Comfortable local setting on a tranquil side street. The grilled iberico pork and the toasted bread with burrata and tomato were very good. The baked cheesecake was a great finish to the meal. Simple recipes with very hearty and homey feeling. Fantastic service. Would highly recommend.

Lumbre had creative food, delicious wine and excellent service. During our time in Spain, we have been looking for food that went a bit further than good basic ingredients served in small plates. Lumbre delivered a set of dishes that were well thought through, good portions, beautiful (not over salted) flavour and well timed in their delivery. We started with a fennel and potato soup topped with wonderful fried whole shrimp. We paired this with a phenomenal white wine. Our mains were the octopus and the low temp chicken. We finished with a dark chocolate mouse with mandarin ice-cream. On the menu there were several of the traditional staples that sounded excellent. Overall, the food was delicious, it was very fairly priced and I would recommend this to anyone wanting to try exceptional food in a relaxed setting.

Wonderful low-key spot in Casco Antiguo, just opened up recently but worth a visit! Friendly staff, nice ambiance, and good food... What more can you ask for?
