💃🏻 Spectacular spot in Energy Park! 🕺🏾
The pork and pineapple in the al pastor tacos were deliciously charred, making for a mouthwatering first bite. 🌮 I also tried a barbacoa huarache for the first time and was very happy with that—a layering of meat, beans, and salsa on top of a crispy, hand-rolled round of masa. 🩴 Unsure of how to approach it, I had to ask for a knife and fork. But In Googling, I learned it’s a street food with no right way—rip it, scoop it, whatever. For the last few bites, I folded the masa and made something like half-open face sandwich, half-pizza/taco…anyway…!
Great quality food. The staff are very friendly, helpful, and approachable too. I hope they keep it up as customers flood in, and I’ll bet they will. Very new as of March 2024—they were still working on stocking napkins 😅. The atmosphere is bright with ample seating.
I highly recommend this spot if you’re in the area looking for a hearty bite. They have special items on the weekends too, like red pozole soup. Oh, and very reasonable prices. I hope to be back soon. ¡Gracias Lulu’s! 🪩
