I want to start by saying I really appreciate the front desk team and maintenance staff here. They are on the whole very friendly and do their best to keep things running smoothly! The apartment itself is very new and nice.
That said, I’ve now been stuck in the elevator four separate times, and despite reporting it each time to management, there’s been no apology, update, or compensation. I even have video proof (Google won’t let me upload it) and photos showing the elevator moving while the doors were open, getting stuck, etc. which is really concerning from a safety standpoint.
One of my friends said she saw the management team shrug it off when she reported me being stuck in the elevator… that was uneasy and sad for me to hear.
These repeated elevator issues have caused me to miss work meetings, run late, and honestly feel anxious about getting stuck again. For the price we pay in rent, I’d expect at least reliable, safe elevators. Unfortunately, that hasn’t been my experience.
On top of that, when we first moved in, there were stains on the bathroom floor. Not a big deal, but it seemed like the unit hadn’t been properly cleaned in the rush before move-in.
I truly hope management takes this feedback seriously, because this could be a great place to live if these issues were addressed properly.
