Great Location, but Needs Flavor Boost We stopped by Lumpia Avenue because it’s conveniently located near the Asian store. We went inside and ordered to-go. Overall, the experience was okay, but there’s definitely room for improvement. • Lumpia (4/5): It was freshly cooked, hot, and still crispy by the time we got home. • Palabok (3/5): The portion was generous, but it was quite bland and lacked the savory flavor you expect from a good palabok. Here’s a funny (but unfortunate) story: When we walked in, I noticed a fly sitting on top of one of the trays of food. I thought it was in the spaghetti, so in my mind, I decided to avoid that and go with the palabok instead. I went to use the restroom first, then came back and placed the order. Later, while eating at home, we were almost halfway through the palabok when I looked back at a photo I had taken earlier and that’s when I realized it was actually the palabok that had the fly. Oops… too late 😅 • Halo-Halo (2/5): It was a good size, but it was overly sweet. It was mostly sago, which didn’t add much variety or balance to the halo-halo. It was missing the mix of ingredients that usually make it refreshing and enjoyable. In total, I’d give Lumpia Avenue 3 out of 5 stars. It’s still a new restaurant, and I hope they continue to improve, especially with flavor and food handling. The staff was friendly, and the location is convenient.

We ordered the pork adobo, pancit, and lumpia. Highly recommend the desserts, too! Great food! Friendly service. Felt like home.

My family came in to try the new Filipino place, Lumpia Ave. So of course we had to try the namesake. The Lumpia was crispy and very flavorful. My spouse said she was a connoisseur of Lechon Kawali, her favorite dish. She said it was the best she had! The gulay and langka dish made me think of home. You like sisig? My niece requested extra spicy and they did not disappoint. My sister and nephew had the all-day breakfast—Tapsilog and Corned Beef-silog. The aroma reminded me of college days, pulling an all-nighter studying and grabbing Tapsi early in the morning. Oh yeah, we will be coming back… this time for halo-halo and buko pandan!

Lumpia’s are on point, delicious! But I would be careful of how many times you use your oil…people like me have a very discriminatory pallet and I can tell if you’ve fried too many items in the oil.

I really love their food. Nobody cooks like my mom but this place comes close! If you like Filipino food you will love this place too.

Ate here with the family. For a small space, the atmosphere was lovely. My son really ate a lot of pancit. The halo halo drink was big and delicious

It’s a cozy little spot near the Omart so there’s plenty of parking space. I had the menudo with rice and pancit. I enjoy the dishes that are easy to wolf down and this one did not disappoint

The best Filipino food I had while being stationed here. Worth going and trying out. Definitely missing out if you don’t go.
