Lulu - Bar & Eatery

This is the first time i’ve been to a themed bar like this one and i was quite impressed with the overall experience i had here. I went there on the spot without any reservations beforehand so I couldn’t expect anything. One of the staffs informed me that i might have to wait a few minutes before they could designate a seat for me and my friend. But the waiting was not long. Menu was reasonably priced, it matches with the location, food standards, presentation, proportion, everything went great. I wish the food roll-outs was paced a little differently, ideally a bit slower, it would have been better. Drinks were great, i don’t think it was watered down or anything. Really good quality. Atmosphere was as I expected, low lights, cozy yet good AC, suitable for group of guesses under 10 pax. Best fits imo are for couples, group under 4 pax. I don’t have anything to add on to in order to improve the experience. I hope they can keep it up and somehow elevate it to the next level.

The bar akaa restaurant, is situated in a quiet alley, but once the doors close, you'll feel transported to Latin America. The music is lively, the lighting dim, and the space generous, featuring a second floor and private nooks. The atmosphere is ideal for a date night or a relaxed drink with friends. The signature cocktails are distinctive and full of flavour. The bartender is highly skilled and crafts excellent drinks. I didn’t get a chance to try the food, but they offer a Mexican set menu that looks promising.

Lulu Bar and Eatery is a new speakeasy/bar that recently opened in Tan Dinh. The bar has a cuban vibe with beautiful decorations and aesthetic! I love the vibe here so much, as every corner of the bar is so photo worthy! Not only that, the drinks here are so good! They have both specialty cocktails that cuban inspired, as well as your classic drinks! I ordered three drinks - Spicy Tango, Sex on the Beach, and Savage Blush! My favorite was the Spicy Tango, as it has such a nice spicy kick that pair well with the mango! The staff here are so friendly and helpful! 10/10 must visit when you are in Ho Chi Minh City!!

If there’s one place you must experience in Ho Chi Minh City, it’s Lulu Bar. Hands down the best Cuban bar in all of Asia — and I don’t say that lightly. From the moment you walk in, you’re transported out of Saigon and straight into a Havana night. The atmosphere is this perfect blend of warm Cuban soul, tropical energy, and modern edge. The lighting, the decor, the vibe — everything feels intentional, inviting, and alive. We started with their Cuba Libres, and wow… I’ve had them all over the world and these were on another level. Perfect balance of rum, lime, and that smooth Cuban feel — dangerously easy to drink. Paired that with taro chips topped with pork and I swear that dish alone needs its own award. Crispy, salty, smoky, slightly sweet — absolutely addictive. But the real star? ✨ The Daiquiris. Not just “good,” not just “best in Vietnam”… these are the best daiquiris I have ever had. Perfectly shaken, ice-cold, light, bright, and smooth. You taste the care and craft in every sip. The staff deserves their own section. Friendly without being pushy, quick without rushing you, and genuinely happy you’re there. They remembered our names, checked in on us, and made us feel like regulars from the first drink. You can tell they’re proud of this place — and they should be. And the music? 🔥 On. Point. Latin beats, Cuban groove, perfect rhythm to set the mood without overpowering conversation. The playlist alone will keep you there for “just one more round.” We walked out feeling like we discovered a hidden gem — the kind of place you tell your friends about immediately, because they need to experience it too. A stylish, relaxing, and cosy cocktail bar in Saigon. The food and drinks are great and the service is superb! Highly recommended.

Cool Cuban vibe at this bar, which is located in a quiet street off Dien Bien Phu. Good tapas menu although could appear limited, but not a big negative as this is more of a bar. Great cocktail menu with a lot of signatures and rum-based drinks. Got the “Look Like Agricole” which was an elegant yet potent concoction of rum, espresso, and port tawny. Great experience overall and would recommend this for a date night.

The staffs are all friendly and accommodating. The lightings and atmosphere are superb. The food is so tasty especially the gambas! It’s to die for.

My new fav bar!!! Very charismatic with friendly and professional staff. Drinks were good. Only annoying thing was people taking too much photos with flash and talk too loud/ noisy when the band were playing.
