Lulu's Bait Shack

Lulu's Bait Shack is a fantastic place to eat, go for drinks, or both! With it's classic Dive Bar/Bait Shack interior and very friendly environment, you'll definitely enjoy your time here! We went at a quieter time to watch some College Basketball, have some cold beer, and probably the best Burger, Lulu's Bacon Cheeseburger, that I had in Fort Lauderdale! The server was a blast, like he was one with our group of people, getting into the game with us and making sure we were well taken care of! Don't pass Lulu's by and make sure you drop in for a great meal and a great time!

A beautiful view with great service & great food. I loved the frozen drinks, gator bites & conch fritters. I used to live in South Florida so it was a real blast from the past for me.

We had such a great experience at Lulu’s Bait Shack! We stopped in for a late Friday lunch, and our waiter was absolutely the best — fun, attentive, and just added to the whole vibe. The atmosphere was super chill as we sat overlooking the busy beach from their second-floor location. (Check out our social media page if you need help finding the entrance! @TurtleNestBungalow ) The food and drinks were fantastic — exactly what you want from a classic Fort Lauderdale beach spot. It’s also very close to Turtle Nest Bungalow, making it an easy go-to for guests looking for a relaxed but memorable meal. If you’re looking for casual vibes, great food, beach views, and strong drinks, Lulu’s is a must-visit and a true local favorite. Highly recommend! 🌴🍹🌊

Excellent beach bar restaurant serving up American classics. I enjoyed my take out here twice while staying in Ft. Lauderdale. I pleasantly enjoyed their chicken nachos and bacon cheeseburger (not pictured). If you do the take out nachos, you build it yourself which I enjoyed because they didn’t get soggy in transport :) Service was welcoming and friendly. They have specials everyday and happy hour. Would come here again for a quick bite and brew!

We decided to stop in and get a bite to eat at Lulu's Bait Shack. There's nothing "shacky" about this place! The open air breeze and ocean front view are amazing! Our food was on point too! Our server was a beautiful young lady named Gabrielle, who greeted and seated us. She quickly brought the drinks that we ordered. (Guava punch and a Stella Zero beer) Hubby ordered the coconut shrimp with sweet potato fries,( it comes with regular fries) but just cost a little more for what he wanted), and I ordered the sun-kissed chicken penne pasta that arrived with some garlic buttered toasted bread rounds!! So yummy! Everything was delicious! Throughout the dinner, Gabrielle checked in to see if we were satisfied, which we were. Definitely if in the area stop by! PS...Gator bites are on the menu as an appetizer so try them as well!

We recently dined here while in the area. The location and the views were beautiful, sitting on the patio with beach views. We went for lunch and it wasn’t crowded. I highly recommend the cheese sticks, coconut shrimp, Thai crunch salad, and frozen drinks. Next time we are in the area, we will definitely return.

We were seated immediately. The conch fritters were very good with lots of conch. The Mahi tacos were great. The draft beer selection is limited but they have a decent selection of cans and bottles.

This is a pretty cool spot right on the beach! Great service! Great drinks! I had the pina colada and daiquiri swirl. It was good! The fish tacos were good. But they over sauced them. The fish and chips were good except the batter was a little sweet for my taste. But overall. Ill be back next time in town!
