Very fun place to meet up with friends, go on a date, hangout with co-workers, or dine alone. Beautiful open patio that I observed from afar, as it rained when I visited. Our server Addison was very helpful and friendly. His recommendations were 100%! The burgers are all amazing, both style fries are delicious, the cauliflower is a must, and the Fried Eggs BLT sandwich got double raves. The social spritz NA mocktail was savory, very very good!! Special note on the burgers: they had a taste that felt reminiscent. I can't put a place to it but there's something familiar there which is going to bring me back over and over until I figure it out!!

Went in for happy hour on a Sunday evening. Pretty quiet and comfortable. Services was great. L&B Devil was a refreshing cocktail. Hot honey chicken was delicious and a fun bite. Triple C burger was good as well. Fries were ok. Overall a lovely experience, I would go back again.

It wasn't very busy when we went today for a Friday happy hour. But it was a really nice spring day so we sat on the patio. Happy hour is amazing! Great drink specials great food specials. For a chalice of beer, a Grey Goose bloody mary, 2 pints of beer, the burger sliders and onion rings it was $53 which I find very reasonable! I will definitely be back. The patio is also dog friendly which is awesome! If you're in the area definitely give them a try.

So the food was good. And the jam is great. However, my experience with staff was the issue. 1st, it was empty, one booth, one table, and 3 people at the bar. We are seated right next to another couple at a table. Every other table was empty. Like, I get server zones, but nope, this was just inattentiveness by the host and frankly tacky and uncomfortable after the intermission of being seated. The lack of service by our server was straight up bad. She/They did not want to be at her/their job if I had to guess. It was so bad that the couple that came in right behind us asked for the patio, and i noticed she had to come in and ask for service, After we had gotten our order in for water and food cause, we waited a long while for the server to come... so we were way ready for food. We then asked her to return for our drink order please. We finally were able to order our drinks as the food came, cause they/she never came back. I would be willing to give this place another try, but I hope that Sunday was just an off day for them at 11 am. Because I won't tolerate bad service twice.

This is a hamburger place. This is a hot sandwich place. For what it is, it is fine. I had the short rib grilled cheese sandwich.. the meat was tender and juicy, but I was surprised by the white bread. The bear burger is topped with smoked pork, and it was a fine burger, although the jalapeno is on it just added sour- no spice. The fries were fine, but could have been a bit crisper. If you are looking for a burger and a beer, this place might fill your bill . Burgers ranged from $15.59 to $17.50 including the fries. They really hype their gin and jam cocktails. Despite their reducing the sweetness for me by reducing the amount of simple syrup, gin and jam is just not a good thing. Despite our having reservations, they could only seat us at a high top table. I am short. I wanted a regular table. It also took them a while for a waitress to take our order. She said they were trying to decide whose table it was. ... Not good. She was, however, very attentive and after they finally took our order, the service was fine. Would I go back? Unlikely. Nothing was bad, but neither was anything great.

We visited Luna & The Bear for restaurant week! The vibe here is very nice, seems like it would be a cool place to hangout. The service was pretty terrible, honestly. We had a reservation for 2 hours before the restaurant closed, and we weren’t able to place our entree orders until 1h 20 min after we arrived. We tried to place our drink, app, and entree orders together but were told to wait and place apps separately. Then we tried to do our app and entree orders together but again had to do entrees separately. It was roughly half an hour between placing each order, and we ended up having to scarf down our entrees and take our desserts in boxes to go. One person’s entree didn’t even get entered in, and came out a few minutes before the establishment closed. The food was alright - with restaurant week it was $30 for an appetizer, entree, and dessert. I ordered a Burrata and Jam appetizer (“Burrata & Jam - prosciutto, burrata cheese, fig jam, arugula, ciabatta”) which was pretty good! Then I got the Braised Short Rib (“Braised Short Rib - creamy polenta, arugula salad, fried onions”) which was decent - tasted good, but not nearly as good as what I’d expect. Finally got the Butter Cake (“Butter Cake - maple bourbon peaches, whipped cream”) which tasted good but really did not hit right in a cardboard takeout box in your own kitchen. I honestly wish I’d skipped restaurant week and just ordered a burger. The Gin & Jams were quite good!! I had the raspberry one which was delicious, and my friends enjoyed the triple berry and apple ones. You definitely taste the gin, but not in a bad way! There’s limited parking available around back and on the surrounding streets. Overall, I’d come back for drinks and something casual but I would not eat here again.

It's got a great aesthetic and pretty relaxed vibe. It was relatively quiet while we we're there, just a handful of patrons besides ourselves. I actually prefer it that way because I can take photos and not have people staring at me. 📷🔥 I had to take a photo of the wallpaper in the bathroom. It's so adorable! I'd probably put it in my house if I had a space for it. My husband got the Iowa pork tenderloin sandwich, while I opted for the fried chicken sa.dwhich. It's not something I'd normally order but I was intrigued by the sweet chili aoili. I'm happy to report that my sandwich didn't disappoint. My husband's tenderloin was too tough for my liking. He said he liked it but liked my sandwich better. Overall, we really enjoyed it and grew that we would go back. It appears to that there is a decent outside space as well that will be nice when the weather warms up. 🌞

I stopped here for restaurant week lunch. Amazing value for what they had on the menu- I enjoyed an appetizer of their buffalo tofu bites, an entre of their short rib grilled cheese, and then had a triple berry pie tartlet for dessert. Everything was delicious and with generous portions . I recommend the sandwich especially, which was really tender and juicy using high quality ingredients. Shout-out to server Juliette, who was so kind and attentive. Between great food experience + great service, I'm sure I'll be back. Thanks L+TB!

Yelp
Went here for the first time for a much needed Date Night and it did not disappoint. Server/Service: Absolutely superb service from our server and the bartender at the bar. He was attentive and came around just enough to ensure we had what we needed. He was great at explaining some menu items we inquired about. We were close enough to the bar that we would ask her about what cocktails were just mixed. We even left it to her to mix up some of the jam cocktails for us -- both amazing (pictured). Drinks: As mention, amazing!!! Uber delicious, different and many options! Food: Flavor City! We had a favorite short-rib dish before elsewhere and then the place shut down, so we were thrilled to discover our new favorite one here! And wow, the fish/shrimp and grits did not disappoint!!! I had been searching for seafood and grits and this one hit the spot! Portions were spot on. Ambiance: We noticed most of the patrons sat outside on the patio, so it felt like we were in our own private dining space which was so nice. Decor is gorgeous and the space is very large. We will definitely be back soon to try other menu items!! Thanks for a great date night!

Yelp
"We are out of knives..." Friendly staff and the food was ok, but I think they might have some management problems. On a Saturday night it was about 1/2 full. No beer list, (the server offered to go and write them down for me). We ordered. Someone else came out with our food and was going from table to table trying to find out whose it was. We saw the same guy doing the same thing throughout the night. I got a fried chicken sandwich (no silverware at all for me). My wife had a wedge salad - they gave her a fork and said they were out of knives. Hmmm. We didn't think the food menu was very inspired. Lots of cocktails, though!

Yelp
It's OK and I might give it another chance. I came for their happy hour and the "infamous gin and jam". It's a good gimmick, exactly what it sounds like -- basically a fancy gin and juice, made fancy by weirdly infused jams. Solid drink for the HH price of $11, though that is definitely the high end for what you get. I did not order food this night, but some of the apps looked not bad. There is a $20 burger, fries, and beer special on Wednesday nights to accompany trivia. The guy next to me got it even though it wasn't a Wednesday, it certainly LOOKED decent. Service was not great. They spent most of their time chatting with friends and other wait staff, getting a refill would've been impossible if I hadn't learned their name so I could holler it. I've never sat at a mostly-empty bar before and waited 5 minutes just for someone to even notice I was there. Now sure, it was a bad weather day when I came, but it was still off from how most places do it.

Yelp
Started with the cheese curds. Not your "typical" cheese curd, but absolutely incredible lightness (which didn't make sense), but was so delicious. Served with an onion jam. WOW! 2nd time here and once again. Absolutely loved it. I had the short rib grilled cheese and it was delicious. Perfectly toasted and the pork rib was moist and delicious. Served with a small side of "jus", which was the perfect exclamation point. My guest had the chicken sandwich and loved it. He said the sauce could have been a bit more flavorful, but the chicken was moist and delicious. Cant wait to go back!

Yelp
Very cute gin bar with great food. The service was a little slow but servers were very nice. The food came out warm and delicious tasting. Tofu buffalo app surprised us bc it tasted like cheese curds. We will be back to try other menu items for sure.

Yelp
Restaurant is super cute! Lots of space! Server was friendly but for a fairly empty restaurant the waits were longer and not very many check ins by the server to see if we needed anything. We ordered appetizers loaded house cut fries, cheese curds and sliders all were okay nothing special. We all loved our drinks they were definitely the best part of the dining experience! Burgers and shoe string fries were around $18-$20 which seemed a bit expensive for a mediocre burger. Overall over priced bar food. Would love to visit the cocktail lounge but would skip food in the future.

Yelp
The ambience is so comfortable and unique. The booths are wide and comfortable although the spacing between booth back and table would be small for larger patrons. Street parking was free and easy to find right in front. I chose the gin and jam drink of the moment and loved it. It was raspberry. My friend got an N/A option with lemon curd and it was tart but delicious. She has already returned with friends. We shared the apple walnut salad it was perfect dressed and the apples and walnuts were so tasty! We also shared the sweet potato appetizer and it was accompanied by a delicious dipping sauce. Our server was very attentive and frequently asked if we needed anything else.

Yelp
Had such a fun brunch at Luna & The Bear with my girls! We were excited to check it out since we loved the restaurant that used to be in that spot, and this place definitely delivered. Our server was a total vibe--so much good energy! She kept the fun going, even took pics for us, and really made the experience special. Right off the bat, they brought us complimentary donuts, and they were so good. Trying to pick a Gin & Jam was impossible because they all sounded amazing, so I guess I'll just have to go back to try the others! They also do bottomless mimosas, which feels rare in the cities lately. Only thing is, the mix was pretty heavy on the OJ, but hey, we still enjoyed it. I went with the Luna Burger, and it hit the spot--would totally order it again. Overall, loved the vibe here, and it's perfect for a weekend brunch with friends. Can't wait to come back!

Yelp
The good: The gin and jam was good (and I'm not even a gin drinker) The ambiance/aesthetic was nice The bartender/supervisor was friendly The not so good: The waitress wasn't very helpful. We were the only people inside the restaurant yet the service was still underwhelming The food was nothing to write home about

Yelp
Came here for a post-workout meal, and was pleasantly surprised with how much my Feeling California Burger tasted like In-N-Out. I'd come back for that. The fries were also perfectly crispy. The jalapeño poppers were decent, but I probably wouldn't order them again. The host we had also highly recommended some of their alcoholic beverages, which I'm sure are delicious. I'd definitely like to come back to try some of the ones with jam. Overall, service was fast and friendly. In terms of vibe, it seemed like a cool place to hang out with the homies or for a casual date.

Yelp
Isabella was such a wonderful server and extremely friendly, we loved having her and would ask for her again in a heartbeat. The cheese curds with the jalapeno & apricot jam was phenomenal and innovative, the tomato bisque was perfect, and the Luna Burger was perfectly juicy and seasoned. We loved how everything tasted and the interior was BEAUTIFUL and such a vibe. We'll definitely be coming back!

Yelp
This is a place where you'll have to visit again. Great decor: cool wallpaper, and a cool chandelier. They also have a stellar happy hour menu. If I had to mention a problem, it's Just too many delicious possibilities! The variety of drinks alone will be a challenge. The service was friendly and helpful and energetic and honest. He told us his favorites with the perfect amount of description. I'm not a fan of gin but after a delicious old fashioned, I asked him to make something with gin because gosh darn it, he was just so excited to do so. True to his word, it was very tasty. Not too sweet, and not so overpowering the gin was lost. The food was tasty, well-prepared, and slightly better than described. The sausage and white bean chili was steeped in flavor. Go for the bowl, the cup wasn't enough. Both the burger and the chicken sandwiches were tasty and well prepared.

Yelp
The patio was a perfect space for us to enjoy an early dinner on a warm day, we were able to sit under the pergola and not get too much sun. The food menu wasn't overly exciting for someone who doesn't eat beef or pork. I had to order the cheese curds to share. I love cheese and these were cooked the way I like them, not overly battered and they served theirs with a jalapeño tomato jam. It was a little sweeter than expected, but we gobbled them up. The cocktails are what I gravitated towards... I was intrigued by the gin & jams. I enjoy both gin and jams, so ended up getting the Gin and jam of the moment, which was strawberry. It was light and easy and reminded me of a premium strawberry lemonade. I also tried the gin and fig & orange jam and that one was perfection. It was adorable how they serve some of the jam on a spoon. The presentation gets ya. I'm going to try to make this at home. Wish me luck. I wasn't sure what I was hungry for... debated getting a salad, but defaulted to the chicken sandwich. I wasn't overly in love with it. The presentation was basic, the flavor unfortunately was also basic. I've had a lot of tasty chicken sandwiches and this one needed something to stand out. The breading was crispy at first, but it got soggy quick and I couldn't taste the sweet chili aioli. The shoestring fries were crispy, but needed some flavor. If I were to order again, I would try the beet burger. Major shout out for making your own vegetarian patty, I will be back to try it and another gin and jam! Shout out to our server who was helpful and accommodating after he warmed up to us.

Yelp
Hey Travoodies Hey The Diners Club and I caught up for our monthly meet up and this is how it went.. We stopped by @lunabearmpls to check out a new spot. It was not long after opening so the traffic inside was light. Greeted with great hospitality, we were seated on the patio. Finally a beautiful day in Minnesota. The inside and out was cute and comfortable. Our server at first was little strange and very mono. However, once he understood or was able to experience our lightheartedness; he warmed right up and actually provided a great experience. When it came to questions regarding the menu it was spot on. I actually am grateful for his recommendation. The food: : mini cheeseburger for an appetizer : cheese curds for an appetizer : The Bear Burger.. jalapeño bourbon braised pork belly, pickled jalapeño, sweet chili aioli and cheddar The mini cheeseburger was a delicious bite. I am not a big fan of cheese curds but the bbq they makes a perfect dipping pair. The burger didn't disappoint. Usually these types of burgers leave the buns soggy and messy. However, there was perfect balance between the two. I give the space a 3.5 out of 5. I wasn't wow'd but it was good. #HeyTravoodies #BlackFoodie #YelpElite #BIPOCTraveler #GlobalEating #CulturedFoodie #CulturedTraveler #EatingThroughCulture Like, Share, & Follow Me DM or Email for Collab

Yelp
My friend and I came for drinks and food after an event in the area and loved the food, drinks and atmosphere! There isn't a parking lot so we had to park several blocks away and walk but we were able to be seated right away on a Sunday late afternoon. The fried cauliflower was incredible! The Americana burger was delicious. We ordered dipping sauces for the fries, which was fun and tasty! The drinks were yummy. I had to order the Gin & Jam. I chose the Yuzu jam. It was refreshing and very good but I'd say it's more for someone who likes drinks on the sweeter side. I still very much enjoyed it even though I'm not a sweets person. We liked the cool wallpaper, art, and furniture. We also loved that it was a spot we could chill and enjoy our time without being rushed out. Reminds me of how in Europe you can enjoy food, conversation and all around experience without feeling like you're taking up space. I'd totally come back here!

Jen M.

Yelp
Food was great, and the cheese curds were amazing! The berry sauce they give you with it was not a combination I thought I'd love so much but I did.

Megan M.

Yelp
The food here is amazing. I highly recommend the blackened catfish and shrimp! The staff is super kind and lovely and just an overall great experience.

Yelp
We went for happy hour and ordered most of the food items on the HH menu. Everything was delicious, the burger sliders were a favorite. We ordered the gin and Jam and it was great. The service was friendly and prompt. They have super cute photos of Luna and Bear on the walls. Definitely want to make it back there.
google avatar

Yelp
Food was delicious. I'll be back for more of their cheese curds and to get a gin and jam!
google avatar

Yelp
It is such a beautiful space, with such a fun vibe!! The wall paper, paintings, and natural light made it the perfect brunch spot. The gin and jam drinks were especially exciting for me, and I'm interested to try more. The staff were kind and efficient, and I loved that you could pay by QR code. Parking can be a bit tricky so leave some extra time! I ended up street parking in the neighborhood across the street.
google avatar

Tippy P.

Yelp
We stopped by to check this place out, few parking on the street if you're lucky. Otherwise drive around to find parking. I've been to this restaurant before when it was under different name. Tall and wide booths for more private and intimate dining with your group. We were seated in the large table by the front. Food was good, we thought they had a different menu and was planning to try. However, they recently changed it and we ordered anyway.

Emilee J.

Yelp
I couldn't eat the bear just once. Granted, my first trip won for the best burger. My second was still great but a bit on the colder side and not nearly as flavorful. Ambiance continued to excel along with knowledgeable, friendly service. Thankfully, the star of my second visit was the gin and jam pairing. Even if you don't think it's your thing, believe me. It is. There's a story behind every gin and endless options to choose from. A must.

Yelp
Went here with a friend on Saturday night around 630pm. Not too busy. Started with the cheese curds which were great. Had a burger and my friend had the tenderloin. Both were great. If you're a gin drinker this place offers gin and jam combos. Did not partake but looked interesting. The vibe here is eclectic hotel bar meets cozy pub. Would recommend and will come again.

Yelp
This has been on the top of my list to try and it did not disappoint!! The location and ambiance of the restaurant is perfect for a date night or grabbing drinks with friends. The service was great and very welcoming. Street parking is the best option. I had the BBQ Burger and loved every bite. Others got the Pear Burger and really enjoyed it! The broccolini appetizer and fries were fantastic, as well. I will definitely be back again! One of my new twin cities favs :)

Yelp
Overall a great place for good food and drink, but don't expect it to be a quick experience for dinner. Our party of 2 was seated immediately on a Saturday evening without reservation. We ordered a Gin & Jam cocktail which was delicious and a beer- quite a few local selections of beer on tap. I ordered the Bear Burger with potato wedges. All of the ingredients worked together so well and the bun was soft and fluffy. Wedges were okay, but the fries my partner ordered were so addicting! The roasted pear burger he ordered was both sweet and savory, and we could taste the truffle- a good sign. While the drinks came right away, the 2 of us waited over 30 minutes for our burgers in a place that was maybe half full. Our waitress was great and knowledgeable. I'd come again, but based on this experience, be prepared to wait awhile for dinner to be served even if with a small party.

Yelp
Came to Luna & the Bear for brunch today with a girlfriend. We started with a Bloody Mary- I loved that it wasn't too thick and appreciated the array of pickled veg. Followed by gin and jam cocktail with the mixed berry jam, and the Spanish gin. I prefer the jalapeño pineapple jam and would do that next time. We got some yummy complimentary cinnamon sugar donuts and scarfed those down. The brunch menu was fine but not as innovative or exciting as their lunch/dinner menu. I got the farmers skillet with sausage and over easy eggs, which came with dry toast. The food was fine but we weren't raving about it. The cocktails were definitely the standout element this time. Service was excellent as before. I would say after coming here twice that L&TB really shines with the lunch/dinner experience. Will still return!

Yelp
Oh wow is the short version. I was impressed by the space, the service, the food, and especially the drinks. My husband and I met another couple there at 7pm on a sunny and warm Saturday night, the first one in June. I'm surprised it wasn't more full, we were hot so we sat inside, the patio was fairly full but we could have sat out there, too. The inside is classic dark wood, kinda like a lodge. Our server was at the table immediately asking if we had any questions and if we'd like to order drinks or wanted water. I immediately asked about the gin & jam and he gave us an impressive description of how that worked and we all ordered. When the drinks arrived we were all very pleased, we had two yuzu jam drinks, a fig & orange drink, & I had the mixed berry drink. We had our server pair them with the best match of gin since we don't have favorites and the restaraunt has 35 to pick from! Wow, they were TASTY!! We then asked him lots of questions about the menu and he was super knowledgable about everything and was able to make recommendations on what we were looking at on the menu. He definitely said that their sandwiches and their burgers were the best items on the menu, so that's what we chose to pick from! Our table ordered the Americana Burger, Shrimp Po Boy, and Luna & the Bear burgers. For sides we had Tomato Basic soup, House Cut Fries, and regular (shoestring) fries. We LOVED our meals! The burgers were perfectly cooked (there wasn't a choice on doneness), with the toppings we wanted or didn't want, exactly the right amount of toppings, too. We also all ordered another round of gin & jams. Some of us switched 'em up, to getting peach jam w/strawberry gin...also extremely tasty. We wrapped up our meal slowly sipping our last gin & jams and the couple with us also got dessert - butter cake with candied peaches in like a syrupy sauce - they said it was super good! I'd like to thank Cory or waiter for making our night fun with his excellent service, advice, and banter! Thanks Cory! Apologies for no pictures, the food was so good and the company was so excellent, that I forgot this time! I'll just have to go back, which I will! ;)

Yelp
The food is fantastic! We started with burrata & jam, and our only complaint is we wish it came with a couple more pieces of bread to finish the burrata with. Next up was the bear burger and the chicken sandwich. Both were SO good, even if the buns did get soggy quickly. The bacon on the bear burger is so good (no wonder you can order it as a stand-alone app!) and all the flavors worked well. We also tried both the house cut fries and classic French fries. Both were good and I like that they have options for your fry style preferences. This place has a weird vibe. We came for dinner on a Sunday and it was clear there was a large group who'd been Sunday funday-ing there the whole day. We still had a good time, but that very loud group standing next to our table while we were eating was a little off putting.

Yelp
Came here around 5 hoping they would have happy hour, but unfortunately they don't. Food was good, but prices seemed a bit steep considering what it is. But service was friendly, space was cute and clean. Parking was free street parking.

Yelp
Super cute place, patio looked nice, fun artwork. The gin and jam cocktails were a definite highlight, so good! We had a wedge salad which was kind of deconstructed more than "wedge" but the blue cheese dressing was very good. The bear burger was really good. Just the right amount of all the toppings and the bun was perfect. Fries were thin but well cooked. They lost a star for two reasons, the first being that although we arrived in plenty of time for happy hour, it was not mentioned and the croque monsieur did not live up to the name. Two dry toasted pieces of bread, slide of cheese on one side, ham and caramelized onion. It was what the menu said and it wasn't bad but my mind just read croque and that was a completely different expectation from all the other croque sandwiches I've had so I was bummed.

Yelp
The food here was so delicious !!! My dad wanted to take me out for my birthday, to a place of my choice. He's not too familiar with the cities, so I went to my "List of Restaurants to try", and here was one I'd been wanting to try when I had a burger craving. Today was one of those burger-craving days! I ordered the "Luna Burger" with the shoestring fries and a gin and jalapeño jam drink (I think?) but it was phenomenal!!! I'm not a huge gin drinker but this is a must try if you visit Luna & the Bear. You choose your own jam and gin for a customized beverage to your liking!! (Super cool). I do remember having to wait a very long time for our drinks, but the place was full and understaffed with only one bartender behind the counter. It was quite loud, but my son slept through the entire lunch the place is near Eat Street and very cute. It was EXTREMELY hard finding parking here so come early, you might have to walk a block or two! (Depending on the day, I was here on a Saturday.) Our server was training a young woman, but they were both very kind, and did a great job!! Highly recommend this restaurant

My son (5) and I went out for a "fancy date night" to Luna and the Bear. We got there just in times for happy hour (daily until 6pm). It was a perfect night out 1) kids cheese burger (which was huge) and great flavor 2) Chicken sandwhich - go good! 3) fried pickles - a must get 4) Gin and Juice - lovely! we will be heading back

Yelp
First things first. Happy hour is 2-6 and here is the menu. I couldn't find these details anywhere so you're welcome! Happy hour fries were so enormous we didn't think we'd be able to eat them all. Spoiler, we did. They brought us 4 dipping sauces without needing to be asked and that is grade a service people! The sauces were so good. Jam drinks are sadly not on happy hour, but who cares, take my money! The are so unique and flavorful and fun. I have never had a drink like this before and need to get back to Minneapolis so I can have a drink like this again! We tried raspberry, pineapple jalapeño, apple butter and blueberry lavender jams and they were all so tasty. The atmosphere is clean and you can tell it is a newer establishment and well cared for. The dog portraits on the walls are epic. Barstool so comfortable and great service. I will be thinking about this place for a long time to come!

Yelp
Katie was very knowledgeable, friendly & welcoming. This place is known for their house made jams, gin n jam pairings as well as burgers. The Luna burger is what I opted for, smoked gouda, preserved tomato, sweet onion marmalade, aioli, lettuce-super tasty. The husband had the meatball sandwich. Loved it. You can upgrade the fries to thick cut house fries for $2-really yummy. We had the pork nachos as a starter. At the recommendation of Katie I had a Spanish gin with the peach jam. Definitely recommend. We can't wait to come back for brunch ! The decor is also super rad. Really enjoyed the wallpaper in the ladies room. Dog outlines filled with flowers! Can't go wrong.

Yelp
Here for late brunch Saturday and the experience was less than satisfactory. Service was S-L-O-W and food was barely mediocre. No one took our order for 10 minutes and then another 10 minutes passed before we received our drinks. Food arrived and I was shocked at how unsubstantial it was. The omelet was smaller than the size of my hand and the breakfast potatoes were scarce. The picture shows how little food was on the plate. Taste wise, nothin was salted - everything was so bland. For a $15 omelette, at least make an effort to plate nicely and give more potatoes. Walked away not full, disappointed and won't be returning for an overpriced and no flavor meal.

Yelp
First trip. Monday night, holiday weekend...open but not busy. Missed Happy Hour; darn, and didn't see a menu. Couldn't find it on the website. Read stellar reviews on it. Ordered the Pork Tenderloin; probably should know to keep it in Iowa. Iowan's have it mastered. Mustard sauce was way too spicy. Had to scrap it off with the thick cabbage chunks. Ate it but disappointing. Partner had one off the burgers. Said it was delicious and polished it off! Skinny fries were tasty. Good, prompt service. Water glass stayed filled! Prices were good. Beautiful setting, great patio, empty on this very hot, humid evening. Owner? Manager? held the door when we left, inquired how our meal was and I was able to tell him about the mustard. He did a good job of hearing me. Allowed me decide to come back! Drinks sounded good but we decided too pricey...maybe we will try out Happy Hour. I noticed quality wine glasses.

Yelp
Brand new place in Minne! Casual yet still cute place for a meal. Everything was delicious from what I tried, so I'll be adding this to my list of faves in the area. Steak tartare: Well presented and flavorful! Great app to share and the bread was toasted to a nice crisp. The microgreens add a nice touch. Pesto linguine: Creamy but not overly heavy. The cheese shavings were a lovely touch too. Service was on point and very friendly too!

Yelp
The drinks were really good here! I loved the different types of gin!! Overall, the ambiance was okay but not stellar.... Service was also a bit lacking for a slow weekday dinner...

Yelp
Food is top tier. Service is exceptional. The vibe and ambience is so classy and beautiful. Plus it's dog themed!!! (Insert heart eyes here!) A must visit if ever in the twin cities! 10/10

Yelp
Really enjoyed my first visit to Luna and The Bear. Good variety of menu items from burgers to salads. My husband had the veggie beet burger and thought it was really good and my daughter had a regular burger and liked it as well. We had a variety of salads. I thought the size was ample. Service was good and the restaurant was in a fun space. Definitely a great place for lunch with friends.

Yelp
I thought it was a nice atmosphere - nice to see the old Eat Street Social revived. I was glad to see there were vegetarian options. We ordered several dishes to try lots of the food. We also ordered drinks. Both my friend and me were feeling like all the food was a bit bland and we had asked for extra sauces for everything we ordered because it just wasn't hitting in flavor. The extra sauces helped but I wasn't blown away by the food. The server was friendly and attentive, and did a great job taking care of us.

Yelp
Please trust me when I tell you never to waste your money at Luna and the Bear. While it is cute inside, TERRIBLE SERVICE TERRIBLE FOOD!!! First we waited about 20 minutes for him to come put in our order. This is 12:00 on a Wednesday and the restaurant is dead. He was doing side work washing glasses at the bar with a direct view of our table and we had to go ask him to come put in our order because we had meetings to get to. He just forgot. We ordered a breakfast sandwich, a soup, and a salad. Probably the most simple order to make. A few minutes after ordering he came back to the table because he forgot what our order was. Then it took another 25 minutes to come out. I'm not sure why considering it was the equivalent of the breakfast sandwich from McDonald's. I would have rather saved myself 15 dollars and just done that instead. The soup was premade and the salad was also a waste of 20 dollars, it was iceberg lettuce, ranch and chopped onions. It looked unappetizing. As the food was being set on the table I had to ask for a box and the check because I only had 5 minutes to eat before needing to leave. There are so many better options for food and service in Minneapolis. I will tell everyone not to waste their time or money here.

Yelp
Me personally, I loved this place. From the jam cocktail to the ambiance to the fact that this was a new place and I got to wow some potential clients, great job all around. Minor thing that came up, bottled water / sparkling water could be added.

Yelp
Wonderful stop for a happy hour with friends. Phenomenal drink options - the gin and jam combos are not to be missed. Ambiance is great with pictures of the dogs Luna and Bear around. Food was good - the pear burger was very good although a bit dry. Service was friendly yet could have been more attentive.

Yelp
COCKTAIL ONLY REVIEW: An exciting new addition to the Eat Street area! A friend and I came here for a cocktail before a show, and I'm glad we did. COCKTAIL MENU: This spot is a gin-lovers paradise, with a focus on gin and a specialty of gin & jams. This was a new concept to me, and I love it! GIN & JAM: The gin & jam section of their cocktail menu has 5 types of gin from around the world, and 5 types of jam (yes, like the spread!). You pick your gin and the jam you'd like to pair it with - so many different pairings possible! I opted for the barreled gin from Corsair (USA) with the apricot jam. My friend got the Jin Jiji India Dry Gin with the blueberry and lavender jam. PRESENTATION: They bring the cocktail out in the cutest glass with a tiny spoon of jam on the top, if you want it sweeter/more jammy! The presentation is gorgeous. SERVICE: Our server was wonderful - she gave us helpful guidance on the menu and suggested her favorite pairings between the gins and jams. DECOR: The place is such a vibe - moody, dark interior with fun art and even a patio outside. I can't speak to the food menu, but things coming out around us looked delish!

Yelp
We arrived with enough time to order drinks and dinner, yet we felt like we were inconveniencing the staff. One particular staff member, who made sure to mention he was from texas, also made sure to point out our wimpy Minnesotan heat tolerance... He's not wrong, but it's rude. The gin and wine combos were interesting but meh. The food was maybe above average, but kinda not worth the price. Pair the staff interactions with the food, I doubt I would come back. The best part was the wallpaper in the bathroom-- Save your money and try other better places!

Yelp
Happy hour review: I'd say this is a solid happy hour with good food options. The sliders were my favorite, followed by the onion rings. The green beans were really sweet with the honey and that kind of ruined them unfortunately. The gin and jam was good - although $11 is a bit steep for a happy hour price. Not a lot of other cocktail options. Food came out pretty quickly, so overall a good place to grab a snack or dinner.
