Food is ok but the portions are tiny and the prices are absurd. The dude running the place gave me the impression I wasn't welcome there. $3 for 1.5oz of watered down salsa is absurd. $5 for a bottle of coke? Literally went right next door and got one for $2.39

Found this restaurant randomly. Was taken by surprise by how fresh and hot the food came out. We enjoyed a carne asada burrito, birria tacos and carne asada fries. Definitely stopping by again. Staff was extremely kind, welcoming and attentive.

💃🏻 Spectacular spot in Energy Park! 🕺🏾 The pork and pineapple in the al pastor tacos were deliciously charred, making for a mouthwatering first bite. 🌮 I also tried a barbacoa huarache for the first time and was very happy with that—a layering of meat, beans, and salsa on top of a crispy, hand-rolled round of masa. 🩴 Unsure of how to approach it, I had to ask for a knife and fork. But In Googling, I learned it’s a street food with no right way—rip it, scoop it, whatever. For the last few bites, I folded the masa and made something like half-open face sandwich, half-pizza/taco…anyway…! Great quality food. The staff are very friendly, helpful, and approachable too. I hope they keep it up as customers flood in, and I’ll bet they will. Very new as of March 2024—they were still working on stocking napkins 😅. The atmosphere is bright with ample seating. I highly recommend this spot if you’re in the area looking for a hearty bite. They have special items on the weekends too, like red pozole soup. Oh, and very reasonable prices. I hope to be back soon. ¡Gracias Lulu’s! 🪩

I went with a work friend for the first time today. We both really enjoyed our food. I had the quesabirria, which was different than I have had before as the tortilla was not dipped then fried like I thought it would be, but it was still very good. My friend had the chicken tacos, and he said they were the best that he had in quite a while. It is counter service to order, then they give you an order number and bring it out to you. They were pretty quick, which was nice since it was a work lunch. I am looking forward to going back for breakfast sometime soon as they had a nice breakfast selection. Really want to try their chilaquiles!

Prices are on the steep side for what you get. The food was mediocre, and the chips were terrible. We paid for chips and guacamole as an app, and the chips were clearly just dumped out of a bag and stale. Disappointing.

I'm so happy to have this Mexican restaurant in the neighborhood! I ordered a barbacoa burrito, and it was extremely flavorful and delicious. The service was also incredible!

What a hidden gem! I came here with my husband and two kids. Everyone loved their food. It’s super authentic and delicious. I will definitely be coming back again.

New restaurant opened up near us, so we decided to try it. Got an Al Pastor taco, breakfast burrito and a breakfast bowl. Taco was a well done street taco, could eat a dozen of those bad boys. Breakfast burritos was tightly packed with perfectly cooked eggs, meat of your choice, beans and cheese, got guac on the side. Could be a little bigger for the price. The bowl was loaded with guac, potatoes, cheese, eggs and meat of your choosing. Could use some more seasoning. Overall we will be back for more menu items because everything looked fresh and delicious.

Yelp
So happy I tried Lulus! The food was good, fresh and delicious. I went in the middle of the afternoon for a late lunch/early dinner, and the service was really fast! The restaurant was bright with natural light and clean. It's a good neighborhood spot, and I'd definitely go back! - Parking lot - Quick service - Lots of seating - Giant burrito!

Yelp
Good Mexican food. Plenty of off street parking. Service is great. You might drive past this place and not even notice it. But it is worth stopping in. Yelp is saying it closed earlier than they do. They are open until 10PM (at least as of 7/11/2025. I had the street tacos with asada and chorizo. My finance had the asada fries. We took the food as takeout. We ordered online. Food was ready right when they said. I got there a few minutes early and about 2 minutes after I got there they brought it out of the kitchen.

Yelp
Service was good, food was good. I do not like the parking lot as its only one way in. Food wasn't too bad, and I wish they had better desert options. However I liked the street tacos and will stop by another time to try more items on the menu.

Yelp
For quick and easy Mexican food this was a great new place that opened! They've been open since February but hasn't gotten too popular yet. Recommend checking it out and supporting a new local business Location/Ambiance: Not in an over popular spot, definitely closer to the como and st Anthony neighborhoods for a quick and easy dinner if you're not feeling up to making it. Place was clean, nothing super eye catching when you walked in but it was built to be more of a quicker sit down place, so it worked for us! Service: We only interacted with person behind the counter and he was the one who brought our food out. He was very kind and helpful with questions. There was a power outage in the neighborhood while everyone was eating and he was calm and apologetic. Food: Food was delicious and flavorful. I got the Barbacoa burrito and my husband for the street tacos. I love that they brought the salsas in squeeze bottles, so you could decide how much you want in it. They also had a ton of imported Mexican drinks you could buy too. Menu was larger than expected, so we will back to try other items. Definitely would be a good place to do Uber eats/door dash.

Yelp
This is Mexican. Not Tex Mex. Not American Mexican. Loved Loved Loved it. Everything was fresh, made to order. Had Alhambra, burritos, birria tacos and meat tacos, chips. Everything was super good and freshly prepared. Just a counter to order. Simple place, ample parking. Clean too. Just really liked it and look forward to going to it again.

Yelp
Burrito was okay. The distribution of the stuff in the burrito was a bit off. Some bites had a lot of rice and no meat while others have too much meat and not other condiments. Being from California, I have yet had a Mexican place in Minnesota that is as good as the Mexican food from CA. Staff was friendly though. Also, I had my order to-go, so not sure if that affects the taste.

Yelp
Huevos Rancheros. Eggs just right. Sauce had just the right kick. Food came fast on a Sunday morning. Good value at $8. The refritos were cold.
