The Very First Chick-fil-A Restaurant Closes at Greenbriar Mall in Atlanta | Eater Atlanta

"I learned that North DeKalb Mall is being transformed into Lulah Hills, a 73-acre redevelopment planned to include apartments, townhomes, a hotel, walking trails, and new retail and restaurants as the site shifts toward a mixed-use, live-work-play model." - Beth McKibben

A rapidly declining mall in a decent area. There are plans to redevelop it and possibly add a Costco. Aside from A nice Burlington Coat Factory , Marshals, GNC and Bath and Body Works most national chains have left. Macy's and Ross's are are the latest large stores to leave, although an AMC theater remains. It feels safe, and is reasonably well maintained although needs remodeled and retenanted if it's not redeveloped

A quiet place with limited outlets but well maintained at the same time. Don't come here to eat coz it doesn't offer many options but yeah you could find anything to everything if you need to buy and a quite place to visit when you have absolutely nothing to do. AMC Theatre is what you could look for and almost all food chains are nearby. A lil art place is my favorite in this mall and the African store that sells excellent African and Indian fragrances !

Itsa dead mall, what do you know. Marshalls there is pretty decent, but that's about it. Very lonely foot locker. Macy's is a Rich's in my heart.

5 stars because I never had a complaint about North DeKalb Mall. My parents and I went to the movies to see Captain America and I almost shed a tear for the old mall. There are only piles of dirt there now.😢 It's good to see the movie theater and Marshall's still holding on during this transition. I miss North DeKalb Mall but I'm also hopeful for what's coming. I just pray that traffic won't be a nightmare (worse than it already is). So hopefully they are considering everything.

This has to be to most depressing mall I have ever been to in my life. This place is a complete ghost town and it smells of decay. Very sad.

We love it for the AMC theater with cheaper tickets. The abandoned mall vibe has a certain charm to it. Gonna miss this place when it gets redeveloped.

What's not to like? It is a bit antiquated & most of the shopping mall has closed up, but... It is clean and affordable & both the staff and customers are nice. My go-to movie theater. With a Marshall's next door. Hopefully, the scheduled development of this property includes the AMC &it remains convenient & affordable.

The ticket are cheap, nachos are very good, and it's not a lot of people in here. It's not as popular as it was in the 90's early 2000's but it was cool. My husband and I are the only two here.
