Philly’s Best Vegan Restaurants

"Luhv serves up vegan deli fare at its Hatboro bistro and Reading Terminal Market stand. The market location sells cold cuts and sliced cheeses to go along with sandwiches like smoked golden beet lox and cream cheese on a bagel and a top-notch Reuben on rye. If you haven’t tried it yet, start with the tuna salad, combining elements such as chickpeas and seaweed — it’s a customer favorite for good reason." - Ernest Owens, Grace Dickinson

DELICIOUS sandwiches, soups and salads. Spacious sitting area with a play area for children as well. Can’t wait to go back!

We tried an array of vegan sandwiches, each one so wonderful it was hard to pick a favorite. Cheesteak! Chicken parm! Ruben! Italian hoagie! Even our Italian mother approved. Good job friends!

Really good vegan spot in Philly. It’s a creative menu with a lot of different options. It’s quick, casual food with a lot of thought put into it. My group was blown away by how good the soups were. The sweet potato one was smooth with a little kick of jalapeño. The energy was one of the best soups I’ve had. Every ingredient worked together well and was extremely fresh. The sandwiches and burgers we tried were good but not great. A few fell flat on taste. Come for the soup alone! I’ll be back to give it another try.

After frequenting the amazing food from their Reading Terminal Market location, we were excited to try out the cafe/deli location in Point Breeze. We were not disappointed. It was a cold rainy afternoon so we were the only people in the dining area, nonetheless we were served with a smile & the vegan bacon/egg & cheese sandwich we ordered was a 10/10, one of the best in Philadelphia for vegan fare. We got two sandwiches, a coffee & a drink for under $30, which was a great value. Much appreciated & we will be back!

Have been going to the Point Breeze + RTM locations for years - the quality and service is so consistent! Also great for quick takeout to travel or Phillies game. In a great city for vegan food Luhv really stands out. All their custom deli ingredients are great to take home for cooking as well. Among the sandwiches, BEC, tuna salad hoagie, and turkey bacon hoagie are probably my favorites. Highly recommend trying some of the less typical deli options like the empanadas, cubano, and soups too. Thank you for providing this option in a big sandwich city!

I can easily say that Luhv is home to the BEST vegan sandwiches in Philly. I know my Philly vegan spots and this place is amazing. The portion sizes, the prices, the space (there’s an upstairs), the FLAVOR — truly wonderful. Definitely gonna come back a million more times!

Ridiculously delicious food. Both ladies working were friendly and helpful. Suuuper reasonably priced. And I love all the unapologetic vegan infographics in the shop. I’m gonna be dreaming of this place for months to come until I can get back to Philly.

The vegan meat here is incredible, but the Italian hoagie only had a few thin slices and was mostly loaded with lettuce. Pretty disappointing balance / value. Vibes could use a bit of love. I did send an email back in July regarding a worse experience at the other location, but received no reply.
