If you're around in the evening, walk up and check the times on the door because it may look like they're closed because of the awesome tint they have that protects staff from the burning sun but also makes it seem like they're closed.
I'm so glad I saw a party walk in to the small shop before we walked the opposite direction in search of yummy food.
Yummy food was right in front of us! I have been jonesing for a good Maine lobster roll. These were fantastic! Got the warm butter lobster roll in 4oz, and the regular lobster roll in 8oz. The staff was very friendly and worked quickly. I asked if we could get them to go and mentioned that I'd be sharing my 8oz roll so they offered to cut it in half for us. Yaaas! They also recommended that we enjoy the warm roll within 10-15 minutes for optimal foodie experience. My kiddo devoured his warm roll in the car on the way home. He said he was afraid it would be too buttery, but felt that it was just the right amount. He said it was, "bomb bomb"! I was so excited to dig into mine as soon as we got home. But I did not forget my photo! They were so sweet, not only did they cut my 8oz in half, they also built a little barrier to keep the two pieces upright and the meat secure within the roll! Love it, winning!
I will definitely be back whenever I start jonesing again. The roll was packed, the meat was sweet and soft. I especially appreciated that there were no fillers like some other places that add slaw. I don't know why they do that.
The shop was small, but cute. They have nautical decor, a small bistro seating area inside and a lovely patio lit with string lights off to the side. Beverages consist of whatever their offering is in the fridge...soda cans, sparking water, apple juice, and lemonade. They also have soup, but I was too focused on my roll that I didn't notice until I overheard the next customer order the bisque. I thought, awwwwwwwww man!
