Fantastic dinner. We did the Menu Demi-Lune (Half Moon) - 3 appetizers to share between the two of us, and two mains. Every bite was flawless and presentation was lovely. Perfect amount of food for two. We brought a bottle of wine and enjoyed the ambiance. Would absolutely return

The service and food werre both exceptional. It was my second time here and I will be definitely coming back. What i love about this place, Bring your own wine, the combination menu of appetizers and main course, the vegetarian options that are offered and the very friendly and courteous service. The food was delicious, nicely spicy and nice portions. I give this restaurant 10 stars.

Luna Korean Restaurant is an absolute treasure! From the moment you walk in, the cozy ambiance and friendly staff make you feel welcome. The menu offers an authentic range of Korean dishes that are bursting with flavor. I tried their combo and it was exceptional. The ingredients tasted fresh, and was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection right at the table. The side dishes were plentiful and delicious, adding a nice variety to the meal.

Had a great dinner here. You can enjoy decent Korean cuisine here. I liked that the taste wasn't too strong or spicy. The food served as a course was nea. I wish the pieces of pork in the stir-fried pork were a little bigger

We enjoyed our visit to Luna. It's important to note that the tasting menu is mandatory on Fridays and Saturdays, which can significantly increase the final bill. While it ended up being more expensive than expected—especially since we initially planned to order just one dish—we appreciated the opportunity to try several starters, which were very good and a pleasant discovery. Overall, a nice experience.

Yelp
It's a Saturday and we did not have reservations any where. We walked into Luna. The maitre d' was very friendly and accommodating. He explained the menu and gave us time to think. We ordered the tasting menu half moon style. The appetizers were plentiful and included. We were almost full from their deliciousness. The entree choices were bimimbap or vermicelli. We chose the bjnjmbap and ordered salmon and beef. So delicious!! The restaurant is nicely planned and very cozy. We loved our food and experience Don't forget the dessert too

Yelp
We were warmly greeted by our server, shown to a premier table for two by the window at the end of a long banquette, and quickly enveloped into the energy and synergy of this small, intimate, and cozy restaurant in Le Plateau. Luna defines both the Apportez Votre Vin ethos of this historic neighborhood and the elevated global offerings in both cuisine and hospitality that make Montreal a true foodie heaven. We both enjoyed the half-moon (demi-lune) fixed menu, starting with a long board of bites to whet our appetites, leading to steamed and fried dumplings and the most tasty barbecue fried chicken I might have ever had - I could have ordered an entire bowl of it. We both ordered Bibimbap and asked for the volcanic bowl (not listed as an option on the demo-moon). Three options for sauces are available (I had chicken with soy, my companion beef with spicy) and both were full of flavor, fresh ingredients, and those very satisfying crispy rice bits along the bottom of the bowl. Mine sizzled for a good many minutes, allowing me some time to refill my wine and take in the beautiful people and vibrant energy all around me. On a cold, winter night, there's not much more one can ask for in this magical city. Fantastique!

Yelp
Get the bibimpap! The crispy rice is awesome. BBQ was rather one note in terms of flavors and textures. We did the full moon, a lot of food. Suggest bringing a really acidic / mineral driven white (sauvignon blanc) wine as food is really rich. Our pinot noir was a good choice if you lean red. Service was good up until mains which came out after a pause. We really enjoyed the fried chicken and dumplings. On a Friday night, ambiance was vibrant, if not noisy. Solid choice for BYOB. Missing some traditional Korean items to get to 5 stars, but probably great for Montreal.

Yelp
Luna is beautiful. I love the dark elegant decor and sexy lighting. Rebecca and I went there one early evening on a weekend after the Botanical Gardens and we had a splendid meal. She had the vegan japchae with tofu and avocado which was very delicious. I had the vegan dolsot bibimbap with tofu and avocado. I also got some extra fried tofu which was my absolute favourite of the evening. My bibimbap was pretty good and the server gave me some special Korean capsicum hot sauce. This place would've gotten an easy 5 stars from me except the one problem was that I was served a dish which was not vegetarian. The sweet potato has an oyster marinade. Beware! Ooo and the sparkling yuzu drink was very good.

Yelp
While passing through the tourist line up at La Banquise next door in the cold wind of Montreal, we entered this small & homie family-run restaurant with a good bottle of Pinot noir, ordered a hot bibimbap, a squid bbq and some appetizers. We were greeted with the sweetest smile from the owner & the young waitress. The food was authentic (a bit less spicy due to the "plateau"effect) and well-presented, and It was exactly what we needed! It's also relatively inexpensive for the neighbourhood considering the attentive service and the beautiful decor. You can even make it a weekend night combo with Pit Caribou after for a beer. Im gonna be a regular here after my first experience (ps: better arrive not too hungry on weekend, the food comes out a bit slow when it's full house) !

Yelp
Amazing food and over the top service! the chef is super talented! I'm so happy my friend took me to her favourite restaurant in Montreal. It is the best kept secret :) she ordered the galbi ravoli and the pork main dish and I had the succulent beef bugoli.

Yelp
3 1/2 stars. After reading a critic on Tastet, we knew we had to come here to try it out ourselves. Being a fan of BYOB and Korean cuisine, it was a no brainer. A bit more expensive then most Korean (even for byob), keep in mind that it situated in the Plateau. So still good eats. This place has been opened for 5 months now and still needs some refinements with the service. This opinion is from the fact that we had our order taken 45 minutes after arriving and that we had to ask them for certain things such as the banchan that they forgot to bring to our table. The food itself was tasty and all but lack that Korean punch that I was looking for. Perhaps they've adjusted to fit the more " Americanize " palette? I've taste way more authentic even though this establishment is Korean run. One of our appetizers, the fried chicken in a sweet sauce (we both said it's a general Tao) was 6 tiny bite size for 7$, had more batter then meat ratio. Too expensive in my opinion but very crispy and tasty nonetheless. Both our mains came on a sizzling plate but not sizzling. It was more for presentation then anything else. It wasn't pippin hot. My husband had the squid that was supposed to be spicy but wasn't. It was on the chewy side (over cooked) but still tasty. I had the bulgogi and I thought it lacked a bit of character. Now don't get me wrong. This place is worth coming if you're around the area. Maybe just not worth the 50 minutes drive (plus another to return home). That's how long it took us to get here. Service itself is ok. They still need to refine their method and communicate a bit more. I've notice some errors but nothing major. Although they were super busy, this family run restaurant still managed to make us feel very welcome!

Yelp
Hands down the best bring your own wine I've been to. The food is inspired and the service is excellent. I lived in Korea for a year...this is the real deal!

Yelp
Delicious fresh ingredients. I'm Korean, and I enjoyed the food. We ordered the Haemool Jeon and the dolsot bibimbap and bulgogi. Everything was fresh and well presented. (I am miffed that we had to pay for kimchi- that is rare). But nice vibe to the place, pretty, well decorated. They nailed the ambience. We came on a Sunday night and the entire restaurant was full. It is BYOB, there is a convenience store down the street where we picked up some beer.

Yelp
Went there with my wife and tried their tasting menu for two. Everything was delicious: dumplings, tofu and crispy chicken. I took the pork BBQ as my main, which was very flavourful, and she thoroughly enjoyed the vegetarian poke bowl. Excellent service, reasonable prices, and most importantly, great tasting food.

Yelp
We were heading to a different restaurant that was closed for vacation when we stumbled on this little Korean gem called Luna! Everything was fantastic. Ambience, service, music, food. We very quickly contemplated just coming back here for dinner every night of our vacation it was so fantastic. Give it a try, you won't regret it.

Yelp
Food is amazing! Music they play is terrible. Service is lovely. Please change the music!
