Philly’s Best Vegan Restaurants

"Luhv serves up vegan deli fare at its Hatboro bistro and Reading Terminal Market stand. The market location sells cold cuts and sliced cheeses to go along with sandwiches like smoked golden beet lox and cream cheese on a bagel and a top-notch Reuben on rye. If you haven’t tried it yet, start with the tuna salad, combining elements such as chickpeas and seaweed — it’s a customer favorite for good reason." - Ernest Owens, Grace Dickinson

After frequenting the amazing food from their Reading Terminal Market location, we were excited to try out the cafe/deli location in Point Breeze. We were not disappointed. It was a cold rainy afternoon so we were the only people in the dining area, nonetheless we were served with a smile & the vegan bacon/egg & cheese sandwich we ordered was a 10/10, one of the best in Philadelphia for vegan fare. We got two sandwiches, a coffee & a drink for under $30, which was a great value. Much appreciated & we will be back!

The cheese steak sandwich was decent (close to the real meat) and they had a variety to choose from. My husband had the Cubana which is the pork/ham made from Seitan. I enjoyed his better lol

Super friendly service, delicious food, and fair prices! They had a high chair for my kiddo too. Ordered a B.B.Q. Pork Sandwich, Cubano, the Grilled Cheese from the kid's menu, and a brownie. Get the brownie, it's insane!

Good food, I ordered online for a pickup. Food was prepared quickly and wasn't too expensive. Worth the price! Definitely will continue to order from here. The young man working when I picked up was cool as well.

Really good vegan spot in Philly. It’s a creative menu with a lot of different options. It’s quick, casual food with a lot of thought put into it. My group was blown away by how good the soups were. The sweet potato one was smooth with a little kick of jalapeño. The energy was one of the best soups I’ve had. Every ingredient worked together well and was extremely fresh. The sandwiches and burgers we tried were good but not great. A few fell flat on taste. Come for the soup alone! I’ll be back to give it another try.

Quaint deli style restaurant with clean, ample seating. I had the bacon, egg and cheese and energy soup. The bread the BEC came on was Excellent! The portions of each were great as well. The soup was fresh and moderately seasoned. I enjoyed everything though. I'll be back to try other items.

I finally made it over here and now I’ve gone 3x in one month. Go. The food is so fresh and insanely delicious. We got salads, crab cake sandwiches, wraps, treats, soups. We also got one of their thanksgiving entrees. Whether you are vegan or not you can’t beat this place their food is delicious, fresh and consistently great. Room to sit and eat or quick on taking food to go.

Me and my boyfriend usually go to reading terminal but didn’t want to be bothered with no seating and large crowds. This location superseded my expectations! Everything on the menu is vegan. I was a bit sad about the lack bagels but I didn’t need it. Thank you for putting your foot into this breakfast sandwich! 😂 My goodness it was delicious. The pickles were just right too. 😃 Ross and Nat were a pleasure! Thank you!!
