Norfolk, Virginia’s Top Happy Hours | Eater

"Billing itself as a hip Latin American and vegetarian restaurant, the casual, family-owned restaurant offers $5 vegetarian taquitos with cheese and onions or a $5 spinach quesadilla to appeal to plant eaters. The deals are served Tuesday through Thursday from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Wash it down with a $5 sangria or a $6 margarita or mojito. There’s also a $5 caipirinha, a Brazilian drink with rum, lime, and sugar." - Vox Creative

The interior design is definitely a highlight—the decorator clearly went all out, and the space has a fun, energetic vibe. That said, the room we were seated in had a strong echo, which made conversation a bit difficult. As other reviews have pointed out, this place seems to aim for Latin fusion but misses the mark. The chips we received were clearly store-bought, and the passion fruit skinny mojito was underwhelming—light on alcohol, lacking freshness, and not worth the $13 price tag. For the first time in years, I chose not to order an entrée. After seeing the presentation of the appetizer and tasting the drink, I had enough. My partner, who is from Puerto Rico, didn’t even feel comfortable trying the water.

Worst $100 spent while leaving all the food I ordered on the table as I walked out since it was inedible. The “beans” weren’t even solid. The tamale was just sweet corn on top of the tamale wrapper and then topped with meat. The tuna was dry and the taco came deconstructed. The guacamole was good but the chips were definitely store bought. The service was great. Music choice was questionable and offensive at best. Also only saw 1 “ethnic” person working in an ethnic restaurant. Personally, I feel like this restaurant is catered to the “Karen” kind. The ones that want to feel like they’re eating food from another nationality without the commitment to the actual culture.

Google
Excellent, authentic Mexican. Lots of vegetarian options as well as traditional meat dishes. Wide range of original Margaritas with top shelf tequilas. Waiter was attentive, helpful and pleasant. Space is busy and a little loud but manageable. Highly recommend.

Google
rice is bland, tamale is a joke is like liquid corn soup poured on top of the husk, beans are liquified, nothing tastes authentic let alone appetizing. not mexican food. service is good though and the place is decorated nicely.

Google
Perfect date spot for a cool summer evening. We decided to sit outside on their patio and we were surrounded by the sweet smells of the jasmine flowers draped along the walls. The drinks were tasty, with a great selection of top shelf tequilas. I adored the chips and salsa container because we both got our own salsa section. And if you have a fiancée like mine who destroys chips and salsa before you can blink, it’s the perfect set up. The food came out very quickly and the flavors were delicious! Wonderful date, highly recommend!

Google
I think this place would be 5 stars for someone who is into fusion. My friends and I picked this thinking it was more of a traditional Mexican but it is Def not. Certain portions are very small and others are quite large. Reasonably priced. Not a large drink selection. Not for me, but again I think if you're looking for fusion foods this would be for you.

Google
Was my first time ordering from Luna Maya! And they did not disappoint when it came to the flavor! I ordered the vegan quesadilla tonight for takeout, as I was not feeling well. My husband, graciously when in to pick it up for me. He said the host/servers were cheerful and pleasant. The establishment looked nice inside! The vegan quesadillas was just what I needed! It was delicious!! Thank you very much!! The only request, is there be as much beans as there was rice, as there was not much placed in there. But otherwise, everything was very delightful. Thank you!

Google
The staff here is amazing. They are always on point and fast with everything. The food never takes long and the portions are always amazing. A true original spot for Ghent. Great for dates or a large group!

Yelp
Came here after a long day of travel for a conference. We were tired, hungry, overheated and wanted something fresh. Nothing beats latin food on a hot day! The hostesses were lovely and got us a table cleared outaide super quick. Our waitress was on top of it and adorable to boot (she hummed did a little victory tune when she brought out our plates). The patio was lovely on an August afternoon with the breeze and chill lights and chatter. We ordered the veggie taquitos which were amazing but got even better when adding the dipping sauce! The tamales are what they're known for so my husband got the brisket and I got the veggie. I adore tamales and while the open faced nature was unexpected it was damn good. I got mine with both red and green enchilada sauces. Delicious! My husband was so enamored with the place he's added it to our "imaginary street of our favorite restaurants" list. Definitely go if you get the chance!

Yelp
Okayyyy this review might be a hot take... I DID NOT like this place. I was recommended this place by a friend several months ago (like 10 months back) and I never made it there when I was in the area on that occasion. I was back in the area and decided to make it a priority to catch dinner here since they were raving about it. First: the entrance/exit is weird. It looks like a side door and almost like it's not supposed to be there. Especially if you're visiting in the evening/when it's dark outside. The curtains when you walk in are also kind of weird - mostly it just gave me kind of an icky feeling to have to touch and move these heavy drapes that everyone else has to touch coming in and out as well. Something about it gave me like sticky hotel carpet vibes. It WAS NOT sticky, but it made me a bit squirmy LOL. The interior is quite dimly lit, so if you struggle with seeing in low-light settings, this may be problematic. It can definitely be difficult to see/read the menu and also even to see your food depending on what part of the restaurant you sit in. Anyway, I think I ordered a quesadilla when I had dinner here with two friends, and it was so boring and bland... Friends ordered basically the same thing (I think a steak burrito situation) and they were both unimpressed. I think the biggest issue we all shared was the apparent lack of seasoning on all of the food. Meh. The portions were good sized, but the food just was NOT it for me (or friends), and it was really disappointing to be honest. I also got an order of chips and queso for the table, and we all hated that as well. The queso had no flavor, and it was actually almost a bit gritty(?) is maybe the way I would describe it. A very off-putting texture. The chips I think were house made, and they were also lackluster in my opinion (and definitely lacking salt). Our waitress was fine, she was kind of funny and she kept it real when I asked her about certain things on the menu - one thing in particular I inquired about was the sangria, and she essentially told me not to get it, but offered me a sample. I took the sample and tried it and she was right - HATED IT. She was not very attentive overall though, we waited for the check for quite some time, and I don't think she came back after we got the food initially, actually, but I can't remember for sure. Either way, this place was very disappointing for me, especially with all of the great reviews and recommendations. Maybe I'll try it again some time, but I just was really not thrilled and did not enjoy it, therefore would certainly not recommend.

Yelp
The food is always consistent and very good. Drinks are made well. Make a reservation if going on the weekend, it can be busy.

Yelp
Each time we visit Luna Maya, the food and service never disappoints. Luckily, we haven't had to wait long for a table, even though it can be really busy. Adrienne was our server and she was very prompt and friendly the entire time. Food quality has always been consistent. I always get the same thing - the tamales, of course! I always recommend that to anyone who is visiting for the first time. Luna Maya will always be one of my favorite places to eat!

Yelp
Love this place (and no.. I'm not the owner, I don't work here) Food - Love the Spicy Chicken Quesada either as an appetizer or off the dinner menu! The Salsa is to die for! Magic in a dish! I've gone through almost the entire Burrito! Try the Colorado... hell, any of them are amazing! (And plentiful) The Staff - Professional and personable! Yes, I'm there to eat and spend money but so that aside, I feel like they are happy in there and enjoying my food. Ambiance - it's a very nice comfortable place! If you're looking to watch sports, news or the weather channel, there are no TVs but the music is always good! Terrific place, if you haven't tried it, you should! Thank you Luna Maya for being here!!

Yelp
Luna Maya is the perfect place for a cool summer dinner date. We decided to sit at the patio and the jasmine flowers surrounding the walls and fence left the space with a wonderful smell. Our server was kind and recommended the best dishes to us. I ordered the premium margarita which featured delicious tequila that packed punch. My fiancée got the passion fruit margatini and she loved it. The chips and salsa which extra points because the dish it came in had 2 salsa chambers (perfect for when your date destroys salsa). Our food came out quickly and tasted fantastic! I got the chicken quesadilla with spicy chicken, cheesy and delicious. My fiancée got the highly recommended tamales and they were incredible! Highly recommend for great tasting Latin food!

Yelp
Good food, great service! Nice space outdoors and cool large spaces indoors. A Norfolk mainstay.

Yelp
Love the vibes of this place! It's cute & very lively esp at night. We were there for bit so it definitely shifted to a nice mood lighting after a certain time. The food was good! I liked the plating & taste of everything. I had the guac & chips plus the mushroom poblano quesadilla. Would definitely go here again! It's a little more upscale than other Latin American places but a good date night type of place!

Yelp
Absolutely astonished by the lack of accommodation and service at Luna Maya. Someone in my family is sick, we are not able to be around people. We were given a gift card due to circumstances. We tried to complete an online order but couldn't use the gift card. So we called to place our order. The manager was SO rude over the phone. She told us we couldn't order over the phone under the circumstances and we had to come in to use the gift card. Clearly due to treatment and Illness we were unable to come in. They told us there was nothing they could do. Beyond frustrated by the lack of accommodation Luna Maya was unable to provide.

Yelp
My husband and I had a fantastic dinner at LUNA MAYA this past weekend - we had chicken tacos and chicken quesadilla. Large portions and beautifully prepared. We could not finish eating and took the rest home with us. Wait staff was efficient and pleasant and the hostesses were accommodating even though there was quite a large crowd when we were there at the time. In great area on Colley Avenue. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Went out with friends and family and had a superb experience at Luna Maya's. The service was outstanding, and the food was sensational. The overall ambiance of the restaurant was lively and cheerful. It combines both elegance and festivity to make a unique and rememberable evening for all. Great work by the owners, management, and staff.

Yelp
This place was our happy accident for the evening we forgot about the grand illumination, and the place that we wanted to go to downtown, we just couldn't get parking so we were hunting for a new place and stopped at a wine bar, but they were also unable to accommodate our group and recommended This restaurant as an we had such a great time they were more than accommodating for a large group of nine. Our waitress was amazing, took care with each of our orders, and was very attentive. The food was delicious with extra large portions in my opinion, their queso and guac to die for. We had such a great time, but definitely recommend.

Yelp
It's absolutely awesome! It's our new favorite place for date night. The food and service are top notch!

Yelp
Stopped by for dinner with some friends after work. We enjoyed sitting on the patio - although we were plagued by a ton of flies. Our server was super nice & very attentive! Unfortunately they ran out of guacamole (delivery of avocados wasn't ripe yet) so we ordered chips and salsa instead. I got the shrimp burrito which the server warned me was spicy, but I didn't find it very spicy at all! The food and service are great here but I do think it's overpriced for what you get.

Travis P.

Yelp
This is the whitest Mexican restaurant I've ever been to, I think because it's on colley they charge more for mediocre food and pretend it's upscale. First, they charge $6 for chips and salsa. Fine, some places do that. The chips are worst than Tostitos, def not made in house. The salsa was bland. They have "chorizo" but it's spicy chicken, not actually chorizo. $18 for an over salted spicy chicken quesadilla. Black beans not refried, they were good at least. Mexican rice that was okay. $65 for chips n salsa, a beer and margarita (happy hour prices), quesadilla and enchiladas (with rice and beans). I should have known when I walked in and it was a bunch of 50+ year olds having red wine with their salads. Not your authentic Mexican style restaurant, even plaza azteca is better than this place.
google avatar

Dan G.

Yelp
Don't waste your time coming to this place. The food is bland, over priced, and the vibes were all around lack luster. Waitress flopped big time. Gave us nothing but tude despite our party's benevolence, kindness, and whimsical nature. Go to perro blanco instead !!!!!

Yelp
I ordered "Tamales Luna Maya" and it surprised me!!!! It was sooooo good, definitely not traditional (in my humble opinion) but yeah the corn part was well seasoned with cinnamon or nutmeg or something sweet idk, but it works well with the slow cooked beef brisket which was very tender and juicy. I loved what I ordered and split it in half and had a meal for the next day, very filling! We also ordered the guac which was . Luna Maya also has lots of vegetation and vegan options if you're into that. Service was ok, nothing remarkable and the vibes were cute with a nice interior. Idefinitely want to go here again!

Yelp
Nicely styled restaurant with outside dining, a main dining area attached to the bar area, and a separate dining area that is less noisy. The server was great and food arrived in a timely manner. Happy Hour options are decent. We were a party of six, and all agreed we want to eat at Luna Maya again. Some of the items we had: deconstructed tamale, margaritas, vegan quesadillas, guac, potatoes, and rum cake. Overall good "Boutique Mexican".

Yelp
Trendy restaurant perfect for a date night/dinner before a night out on the town! My boyfriend and I stopped by for an early Saturday night dinner and were able to snag a couple of seats at the bar. I definitely recommend making a reservation otherwise as the place filled up pretty soon after we got there! The atmosphere was great (lots of warm mood lighting, nice open layout) and the service from our bartender was phenomenal! I'd say the prices for everything were pretty fair (high teens for most entrees/low teens for most cocktails) and are certainly worth it for the flavor! We started off with chips and salsa with the chicken chorizo queso. The queso was 10/10 and was actually very filling. The salsa was also very yummy without being too watery. I always hope to go to a Mexican restaurant where chips and salsa are included so that was my only complaint, but it wasn't too big of a deal. For drinks, we ordered a mango mojito (10/10) and a passion fruit margarita (7/10). For our entrees, I ordered the enchiladas verdes with carne asada and my boyfriend ordered the beef brisket burrito with a side of the jalapeño cornbread. The food was AMAZING, presentation was on point, and I've gotta say...don't sleep on the jalapeño cornbread. Overall, this spot is a great place for a fun dinner. Highly recommend!

Yelp
We had a nice dinner & drinks here with some friends. Food was pretty good but nothing crazy. Service was amazing though! Very fast and attentive. My husband and I split the quesadilla and they gave us each our own plate with rice and beans, which was very nice. Skinny marg was just as good as the regular marg in my opinion. Wouldn't be upset to eat here, but wouldn't go out of my way either.

Yelp
I'm going to make it easy for folks. I used to live in Los Angeles, so I know what authentic Mexican is and this pretty far from it. Let's list off the issues: 1. The queso fundido reminded me of Tostitos bagged chips & jarred dip with no flavor and no spice. 2. The steak chimichurri was tasty but cut a bit too prematurely which drained the red juices onto the plate. The chimichurri sauce was fresh and delicious. 3. The vegetable taquitos were not crunchy enough and flavorless. 4. While the margaritas were strong they simultaneously tasted watered down without that classic lime taste that we all know and love. With all this being said, if you're in the mood for Americanized Mexican food, you'll probably enjoy this. Good music and loved the atmosphere. Great service as well.
google avatar

Monica G.

Yelp
Got the Luna Maya tamale special to go. I'm from south texas and miss food from home all the time. The interior is lovely and the outdoor seating is a plus. I will disclose that the food does taste good so you won't regret trying the place, but if you're looking for authenticity you may have better luck elsewhere. The sweet corn masa was quite literally sweet with cinnamon and brown sugar and was more a deconstructed tamale with loose masa and the meat piled on top. I won't fault the restaurant for catering to local tastes at all but I think this will be where I take my Anglo friends versus me coming for a taste of home.

Yelp
Recently we enjoyed a delicious meal and experience at Luna Maya. After an unpleasant experience, I had avoided the restaurant for a few years. We went over Thanksgiving weekend and enjoyed a lovely evening. So glad they are on the right track!!

Yelp
Love the vibe. Food is great. If you're a lover of margaritas. Go with the scratch. You won't be disappointed!! Spicy guacamole is a must also!

Yelp
We came on a Friday when it first opened and the place filled pretty fast! This was my first time here, very tasty and our waitress was very knowledgeable. We came in after our board exams to chill out and relax. We had drinks which were tasty and a little on the strong side but we didn't mind lol!my enchiladas were delicious and my classmates enjoyed their food as well.

Yelp
Always delicious and amazing food. Service is always on point and seating areas designed for everyone both inside and out. Highly recommended for a great time out with family or friends.

Aspen N.

Yelp
We had a great first visit to Luna! Our server was "T" and did a great job - I'm a server myself and he was top notch! Friendly, engaging, quick and knew lots about the menu! We had the habanero shrimp app, chimichurri steak app, tamales, spicy guacamole, stuffed poblanos and steak tacos. All fabulous! Always room for food improvement so that's why there's 4 stars but overall fantastic space and would visit again! We also ordered 4 different cocktails and all were delicious!

Yelp
Had a wonderful date night with my wife tonight. She has been to Luna Maya before, I had not. She told me that I would Like it. And I did. Don't want to influence your choices with my taste / what I had. Food was good, drinks were Amazing! Staff was Outstanding! Our waitress, Daytona and Bartenders Ashley and Berkley... Wonderful. Thank you for the great evening. We'll be back.
google avatar

Yelp
Had dinner at Luna Maya last night and as always it was delicious. I finally tried the tamale house specialty and it was delicious. Don't sleep on their brisket. The vibe is also perfect for cocktails and they have a great selection. The margaritas and caipirinhas are yummy! Can't wait to go back again!
google avatar

Tracy T. S.

Yelp
This has been my "go to" for Mexican/American food for years. This even at its prior location, which was much smaller. So many restaurants loose their customer base when they move, and "upsize;" not "Luna Maya." Great food. Great ambiance. Wonderful staff. I'm not a true Mexican food fan, but this place brings me in, consistently. Highly recommend.
google avatar

Paul T.

Yelp
Extremely disappointed with the vegan tamales. They aren't even tamales. The beans and rice also tasted weird and bad. People hype this place up. I was not expecting it to be so bad.

Yelp
I'm a big fan of Luna Maya. Great atmosphere to grab dinner or a drink. When I went the restaurant was pretty crowded. Didn't have reservations and it took ~30 min to get seated. Not terrible. If you're looking for great vegan/vegetarian food this is your spot. They have tons of great options!

Yelp
Disappointing experience! Came in for dinner on a Friday night. A bit of a line to enter. 3 hosts/greeters at the door, not one smiled, said hello, or asked a question. Just a blank stare waiting for us to say how many for our party, quoted a 20 minute wait time, and recommend a seat at the bar to wait. The bar: Cleaning products next to cambros next to dirty rags = gross! Sad to see the main tequila on the drink menu is Sauza Gold and their top shelf is 1800?! Not much else to choose from (more Sauza and Patron) even if you wanted better tequila. $11 Pomegranate margarita was loaded with mixer. My husband's gin & tonic was good. The bartender was friendly, but between the 4 staff behind the bar, it took more than 15 minutes to close the tab (required before sitting at the table). Dinner service: once seated, same lack-luster, no smile greeting from the server while waiting for hubs to close out at the bar. Sat in a back room behind main dining room, extremely noisy and packed with too many close-seated tables. After looking at the menu and not wanting to figure out what "tasty bean spread" was (an ingredient noted on many dishes), we decided to order chips & queso ($11 plate of salty TOSTITOS chips and cheap, flavorless white melty cheese). Skipped dinner. We will not be back.

Yelp
It had been a while since I had been to Luna Maya. When my oldest was in ballet I feel like Luna Maya dinner and mojitos were what kept me going during this long classes. Excited to go back would be an understatement. We even got a table outside and the weather could not have been more perfect. We ordered the guacamole and chips, because that's what we always did and nostalgia feels right these days. It was just as delicious as it has always been. My husband ordered the stuff poblanos and I of course took the first bite, and yes, they were everything I remember. I ordered the Enchiladas de Queso (made with corn tortillas) and added mushrooms, peppers, and onions. Oh my gosh, they were so good. So cheesy, so satisfying, like a warm hug from the past. My kids both got the Holy Moly Burrito (I think that's right) and they agreed, nostalgia is good for the soul.

Yelp
Ambient Latin American restaurant with a down-to-earth vibe. Be sure to come hungry, because the food and drinks are plentiful! I dined here on a Saturday night with a group of friends; there were 8 of us, including a toddler. Pro-tip: make reservations in advance. While they were unable to accept day-of reservations, the hostess graciously agreed to seat us when half our party arrived, since a few of us had gotten there early. It was a busy evening and she raced around to accommodate us while remaining attentive to other patrons. Very much appreciated. They even went out of their way to secure a table with a high-chair for our friend's two-year-old. Now, the exciting part: we started with a round of drinks - I got the sangria. It was light, fruity, and what I'd describe as dangerously delicious. Paired perfectly with chips and guac. We ordered guac for the table, which was fresh, flavorful, and ended up being more than enough for all of us. The menu itself is extensive and I had a tough time deciding. There are several vegan options and while I'm not vegan myself, try to eat plant-based when available. My fiance got the vegan enchiladas, while I got the vegan quesadilla. Both were generous portions with a side of Mexican rice and pinto beans. While rice and beans typically go forgotten, these could have been a meal in themself! The real showstopper was the main course. The enchiladas were a bit too starchy for my taste since they were filled with potatoes, but delicious nonetheless. My meal proved that cheese isn't a requirement for a good quesadilla. It was stuffed to the brim with caramelized onions, beans (that resembled the ones in my side dish), and roasted poblanos. It's the kind of delicious that unfortunately had us eating past the point of fullness - luckily, we still had some leftovers. We can't wait to return and try more of the menu. Our friends ordered the brisket-stuffed tamales which were HUGE and next on our list.

Yelp
The portions here are pretty big so if you are going on a date I'd recommend splitting a burrito or some tacos. The food here that they say is spicy is actually spicy, but it's so good! And the wait staff is very friendly!

Yelp
Food was great would definitely go back again. Atmosphere was calm and cool. And service was great

Yelp
Tamale Luna Maya: sweet corn tamale, beef brisket, and sour cream. This was phenomenal. It had all the flavors balanced so well, sweetness from the sweet corn tamale, the salty and savory from the beef brisket, and the sour cream. Each component has its own textures. You must try this dish! Burrito Con Rajas: tortilla stuffed w/ spicy pork chorizo, roasted poblano chiles, rice & beans, pepper jack cheese, chipotle sour cream. This is another fantastic dish. All the ingredients came together wonderfully. There was a smoky flavor to the sauce that was enticing. Our server was kind and helpful with my entree selection. Definitely visit this place if you are in the area.

Yelp
I just moved to the area and this spot has been one consistently recommended to me. I first tried to visit with a friend on a Friday night--my mistake. I was told you don't have to have a reservation, but the wait at that time was 45 minutes so we passed. Thankfully, I was able to walk right in for indoor seating (there was a wait for outdoor) the following Tuesday night. My dad and I started with chips and salsa. I personally was not a fan. The chips were very salty and the salsa was a thick, robust purée that lacked a certain freshness to me. It wasn't worth the extra money for me, but they do give you a nice portion (served with two separate salsa dishes). The cilantro lime chicken tacos were calling my name, because those two flavors are some of my favorites. Our server asked if I wanted sour cream or cheese--I requested the latter. The presentation was fun and unique. I like that you get to construct your own tacos with the variety of toppings to include slaw, pico and guacamole. The slaw gave a nice crunch, but I found it to be bland. The chicken itself was juicy and bursting with flavor! Rightfully the star of the dish. Nothing negative to say on service or atmosphere. I would definitely go back, but my first experience wasn't as memorable as I had hoped. All in all, it was a tasty meal but won't be a go-to.

Yelp
Upscale Mexican restaurant! We really enjoyed the ambiance and overall aesthetic. The vibe was upscale yet casual (meaning you wouldn't feel out of place in shorts and a tank). The prices were reasonable and the food was clean, flavorful and not overly seasoned. We started with guacamole and queso, no standard chips and dip were brought out. The guacamole was fresh and came out quickly. For our main entrees I got the stuffed poblanos and my husband got the burrito con rajas. Neither of us could finish the portions but the food was delicious. The stuffed poblanos had a little bit of spice which was a nice surprise. We'll be back to try more items soon!

Yelp
If it ain't broke...must go for staple food (guac is insane as well as the Tamales LM, tacos, salad, Chimichurri steak) and bevs (skinny mojitos, margaritas). Warm greeting from hostess, Lilah. Adrienne is a fabulous server! Quick, attentive, friendly, and knowledge. Just go. Note: Parking can be challenging at peak dinner times, and the room echos...not a quiet dining spot!
google avatar

Georgia J.

Yelp
Amazing service - our waiter was extremely kind, friendly, and gave us great advice on what to order. The carne asada tacos were great & pretty solid order. The spicy and regular margarita were not bad or good, but pretty standard! The outdoor section was delightful in the nice weather and definitely a more casual feel than inside seating.

Yelp
This restaurant is very calm and comfortable ! the waiters are very friendly and recommended me my meal since This was my first time here and the menu was very interesting but If I'm not mistaken i got the Luna Maya Salad with Flank Steak ! This was a good course to eat and the steak was very good and had lots of flavor I would recommend this if you want to eat something small and light and if you like your steak rough !!!

Daniel E.

Yelp
Food and drinks are phenomenal. Definitely recommend. Added the queso to the burrito and it was the right choice! Service and the setting was awesome for a quick date night.

Yelp
The Steak chimichurri and tacos with Chipotle sour cream always keeps me coming back‼ Locally I haven't found better and at this point I don't think I need to, lol. No matter where I sit when I visit everyone from the hostesses, wait staff, bar staff to even the kitchen staff are all so friendly, that makes the experience... because if the staff of any restaurant sucks I personally don't care how good the food is, I won't ever return. Well, Luna Maya checks all the boxes and I'll for sure visit again soon.

Yelp
The food is amazing and the guac specifically is so so so good. The restaurant decor is so cute and I loved the playlist the last time I went! There's outdoor and indoor dining, outdoor is better depending on the weather of course.

Yelp
Awesome food - maybe the best Mexican I've had north of the border - definitely the best in the area. Good vegetarian options. Awesome atmosphere. Will go again! Make a reservation as they are always busy. They close on the dot as well, so better to come early if you want to take your time.

Yelp
Loud and busy on weekends. But a lunch/supper on a not too busy night is worth seeking out. Great food.

Yelp
This restaurant has been established for many years, the food is delicious; however, the prices increased. Payed $20 for a salad (cabbage and a protein). We were a table of 4, we ordered appetizers, meal and desserts. The dessert (tres leches) was a little different from the ones that we have had in other places, it was okay.
