Luna Grill El Camino Real

The service is amazing!! The location is El Camino Real 17, and the employees are so sweet!! Diana speaks Spanish so it was great for some of my family and Marvi has amazing recommendations for the menu! Norma is super thoughtful too!! I totally recommend this location!!!

I came here for a late lunch. At first, I had difficulty deciding what to order because there were so many options, all of which looked delicious and healthy. Ultimately, I chose the Salmon Santorini Bowl. The salmon was freshly cooked and prepared perfectly. I really enjoyed my lunch.

I come here often and I typically have good experiences, but I had an exceptionally amazing time the last time I was here a few weeks ago. Hailey was the absolute best she went above and beyond was so attentive was so helpful and informative and really worked with me. She definitely made our whole experience so much better. I would definitely come back here and I know I will. She is amazing and I hope that she is appreciated by her establishment because she is a great asset! Thanks for providing great customer service with amazing food!

I had a great experience at Luna Grill! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the restaurant had a clean, welcoming atmosphere. We love it here at Luna Grill! It’s my son’s favorite place to visit. We always get the loaded fries. The service here is always good too! Mani, Diana and Diego took care of us today. They made sure to come over and check on us, ask if we needed anything else even after bringing us our food. Thank you for the great service!

My lunch at Luna Grill on El Camino Real was fantastic! The place was spotlessly clean, creating a great atmosphere. Maria and Vance provided exceptional service; Maria was welcoming and helpful, and Vance was efficient. Their teamwork made the experience truly enjoyable. And the food? Absolutely delicious and fresh! For a wonderful meal in a clean setting with top-notch service, Luna Grill is the place to go.

Employee was really nice and the Garlic Bon Fire Shrimp is really good. The rice is really good as well for some reason the rice had some good flavor or something and I really enjoyed it. I definitely come back one more time before I go back home to Nebraska.

Stopped into the Carlsbad Mall to go see a movie at the Regal theaters and wanted a healthy dinner before the movie. This is when I discovered Luna Grill and I'm very I did. Luna Grill El Camino Real is a Mediterranean restaurant that is located in the Carlsbad Mall and is close to the Regal Theater entrance. They have a very spacious interior that is perfect for group seating situations. The gigantic front windows are great for people-watching. Upon entering, they greeted me with friendly smiles and were very patient when answering all my questions. I ended up getting a Santorini Salad Bowl and it was amazing! I loved all of the couscous, olives and the gyro meat was seasoned well. Everything was reasonably priced too. I was served in under 15 minutes and was able to eat my healthy dinner and still make my movie. I like this Luna Grill and I recommend it

The food is predictably very good at the location. As residents of Vista, it is often less convenient to come to this location, but the Bressi Ranch Luna Grill is frequently quite a bit skimpier on the meal portions! For us, it is worth the extra effort to have a reliably tasty & adequately filling meal to go here!

Ever so often I crave some different flavors and culture because while I love TACOS, I can get burnt out. I love Persian and Mediterranean food and don't have it that often, so when I do eat it, it always a super treat. There aren't a lot of great options in North County for Persian/Kabob places, although there are a lot more places popping up, so my only option is a chain. Portions are smaller than what it use to be, but if you love kabobs and Mediterranean this will hit the spot.

The lady named Marvi was so nice!!! When I came in I had no clue what I was gonna eat and she had great recommendations. I ordered the Santorini bowl and it was so good! The only thing is I dont like olives but doing an adjustment was really easy! Also this spot is sooooo cute! They always have good music and it's a nice spot to relax between shopping. Llubia and Maria are super sweet too!!

We stopped at the Carlsbad location and was greeted promptly by the staff. Our slightly custom order was met with a smile and expected perfectly. The food was fresh, perfect temperature, tasty per usual of course. The restaurant was a nice temperature and the patio was available with shade if you like to eat and people watch. Overall spectacular dining experience! Sorry no pics we inhaled the food. But ya get the jest of things.

The restaurant was clean. Tasty food and great customer service. My kids love the food! Definitely coming here again. Love the chipotle sauce!

The chicken is always juicy here, and it's a clean restaurant. Also, Norma & Rylee were really nice and fast.

The cuisine is always outstanding, especially the chicken dishes which are a our favorite. The lemon chicken should make a comeback; it's the ideal dish to savor before heading to a movie on Tuesdays.

Ordering online through the app is super easy. Luna has finally allowed you to collect rewards points even when using a reward. The apple walnut salad with protein is awesome. Very tasty, full of cranberries, walnuts, and cheese. If you get gyro as your protein, you will also get Tsatsiki sauce. Pick up was also super easy. And I want to commend staff member, Riley, for always being so sweet, kind, courteous, and she always asks the right questions. Like whether I need utensils or not, and whether it is OK to put both salads in the same bag. She offers a big smile and a friendly face.

Great Mediterranean food as always! MARCO was great - he went out of his way to customize our plates and accommodate our requests! We drive long distances just to go to this particular Luna Grill because of their great customer service! Kudos to Marco - he made our day!

First time review for Luna, my fiancé and like this place because their food is usually great. I ordered DoorDash to my house for her and I. 2 santorini bowls, my first bite was into a undercooked price of chicken and made me puke. Not one but 3 prices were undercooked between both of our santorini bowls. I called the store to report the issue and the manager was not friendly nor did he seem to care. This is unsafe Luna Grill and you should be ashamed of yourselves. Update 1/8/24 Luna Grill responded to my comment saying to reach out to their guest services department to make things right. I did with no response from you guys! ‍

The food is delicious and reasonably priced and Marco gives amazing customer service! We highly recommend this place and we will be back.

Bright and open space, plenty of indoor and patio seating. Place was kept clean and tidy. Friendly staff as well. We had the Chicken and Gyro Meat Plate, and a mango passionfruit tea. Everything was great, we'll definitely be back to try other meals. The hummus was a lot, so I wish there was more pita bread included in the plate. The garlic sauce had great flavor!

The beef kabob was so tasty!!! Reminded me of a Persian beef kabob. So tender and flavorful. The salad, hummus, pita was perfect amount. Would come back. It took about 10 minutes to get the food Nice casual place right next to regal cinema with plenty of parking

Good food but man is their service slow!! I placed my order and then waited 15 min before I could eat it. I thought that this was supposed to be fast and convenient?

The food was really good. We weren't aware it was Greek "fast food", think Panda. The inside is casual. Service was okay. We were greeted promptly and our order taken. We did share a plate and were offered a second plate for our shared experience, it never came. It is good for what it is.

Excellent food last night at Luna Grill. My kid was craving kabobs so I stopped in on my way home. I ordered a chicken and gyro combo and a gyro plate and three sauces (2 garlic and 1 tahini). The food took only a few minutes to make but as I was waiting I noticed that they had a kids eat free sign up. I wish they would have mentioned that as I would have gotten a kids meal for free. When I went to leave I asked the fork at the counter "are my sauces in there" she said yes. So I turn around and look into the bag and she says "they are in the bottom" I pull out the plates and low and behold no sauces. She assured me again they are there and I said "WHERE?! In the plates?" And they both look at each other and start filling up cups... All in all the food was one of my fav swarmas. I love the Gyro this place has and the garlic sauce is ON point! But wow they charge over 1$ Each for those three sauces. I paid 4.04 cents after tax for just the sauce.

Good always, very consistent probably why it always takes a little while to get done! Service is ok, not always the friendliest but good. The place is alway very clean . Price is good for the quality they provide.

I've been here a few times, the staff are so nice. The restaurant is clean and the food is made fresh to order. Maria was my cashier today and she was so nice and accommodating as well as Llubia & Ofelia who served us. Thanks for making my birthday lunch special. This location is always a must for lunch when we go to the mall. We tried the new lemon garlic chicken and it was amazing!

First time trying to this place, and I was really impress with food, both the chicken and beef were really juicy and tasty, the hummus and pita was a great combo. They also have a good variety of beverage, I had the Passion fruit Mango tea and I like it alot, The restaurant was clean and spacious, the Service was good our food came out in a good amount of time, majority of the servers were friendly and nice.

I am picky picky picky about food and I almost never eat from a franchise or "fast" food. i have not eaten at a Luna Grill in years. I happened to be meting a friend for lunch and the place we chose was too busy. There was a Luna Grill a couple doors down. Big poster with new shrimp in the window made me give it a try. It was fabulous. Crazy good. Big shrimp and plenty of sides (I got the bowl). The couscous was really goo, olives and kale (as good as kale can be). Service was good and price was reasonable for all I got. It is going to be a regular stop for me. Very friendly service. Looking forward to trying other menu items.

The location is convenient if you are at the mall anyway and the inside is nice, looks new, open. The food is good. Tastes good. Looks good. Cooked well. What I noticed in my opinion is that the size of the portion seems to be smaller and the price seems to have gone up. The employees were nice, friendly, etc. The 1 helping me might have been new as he was not sure of many things and couldn't answer some of the questions that I asked. He also did something when entering my order which caused the manager to have to cancel, refund, re-ring my order. I haven't experienced this at other locations so only giving 3 stars. I ordered the loaded fries and a Mediterranean Greek salad both were like $3.29 extra with chicken or gyro meat. Like $15 each. The Salad does not even come with Pita's and I think that it used to. I liked the food, it was fine, just not overwhelmed by the service or the price.

Location is good, the cleanliness and ambiance are good but the service and food quality is excellent! My favorite go to is chicken kabob plate, modern Greek salad upgrade and a garlic lemon shrimp skewer is my new favorite addition. Lemonade is also my favorite. Highly recommend this restaurant location.

My mom and I love the food at Luna Grill, the team members Carson, Maria, Natalie and Rylee they all give us an excellent service. We go often that we already know their names. I will definitely recommend Luna Grill to my family and friends. Yummy food and healthy. The restaurant has a delightful ambiance.

I ordered two Apple Walnut Salads (one with chicken, one with gyro meat, plus extra dressing) on the app, for takeaway. They were packaged and ready to go when I arrived. The food was delicious. This is definitely one of my favorite dishes...the salad is fresh, flavorful, and there are at least 4, maybe 5 protein choices. Highly recommend.

I really like this place. The gyros are great. They also have a salmon plate that is delicious. I like that they don't overdo the seasons on their salmon. I can not spell taziki sauce but theirs is very good. The service is very nice very friendly staff and the food is very fresh. Why only 3 stars you ask. Well when I first started eating here they had the Greek lemon soup. It was outstanding, one of the best soups I ever had. But for some reason they stopped serving it. It was my favorite thing to eat here. I still like eating here, but not as much as I used to. I am posting this review because I am hoping they will bring the soup back.

i went there for lunch after buy birthdays gifts for my sister. I had the gyro plate. i have been sick all day. it feels truck hit me. mSG headache!!! beware.

Food was great. I love the grilled Chicken kabobs. This is what I ordered. I had fries with it and a small serving of humus. The chicken was cooked perfectly and the fries were crisp and plentiful. The service was about as good as you can expect.

The food is delicious, but every time I order from there my order is wrong. They forget a sauce, don't substitute as requested in the app, or send the wrong order. It's so irritating. But the food is so good. Just eat in where they can fix your order if they screw it up. The gyro near is excellent & not at all gamey. The salads are yummy because the sauces are amazing. Although the spicy harissa & spicy hummus are way more bitey than you'd expect from a counter service restaurant. If not for the constant order mistakes I'd give it 5-stars.

We were last here months ago and my son got food poisoning. We came back against my better judgment. It's clear they've gone downhill. They've raised the prices, a chicken and gyro plate with a drink is $24.22! The place is empty (at 3:45), it's a mess, and it took 14 minutes to get the food. Safe to say we won't be coming back.

Rylie, Ianna, and Ofelia were just stellar employees and were so so kind! They made my day brighter just by being themselves and helping me out with my order. I haven't been to Luna Grill here in such a long time and will definitely be coming back soon for some yummy food and good customer service!!

Business operating during the pandemic, "thank you" Review #45 ordered Sunday-night takeout from Luna Grill -- except for Wyatt's Country Breakfast (bacon, two eggs over easy, and cheesy grits), a couple loads of laundry, and washing Saturday's dishes, dad took the day off. the aforementioned fifteen-year-old son had the CHICKEN KABOB Plate (grilled, boneless chicken, basmati rice, pita, tzatziki, and hummus) with a HALAL LAMB KABOB on the side. had been a long time since brunch, and, apparently, the boy was hungry. he ate everything and announced he'd order that again -- that's the benchmark all his meals are judged against. Juliana, the sixteen-year-old (vegan) daughter had the FALAFEL PLATE -- falafel (deep-fried chickpea fritters), basmati rice, pita, tahini, and hummus. I'm guessing she liked everything (she ate in her room alone) since the empty to-go container was on the kitchen counter this morning when I got up. the GYRO MEAT was a little dry (resuscitated by the tzatziki) but had an interesting texture and flavor. pretty good eats and dad got outta the kitchen for the evening.
