls and plum sauce are delicious and are a great starter. And the Jasmine tea is great!! Give this new little place a try if you're in the area, it's very enjoyable.

Yelp
On a spur-of-a-moment decision my sister and I stoped in for to-go Thai. Greeter told us, "No to-go menu", but I'm not even sure what that meant lol. We picked up Pad Thai w shrimp and chicken Curry Basil and spring rolls. Medium spicy. Mhhheh. Not at all spicy. Rolls were bland but I suppose typically are. 6 pieces of smaller shrimp in our decent tasting Pad Thai and very small rice with our Curry dish. All was edible but not a restaurant I'll be visiting again any time soon.

Rob B.

Yelp
1st time visitor with 2 guests. Very happy with the food and the service. We ordered Pad Thai, Vegtable curry with chicken and Sesame chicken. All were very good. Pleasant atmosphere. Would return and would recommend to friends.
google avatar

Ray F.

Yelp
This was the worst Thai food I've ever had. A waste of $70. The food had no flavor. Don't waste your money just go somewhere else!

Matthew F.

Yelp
Been coming here since they opened. Food quality and quantity has made it thru lockdowns.
google avatar

Yelp
Tried Lue Thai for the first time today, prices are average but should have lunch option pricing. 9.50 for a bowl of Pad Thai should be reconsidered. Noodles were good but the sauce was kind of off (maybe I'm not used to the new taste). I'm a student at UM-Dearborn and Michigan Ave is where everyone goes out to eat for when the sun's out and have long breaks between classes. Food was average had the Pad Thai and Lettuce Wraps. I ordered a mild pad thai and it was spicy. Staff is nice and wonderful. Stopped in for lunch and received good but not the best thai food. I'll give it 3 stars today.
google avatar

Michelle T.

Yelp
We originally had plans to come into Lue Thai to grab dinner since it was Dearborn Restaurant Week (2 appetizers or 2 soups, 2 entrees, 2 drinks, and 1 dessert for $30). My flight from Chicago was delayed 2.5 hours and by the time I was in the car, it was about 45 minutes before closing time. Thankfully, they offered the RW deal for takeout too! So we placed the call when I got into the car and picked up our food 30 minutes before closing time. Whiew! I had the Pad See Ew noodles and BF had one of their curries. Both were really good and very big portions! We had the Crab Rangoon and Fried Tofu appetizers and 2 Thai Iced Teas. For dessert, we went with a slice of their Mango Cake. Everything was really good. Service was prompt and very friendly. I definitely wouldn't mind coming in for some Thai food on a regular basis.
google avatar

Adrienne A.

Yelp
I have tried Lue Thai about four times now and I think it keeps getting better. I am very picky about Thai restaurants, but I can now say Lue Thai will be my local go to place. The trick here is to order a step higher spice level than you might usually order, since they tend toward the mild level. I order medium here and that's about perfect @ enough to make it interesting but not so much to burn your lips (not to mention your tongue). Since this was Dearborn Restaurant Week, my meal came with an appetizer so I ordered the crab wontons/rangoons. I'd say there's were better than average and they're served with a nice fruit sauce. The same sauce comes with the spring rolls. For my entree, I ordered the pad thai, which came with a nice dusting of chopped peanuts and well-sauced. The noodles were nicely chewy, but not too much so. The chicken wasn't too dried out like some pad thai I've had in the past. Altogether it was very good and plentiful. I would order it again and I'm looking forward to the leftovers. I also tried my dining partner's pineapple fried rice, which was also quite delicious and moist, not too dried out like others. Good job, Lue Thai! We'll be back!
google avatar

Saran S.

Yelp
Tried the imitation crab - was not a huge fan. tasted like Dough ball.

Joey B.

Yelp
Very good pricing for a superb meal. The food was amazing. Some others reviews indicated that the noodle dishes were dry with not enough sauce. This was not true for us: the curry noodle had a good helping of sauce. Also, the chicken satay was was impeccable. All the food here tasted very authentic. The restaurant itself was very clean and pretty. I particularly enjoyed the painting of a beautiful waterfall in Thailand. The help was very attentive and kind. I have no complaints. High quality food at a reasonable, lovely low price. Wish I could take a photo of it, but we already ate it all!
google avatar

Kristina L.

Yelp
I tried this place twice so far.. I say twice because I plan to return. I ordered a chicken pad Thai, it came with soup and shrimp chips, and I also ordered spring rolls. The rolls were really good, I would def get them again. The soup I didn't care for, it was hot and sour, hate to use this comparison but tasted like a Chinese buffet soup.. it wasn't bad it was just a bit thick. The taste was good but the consistency was a little too thick for my liking. The pad Thai was really good, they were not stingy on the chicken, next time I order it though I'll probably ask for a little less sauce it was a bit soupy at the bottom.. taste was great though. The staff was really friendly.
google avatar

Amelia B.

Yelp
We went for date night when it opened up not toooooo long ago. I'm a fan of the shrimp chips they offer when you sit But some of the other things I didn't feel good about. Generally, The seafood Drunken Noodles are a favorite of mine, but they had imitation crab. Just dont put it in. Its not good. But pad thai was great! The Thai tea was kinda weird. But, I find it can be hit and miss at places. We haven't tried it since then, but kinda because parking is a pain in the butt. Its also very small there.
google avatar

Sophia H.

Yelp
We had two soups to start with, Tom yum soups! One with shrimp and one without. Great portions and steaming hot. We followed up with 3 entrees, one was a peanut veggie dish, cashew nut chicken, and pattani with halal chicken in a red spicy base. You have to request Halal meat specifically, they have it. But be clear if you want everything halal. Then we had brown rice and white rice. The food was excellent! Soup warmed me to the core today! The peanut dish was my least favorite and a little too peanuts for my liking. The other two were great. Service was attentive and helpful!
google avatar

Stephanie W.

Yelp
Lue Thai is a solid option for Thai food in the area. They offer most of the usual dishes I know and crave. I ordered the Penang Curry and my friends ordered another Curry dish. The portions were fragrant, colorful, and my medium spice dish was a respectable level of spicy! There were plenty of leftovers so that's pretty exciting too. I came in the middle of the lunch rush, yet the staff were very patient and provided quick and efficient service with a smile. The seating is a little tight. The dining area is very clean. There's plenty of free parking in the parking structure behind the restaurant.
google avatar

W. John R.

Yelp
I don't mind updating a review if a place vastly improves, and Lue Thai vastly improved. I went there with a coworker who had been wanting to try it out - even though it wasn't amazing on my first trip. My two biggest previous complaints - relatively tiny portion size and poor service - were both completely addressed. I ordered shrimp Pad Thai (Hot instead of Medium Plus this time). It was fantastic, exactly the right spice level, and the portion was actually on the "take home box" large side. The previous lunch, I left unfulfilled. There are some reasons why Lue Thai is now my favorite Thai restaurant in the area. They served my Pad Thai, but left the bean sprouts and chopped nuts in corners of the plate. It helped with presentation, and it made a HUGE difference when I mixed them in - adding a crunchy texture that wouldn't have been there if those things had been added in the dish while still in the kitchen. My companion ordered Udon noodles - strange for a Thai restaurant - but he absolutely loved them. He wants to go back as soon as possible. His dish was chock full of broccoli (which I dislike, so I didn't taste his) and it looked bright and fresh. I also found the servers to be quite attentive. Since I upped my spice level, I also upped my water intake requirement, and the servers checked back frequently and were really friendly, even though the restaurant was packed with a line (and now I can see why!). I love when I re-visit a restaurant that I previously thought was mediocre and it has turned into stellar. Kudos to the staff and management of Lue Thai for really stepping it up a notch - thank you!
google avatar

Margie M.

Yelp
I don't know what happened to this place but in the last six months it has gone downhill! The veggie pad Thai has little veggies in it and no sauce! I don't know if they have new owners. Beware of this place! Used to be the most flavorful now it's flavorless!
google avatar

Sean M.

Yelp
The first time I tried Lue Thai, I was a little disappointed. I will admit I was 100% wrong and must have went on an off day. Now I see the hype behind this place. Lue Thai has turned into my favorite Thai place in SE Michigan. They do a great job and everything is super fresh! I highly recommend!

Hass H.

Yelp
Once upon a time they used to be a good now the food is bland.. it's nice clean place but they need better chef
google avatar

Shanna K.

Yelp
Ok, so this place has always had my heart; a well labeled menu, and vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, and halal options. I mean - amazing! But it gets even better; I've been driving here from Ypsi pretty much weekly because they are so on top of things regarding safety during this pandemic. Take out or delivery only (no dine in), plexiglass, masks, only two people allowed inside to pick up at a time, you can order and pay over the phone. Plus the food is tasty. I eat a lot of their tom kha soup, tofu spring rolls, peanut curry noodles, and drunken noodles. Only thing here I haven't liked is the pad thai - I have noticed in Michigan, they tend to make it super sweet and lemony, which is different than I am used to. Otherwise, a home run (and a safe one at that) every time!
google avatar

Jacob F.

Yelp
Given that there's not really much Thai competition nearby, I give Lue Thai 5 stars. In reality, it's a solid 4. In a nutshell, all the sauces are excellent, the veggies are plentiful and fresh, and the chicken (I haven't tried any other meats) is nice white meat. Every dish I've had has LOTS of flavor, however the spice level seems a little inconsistent (sometimes "medium" means no heat, sometimes it means I'm sweating). The soups and side dishes I've had have also been above average. Portions and prices are perfectly in balance, although take-out seems maybe a touch skimpier than dine-in.

Yelp
First time eating here while visiting for my niece's graduation. The hosts were very friendly and the food were absolutely delicious! We started off with fresh rolls and vegetation spring rolls: both were tasty. As my brother in law frequented this restaurant, he spoke to the owner and inquired about the upcoming summer menu, which will include papaya salad! To our delight the owner prepared one for us which was both fresh & authentic; he did not disappoint, as the spicy sauce and even the small crabs nailed all the right details. As for the main entrees, the flavor profiles of both the pad ped (with beef) and the keaw warn were amazing! All in all we were very happy with the food and service and will be definitely patronizing this family business

Zabihahman ..

Yelp
One of the best Thai food in Dearborn. They have Halal options too . They close early during winter which is annoying. Highly recommend - Curry Fried Rice , Medium+ I'd rate it better than Sy Thai(Wayne Campus).

Nicole E.

Yelp
I do love that some Thai places still give shrimp crackers out to their guests, that was cost-cut out for most. I thought their version of sweet and sour soup was weak, it was lacking if robust flavor and tasted rather flat and watered down. I thought the Pad Pak sauce was decent, but was rather small in size and the array of vegetables was skimpy, which was a bummer, since I am a vegetarian and never get meat, or tofu. I tried my colleagues Pad Thai, noodles were well cooked, but the sauce seemed so off for Pad Thai. I did love the crispy spring rolls, though the sweet sauce was a bit too chunky and I thought the fried rice was good. I still prefer Bangkok 96 above any other Thai restaurants, but I am always open to trying out new Thai spots. The service was great, very friendly and attentive. I had Pad Thai again today 3/19/18 and the egg or sauce made me nauseous when it came out. I only ate 3 bites before I stopped and didn't have to order anything else since I had to rush to get to a meeting. I prefer the flavor and spices and dishes of BK96. Plus it occurred to me that they charge the same as BK96 but you only get about 1/2 or 2/3 the amount you would here at Lue's Thai. So I feel I am being scammed when I eat here. They need to work on the flavors they put out. Maybe study BK96 more if they want to compete.

Yelp
Such a trendy spot in West Dearborn. Very classy with a well lit atmosphere. The prices are excellent and the wait wasn't long at all. Our servers suggestions were great and we enjoyed the hustle and bustle of this live place. Gladly there are HALAL! May I add that the owner is the chef and a sweetheart that took the time to say hi.

Yelp
We went for a quick dinner and were a lil disappointed with the spring rolls,a lil bland and oily. The peanut curry sauce noodles were a lil sweet but tasted good with the schezuan sauce. Lunch is a lot better here. We really liked the curry fried rice though. It's clean and the ambience is good.

Yelp
Fantastic customer service and flavor is always on point. I've been able to order quite a bit of different items and have them veganized.

Yelp
This place just opened and has promise. I will re-review once I've been back a second time. The decor is nice with yellow and red walls. The bathroom is very clean and well stocked. We were seated at a table that was not cleaned off before we sat down. The food is good-we ordered basil fried rice with beef and the pad thai. We also ordered a chicken satay and that never came out. The soup and main course came out at the same time which I didn't care for but the waitress was very conscientious about making sure my food allergy to seafood was handled well. She had communication with the kitchen so my meal would be prepared separately. :) We ordered the food at a medium spice level and it felt more like extremely mild to me. I guess I'll try it hot next time. The basil rice was flavorful and the pad thai tasted bright, fresh, and was presented beautifully. When our check was brought, I paid cash and waited for a long time to get my change. They never brought it out, we got tired of waiting and just left. I'm hoping the few hiccups with service will be ironed out by the time we give this place a second try.
