Lumberjacks Restaurant - North Las Vegas

We've driven past this restaurant everyday for the past 4 months and this weekend we decided to stop and came in for breakfast. Not disappointed at all. As soon as you walk in, it's like you're no longer in Vegas. It feels like a log cabin in the mountains. Themed decor and the staff all had great attitudes. Seated at a booth, our server came over promptly and got our drinks. The hot chocolate was made with love. So delicious. The menu for food has so many options but not over whelming. I saw the lunch options and almost forgot I was there for breakfast. For our breakfast, we first ordered the churro donut holes. Very sugary and sweet. Great shareable starter for breakfast. Our meals were the new burrito with a side of browns and the chicken fried steak with sourdough toast. The food was phenomenal. I definitely want to come back for lunch and try one of the many good looking dishes they have. 10/10 highly recommend.

Ordered the avocado toast on Sourdough bread with hash browns. *Not an actual photo of the food served at this location. Simply used as a reference* The bread was not toasted in the slightest nor was the meal seasoned at all. However, our server was very pleasant the entire visit. Will visit again and try something different 🥰

This place is wonderful! The service is amazing, the food is delicious and massive we had so much food to take home with us. We absolutely loved it here. Highly recommend.

Lunch with Uncle- retired Army Master Sergeant. Kudos & respect to the establishment for their military discount. Loved the coffee, made from freshly ground coffee beans on premises. Jackie was our waitress. Uncle said, "She deserves a five star for her positive attitude, number of times she came to the table, delivering hot food, answering every request quickly. The food was good - a solid lunch of nice portions. She gets a 20% gratuity. I withhold one star because the restroom wasn't sanitary." I am guessing he went in after the 4 yr old & 3 other brothers sitting next to us came back to the table, but you don't correct your uncle, nor a Master Sergeant. The facility had ample parking, seating inside and intriguing menu items. I've heard of these southern dishes but never tried them (pics). I'll be back. I could take a gallon of that coffee home! It was delicious. I think banana bread french toast was a mouth watering thought. Next time.

The place was great. Prices were reasonable. General manager - Ruben attended my table by the end of my lunch and kindly asked for feedback. I promised to leave a review and forgot to do so in time, i apologize. But the food was delicious, staff was very kind and caring. Thank you, team Lumberjack’s! Thank you Ruben. Enormous portions ( of exceptional food ) and a very attentive server. Talk about a recipe for success ! I ordered a Country Fried Steak Omlette with a side of hash browns ( I asked for them to be crisper than normal ) and biscuits and gravy. I was only able to get through the omlette and hash brows and two bites of the biscuit and gravy before I had to cry "uncle" and give up. This was a *LOT* of food but yet it was hard to stop eating because it all tasted so good. The waiter came back several times to check on us and get extra drinks as needed -- he was available but wasn't intrusive whatsoever. Whenever I come out to Las Vegas again I definitely would want to hit this place, especially if I needed a big breakfast and wasn't going to have lunch. The excess food served me well as my wife and I then had to go to the airport and spend 8 hours waiting to catch our flight back to Wisconsin only to have that flight cancelled -- if I hadn't had the portion size from Lumberjacks earlier in the day, I definitely would have been "hangry" before leaving the airport, that's for sure !

Great place to have breakfast. What makes this place pretty good is the many, many options to choose from. Everything we've had so far has been really tasty

My family and I decided to enjoy and nice quiet evening here on a Thursday around 6pm. We had 10 in our group. It was very slow,therefore we were greeted easily and taken care of with no major issue. The only reason I gave 4 star is due to the lack of seating for a larger group and the mix up of how we wanted our burgers cooked. There were two main tables in the middle of the restaurant, we would have liked to sit face to face at the same table. Understanding that not all restaurants are available to do so. However we made it work! The service was very caring, and really quick. We ordered,and I don't even think it took 15 min for all 10 of us to receive our food. Half the table got western burgers, which were amazing . And other half got breakfast foods. Aside from some of us receiving the wrong temperature of burger this food was satisfying. Infact I quoted I'll take this over dennys and ihop any-day. Pancakes were huge, bigger than my face! Fries and potatoes are cooked/seasoned well. Some of the employees were even curious to ask about our family. And I enjoy when people actually express themselves or are curious enough to ask questions! To be engaged is the absolute thing to do when there is time to do so. So thanks Lumberjacks! You guys did an awesome job.

Food: was not worth it. Chicken fried steak. Salty and mashed potatoes were just above lukewarm. Two stars Ambiance: four stars, it was Lumberjack after all. Service: The best part of being there. Five stars

Carla was an exceptional server!! Food was huge! Cheers to the cook!! That food was on point! Huge comforting portions cooked as they should be! Fast and efficient made sure we got to our show on time. A++++ I order a lot of doordash from here too and it's always terrific! Thanks for everything y'all! See you again soon.

The eating area is quite spacious and quite comfortable. The music was low enough that you did not have to scream over. Our waiter seemed to be overwhelmed with what was going on. Ordered the turkey dinner. Husband ordered the hamburger. This is my first time ever visiting this place. Pepsi product which is down fall for me, so Dr. Pepper is was. The seating area was very clean and noise level acceptable. Somebody else's food was almost delivered to us however the server realized it wasn't our order and continued to the correct table. All in all, this being my first time here i was quite happy with my server Ramiro.

Freaking amazing food. I paid almost 25 for the biggest breakfast I have been served. Everything was as ordered. Cannot even catalog all the delicious flavors. My wife's plate,that I tried, was delicious. Our server was totally on point. We will be back.

It was busy, but they sat us right away. My friends and I must have timed it just right! When we left there were several groups waiting. I had the awesome Lumberjacks Mess! It's a whole lot of food! It is so tasty though! The gravy was the best I have had in a long time. The hashbrowns were crispy even with gravy! I have no words with how good the biscuits were!! It's a great neighborhood place.

Nice place, plays good music, comfy seats. Clean restrooms! Service was excellent and helpful. Had the little jack burger which was very tasty with sweet potato fries. Spouse had the chicken fried steak dinner which is large and was enjoyed. Just a bit pricier than I would expect.

Got seated fast. But our waiter needs to switch to decaf. Poor guy was running around. He started to give us the wrong food, before realizing it was the table infront of us. When the food was delivered it was fresh and warm. The hamburger I had was good sized. You could taste that it was cooked on a grill. The fries were ok and a good portion. The inside of the place is done up to look like a log cabin.

Food is great Can't order food to go over the phone. Service amazing. I'm highly allergic to bleach and thats how they clean bathrooms. Which means it's clean. As soon as I had a reaction they brought me wate, ashed of i was ok and brought my food out

It was so good I actually went twice last time I was in Vegas. I've got my favorite go-to off strip breakfast spots in Vegas, but we were staying pretty close to Lumberjacks, so we decided to stop by. We were a pretty large group of 11 people, with several kids, but they handled this without any issues. We didn't wait very long to be seated, and once we were seated, our waitress took our drink orders. I believe the waitress was Jay. She went above and beyond both times were visited, and provided absolute top-notch customer service. The first time I got the California omlette , and the second time, I got the Big Jack's skillet. The California omlette was very good, and the potatoes it came with were nicely seasoned. The Big Jack's skillet that I got, the second time I went, was excellent. It was rich and hearty and had incredible flavor. This will be my go-to order moving forward. I read some of the previous reviews and was a bit hesitant to try Lumberjacks, but I was definitely pleasantly surprised. If you're looking for a fancy place for breakfast, this is not it. If you want good food, then come here. The service was excellent, and the food was excellent. I will be back next time I'm in town for sure.

Ambiance nice and interesting. Traveled 18 miles for the chicken sausage and was told it was not served on weekends?? We have gotten chicken sausage there many times on the weekend in the past. I even offered to pay extra. Were told the new manager ?? would not allow the sale of chicken sausage on weekends. You just lost what was a loyal customer. Service today was very good.

Food not so good, the service was great so that made up a bit for the food. Prices a bit steep for what you get. It is a cute place with nice ambiance reminded me of a few places in the PNW. I know I wont be back.

I had been curious to try this returns due to the large lumberjack outside and it did not disappoint. Our server was very friendly and attentive and was well versed on the menu. We went on a Sunday after church and the wait was minimal. We were able to order and dine in a very short time span. The breakfast was a little pricey in comparison to mom and pop type places, but it was definitely worth the money. Asked for shelled eggs or you will get powdered ones. The French toast was really good and probably some of the best we've had in a long time.

Breakfast: waiting list...but was pretty fast seating us. Service was fast, coffee was hot and food was really good (and good size portions). Clean place, clean restrooms.

Once again, another great experience. Since we have been coming we look for Stephanie or Carla in the evenings. These 2 ladies already know what kind of drinks we want, and before we have even sat down, they have our usual drinks waiting for us. These 2 ladies have left such an impression on our hearts. Thank you management for hiring such an amazing crew. The service is on point and the food is always more than our bellies can handle. I'm not complaing tho, don't change the portion size at all. This is exactly what we want and look forward to when we dine at Lumberjacks. We have never been disappointed and I know we never will as long as you keep hiring people like Stephanie and Carla. They are the main reason we keep coming back

Love the decor. Great service. Food delicious Ordered coffee and can in a big mug. Very good, not too strong. Ordered the applewood bacon breakfast with scrambled eggs, fruit and biscuits and gravy. Bacon cooked perfectly, nice and crispy. Scrambled eggs fluffy. Huge biscuits. Gravy, very good too. Couldn't eat the other half. Hubs had the steak and eggs with hash browns. Steak cooked perfectly over medium. Over easy eggs, can't go wrong with those. I would have given them 5 stars but when we asked about the Military/Veteran discount, they stated they couldn't do it since no managers/owners were not working.

Looking for great food? A whole lot of food? Reasonable pricing for what you get. Look at the Lumberjacks for your next breakfast, lunch or now open for dinners.

Last time I got to go to lumberjacks was about 3 years ago in Susanville California. The one down here just recently started doing dinner . Taste just as good as it did there . Great service good food . We will be back

This is a chain located along the west coast. I've eaten at the susanville and Vegas stores. The food is consistently good and the portions are good. I highly recommend the breakfast offerings, the chicken fried steaks and eggs were great. I'm looking forward to hitting this place for dinner and check out that side of the menu.

Decent food, horrible service. Paid $43 for mediocre food and backhanded comments. Our waitress Stefanie kept making comments about the food my mom ordered. We ordered the axemans sampler, which includes: flapjacks, French toast, and a cinnamon roll. Of course we were going to split it and take the rest home. Yet our waitress made so many passive aggressive comments everytime she would walk by. Making feel both of us feel fat. I just can't believe she would make so many unnecessary comments when she believed she was being friendly. The comments she made: "Whoah, you really like breakfast sweets" "That's a lot of carbs" "Hope you have a big appetite" "I was waiting for that (when we asked for a box" And finally "wow you guys did good, you have SOME left" Hurtful and disappointing experience. Walked out of their feeling put down and judged. Overall the place was clean, French toast was good, but not worth the judgement. I'll go back when their employees learn some manners.

Breakfasts are large portions, taste great, and the service is terrific - all in a comfortable environment. The other night I did try them for DINNER as well and was blown away with their rib platter. The meat literally falls of the bone. You may also want to try the Country Fried Steak. Best place for "comfort" food.

My family and I devoured our plates. The food we ordered was largely portioned and delicious. I got the garden omelette with a side of country potatoes and was not surprised with how stuffed I got. The amount of cheddar cheese was perfect and the potatoes had a nice crisp yet soft in the middle. I took a couple bites of a pancake which was made with sweet cream and that easily could have been split between 3 people. My dad got the chicken fried steak and although I didn't taste it, it was gone within minutes. The breakfast altogether had zero complaints and came out within about 15/20 minutes. I would recommend coming here with friends or family. The wait can be long depending on the day but definitely worth it. My family were lucky to only wait a couple minutes as we came at the end of the morning. Next time, we might even get one the pies displayed in the windows at the front.

This was my second time there. The food was amazing. The staffs/waiters there amazing at there job. It's sometimes a 10-15mins wait cause this place is always busy but the wait is worth it. The dinning area is amazing the theme is like where people who works on cutting giant trees and build houses with lumbers go to eat breakfast.

I try to give this place many chances. Every time I go the place it seems there is a long wait when it's not even full or busy. I tried to order to go this time. Probably 6-8 tables total. Two different tables come AFTER I attempt to make an order. I get told to wait for a server while they get seated. Cool fine with that. However both of those tables get their orders taken before me while I'm stuck waiting. After 15 mins I just walked out because it was clear to go orders are not important to them. I can't wait till they allow me to call in an order so I'm not stuck waiting endlessly for a to go order.

New owner Chris greeted us and cared that we had a good experience. Food was great!! Big portions and cooked great! Jaye, our waitress, was so funny and the service was next level. Service makes or breaks my experience, even more than food quality. Highly recommend the spot. Dave

Well when I got here I waited a min to be seated and it wasn't busy at all. I ordered a garden omelette with no onion and a pancake. Got my omelette and I should've just ordered a bell pepper omelette. And the potatoes were covered in bell peppers. I waited another 10mins for a terrible pancake. Service was good. But I don't think I will be back.

Went here for dinner for Father's day. It didn't disappoint. The food and service were awesome. Our server Carla was the icing on the cake! She was very personable and made sure we were satisfied! 10/10 would recommend going here! (No pictures. It was so good I forgot!)

Went to lumberjacks today and the staff was kind and very quick. Food tasted great as well. We will definitely be coming back again.

My in-laws like this place so, it is a stable whenever we visit them. They are all in on their theme, don't judge for that. You can find all of the usual breakfast fare and the portions are large - you aren't going to leave here hungry. The real standout is the service, it is consistently good, in the three years of visits we have never had bad service. This morning was different and in the best way. Justin set a new bar and was so funny, attentive, and just friendly about taking care of us.

Ambiance good for a diner type restaurant. Service imixed. Sometime good sometimes bad. Last visit waitress told me you will no longer be serving Half and Half. Therefore we will nor return. Hard to believe??

We came from Los Angeles to visit family. We decided to come to Lumberjacks since it's close to the family home. Super nice staff and the food was amazing. Our waitress Erin B. Was super amazing and attentive. Definitely will be visiting when we visit Las Vegas .

The ham we order for breakfast was way under cook (raw). The hashbrowns were cold. And a very over cook easy eggs. Very disappointing, but as we were when we got home and my daughter tasted the hamburger we order to go. It was chard. Tasted like if they cleaned the grill with that meat and just put it in the hamburger. Very upsetting for a 16 dollar burger. I do not recommend this place.

When me and my family walked in we were greeted with a wonderful smile...Our servers name was Jay and she was amazing! This was actually my first time at establishment, and the food was pretty decent. The French toast actually was the best thing in my opinion. My niece had the skillet, to me it was under seasoned, my brother had the chicken fried steak...that definitely was under seasoned! I had country potatoes that was good, and everything else that was ordered was pretty average! Will I be back again? maybe! The service was on point so there's a good chance I will be back again...the aesthetics was what it was. I'm not sure what the vibe was supposed to be, but it's a cool place to bring your family.

Tried placing an order over the phone for my lunch break so I can eat and they told me they do not do to go orders unless you are in the store also said they do not do your online orders. What kind of establishment is that, I can't order ahead?? I'll take my business somewhere else.

Huge food portions. I love this place. They are trying their best to stay in business. It's nice to go somewhere other than Applebee's or chillis.

We stumbled upon this gem because another place we were goi f was closed. And let me tell you, it didn't disappoint. There was a short 10min wait, but there was a sign that advises due to short staffing there would be a longer wait time. Which we were ok with. Once seated our server Jackie was really nice. We each ordered something different the food portions were very large. I couldn't eat half of it. And the prices were amazing. I would definitely go back here.

There seemed to be a staffing issue right off the bat. There were two groups ahead of me, a party of six, and a party of two. The party of two was seated after about a minute or so. After a few minutes, the party of six left. I'm not sure how long they had been waiting, they were here already when i arrived. While I was waiting, I was advised that they were taking cash only because the credit card system was down. Two groups that came in after me were seated before me. After waiting about 25 minutes, I left. Never going back.

First, let's start by saying that we decided to try a new place in the area. I had seen an ad for Lumberjacks and thought we should try it. It was the first of many mistakes. We arrived at about 6:15pm and the restaurant was extremely empty. We were sat at a table and Carla R. took our drink order and appetizer of onion rings. In about 5 minutes later, Carla brought out our onion rings. I had asked for extra ranch dressing. This is where it started going down hill. We didn't get extra ranch or even the drinks that we ordered. Carla came over to take our order and I advised that we didn't have our drinks or extra ranch. She ran back to the back and brought out our drinks and left without taking our order or bringing us ranch. We finished the onion rings, and Carla came to clear the basket and we told her that we were ready to order and she said ok and left us. She came back at 6:46pm to take our order and I requested to get our check which took another 5 minutes to get. There were a total of 5 tables with most if not all that had their food so I am unclear what the issue was. Carla and the hostess had time to talk up front by the hostess stand and they had time to sit down and speak with what appeared to be a regular. The hostess was constantly at the regular table and not helping Carla. It is my recommendation to everyone to stay away from this place. It isn't worth the wait and poor service. If I could give a zero star, I would but I am required to give a star.

Lumberjacks is now open for dinner. The new owners really care about the food they serve and customer satisfaction. We have eaten there twice since they started serving dinners. The menu is great. It covers all types of food. If you go there early (2pm to 5pm), they have an early bird menu with a great selection and reduced pricing. Meals for $9.99. A varied selection of food. The food is fantastic. Be sure you are hungry, the dinner selections are large. We had to take food home. The staff are very friendly and attentive. They make your dining experience even better than any restaurant we've eaten. We loved their breakfasts and went every week. Now that they are open for dinner, you have to give them a try. You won't be disappointed.
