Hands down, the best bar in Austin. If you're looking somewhere to enjoy a great cocktail and beautiful atmosphere, LuLu's i sthe place to be. They have fun themed nights throughout the week so there is truly something for everyone. Their cocktail list is amazing and the bartenders are super friendly. They also just remodeled and it is BEAUTIFUL ! You will fall in love with this bar.

Maritza (co-owner) and her team at Lulu’s are the nicest, most gracious neighborhood folks and we can’t wait to continue bringing friends and family to their bar. My partner and I reached out last-minute about hosting a very informal rehearsal dinner before our wedding, and the team easily and kindly reserved their patio space for us to enjoy a semi-private happy hour full of delicious drinks and great tacos from the nearby truck. When the weather got a little too hot, they were lovely and chill about us bringing our party of 12 indoors, and the bartender kept up amazingly with a lot of drink orders that all tasted fantastic. Classy and intimate bar tucked away on a busy/noisy stretch of bars, and we look forward to going back soon!

Tonight was our first visit. We enjoyed the rooftop patio. The bar itself is pretty and spacious. However, the DJ was playing way too loud for 8pm. I was disappointed in the Carajillo, the coffee was bitter and the cocktail was overall very watered down and unbalanced. We'll definitely be back regardless.

I attended the DJ made My Day-Party and had a ball!! We reserved a section since it was a group of us and it was a little awkward at first because they had an engagement event going on at the same time the day party was starting. They left but they was another engagement party scheduled but they seem to blend in more with the day party crowd so it was cool. LuLu”s is such a cute place and good for pictures. They have several single bathrooms that are gender neutral so you don’t have to wait in line and they were clean!!! The line for drinks were long but seem to go fast. They don’t serve food but there are several food trucks outside. We kept having to take our empty glasses to the bar. My only suggestion is that they should have servers to clear the tables and maybe take drink orders. The music as always was on point by DJ Hella Yella. Definitely a cool vibe away from downtown!!!

Great tasting cocktails and atmosphere. I was very excited to try this place out and was pleased to come again until I saw my credit card bill. I ordered one small palomita which the bartender said on happy hour price for $6 even if it wasn't it, then full price was $12. I got billed for $31.18 on a walked out tab that should have been 20%. So I either got someone else on my tab or they put a 150%-250% tip. I tried to call their phone number to fix the issue but the voicemail box was full. I would come back here again but would watch my charges more closely for error.

They don't serve food but there like 5 food trucks surrounded around. It's fun and relaxing at the same time. No pressure place. I actually would come by myself to decompress if you wanna listen to the 90s music which is my jam. Group or solo come and have a good time.

Cute mexican bar with excellent cocktails and an awesome food truck (currently Taquicardia). They have different events going on so check their instagram for the latest on events. I went during a drag show and the performers were fabulous. The staff was all very nice and had excellent recommendations. They also have a nice patio with heating lamps. I tried their watermelon agua fresca but made it boozy and added a Tajin rim. Their happy hour is Tuesday-Friday $2 off specialty cocktails and $1 off beer. There is a parking lot but can be hard to find a spot if you go during peak hours.

This place is absolutely beautiful. The architecture, the interior design. Perfection. Looks like something you'd see in Architectural Digest and the likes. Nice side patio bar as well as a rooftop setup. The staff are so super friendly and fun to chat with. They knock it out of the park when it comes to cocktails. Can't wait to get back!

Lulu's has a really great relaxing vibe that goes beyond the beautiful greenery and plants that are matched against neutral cool colors of modern rattan. There is even a neon sign that says Canta y no llores which means "sing, don't cry" from the Mexican anthem song called Ceilito Lindo. Once you hear someone sing that neon sign you WILL know the song. Its a common Mexican song that is played my mariachis. Nestled amongst three other bars, just off of Menchaca Rd past Slaughter Lane in South Austin, you will find the coolest bar - y'all it is literally icy cold in here as the the a/c is always pumping which is a very good thing for these Austin summers. The service is super prompt and friendly for any drink you are feeling when you come in. Check out their aquas fresas (fresh fruity waters) as they make them in-house and will compliment any spirit you are in the mood to mix it with. Tajin and lime are standard additions to each drink which makes you feel like you are in some secret beach hideaway off a Mexican beach. Parking is a thing here on the weekends as it gets full fast (remember there are other bars that share the lot too) so just take a ride share here. You can have as many drinks you would like to have and can just get home worry-free after. Besides the driveway out of the lot can be tricky as there is cross traffic on both sides you got to worry about if you want to head back up towards Slaughter and Menchaca Rd. Plus it is dark as heck out there. Checking out their blackboard at the entrance Lulu's has a themed-night every night here for both the week and weekend. The last few times we have been here they have a fantastic DJ bumping great danceable music and the vibes outside patio and upstairs patio allows you to take a break and catch up with the other friends you brought in with you. Great place to catch up with a group of friends here as there are such cute spots all inside and outside to hang.

Fun spot in south austin. Good service and tasty drinks. Make sure to visit the upstairs and see the sunset. They also have a nice covered outside patio in the first floor

I visited Lulu's during the Latin Food Festival. They were offering the cantarito with the purchase of a palomita. The tequila pour was a little light. It tasted more of soda than tequila but a refreshing drink nonetheless during a hot day. The live music upstairs was amazing and really set the tone for a fun food, music, and cultural festival. I look forward to coming back to Lulu's for their free salsa and bachata lessons on Sundays.

This place is along with the other bars within walking distance are a must go and experience. The bar has such a chill setting but at the same time great music and drinks to go along. The bar staff are always a vibe and the place in my opinion is for the more grown but still hip enough for the younger crowd. Plenty of seating area and patio that makes for a small intimate date or a large group ready to enjoy the night.

Been wanting to stop by here for awhile and we finally did during happy hour! We were planning to get dinner elsewhere, so unfortunately had to skip on the food truck (which actually looks pretty good!). Instead, we ordered two drinks, a palomita and cucumber lime agua fresca. Both were made to look super cute and were fortunately also very tasty. Also, the prices were reasonable compared to what you get closer to downtown, especially during happy hour ($2 off). The inside and outdoor spaces are very chill, modern, and give off a relaxing/vacationy vibe that I really appreciated. Would absolutely go again to try different drinks, and the food truck!

One of my favorite places to hang out with girlfriends in South Austin! The vibe is just right and the drinks are always yummy and boozy - a nice way to get the party started! My favorite is the Palomita - please get it and thank me later! If you're hungry for some good food, you're in luck because they have a food truck right outside the patio which serves some really delicious tacos! I recommend the birria! See you there after work?

SUPER CUTE PLACE!!! Newly renovated. Good simple and cute drinks. This review is really about the DANK FOOD TRUCK on the patio, Taquicardia. The quesabirria quesadilla blew my pants off. SO GOOD. Comes with delicious fluffy white cilantro rice and consome for dipping. Their guac is HOMEMADE and beautiful.... Finding good mexican food/tacos in Austin is SO hard and finding a foodtruck at a bar with cute decor and good music is all a big bonus ... wowza

Ambience: Lulu's is a hidden gem in South Austin! I was impressed by the lite and airy ambience that immediately helped me relax after a long day. The bartenders were conversational and offered great recommendations. I sat on the covered patio. The music and playlist was perfect. Drinks and Food: Lulu's has a great drink menu with lots of classics. I opted for Palomita. It was refreshing, but I wanted more citrus. I was looking forward to the grapefruit, but the taste was pretty muted. The drinks were on HH so $2 off There's a food truck outside that serves tacos, enchiladas, queso, and more. Overall: I really enjoyed Lulu's vibe! I see it as a place I'll visit often to unwind. While my drink wasn't everything I was looking for, I'm happy to give them another chance to impress!

This bar is really cute and the decor is very fitting. I enjoyed the DJ and also outside patio sitting. The bathrooms were clean. The only reason I deducted a star is because parking is very minimal and congested on a Saturday night. This place sits in between other businesses and they all share the same parking. Try to get in early if possible. I attended for a surprise birthday party and was unaware so I spent 20 mins circling the parking area to get a spot. The drinks were nice and unique. The bartender who assisted me was friendly and able to answer all my questions.

10/10 drinks! Lulu's was the perfect place for a girls' happy hour. They have a wide variety of drinks and their margarita is delicious. They have a lively ambiance and their DJs kept getting better and better as evening turned into night time. They have cute decor and a cohesive theme that meshes well with the Mexican beverage menu. It's a massive space and I loved how they have a dancing area for night time. Though it isn't their fault, Lulu's gets 4 stars from me and not 5 due to the awful parking lot outside the establishment. I was lucky enough to find a parking spot but getting out was a whole other nightmare - and I was sober! Some signs by the building would help a lot. Cars were driving in the opposite direction and had to reverse out of lot.

We were in the area and decided to pop in and try Lulu's drinks. Lulu's has the a super simple boho chic vibe & their drinks are amazing. Tried the watermelon and cantaloupe Fresca with shot of tequila and for a hot austin day it hit the spot so well. The service was great and we will for sure be back for some more drinks.

There are a lot of bars on Menchaca these days, but this one is a good addition! Lulu's is a Mexico City inspired bar with cool vibe. They offer a variety of cocktails and aguas frescas. They have a food truck located in the back and a nice roof top patio.

Lulu's is a cute, new bar that opened up behind Parlay House on Menchaca. My girlfriends and I have visited a couple times and we've really enjoyed the cocktails. The aesthetic and cocktails represent Mexico City with an Austin flair. It's an easy going vibe with good music that's not too loud since we like to visit with each other. The bartenders are friendly and they've even got boozy Aguas Frescas. Looking forward to going back and trying different cocktails.

I love the Agua Frescas, fresh and flavorful added tequila to the drinks. I tried the Watermelon and the Pineapple one. I would say drinks are solid. Did not get to try the food. Few things, the bartender charged us different amounts for the drinks claiming "happy hour" but we ordered them at the same time so that didn't make sense. Seating is very limited, wish they had more room for people to sit at. We were there when they had some drag show, which we usually love but it was honestly horrible entertainment that day.

Such a cute spot in south Austin! The service is great every time I come. It's never too packed which is nice and there's usually enough parking. I haven't had a bad drink here! My go to spot in south Austin!

Cute vibes inside - very bohemian chic. Drinks are self-order at the bar. Lines can get a bit long, so grab a seat first if you'd like. Noise level is HIGH. Could barely hear my conversation over the music and chatter. Great hangout spot. Parking lot is a little tricky to navigate so come early and snag spots. Happy hour 4-7pm.

I tried to take some family and friends on a Saturday afternoon and it was PACKED and loud. My husband and I went on a Friday afternoon and it was empty (but it was about to rain). Either way, know you could get either experience but the interior is so beautiful. They're kid friendly (win win). I even saw one family bring their portable high chair and clamp it to the table (genius). They have some board games, and a great food truck and even better cocktails. Beautiful bar. Would be good for a date or a hang. Stoked to have them in south austin!

Came here for a drink, it was great but could be a bit better! The service and ambiance of the place however was very nice, I sat outside after receiving my drink and wasn't disappointed.

Such a cute spot! Their parking is a pain so be prepared to potentially walk far. Their also unfortunately is not a ton of seating but that was only an issue because we had a group of 8 on a Friday night. The music is loud but good vibes. The food truck outside was delicious, I loved all the tacos I got. It is all counter service but everyone was very nice and helpful.

This bar a a little hidden. It's right behind parlay. It has a a good size parking lot. I loved the interior. Such a nice clean Mexico City vibe. I enjoyed 2 watermelon frecas and man they were delicious. I want on a Tuesday evening and the food truck had Al pastor tacos for 1.99. They were amazing! Fairly good sized blue corn tortillas. I also ordered more tacos and guacamole to go. The guacamole was fresh and you get three big scoops. The chips are the good kind too. My friends came here for a rnb night and said they had a great time. Can't wait to come back!

I really loved this spot! We planned a surprise birthday party for my friend & this was the PERFECT spot to host it. There was a DJ playing the hottest hits & the cocktails were flowing. They have plenty of seating inside and a patio to enjoy the summer days! I think this spot would be perfect to impress your date, meet up friends, and catch a cocktail after work! There's also a food truck right out side the patio that has GREAT FOOD!

Ambiance is soothing and invigorating at the same time. They have salsa dancing at times They have great food trucks in the vicinity They have humble and friendly owners I would give it a try if I were you. I do not work there. I just really enjoy it. Salud! jw

Cute light and bright bar. Picnic style tables indoors. When I was there the live music was too loud for the space but otherwise nice vibe.

My favorite spot in far south Austin. Great cocktails. I prefer to go early before they bring in DJ because it's way too loud. Otherwise they have a nice little shaded patio and a great food truck our back.

Came for 1/2 off Micheladas since it was posted on Instagram. We came and were told by bartenders there was no such deal. Was offered to talk to a manager but I shouldn't have to go through all that stress. Regardless, they are advertising things that obviously don't exist just to get people to come in. Will not be back. To management: make sure your staff is on the same page, otherwise delete your posts. Your deceiving people for money. Disgusting.

Lulu's is unmatched! As an Austin native, I can confidently say you can't find these vibes anywhere else. From the door guys, bartenders, to the owners, the service is top tier! The cocktails are quality and you never have to question your liquor to mixer ratio. They hold different events and every one we've been to has been a great time! The inclusivity is something you don't always find around Austin. But Lulu's does an amazing job of making sure anyone feels welcomed. The food truck has authentic Mexican food choices, you can't go wrong with. The outside patio is perfect to hang out at with your pup. We can't wait for upper level balcony to be finished. And last but certainly not least, the bathrooms are ALWAYS clean!! Do yourself the favor and get there ASAP!

Loooove the agua frescas! A mocktail win!! The vibe is immaculate- love the decor and the general ambiance of the space and will def be back. Went for the loveline drag show they hosted and it was SO fun! Super unique, funny, top tier performances (Bobby Pudrido, Travis Randy Travis and more!) and one of the best djs in town (la morena). It was super busy bc of the show but the bartenders did a great job handling it and we still got drinks quickly. Can't wait for the next loveline!
