"Near the antique dealers’ district, this restaurant serves scrumptious food, presented beautifully and rich in distinctive flavours, illustrated by a rack of Ségala veal, ravioles of green peas and pecorino cheese and spring onions. The vegetables and fruit come from the chef’s garden. Several-course surprise menu in the evening and simpler fare at lunchtime. Courtyard patio for alfresco dining." - Michelin Inspector

L'un des sens in Dijon proved to be a delightful culinary experience. Opting for the 5-course tasting menu, we embarked on a journey of flavors that surprised and delighted. From the moment we were greeted by the friendly and attentive waiter, the service was impeccable. He thoughtfully inquired about any dietary restrictions, ensuring a personalized experience. Each dish was a masterpiece, not just in taste but also in presentation. The chef, visible in the open kitchen, clearly poured passion into every creation. Subtle and unique flavor combinations danced on the palate, leaving a lasting impression. The progression of the meal was well-paced, with a delicate balance of starters, two main courses showcasing both fish and meat, a refined cheese selection, and a surprising dessert. The ambiance was intimate and cozy, creating the perfect backdrop for a memorable dining experience. While the price point of around 80€ per person (including wine) may seem steep, the quality of the food and the overall experience justify the cost. Highly recommended! Note: As the menu changes regularly, the specific dishes experienced will vary. However, the consistent focus on quality and innovation is guaranteed.

I feel that the flavors for our five course dinner were flat when we were there a few evenings ago. I have been to many top restaurants in France and this just wasn’t worthwhile. We did really enjoy the foie gras with apple, and the dessert course was so unique and interesting. On the other hand, the amuse bouche, while beautiful looking, came up short on flavor, and the meat course—young chicken breast (half of one breast) was reasonably flavorless and lacked any character. Service was top notch and the space is pleasant.

Wonderful experience, great food, atmosphere and service. Interesting tasting menu where the courses are a supprise. One of us needed gluten free, due to allergy, and this was catered for with a few minor substitutions.

We were in France the past two weeks, sampling many nice dishes from different restaurants every day. The L’un des sens offered by far the best of all we have eaten at. Their dishes are well planned and executed, with different ingredients complement each other with a delicate touch. The service was close to perfection, very attentive and never intrusive. We enjoyed the entire experience and would look forward to our next return!

Just perfect! Food was incredible - taste, presentation, everything. All in all a great experience. Tried other Michelin star restaurants while in Dijon, and although L’un des sens was more expensive, it was far better than the others I tried. Recommend 💯 .

2nd time visit! Still love the atmosphere and services here, this time we had New Year's Eve set menu, 9 courses in total. The oyster and scallop was great and two desserts was really the highlight, well-balance in the palate. Good wine list with reasonable price. The set we had is 112€ per person bit pricey, still recommend for their normal a la carte or set lunch with good quality and good price.
