Lume West Village

Lume truly exceeded expectations with its impeccable service and incredible atmosphere. Our server, Alfredo, deserves special recognition, he was not only attentive but genuinely warm and made the entire dining experience feel personal.The manager, Nayara, was equally impressive, overseeing everything with such grace and professionalism. His diligence and kindness elevated the evening, ensuring everything was perfect from start to finish. The food was delicious. The ambiance is ideal for a cozy date night or a fun evening with friends. Highly recommend making a reservation!

Recently had dinner at Lume with some friends and it was an absolutely wonderful experience from beginning to end. The service was great, ambiance was perfect and the food and drinks were delicious. They did not rush us and let us enjoy our time which is so rare for restaurants in this area. The standout for me was the meatball, one of the best I’ve ever had. The pastas did not disappoint- we went with the cacio e pepe and the short rib bolognese. The scallops were fresh and the peppercorn sauce on the steak was delish. Lume is lively and fun! What a great addition to the west village and I can’t wait to return.

Seriously such a perfect gem in the WV. Service was impeccable, our server Alfredo was the sweetest and most diligent. We ordered an assortment of cocktails, the short rib ziti, the artichoke salad, the rice balls, the honey ricotta focaccia, fries and tiramisu and everything was perfect. The artichoke salad was my personal favorite. The tiramisu was not traditional but the chocolate sauce on top was wonderful and it was a perfect light dessert. The ambiance is perfect for an intimate date night or a girls night dinner. Only thing to mention is it’s a little snug, so definitely make a reservation if you have a party of 4+.

Lume in the West Village has a lot going for it — stylish design, great lighting, good music, and an overall cool vibe that makes for a nice dining atmosphere. The service is very friendly, but unfortunately, the place is severely understaffed. Passing the order was a waiting game, our food took 40 minutes to arrive the beer I ordered never showed up. The food itself was fine. Generous portions, but nothing particularly memorable. It’s the kind of meal you enjoy in the moment but wouldn’t recommend to your friends. What really stood out, and that’s a red flag in my view, was the state of the restroom. Dirty, pee and toilet paper on the floor, and clearly not maintained. Small details like that make a big difference. Lume has the potential to be a great spot, but right now, it feels like they’re struggling to keep up.

Great spot (atmosphere is Amazing!) - but instead to go for dinner, I would rather go for drinks AND the focaccia!!!

Great atmosphere, amazing drinks, super attentive and friendly staff can’t recommend enough. They had unfortunately double booked us but gave complimentary Prosecco whilst we waited at the bar. Can’t fault them in any way, + possibly the best focaccia I’ve had in a long time. 10/10

The atmosphere is warm, the food is exceptional, and the service ties everything together. Flamur was a big part of what made the night memorable. Attentive without being overbearing, he made thoughtful recommendations that felt natural, not scripted. Whether it was a perfect wine pairing or a dish we might have overlooked, his insight added to an already fantastic meal. Will be visiting again soon!

Love this new neighborhood spot in the West Village. Service was great. This cozy spot is a great Italian addition to the WV. Drinks are good too.

First time dining at Lume on Friday night and we've already made a reservation to come back. Restaurant: Great ambiance for a West Village Italian restaurant (dimly lit, but warm), good spot for a date night or dinner with close friends. The service was excellent -- Alfredo was attentive and personable, and clearly knowledgeable about the menu and his recommendations. Drinks: A lot of interesting cocktails on the menu, the Vesper Highline was one of the better martinis I've had. Good selection of wine at reasonable prices, I enjoyed the Super Tuscan. Food: Truly outstanding. We split the arancini ai porcini, bruschetta con stracciatella, rosemary focaccia, short rib bolognese, goat cheese cavatelli, and hanger steak. The bruschetta was one of the best I've ever had in the US or Italy -- next time we'll need to each get our own order. Our pastas were a nice balance -- the cavatelli was simple and light, while the short ribs were tender and flavorful. Overall, a great addition to the neighborhood and an immediate favorite. We can't wait to come back and try the rest of the menu!

A few friends and I dined here last Saturday. The restaurant was very packed and we had to wait outside a bit before being seen by a hostess. Upon entry, the inside of the restaurant was gorgeous! The lighting was very moody and had a romantic feel. We waited an eternity to be seated because the party before us stayed way past their reservation time. We were offered champagne while we waited which was nice. After awhile, the wait became ridiculous. The hostess did speak to the party but they were in no rush to leave. In my opinion, it is the responsibility of the restaurant to ensure reservations are upheld and to enforce the time limit as necessary. I understand not wanting to upset any customers but it was downright ridiculous that we waited 45+ minutes to be seated especially since the time limit was repeatedly sent to us via text upon reservation. Once we were seated, the rest of the evening was smooth sailing. Alfredo was our server and was very friendly. We ordered the cacio e Pepe and branzino. We all enjoyed our dishes and would return to try others! Despite a rocky start to our evening, we still enjoyed our visit to Lume and would return in the future.

Their FOCACCIA's are to die for! Goat cheese cavatelli is a must try.. Love the cozy ambiance. Service was quick and easy. Nicely located in West Village.

Service only--we waited more than 30 minutes past our reservation time with the promise of a table "soon" and were never sat. The hostess was rude and unphased / unapologetic about the wait. Finally, spoke to a manager after 20 minutes past the reservation and he apologized, gave us champagne and again assured us "soon" we would be sat. Another 10 minutes walked by, and although there were empty tables, we were not given a table. We got up to leave and the manager didn't apologize and looked at the ground instead of speaking to us and making right of a bad situation. The couple next to us at the bar also waited half an hour past their reservation time too! With the rudeness we experienced, we will not go back.

Stopped in today to this cute little bistro while walking by and so glad we did! It's super adorable either way great vibe, really friendly service, and fabulous food. We got the Caesar salad, omelette and side of roasted mushrooms for brunch. Definitely plan to come back for drinks after Dry January and also for their homemade pasta!

Flamur was great--I really enjoyed the food and drinks. The place has a cozy atmosphere, making it a nice spot to relax. The service was great, and everything was well-prepared. I would definitely visit again!

Beautiful place. Staff is very friendly and food is also very good. Went there for a glass of wine and ended up having dinner.

Love the vibe in here for drinks. Perfect lighting, decent noise control, and really unique art and decor. Had a great cosmo with attentive service sitting at the bar!

Alfredo our waiter was so nice and friendly and the bartenders Danny and Maylene were fun and attentive! A really great new spot in NYC with good vibes and drinks.

Such a cute and friendly spot in the West Village. Great ambiance for a drink/date night. We came for one drink and stayed because it was too good to leave!

Very tasty cocktails and hanger steak with peppercorn sauce. Good ambience and service as well.

Food was great. Service was great. Vibes were great. Allen was great. We got the crispy artichoke salad that was our favorite!
