So I have a new hobby now ever since I started writing reviews for restaurants, and that is to try out any local lunch specials. Had their orange chicken specials, and it was delicious! Plenty of crispy, sweet, and sour fried chicken served over white rice and a side of macaroni salad. I always ordered a plate of the Hawaiian BBQ mix plate (pure deliciousness), but I ate it before I remember to take pictures. I'll definitely have to revisit this place for the pictures next time.

We usually order the meal set for 4 to 6 people when we have no time to cook especially when we have guests in the house. The meal comes with tasty and tender barbecue beef ribs and chicken katsu, 6 scoops of rice, 6 scoops of macaroni salad and 6 pieces of crab rangoon. Their service is fast and price is very reasonable.

Relaxed, informal place to enjoy some Hawaiian style food. It's always delicious and freshly made! The portions are big and we never leave hungry!

I used to really love this place but I think they've slightly gone downhill I stopped in with my brother and the food just was not what it used to be malasadas were greasy and if we're staying to eat why would you put the sugar on them and then close the lid so the sugar just steams off but that's just my opinion. Also the manapua was great size but barely any filling!

I love this spot. It's great if you are carnivore or keto. I always get the Big Protein BBQ Plate. So worth it and they give you alot of food. Service is always fast and food is always consistent.

Cashier was very friendly, clean bathroom, food came out at a reasonable speed. I fell asleep and the cashier brought me my food with utensils and napkins in the bag and poured my drink for me. Eating outside to enjoy the weather. Rice was sticky but not too wet. The ribs sweet and hot off the grill. The spam musubi was simple and delicious.

Serving is big and good for sharing. Price is reasonable.. Total bill $33.11 Chicken curry, spam misubi, pork bbq cutlet with rice. Would visit again to try more of their menu. Still, there's always a room for improvement for the dining experience.

Went here to feed my toddler and they made the chicken and veggies extra soft so it was easy to eat. Got the terri chicken bowl and son loved it. They were very nice. Will be back to try more food.

Yelp
Stopped by Lulu's hawaiian BBQ on the way home from shopping. I go by this place and have always wanted to try it. We were greeted with a smile and helped by a pleasant young man. This is a smaller restaraunt with about 10 tables to sit at. After ordering, we got our order in about 10 min. I saw they had garlic shrimp on the menu so decided to try it. When I think hawaiian and garlic shrimp, I think more along the lines of the food truck peel and eat garlic shrimp they have all over hawaii. This surprised me to open the box and it be fried shrimp. There was a big amount of chopped cabbage on the bottom of the container. The cabbage would have been good but it was raw not cooked. The shrimp was good. Just not what I was expecting. There was a large amount of rice as well. The macaroni salad was really good. We also ordered the garlic chicken. It was really good. Definitely enough food that you can have a few meals of it or split it. We also ordered a couple spam masubis. They were good but a little overloaded with rice. I would prefer a slight bit less rice. I have never seen banana Lumpia. I decided to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised that it is delicious! I enjoyed every bite of the unique dessert. Overall, this is a really good place to grab some good hawaiian food. The service is good, food is good and prices are reasonable.

Yelp
While I was shopping in the Decatur/215 area, I had decided to pick up some lunch at Lulu Hawaiian BBQ. Lulu Hawaiian BBQ is off of the 215/Decatur exit, inside a large plaza next to Habit Burger and Walmart. There is spacious amount of parking. Lulu Hawaiian BBQ offers a wide range of options such as the following Burgers Saimin Teriyaki Bowls Boba Drinks Shrimp Hawaiian BBQ Chicken Chicken Katsu BBQ Beef Loco Moco and so much more! I ended up ordering Kalua Pork and rice, for a to-go order. The check-out process was seamless. The team member at the register was helpful! The bag was packed with napkins and utensils. I brought the meal home to eat. It was packed with Kalua pork, so much that it had lasted for 2 separate meals, lunch, and dinner! The Kalua pork was delicious and flavorful. It wasn't dry! If I was looking for another quick option for Hawaiian BBQ, I would stop by Lulu's again!

Yelp
What can I say especially after a hot range day? Yup, I usually go after a day at the Clark County range. Much like a good Hawaiian BBQ place does, service is good and quick, staff is friendly and I'm pretty satisfied with the Hawaiian Sun options.

Mayzen C.

Yelp
We were intrigued by this place. We love Hawaiian food. Taste is ok, bucket list check.

Yelp
We tried the Lulu Hawaiian BBQ in North Las Vegas. It's a small casual restaurant with about 10 tables inside. You order and pay at the counter and seat yourself. We have two kinds of Hawaiian BBQ restaurants in this area. We have the kind that are "Chipotle Style" like a buffet behind glass. We also have the fresh made food to order. The food is fresh made to order here so you might have to wait a reasonable time for it to be prepared. We tried a variety of things (bbq beef, bbq chicken, fried shrimp, fried fish, spicy chicken. All the proteins were prepared well. We personally liked some things more than other things maybe due to our personal taste but everything was reasonably good. I thought the one thing that stood out was the macaroni salad. It was richer and creamier just like the way I'm used to. The portions are extra large and prices are low for what you get. The woman there taking the orders also checked on us and even brought me a bag to take leftovers home. This place did have a more authentic atmosphere than some of the other nearby Hawaiian BBQ restaurants. I'd recommend this restaurant for Hawaiian BBQ and also great value.

Yelp
This is our go to Hawaiian restaurant! If you are looking for good Hawaiian food, done right, with huge portions, then Lulu's is your place! We love to order takeout from here because by the time we get in the car and drive to pick it up (we live less than ten minutes away) it is always ready to go. Because the portions are so generous, you will likely get two meals out of one entree, I like to have this for dinner then have the leftovers for lunch the following day. If you haven't tried this place, do yourself a favor and go gets some.

Brandon B.

Yelp
Fast service and great selection of Hawaiian favorites. Ambiance is what you need to dine in or wait for your food order. I like how they have daily specials as well as new items to keep things interesting and new.

SharonLee A.

Yelp
I had a quick lunch break so needed to find a spot fast. Scoped this place out and I'm glad I came. Everything in my curry bowl was cooked fresh and tasty. Not to mention very affordable for the amount and quality you're getting.

Julie A.

Yelp
So,... We've tried a few inexpensive Hawaiian places & this one is probably the best so far. It's grub. Like good, missing-Hawaii-and-need-my-greasy-fix food. It's insanely fast. The woman who takes your order is impressive at the speed she moves from ordering behind a plexiglass wall to order fulfillment. Thai Tea? Smoothie? 8-other things? She's lightening quick! Food was out in about 5-10 minutes, bagged up for our takeout order. I've tried a few items before, typical stuff. This round I tried a new menu items they were offering. I had the Honey Chicken Katsu. It was a little unsightly, I should have paid attention to the photo of it (see attached), but ordered it on name alone. It sounded good. Was honestly not for me. The white goo, I suppose, was the honey sauce? Two bites in, I was done. Sorry, maybe tweak it to not look like, ummmmm, white sticky stuff? Taste was not good either. Like someone frosted the Katsu. (Sorry!) My husband had the low-carb lunch with a Spam Musubi on the side. Greasy, good, grub! We'll try again in a few weeks, maybe to try one of their newly advertised Family Meals. (See photo.) Seems like a good amount of food for a reasonable price! Until next time!

Yelp
This place is ******* amazing holy ******* **** ***** Come here Now NOWWWWW!!!!! NOWWWW

Yelp
Great food with great customer service. Always get an extra scoop of Mac salad, very flavorful!

Kayla M.

Yelp
Food is great people are nice and restaurant is always clean. Love this place and so do my kids!

Judy L.

Yelp
Don't order the fried saimin. It was way too sweet! I was told it was because of an ingredient they use. So change it! I was very disappointed. I was also surprised it wasn't run by people from Hawaii anymore. I'm not going back for fear they changed all the original recipes and don't know what they're doing.

Tiarra C.

Yelp
Used to love this place but recently my partner got so sick within minutes of eating it. We will not be returning sadly.

Marcial A.

Yelp
Always nice to have a spot like this close to home. The food was ready pretty quick. Everything I ordered was very tasty!

Mackenzie D.

Yelp
The meat was old and hard. There are better Hawaiian places in town, don't waste your money to go here.

John L.

Yelp
The cuisine of Hawaiian foods incorporates five styles of traditions.A cuisine fusion of foods and flavors brought to the Islands from around the world. The Boba The Catsu. The Poke. The Musubi Today's image of Hawaiian food through social appraisals enable local customers and medias to have a better understanding of and position of the whole Asian food industry. Dining at L& L is saying goodbye to old world sigma while enjoying new world fusions . Hence the Hawaiian term which means both hello and goodbye. Aloha

Carmen M.

Yelp
Good hawaiian BBQ plates. I like the mac salad that came with the plates. The portions are large and the service was fast.

Yelp
Yeah, I was out and about on Christmas Eve. Last minute gifts. Happens when you find out people you weren't expecting to show up, are showing up for the holidays. But first. Food. Ninth Hawaiian Island. Wanted food from back home. Ended up at Lulu Hawaiian BBQ. Even with the Christmas shoppers out in force, lots of parking. Same plaza as Walmart and Bed, Bath & Beyond. Friendly service. Order at the counter. Pay. Find a seat. No table service. Your order is brought out to you. At least that's how it played out for me. I saw another party come in. Find a seat and was waited on at the table. No big deal. Not to me. Only needed refills of iced tea. Got my own from the fountain. Food, surprisingly huge portions. See pics. I ordered the Mini Plate. Hawaiian BBQ Chicken and all Mac Salad. I'm still full. Chicken tender and juicy. Mac Salad, so unhealthy and good. DID NOT care for the Manapua and the Musubi. Tried the Portuguese Sausage version. For both - nothing like what I've had at home (Hawaii). It's on the menu. People must like it. It's NOT for me. I left both unfinished. Huge portions. Inexpensive. Friendly service. Plenty of parking. Hard not to be a fan. Especially when it's food from where I'm from. Served Fresh, hot and fast. To clarify, the Manapua and Musubi weren't bad as in something was wrong - my taste buds just did not care for them. The meat in the Manapua was not like I'm used to. And I should have just gotten a Spam Musubi.

Yelp
This is my very first time going to this Hawaiian barbecue location near my house and I have to say it's not bad, It's not that great, but it's okay. I ordered the Hawaiian mixed plate and my husband ordered the half and half combo with BBQ beef and ribs. Pros- Hawaii Mixed plate- the chicken, beef, Mac salad, and rice were perfect and moist with flavor. Cons- I felt like there should be more rice but my hubby and I love rice. Also the short ribs were hard to pull apart from the bone. They were also a bit dry. Pros- Strawberry boba slush- the slush part is always the best with sweet strawberry flavor. *Some of the boba was cooked perfect. Cons- *Some boba were not cooked all the way or cooked too long making it hard to chew and spit out. Also some of it hurting my teeth. Pros- Half and half mixed combo- Same as earlier with the other combo, the beef was moist and favorable. My husband loves their Mac salad. Cons- needs more rice and ribs are dry and hard to pull apart from the bone. Pros- Sesame balls- they were soft and easy to pull apart with some red beans inside is so sweet and yummy. Cons-not enough red beans, needs more lol. Overall this experience was nice and comfy for Hawaii BBQ quick service. As for my 3 star rating details. Customer Service 5 star Cleanliness- 3 star Food- 3 1/2 star Price- 3 star Needs improvement is the cleanliness of the establishment, tables were side ways and boxes of stuff are shown to the dining area while that should be in the back. Need to cook the boba and ribs better. For $40 I figure my food be cooked better and better experience. Overall it was like I said, it's ok. Would I go back sure but not for the ribs and boba.

Jocelyn C.

Yelp
Fast service. Wish they would cook the meats with the sauce rather than giving out sauce on the side in a small cup. The portion of food tho is good. Prices are reasonable.

Nap Christopher O.

Yelp
Fast serving, big portion, tasty. We ordered BBQ Mix Plate and Honey Chicken Katsu. Portions are so big that me and my wife thought that it every order is good for sharing.

Yelp
Stopped by to eat this evening. The restaurant has been mostly re-organize to support delivery and take out, but there is some very limited seating left on site. Ordered the number 35 combo and a side masubi. The staff is friendly and the food came out very quickly, I was waiting for about five minutes before my tray came out of the kitchen. The food was very tasty and well cooked, the pork had a really nice smoky flavor to it and the house macaroni salad was really tasty. The portions are generous and they give you your food in a to go container so if you don't finish it you could just close the lid and take it home. Reasonable prices and they offer delivery as well

Miguel M.

Yelp
Their food is consistently good. Nothing fancy, just well cooked everyday kinda food. This place is a good one for those nights when we are lazy or just tired! Try them out!

Christie P.

Yelp
I was so impressed with the speediness of our delivery as well as accommodating my request to substitute a few items to my liking. I had the kal bee and honey chicken katsu. The Mac salad Could've used some seasoning. All in all Lulu's will be one of my go to's for local food.

Brian F.

Yelp
burnt fried noodles and salty oily chicken katsu . no hawaiians available for service, fried noodles oily ... kimchee was good should stick to kimchee...laughing staff while food was returned

Jack W.

Yelp
The honey Katsu chicken is my favorite! The service is good and the restaurant is always clean.

Vanessa P.

Yelp
So many amazing options to choose from, but I stuck with my tried and true kalua pork meal and spam masubi. My only regret is that I didn't get the malasada. I told myself I can't eat 10 (per order) of them...but I should have at least tried!!!

Dee C.

Yelp
I have been to several Hawaiian Bbq locations already, and this one is the best! They all offer just about the same items on their menu, some specials are different. I love that they have a wide variety of Hawaiian Sun juices! Yay! The servers are very pleasant and gave excellent service. At this location you sit at the table and they come and take your order! Nice!!! The service is quick and wait time for food is great too. The dining area is kept clean which is a plus for me. I ordered the kalbi plate, my mom had bbq chicken plate, and I had to get an order of their fried sesame ball. Everything was delicious! Definitely made me feel like I was eating a plate lunch from back home! And the fried sesame ball hit the spot!!! We also had a big take out order of 3 kalbi plates and 1 loco moco plate, but, they got it out in no time!

M J.

Yelp
2 words! Not good! So bad! Loco moco gravy was so gross And I can't imagine what the heck they put on that gravy! Wondering if the owner has tried the gravy today!!! I'm A cook and I know what good food is! Even LL HAWAIIAN makes better food! Bbq chicken? More like fried! I know what bbq tastes like! Yah need to change the name to semi fried chicken bowl! Have you had bbq before? OMG! So disappointed! Change the cook or change your recipes!!! I paid $24 dollars for this food! Not fair!!!

Viviana R.

Yelp
I been struggling to find a place that sells freshly made sesame balls. If u are craving some sesame balls this is the spot!!! Delicious

Alexander C.

Yelp
Delicious food. I'm a big fan of the seafood and meat platters. Another good choice from this restaurant is cheeseburgers and French fries. They deliver the food pretty quickly. All of the seafood and meat is cooked perfectly.

Debrah D.

Yelp
Checkin our this place for lunch at around 11am. It was raining and the place was empty when we walked in. We were greeted right away and asked to sit when we said we were dining in. Basically, they'll give you table service if you plan to dine in but they still serve your food in to-go containers. I got the loco moco, malasadas and my husband got the half and half. The staff was very attentive and friendly. The food came out real quick too. I think this is my new spot to pick up Mac salad...this place has Mac that tastes real close to Bob's BBQ in kalihi Mac salad! Katsu sauce seemed a little watered down but fancy enough. Chicken katsu was alright, BBQ chicken was good although we wish it was a little more burnt lol, and the loco moco was alright too. The portion size of the rice was a LOT, but the rice was yummy - not too dry and not too sticky. Gravy could've been better. Malasadas were okay for what I've tasted around town...nothing like Leonard's but it was still worth it since I looove desserts! Overall, we enjoyed it and will probably be back to try other things!

Monique D.

Yelp
Firstly the service is amazing! They are always so kind and I've never had any problems of any sort. Secondly, quality/ quantity of food is sooooo good. The best Hawaiian food that doesn't break the bank. It has become my personal favorite spot!

Jamie G.

Yelp
We decided to order catering from Lulu for a housewarming party. We had about 20 people including kids to feed, so we ordered half pan BBQ Beef, half pan Kalua Pork, half pan fried noodles, and half pan mac salad. Everything came out super fresh and hot on time, and everyone at the party loved it. We had a lot of leftover mac salad and pork that we've been eating as leftovers -- still just as good.

Patrick S.

Yelp
Pretty good, reminds me of home (oahu) it has a L&L drive in feel. i was kinda bummed you can't sit and eat.

Natasha M.

Yelp
Flavor was not there, meat was chewy. Pricy and not worth it. The ladies attitude was terrible but I noticed she was pregnant so I'll just blame the hormones

Dave O.

Yelp
It's about average. The garlic shrimp was disappointing. Not much taste. Service was great. My wife had the combo Lau lau and garlic shrimp. No taste. We probably wont be back. We ate at the restaurant. It warm no ac or minimum ac. Was very uncomfortable.

Christopher A.

Yelp
The curry is outstanding. The last time I had this style curry was from my friend's lunch wagon in Kahaluu, HI. Mac salad is on point as well. The food took a little while, but it was worth the wait.

Malia K.

Yelp
wanted to like this place but I couldn't. Chicken Katsu was super thin and over cooked, rendering it tasteless. my garlic shrimp oddly had little to no flavor too - and the sauces they included with it didn't match seafood at all. I gave it two stars because the cashier was friendly - and she gave me a cup for ice water while I waited for my order. All in all, a disappointment.

Asia P.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I have been coming here for years for their honey chicken katsu however something was a little different this time, There was a hair in my plate, There was literally no meat on the chicken. my boyfriend ended up getting food poisoning for the first time from this place. Something has definitely changed in who cooks the food here. Customer service is ass and not as good as what it used to be. i miss the old staff. I miss the old cooks.

Stef A.

Yelp
Call in and place your order! Cheaper prices. BBQ mix plate was under $12 vs the $15 on the takeout grub hub menu. Also Misubi was $2.50 vs the 3.75$! Delicious food.

Sonia W.

Yelp
Watch out when you order shrimp dishes. I ordered spicy shrimp and it was bad. Don't get food poison!!! it tasted disgusting. Very disappointed. I won't order again from this place. I called to let them know and the person who answered the phone said. Maybe you don't like the flavors. Wow, unbelievable

Thomas D.

Yelp
I like coming here. I enjoy the food. However, I feel like I get a years worth of my sodium intake in one visit. Other than that, really don't mind coming here....in moderation.

Kyle C.

Yelp
food was mediocre. ordered a mini hawaiian bbq chicken plate. it was bland. chicken was greasy and the mac salad was not impressive at all. i also asked for a water bottle and they gave me a water cup (small styrofoam cup) so I filled it with raspberry tea instead since I had to get water from the fountain. the lady brings my food over and confronts me saying, "that's not water you have to pay." i had no issue paying for the small cup but you'd think they'd instead provide a regular sized cup since i'm buying a fountain drink now. regardless, service wasn't great and food wasn't great. wouldn't recommend, would not return.

David I.

Yelp
Too bad I cannot give a 0 star. I ordered the Fried shrimp and Saimen for $8.00. What a ripoff 3 piece of shrimp, prebreaded like the type I buy from Costco. SA few pieces of chopped green onions, broth and noodles. I can make my self with a cup or noodles (50 cents) or a package of ramen (at the most 50 cents. Entire bunch of green onions a 50 cents and the entire frozen fried shrimp for at the most $10.

Sara P.

Yelp
Omg I can't believe I've waited 7 years to try Hawaiian food!? It was just so intimidating, I didn't understand what anything was, and when I'm hungry? Forget it! Well, I spent an hour on Yelp, texting my friend on Maui, and consulting Google to get to the bottom of what all these dishes were. Now, typically I don't try new places with less than 4 stars, but the pictures of food here looked way better than other places I looked at, and that's why I chose this from the million other Hawaiian spots in town - absolutely the perfect choice! Sure, I have nothing to compare it to, and I probably won't for a long time because I don't see any reason to try another when we were so happy with our meal from here (and already have new stuff picked out to try next time!) I ended up ordering Honey-Walnut Chicken Katsu, BBQ Chicken, Kaula Pig, Egg Rolls, Pot Stickers, and the donut thingies (I forgot what they're called). It was all really good, and even better as leftovers for 5 more meals! My absolute favorite was the honey katsu, and surprisingly the mac (seriously, I threw out 3 containers as I stood over the trash trying the 4th - I couldn't believe how much I liked it, fished out the other containers and ended up finishing all of them! What the heck is it?? There's like no flavor, but also the best flavor ever? Idk but YUM!) Can't wait to try some more stuff soon

Hope S.

Yelp
This is my regular spot for amazing chicken katsu. You can get it plain, with curry sauce or coated in honey. I love all 3 options so I rotate between them all. It comes with rice and macaroni salad (yum) and there's an option for a smaller plate which I'm so glad they have. They're "regular" plate could feed a family almost it's huge. The only thing is I wish there was an option for veggies to go with it, there doesn't seem to be any veggie sides. My husband tried their sweet chili chicken and wasn't a huge fan, i tried it too. It was crunchy to the point where it was hard to eat and the sweet chili sauce taste was a bit much for me. I think I'll stick to my usual favorite here. Also, for dessert check out their malasadas.

Mannie G.

Yelp
First time coming here great experience I dint expect the portions to be this much no complaints here !!! Definitely coming here AGAIN .! Clean . Clean bathrooms Amazing customer service Great atmosphere Delicious food !!!
